RAYS POSTCAST: The Tampa Bay Rays get OVERPOWERED by the Detroit Tigers

The Tampa Bay Rays can't complete the sweep, loosing to the Tigers 9-3. The Rays offense sputtered a bit in this one. After a Junior Caminero home run in the 4th inning tied the game at 1 the Rays could not muster another run until the game was already out of hand. They got runners in scoring position in the 4th, 5th and 7th but could not come through. They would add a few runs in the 9th after the Tigers already had a big lead. They finished 1/8 with RISP. The Tigers would hit a big 2 run home run in the 7th inning. But they would put the game away in the 9th inning scoring 6 runs in the inning. The Rays still had a winning homestand going 4-3. The Rays will have an off day tomorrow and then head to Kansas City to start a 3 game series Tuesday.
