RAYS POSTCAST: The Tampa Bay Rays turn in an EMBARRASSING performance vs the The A's

The Tampa Bay Rays put up one of their worst performances of the year, losing to the A's 6-0. Nothing went right for the Rays tonight. They only mustered 4 hits and struck out 10 times. The Rays did not get a runner to 3rd base until the 9th inning and only a runner to 2nd base 3 times. The A's scored on a RBI double in the 2nd inning. Then in the 3rd a 2 out double would give the A's a 3-0 lead. Then the Rays dropped an infield pop up which led to another Rays run. The Rays offense finished the game going 1 for 16 as they failed to put up any kid of fight. Shane Baz started for the Rays and was inconsistent. He went 7 IP striking out 7 but allowed 4 earned runs. Baz did not give up a lot, but what he did give up hurt the Rays. The Rays will look to win the series tomorrow night.
