Ep. 75: Extension-palooza, '52 Mantle Card Record, Midweek Conversation w/ Tom Garvey

In this week's episode, contract extensions are the talk of the league. Julio Rodriguez, Adley Rutschman and Michael Harris II cashed in. The boys discuss the risks and rewards of each deal. The Holy Grail card, Honus Wanger's T206, has taken a backseat to the new king of the trading card industry: the Topps 1952 Mickey Mantle. It was sold for a staggering $12.6 million dollars. Michael and Steve shine a light on it and the industry as a whole after the auction.  The Author of 'The Secret Apartment', Tom Garvey, sits down with the boys to talk about what it was like secretly living in the former Veterans Stadium in the late 70s-early 80s. His stories will mesmerize you and bring you in to what those years were like in Philly on the heels of the Vietnam War. The boys round out the show with Fantasy Factory and Collection Corner.
