Conversations on Love is a new series to gain insights about love and how to cultivate a loving relationship with yourself. How to master loving yourself. Love is our natural state of being and the essence of who we truly are. However, many feel unloving, unlovable and unworthy. Overtime life experiences, faulty beliefs formulated from childhood and onward influenced, shaped by family, religion, culture and institutions have resulted in many feeling not good enough. Mired in fear with guilt, shame, anger and pain our perception gets distorted.  Dr. Jean Marie highlights love being transitional and conditional based on overgiving, people pleasing, self-sacrificing and deprioritzing one's self. Love being dependent on how we are perceived and valued by others. Love that is not true with pure intentions. Dr. Jean Marie encourage listeners to engage in gentle self-reflection and self-introspection to tend to our thoughts and feelings and take note of the unloving and unhealthy conversations we have with ourselves throughout the day.

Dr. Jean Marie encourages listeners to "Create a New Love Story" and this begins with loving you. To carefully tend to your garden of love and weed out unhealthy patterns and find joy in who you are and who you are meant to be. She encourage listeners to share their thoughts and experiences on love in addition to topics for discussion to create a loving space. She concludes this episode with a loving practice and  excerpt on "Self-Romance".

Are You A Charlotte?

Are You A Charlotte?

In 1997, actress Kristin Davis’ life was forever changed when she took on the role of Charlotte York in Sex and the City. As we watched Carrie, Samantha, Miranda and Charlotte navigate relationships in NYC, the show helped push once unacceptable conversation topics out of the shadows and altered the narrative around women and sex. We all saw ourselves in them as they searched for fulfillment in life, sex and friendships. Now, Kristin Davis wants to connect with you, the fans, and share untold stories and all the behind the scenes. Together, with Kristin and special guests, what will begin with Sex and the City will evolve into talks about themes that are still so relevant today. "Are you a Charlotte?" is much more than just rewatching this beloved show, it brings the past and the present together as we talk with heart, humor and of course some optimism.
