Love is not something new to learn. We are love at our core. Love is inherent and the essence of who we truly are. Due to deep conditioned fear and faulty beliefs, we forget our truth. Lift yourself by embodying the higher ideals of love to achieve self-mastery.  Becoming the master of your self is the ultimate empowerment that requires awareness and practice.  Our thoughts and feeling determine our state of being. Knowing your truth, you appreciate your uniqueness and emulate your divine self.

The mind is unruly, it will set you back if you are not alert. Each present moment is an opportunity to reclaim your power. The power that lies within frees you from external forces that diminish your capacity to love. Sustain the change with practice (mental alertness, monitoring our thoughts, feelings and actions). Then express yourself in a different way, which is self-reinforcing.

Dr. Jean Marie shares the "Wholistic Model of Love", adopted from Henry Drummond, who analyzed love that includes nine ingredients in her assessment of the "Recipe of Love": Patience, humility, generosity, courtesy, kindness, unselfishness, good temper, guilessness and sincerity. These make up the supreme gift but all must be practiced to demonstrate love.

Dr. Jean Marie highlights the ingredient of love, 'Patience', and the outcomes.  She poses reflective questions for consideration. The Love in Action practice is to journal on Patience, what it means personally, what it feels like when you are and are not being patient with yourself and others. Journal on the benefits and outcomes.

Change is challenging and it takes practice to be your best self. When you get off track, do not be discouraged but be gentle with yourself.  Each moment of the day we are making choices.  The closing excerpt is "CHOOSE" with emphais on the heart of love.
