As the conversation unfolds Sam opens up about the personal loss of his mother to cancer and a family member to suicide, sharing how these painful experiences, paired with Andy Stanley's wisdom, influenced his approach to life and, ultimately, political leadership.
The controversial sermon Stanley delivered after the Unconditional Conference in October 2023, comes up and sparks a deeper, raw and at times uneasy discussion about skin color, the intersection of faith, love, and inclusion. What emerges is a candid discussion full of surprises, raw moments, differing views, and unexpected revelations.
