This week on LOTW Becky and Bevy talk about a case where a young girl gets murdered by someone close to home. The murder occurred in October 2009, when nine-year-old Elizabeth Olten left her home in St. Martins, Missouri, to visit a friend who lived just a few houses away. When she didn’t return home later that evening, her family grew concerned and contacted authorities. A search began almost immediately, with neighbors and law enforcement combing the area. As the investigation progressed, attention turned to a wooded area near her home, where disturbing evidence was found that would ultimately unravel the mystery of her disappearance.
