I got to speak with Chelsea Santos- the owner of Yaya + Lou- A curated children's store in College Park, FL promoting ownership of fewer, better things. Offering baby & children clothing and accessories. is a retail space made up of new and gently used luxury merchandise.
I spoke to Chelsea about her time living in NY and birth of her 1st daughter ignited her passion for kids’ fashion and the desire to open achildren’s clothing store- Yaya + Lou
We discussed how she has evolved her store to include Encorner along with weekly book readings and provides a free play area (Lil Locals Play Town) to encourage community-building. As well as, opening a 2nd location in Tampa and dealing with some unexpected circumstances - all while being a mom, working a full time job and running a store in College Park.
