In this episode, I talk to Rick Shand and Tracey Jaret of Berkshire Hathaway Home Services Utah Properties about the luxury real estate market in Park City, Utah.
They share the story behind the creation of Park City Mountain Resort, the largest ski resort in the United States, which has led to rapid growth in Park City, a former mining town.
From a strategy perspective, Rick and Tracey share some recommendations and first steps for buyers looking at ski resort properties. From arming clients with as much knowledge as possible to setting up proper expectations, we discuss advice on getting the best terms for buyers.
In the end, we talk about some of the unique aspects of selling property in a burgeoning market like Park City.

CrimeLess: Hillbilly Heist
It’s 1996 in rural North Carolina, and an oddball crew makes history when they pull off America’s third largest cash heist. But it’s all downhill from there. Join host Johnny Knoxville as he unspools a wild and woolly tale about a group of regular ‘ol folks who risked it all for a chance at a better life. CrimeLess: Hillbilly Heist answers the question: what would you do with 17.3 million dollars? The answer includes diamond rings, mansions, velvet Elvis paintings, plus a run for the border, murder-for-hire-plots, and FBI busts.
