In this interview with Erik Brown of Douglas Elliman, we discuss some key advice for luxury buyers and seller.

First, Erik tells the story of how he got into the luxury real estate business and shares some unique aspects of the Beverly Hills market.

What three main things sell a property? Hint: they all start with the letter P.

In regards to this, Erik explains what absorption rate is and how sellers can use this to their advantage.

Since luxury real estate sales are so different from traditional sales, they require a different approach to marketing. From videos to open houses, Erik and I talk about what marketing promotions work for him and the importance of creating crafted lifestyle messages.

When it comes to getting the best price and terms, we discuss why time is a buyer’s friend and share some real life examples of this idea in action.
