There are 18 new horror books this month that caught my eye. Some of these covers are truly perfect, and we have everything from collections, gothics, and eco-horror to choose from. There is a mini-trend of using thorns on the covers this month, and only one with yellow text (insert sad trombone noise of lore and infamy here). Duotone covers remain a trend, though we see more photographic entries this time around. The most often used font is Helvetica, and that can't be a surprise as it is the most often used font in the entire world. I should say that anytime I say Helvetica, I do mean a grotesk type of font; a sans-serif Helvetica-like font. I don't do the research needed to name each one exactly. Arial, Grotesk, Impact, Proxima, who knows! What I call a bellbottom or bootleg or bootcut font is probably better described as a psychedelic or hippy font.As ever in horror, a lot of books feature black and houses on the covers, and this month is no exception. There are at least three I need to read, how about your picks?Typical Books EP343 - March New Horror Books✮✮✮✮✮✮ ▹ Bookworm Central on Patreon ▹ / typicalbooks ▹ Bookworm decor is here! ▹ https://shop.typicalbooks.com/ ▹ All socials, the shop and news ▹ https://linktr.ee/LydiaPeever▹ Read books I wrote ▹ https://amzn.to/3k20OY6▹ A list of horror books out each month ▹ https://typicalbooks.com/newhorror▹ Music by ænorex ▹ https://aenorex.com As an Amazon Associate, I earn from qualifying purchases when you use Amazon links here.
