Speaker 1 (00:04):
Welcome to Man and Finally Single.

Speaker 2 (00:06):
I'm Jamie Black, I'm Summer Austin, and I'm Skyler Fast
and No Jones.

Speaker 3 (00:10):
And this is a meredithvers I fan podcast where we
invite a guest on who's never watched an episode. Hey, everybody,
we're back for another episode of Man Finally Single. We
have a guest today that I think Summer is going
to introduce.

Speaker 2 (00:28):
I am. I am so something breakfast excited to introduce
one of my favorite people. She's a comedian, she's an actress.
She does all the things, the amazing, the talented, the
always funny, Elle creative.

Speaker 4 (00:52):
Thank you so much for having me. I'm so excited.

Speaker 2 (00:55):
Oh my gosh, thanks for being here. So Elle, I
don't know too much about your television watching habits, but well,
you know you haven't seen an episode of Married at
First Sight before? But are you a reality TV person?
Do you like it?

Speaker 4 (01:10):
I do? But I think I stopped in the last
few years. Like I used to watch the Kardashians all
the time, Bander Pump Rules, some of the housewives, but
then I realized that my life is actually the real joke.
So I'm like, you know, I need to probably stop
watching other people's lives and maybe focus a little bit

(01:31):
more online.

Speaker 2 (01:32):
Oh well, that's a great segway. Tell us a little
bit about yourself, Elle.

Speaker 4 (01:39):
So I'm from Philly. I moved back to LA in
twenty twenty, right during the pandemic.

Speaker 2 (01:46):
Moved back to LA. So you were here and then
you moved away, then you moved back.

Speaker 4 (01:50):
Yeah. I went to school out here, okay, and then
I was held up. I had identity, theft, all of
the things. I'm like, let me move home. I'm over
the wow between that. Yeah, I worked in New York.
I lived in New York a little bit back in Philly,
and then I just kept trying to figure out when
the right time was to move back to LA for acting.

(02:11):
And twenty twenty apparently was the time.

Speaker 2 (02:16):
That's where I moved as well. So I guess we're
on the same page to that.

Speaker 4 (02:20):
Yeah. So now I've been here for four years. I
moved with my husband Doug and our dog Juicy, and yeah,
and now I and Summer got me interested in stand
up comedy and now I'm really on.

Speaker 2 (02:32):
That crushing That's it's ironic that someone from the main
streets of Philly got It's such violent things happening to.

Speaker 4 (02:42):
Them in La right, you know, pushed me out of here.
But listen, I came back.

Speaker 3 (02:51):
Because you're from the mean streets of Philly exactly.

Speaker 4 (02:57):
Can't hold me down.

Speaker 2 (02:59):
Oh my god, hilarious.

Speaker 3 (03:01):
Okay, so are we ready to Hey, let's do it
talk about But first, l Or do you normally watch
reality TV?

Speaker 2 (03:12):
You were gone?

Speaker 4 (03:12):
I already?

Speaker 3 (03:13):
Oh did you sorry? I had to get my notes.
I'm so sorry. Never mind forget that. I asked this
question already. I hear it. Okay, maybe we should just let.

Speaker 2 (03:27):
Her answer it again.

Speaker 3 (03:28):
No, No, it's okay, it's okay.

Speaker 1 (03:31):
I'll listen to it when I'm editing it.

Speaker 3 (03:33):
So all right. So so let's let's talk about the couples.
Let's start with Madison and Allen.

Speaker 2 (03:41):
Do you remember who they are?

Speaker 1 (03:42):
Al?

Speaker 4 (03:42):
Yeah? I do. Actually, I'm like, okay, I think I
do remember everybody, and maybe by name.

Speaker 2 (03:47):
We'll help you if you can't.

Speaker 5 (03:48):
Yeah, that's one of the blonde women.

Speaker 4 (03:51):
Yeah yeah, and that's I mean, I don't think anybody
on there is like a natural like I wouldn't put
them together, but there I think actually like one of
the two cutest couples and I think they're like trying
to make it work. Very awkward though. Yeah, I remember
when they played Twister.

Speaker 2 (04:09):
Yes, I remember when they couldn't say Twister on TV.

Speaker 5 (04:13):
Yes. I love how they're like, here's a cute game.
If you pull a red card and it says left foot.
I was like pretending that doctor Pia invented Twister.

Speaker 4 (04:30):
I think my favorite part of that was he's like
she pulled the card. That was like, let me hear
your best moan that like the sheer look of fear
in this man. I give the credit for doing it,
though I don't think I would have done the national television.

Speaker 2 (04:49):
Especially, these are not performers, you know. It's like this
is you know, maybe we would if we were, you know,
but even that is that's pretty that's pretty intense. Oh god, yeah,
the Twister thing I got. I love that they kept saying, like,
have what is your experience playing this game before? I

(05:09):
can't get over it. Why why couldn't they say it?
And then they said it on the after party, So
I don't understand why the board.

Speaker 4 (05:17):
Literally said twister. They didn't black it out, so it's like.

Speaker 5 (05:22):
Maybe they weren't sure initially if they would be able
to get the rights to say it, so they don't
say it, and then later on they're like, oh, well,
this is awkward because we has Bro or Milton Bradley
or whoever was like, yeah, you're good.

Speaker 2 (05:35):
Oh my gosh, it's so funny.

Speaker 3 (05:38):
I mean, I don't know why you would. I mean,
it's like free advertising for Twister because it may make
people go, oh, I remember that game. Maybe I'll get
it for Christmas.

Speaker 4 (05:47):
Yeah, yeah, I'm not getting the same cards about moaning
and sexual position.

Speaker 2 (05:56):
That's probably why they weren't sure.

Speaker 3 (06:00):
Oh right, because it added the sexual twist. Yes, well,
maybe there should be a version of Twister like this.

Speaker 2 (06:13):
I think Cards Against Humanity and Twister need to get together.

Speaker 3 (06:16):
And there you go.

Speaker 5 (06:19):
That's a new marketing technique or a new product one
can make.

Speaker 3 (06:27):
Yeah, anything else about I mean there's but a whole
lot other than Madison said she wasn't wearing any underwear.

Speaker 2 (06:38):
Yeah, well play national television too.

Speaker 3 (06:42):
I mean I would. I don't care. I'm not wearing
underwear now.

Speaker 4 (06:47):
Yeah, but did you hear the way she whispered it?
Thank you for sharing, Jamie. It was funny the way
she whispered it. She's like, I'm gonna whisper this, but
I'm gonna whispering it loud enough that people on TV
can hear. I'm like, you might as well have just
said it right.

Speaker 2 (07:07):
Right you are, Mike, we can hear you.

Speaker 3 (07:13):
Yeah, Okay. Anything else about.

Speaker 5 (07:14):
Them, I don't like Madison. She's annoying, Like she's the
epitome of whenever they have a serious conversation, she's like
the epitome of I'm sorry you feel that way.

Speaker 2 (07:27):
Yeah, you know, she just she just is trying to
Like I just feel like so many of them are
trying to start stuff, you know, with there. It's like,
can you just be cool?

Speaker 3 (07:39):
Yeah, because the producers are telling them to start stuff I.

Speaker 5 (07:43):
Know well has heard. But I feel like that when
Pea was there with them, they were like, what can
we start doing to prioritize Alan? And she's like compliment
me more, Like I think that's I don't like her.

Speaker 4 (08:04):
True, That's what I should tell everybody, like even at work,
like how can we make your workday better? Compliment me more?

Speaker 5 (08:14):
I made this heard, But I was like, did she
just say like I'm going to prioritize him once he
compliments me?

Speaker 4 (08:22):
No, that's pretty much what she said, and she went
into detail with it. Two, don't just be like you
look nice because you tell your grandma on that, be
like you look beautiful, you look pretty.

Speaker 2 (08:32):
I know it's so mean, Like, don't like, why are
we if.

Speaker 4 (08:37):
You look narcissistic?

Speaker 2 (08:38):
Yeah, he's trying to give you a freaking compliment. Your
compliments aren't good enough. You suck at compliments.

Speaker 3 (08:45):
Okay, So I'm just going to be devil's advocate here.
She's asking for what she wants, and I find that
to be very useful because if she never said that
and he just kept with the you know, you look nice,
she's internally resenting that. But he doesn't know that he's

(09:08):
doing anything wrong. That's not that he's doing anything wrong
by just saying she looks nice. That's what I'm trying
to say. I'm just trying to in her defense, the
fact that she's just asking for what she wants, and
it may be something that none of us would ever say.

Speaker 5 (09:22):
But okay, you know, in her defense, she's crazy, got it?

Speaker 3 (09:32):
Well, I mean, let me let me. I just want
to fall because Summer said this this thing that, oh,
your compliments aren't good enough, and I don't think. I
do kind of think that's what she was saying, but
I don't know. I can't, I can't articulate it, never mind.

Speaker 4 (09:50):
But like that didn't make her feel good, like because
he could give that compliment to anybody, right, you look.
I mean, I understand where she's coming from. Like, I'm married.
So if he was like, hey, you look nice, and
then I've just spent like eight hours getting ready or
something like that, like I look nice, like.

Speaker 2 (10:05):
You spend eight hours getting ready?

Speaker 4 (10:07):
No, obviously not, but.

Speaker 2 (10:15):
You know it's true. I see what you mean. Yeah,
everyone wants to feel beautiful.

Speaker 1 (10:24):
Yeah, true, Okay, all right, are we don Alan Allen.

Speaker 2 (10:28):
Needs to feel beautiful too?

Speaker 1 (10:29):
Ye does.

Speaker 3 (10:30):
And she's been right exactly. She's been criticizing everything that
he wears and and everything. It's like, well, okay, so
now now that's some give and take. You gotta compliment me.
That's what I would have said if I were Alan,
Well you gotta you gotta like my pineapple shirt? Dammit.

Speaker 5 (10:46):
Maybe maybe that's his passive aggressive way of getting back,
or hear him being like, you know what, you're gonna
pick on me, so you know what? You look fine?

Speaker 4 (11:00):
Real hair underneath your weave, so covered up better.

Speaker 3 (11:08):
Oh my gosh. Okay, all right, let's move on. Let's
move on. Camille and Thomas.

Speaker 4 (11:15):
I think they're one of like the other ones that
I'm like, Okay, they're actually they actually might make it.

Speaker 1 (11:21):
Yeah, because they had sex.

Speaker 4 (11:24):
Yeah, well that the.

Speaker 5 (11:28):
Marriage.

Speaker 4 (11:29):
Yes, Can I just tell you? I think this whole
thing is so weird that they're like, like the therapist
comes in, like did you consummate it? Like how are
you guys feeling like that? When I Doug and I
had sex, we didn't like seek a therapist and nobody
else thought I was feeling afterwards, So I don't know
if it's weird. And then like some of them aren't

(11:51):
having sex and like that's weird, and the one guy
is saying like this you're moving to. I don't know,
it's just a very weird premise for me.

Speaker 5 (12:00):
Yeah. I was thinking about that too when I was
watching it. I was like, like, I just I don't know,
like I feel like with this show, they're like, oh
are you guys have s? And like again as a
gay man, and like night one, we're either fucking or
wasn't interested in you, So like I feel like my

(12:22):
opinion is a little irrelevant, but like I don't know,
I'm like day twenty two and you guys haven't even
like thought about having sex. That's unrealistic.

Speaker 4 (12:32):
So like you're not going to stay together then, right,
Like you're not having sex and honestly, like there's two
men on this show, so don't you like, isn't there
Like I mean, men's sex drive is higher than ies,
aren't than ours them, So it's we're like, that's something
that you're not thinking about, so you're not attracted a person,
or like you just don't want to or like I

(12:54):
just feel like it's just a very yeah, like Skylar
Set are very unrealistic.

Speaker 5 (12:59):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (12:59):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (13:00):
Anytime there's a man on there that doesn't want to
have sex with his wife, I think there's something wrong
with it. Not wrong with him, let me not say that,
because sometimes I think he's gay and obviously there's nothing
wrong with me. I'm like, that's not that's not what
I meant, But there's something going on. If you're not
interested or even thinking about having sex with your wife,

(13:21):
I'm just not attracted to, especially if she's ready to go.

Speaker 1 (13:25):
Yeah, because I'm like, Okay, let's do this.

Speaker 3 (13:28):
That's what I would be saying, all Right, we're not
there yet, We're not to It could also.

Speaker 2 (13:33):
Be like performance anxiety and non national television.

Speaker 1 (13:36):
Well they're not having sex on camera.

Speaker 5 (13:40):
We don't know.

Speaker 2 (13:42):
Stasha and Nate were pretty close in that.

Speaker 4 (13:44):
In the shower rights Ago the champaign. That's a wonderful
thing to like break the.

Speaker 2 (13:55):
Yes, they did a good job those two. Did you
see Jamie how he he got Thomas got his gold chain?

Speaker 1 (14:03):
I did was.

Speaker 3 (14:07):
Putting him up. Oh, She's like oh yeah, yeah, yeah.

Speaker 5 (14:12):
I mean I laughed because when they were in the store.
First off, he's adorable with he like puts on his
like jewelry, and he's like, I feel like famous. I
was like, oh baby. But then when she was like,
so what do you like do you like gold, rose gold,

(14:34):
white gold? He's like yeah, I like white. I was like,
I feel like producers made him say that.

Speaker 2 (14:47):
M yeah, I mean of course he feels famous. That
chain is probably worth a lot of money. Oh yeah,
it'll look good on him though.

Speaker 1 (14:56):
I look him.

Speaker 4 (14:57):
Yeah, I would join the show just for the chain.

Speaker 2 (15:02):
The producer should have bought him the chain.

Speaker 3 (15:05):
It's true, because because then she could have gotten the
ear rings. She could have gotten the whole ensemble. Yeah,
I just want to.

Speaker 5 (15:13):
Do we think because I know she's like, oh, I
don't think all of this is in our price range.
I was like, productions behind don't want.

Speaker 4 (15:23):
There is one weird thing to me though about the
whole like massage thing. Right when Doug got me a
massage people a few years ago for Valentine's Day, and
I think that was in his priority, like all massage, hair,
I'll bring up the champagne, we'll have sex. And I
was just really like, I just want the massage. In
the middle of the massage, when she's just like, oh, like,
should we like, should we stop playing around, I'm like, bitch,

(15:44):
get your massage for.

Speaker 2 (15:47):
Massage short, yes, enjoy this now.

Speaker 3 (15:51):
Well Camille's a freak though, yeah, she says, she's just
she's just a little bit under Rick j This is
what she said.

Speaker 2 (15:59):
Oh yeah, doctor party, she said that Wait wait she
said that.

Speaker 3 (16:04):
No, she didn't when she was when she was talking
to doctor P when doctor said.

Speaker 2 (16:09):
He was well, he was under Rick James as well.
He said he's not quite Rick James. But in the
after oh yeah, yeah, yeah, she likes a lot of it,
whips and chains and all that.

Speaker 5 (16:22):
Mm hmmm. I love it. The sweetenn Incent and then
she's like, tie me up, daddy.

Speaker 3 (16:30):
Listen, Thomas. Thomas is gonna get education because I bet
you he's having vanilla sex.

Speaker 1 (16:41):
Yeah, and she's gonna she's gonna give her.

Speaker 3 (16:43):
She's gonna she's gonna give him.

Speaker 5 (16:45):
Some they I feel like at the very beginning when
they were like coming up this season and like in
early episodes, and she was like, put the line in
your mouth and let me blindfold you.

Speaker 3 (16:59):
And I was like, oh, okay, all right, do we
have anything else about Camille and Thomas.

Speaker 2 (17:08):
No.

Speaker 5 (17:08):
For once though, they actually had an exciting storyline, so
that was fun.

Speaker 3 (17:12):
Yeah, they did. They did. It was awesome.

Speaker 1 (17:15):
Okay, So let's go to Juan and Carla.

Speaker 4 (17:19):
Well, clearly they're very interesting. We all are like, he
seems kind of like misogynistic.

Speaker 2 (17:28):
Yeah, how so what do you say? I tuned out that, honestly.

Speaker 4 (17:33):
I don't know. Maybe it was just for like the
next season or the next episode. I guess, I don't know,
but he's right, yeah, and he kind of just seems
like into himself. He doesn't really care about her. Another
couple where he's like, I'm just not there yet. I'm
not there yet. I'm like really, I mean, okay.

Speaker 2 (17:53):
So Jamie, does that mean there's something wrong with Wan?

Speaker 3 (17:56):
There's nothing wrong with him. He's in love with David.
That's the that's the problem.

Speaker 5 (18:01):
I called this episode one. I was like, one has
done gay stuff?

Speaker 3 (18:07):
Yeah, oh for sure, But.

Speaker 2 (18:11):
I mean, how can I be attracted to Carla? She's
really pretty because.

Speaker 5 (18:16):
She's fucking nuts?

Speaker 2 (18:18):
Yeah, well she is.

Speaker 5 (18:21):
Well, Like I will say when like these guys, are
you know anybody when they're like I'm not quite there yet.
Jumping back, I can understand that when they're on the
honeymoon and it's like day three of marriage. But I'm like,
you guys have been together at this point for twenty
plus days. Like yeah, in the grand scheme of life,
that's not a long time. But in a relationship, I

(18:44):
feel like twenty days is, you know, not an insignificant
amount of time, right, you're especially every single thing about
that person, but like I don't.

Speaker 1 (18:55):
Know, especially the amount of time that they spent together.

Speaker 2 (18:59):
Yeah, yeah, you're you're basically shooting twelve hour days at least, right, Yeah.

Speaker 5 (19:06):
And like for me again, gay man with very unhealthy
relationships throughout college. If I was with somebody for like
twenty days, like we were getting married, like, yeah, I
have known, Like that is a long ass relationship for me. Again,
we've had sex many times at that point. Yeah, and

(19:28):
we're still like interested in each other marriage.

Speaker 2 (19:32):
Yeah you should. I mean at that point, I feel
like you should know whether you're attracted to them or not.
It's like, what do you And he's also not able
to articulate what he needs. But I don't know. If
the shoe were on the other foot and it was
a woman saying she wasn't comfortable, she didn't feel safe
for whatever it is, I don't know. Then it is

(19:52):
kind of a double standard.

Speaker 3 (19:54):
It is. Yes, it is with our penis exactly. Yeah,
it's yeah, men are different. Testosterone is that's a powerful hormone.
Let me tell you something. First time I injected testosterone
in myself, I wanted to fuck everybody. Everybody everyone. Wow,

(20:18):
I didn't care what the fuck you looked like. I
don't care whatever. If you're willing to do it, I'm
gonna do it.

Speaker 4 (20:25):
That's actually an enormous insight into the men's safety right there.

Speaker 3 (20:29):
Actually yeah, I'm telling you that shit is for real, okay,
and so so so when teenagers, and I was in
my late twenties, when teenagers get that the testosterone, they
have no idea what the fuck to do with it,
you know, and and there and and they are going

(20:50):
to act on impulse.

Speaker 1 (20:51):
I at least was able to be somewhat.

Speaker 3 (20:54):
You know, I think somewhat. Well, no, because I am'm
telling you I want to fuck every but in.

Speaker 5 (21:03):
Sheets and the streets. I love it.

Speaker 2 (21:10):
I just sure an image of you, Jamie, just like
literally on the streets being like, hey you want to.

Speaker 4 (21:16):
Fuck bone and black.

Speaker 3 (21:23):
I was in I was in bars doing that.

Speaker 2 (21:26):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (21:26):
Yeah, it's okay. Most men are so yeah exactly.

Speaker 3 (21:31):
I mean yeah, it's a whole it's a whole nother thing.
That and the also accessing emotions when when I'm when
I have a high level testosterone, really I can't. I
can't cry like I can.

Speaker 2 (21:47):
Oh.

Speaker 1 (21:48):
Interesting, Yeah it takes a lot.

Speaker 3 (21:52):
Yeah, but I mean it's got to be really heart wrenching, right,
but just you know, just like regular you know, regular
things that are touched it's like yeah, whatever, okay, huh,
but what's the test saucerone kind, you know, and it's
you know, getting lower in my body than then. I
cried this morning. Oh well it was a good ass movie.

(22:17):
So I'm just laughing about it.

Speaker 2 (22:22):
What movie was it?

Speaker 3 (22:25):
No, it was. No, It's called six. It's called six
Triple eight. It is on Netflix. It is about the
first all female, all black battalion that served in Europe.

Speaker 5 (22:39):
Yes, I about this. I want to see it. It's
available already.

Speaker 3 (22:45):
Ye. I watched it this morning.

Speaker 5 (22:47):
I need to watch that.

Speaker 3 (22:49):
It's good record.

Speaker 5 (22:51):
And this episode is not brought to you.

Speaker 1 (22:54):
No, it is.

Speaker 3 (22:55):
It is.

Speaker 1 (22:56):
It is because Tyler Perry, Oprah Winfrey, they were all
in it.

Speaker 3 (23:00):
Carrie Washington, Tyler wasn't in it, Tyler Perry.

Speaker 1 (23:05):
It was filmed with Tyler Perry Studios.

Speaker 3 (23:08):
Sorry, Okay, I was like, but Oprah was in it,
Kary Washington was in its.

Speaker 5 (23:13):
Viola Davis, isn't it mm hmmm.

Speaker 3 (23:16):
No, love?

Speaker 2 (23:18):
Why doesn't Oprah act more?

Speaker 3 (23:21):
So goodn't know?

Speaker 1 (23:21):
Why shouldn't she produce my Harold Washington movie.

Speaker 2 (23:25):
Well you gotta keep trying, babe.

Speaker 1 (23:27):
Well I do keep trying to Viola Davis.

Speaker 5 (23:29):
Maybe she'll produce it.

Speaker 2 (23:31):
Yeah.

Speaker 5 (23:31):
I'm a huge Viola Davis fan.

Speaker 4 (23:34):
I had no idea the queen.

Speaker 5 (23:37):
She's an icon. Her memoir loved it. She's great.

Speaker 1 (23:42):
Honestly, she's phenomenal.

Speaker 5 (23:44):
I would marry her. Jonesy knows that. I told him
I was like Isla Davis. If she ever got divorced
and was like Skyler, let's get married, I'd be.

Speaker 1 (23:53):
Like, yes, listen, I would marry Jodie Foster in a heartbeat.

Speaker 5 (24:01):
I love it.

Speaker 3 (24:03):
Yes, I would. I wouldn't. Oh, I love Jodie Foster.

Speaker 1 (24:06):
I know she's a lesbian. I know, I know, but
I love her. Sometimes I'm attracted to lesbians. I don't know.

Speaker 5 (24:12):
Listen, we all have our thing like lesbians. I like
black women.

Speaker 3 (24:21):
We think of it was a black lesbian.

Speaker 4 (24:24):
What ell I'm learning a lot about everyone.

Speaker 2 (24:31):
Actuality is a spectrum.

Speaker 3 (24:34):
It is a spectrum. Yeah, okay, all right. So Wan
and Carlo they were that interesting this episode. They really were.

Speaker 2 (24:40):
I mean episode though.

Speaker 3 (24:42):
All I can said. Juan was riding his bike up
Michigan Avenue. I don't understand. There is no bike lane
on Michigan Avenue. Why are you riding your bike up
Michigan Avenue and fucking up traffic.

Speaker 5 (24:53):
The traffic too. I love how he's like, Oh, we're
just gonna go for a quick thirty mile bike ride,
and I was like, I'm not a biker, but thirty
miles does not sound quick.

Speaker 2 (25:07):
That's a lot. That's long.

Speaker 4 (25:09):
It is like three hours later.

Speaker 3 (25:12):
Yeah, yeah, yeah, because it probably was because he was
talking because it was like, what was it like one
o'clock in the afternoon, because Karla had just gotten up
or something.

Speaker 1 (25:20):
Of course he had to comment on that.

Speaker 3 (25:22):
Yep, she can.

Speaker 2 (25:25):
What did you think about the conversation about entrepreneurship. Entrepreneurship terrible,
that's a hard word to say.

Speaker 3 (25:36):
I mean, I don't know whatever it happened.

Speaker 2 (25:41):
Well, she quits her job the next one, so I'm
wondering which job she quit.

Speaker 4 (25:46):
If you have multiple jobs she does.

Speaker 3 (25:48):
Like she does.

Speaker 5 (25:49):
Yeah, she's a hairstylist. I think she's a sound bath engineer.
He does it all.

Speaker 1 (26:02):
Yeah, and a crystal cultivated Yes.

Speaker 4 (26:05):
She's exorcisms too or probably honestly, she has everything.

Speaker 2 (26:11):
She's very connected to the spiritual world. I did like though,
that she was so articulate when she described why she
needs affection though.

Speaker 5 (26:19):
Yes, yes, I was proud of our girl. She's opening up.
She said smart things.

Speaker 2 (26:27):
Very clear, and he just did not pick that up
at all. He was like, she like opened her heart,
she was very vulnerable, and he just like met.

Speaker 3 (26:36):
That with yeah.

Speaker 5 (26:38):
Absolute.

Speaker 3 (26:40):
Yeah.

Speaker 5 (26:40):
I also thought that was smart that she's like, this
is why I am the way I am, Like, here's
my family history. I was like, Okay, again, I thought
she was nuts. I mean, I still think she's nuts,
but there are certain moments where I'm like, good job, Carla.

Speaker 3 (26:55):
Yeah, has moments of clarity.

Speaker 5 (26:58):
And like, was great, it was great. I'm also glad
that we know now that her parents are immigrants, so
my theory that she doesn't actually know Spanish I tossed
that out the window.

Speaker 2 (27:14):
Well that's good. Yeah, I like, you know, I love Carla.
I'm like I would be in the Church of Carla
if she was a cult leader.

Speaker 3 (27:20):
So what do you mean.

Speaker 2 (27:24):
When when Carla does tell me when manifested, what do
I need to do manifest that? Yeah, money is just energy.
I'm like every day I remind myself that, especially when
I have none. I'm like, why do I have no energy?

(27:48):
That energy moving?

Speaker 3 (27:53):
Oh man?

Speaker 1 (27:54):
Okay, are we down with Carla? One?

Speaker 3 (27:57):
Yes? Okay, m m and.

Speaker 4 (28:01):
They're both like an aggressive couple. They're calling each other aggressive,
and I'm like, you guys are aggressive, Like one's passive
aggressive and apparently the other one is aggressive because she
wants to get laid.

Speaker 2 (28:15):
Yeah, yeah, okay, guys, what is a cag's deal? What
is his deal?

Speaker 5 (28:22):
He's a child? I just like, first off, doctor Pia
is my hero.

Speaker 2 (28:29):
He's great dealing with conflict head on.

Speaker 5 (28:33):
Just when they sat down and she's like, oh, are
you choosing not to sit next to your wife? I'm
choosing to take a seat. And she's like, whoa, what's
with the attitude. I don't have an attitude. I was like,
you are a fucking asshole. You're an aggressive piece of shit,
and I don't like yo.

Speaker 4 (28:54):
I just don't like him.

Speaker 2 (28:55):
I was like, you, there's something so inauthentic about him
that I can't put my finger on.

Speaker 3 (29:02):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (29:02):
Maybe he's like got childish, childish attitude, but he's just
playing all kinds of games. I don't know what he's doing, maam.

Speaker 3 (29:13):
And doctor Bea was all like, could we not be
passive aggressive?

Speaker 1 (29:18):
I mean she just called him out. Can we not
be passive aggressive?

Speaker 3 (29:21):
Yeah?

Speaker 4 (29:22):
Or mm?

Speaker 2 (29:23):
I felt bad for her.

Speaker 5 (29:25):
Well, because I also feel like, I mean, okay, we
obviously were not there when any of these things happened,
so like I don't know what really happened, of course,
but I do feel like it was a very I
mean doctor P even said it too, where it's like

(29:46):
she's like, this is a big accusation, so big, let's
talk about this.

Speaker 2 (29:52):
She just sat there and took that accusation and yes,
of course we're not there. And you know, if it
was like you said, if she was on the their foot,
like and a spouse was saying that they felt violated,
you would want to take them seriously. But then again,
he totally walked it back that he you know, he
basically said that she was like, I mean, it's almost

(30:17):
like assaulting him, you know, like that, you know, and
then he said, no, that's on it. And then on
on after party you heard what he said, right, because
he was on after party and they said, like you
you basically said that she violated your consent and he goes,
I didn't say that. I just agreed to it.

Speaker 4 (30:36):
It's like, even after the conversation he was like, I
think to her, he was like, well, I didn't say that.
I said this, that, and the other thing. I'm like, no,
that's what you say. My favorite part of the two
favorite parts of the episode this this was one of them.
Went because when she's like, are you saying that she
violated your consent and did it like all these things,

(30:56):
and he goes, that's what I said. No, bitch, you did.
You did not say that at all.

Speaker 2 (31:04):
But then he said yes. So essentially then you walked
it back and said you didn't say it, but you
agreed to it, so that you you kind of did
say it. Was very confusing, very confusing.

Speaker 4 (31:17):
And we all like, for me, everything's about me. For me,
feel bad for me. I'm in a horrible loveless marriage
for me.

Speaker 1 (31:26):
We also found out that he put her hand on
his penis.

Speaker 5 (31:30):
Yes, And that's the other thing too that I was like, well,
because she even said she's like, you know, I didn't
agree to that, but I was like, Okay, I guess
if that's what we're doing, great, I don't know.

Speaker 3 (31:43):
Which is what women do all the time, and this
is why men continue to do shit like that.

Speaker 2 (31:48):
Women do what all the time?

Speaker 3 (31:50):
Give you know, instead of fighting, they give in sometimes know, Oh, okay,
you know what I mean, I mean, it happens all
the time.

Speaker 2 (32:01):
I mean, because she didn't know what to do or say.

Speaker 1 (32:05):
I mean, well, that's what I'm saying.

Speaker 3 (32:06):
She didn't know what to do or say, so she
just went with what he did. And that's all what
I'm saying is women do that all the time. Yeah,
they feel like they have to do that all the time.

Speaker 5 (32:18):
Also put her in an uncomfortable situation because it's like
that was while they were on the bus with the
other couples, and she's not going to make a scene
in front of these people that she just met as well. Right, basically,
bottom line, get consent, make sure things are consented to

(32:41):
and yeah, yeah, and don't be passive aggressive to doctor Pierre.

Speaker 1 (32:48):
Exactly not playing.

Speaker 2 (32:50):
She is not.

Speaker 5 (32:51):
Playing, no, And she knows that he's just there to
do his music producing or whatever whatever he's actually there for.

Speaker 3 (33:01):
Yeah, because yeah, because there's no reason for him not
to not to want mm because.

Speaker 5 (33:09):
No, I want She's beautiful again, as previously stated, successful,
she's successful, Like I've gone a date with her.

Speaker 2 (33:22):
Although I thought she was a nurse practitioner and now
she's shooting bothtoks in people's faces. I mean, I know
she is, but like it's like, oh, I thought you were.
I didn't realize she was that kind of nurse practitioner
she's gonna make. That's why she got so much.

Speaker 3 (33:41):
Yeah, because she's making Yeah because she Yeah, she's not
injecting people with testaterone. She's injecting them with botox.

Speaker 2 (33:51):
A little wrinkle release, muscle release. Yeah.

Speaker 3 (33:56):
Yeah, that's where the money is.

Speaker 5 (33:59):
Which David needs some of that botox. But I'm getting
ahead of myself.

Speaker 2 (34:07):
Well, there's some real drama coming up with MM and Akchi,
and I'm just gonna say though, at least they're providing
us with some decent.

Speaker 3 (34:15):
Television, which the producers knew was going to happen. Yeah,
they almost fooled us. And they're thinking they were going
to be this really chill couple that you know that's
getting along so well, not so fast.

Speaker 2 (34:29):
Here's the thing. I never trust somebody who talks about
the kind of person that they are. Yeah, that's something
I've always maybe it's just from teaching acting all these years,
but like whenever someone's like I'm the kind of person
that's like this, I'm like, really though, Like he's like,
I am a chill person I'm the kind of person

(34:50):
that's chill. I don't believe it for one second.

Speaker 4 (34:54):
That's like when people say they're great tippers, they're not.

Speaker 2 (34:57):
Ye it a god, you're liars, I guess. So whenever
you generalize about yourself, it's usually a lie.

Speaker 5 (35:10):
I will say this about a catchy too. Not that
I've gone down a rabbit hole or anything, but people
on Reddit think that he could be a producer plant.

Speaker 3 (35:23):
Really, really, it would make sense considering he had tried
out for Houston before and now he's he's in Chicago
and makes it on the show.

Speaker 5 (35:35):
I mean, could have been like, come up to Chicago.

Speaker 2 (35:40):
Uhh, you're you're just that awful. Let's put him on
the show.

Speaker 3 (35:47):
Let's remember Chris from I don't even remember where what
season it was, the guy who had his ex girlfriend
was pregnant, He bought her a Mercedes.

Speaker 1 (36:02):
During the eight weeks.

Speaker 3 (36:05):
Eight weeks he did all of this, So I like,
I have no idea why they put him on the
show either, but he may have been I mean, look
at all the drama.

Speaker 2 (36:17):
That poor page.

Speaker 6 (36:19):
God.

Speaker 3 (36:20):
Yeah, but what if they're doing this to m M.

Speaker 1 (36:23):
That would be terrible.

Speaker 3 (36:24):
Why would you do that to me.

Speaker 2 (36:26):
Don't you think that they have to be if they
if they are a plant, don't you think the person
has to be in on it or not? Do you
think they're just it's like what like he's in on
it or she's well both. Don't you think they would know?
Kind of you.

Speaker 5 (36:43):
Would know, but she would definitely not.

Speaker 2 (36:45):
She would not. They're just like punkin or basically yeah.

Speaker 5 (36:50):
And that's why reality TV shows have therapists for.

Speaker 3 (36:58):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (36:59):
Yeah, I just still like him.

Speaker 5 (37:01):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (37:01):
I can't wait for next next episode though. Is it
next week or are they skipping one.

Speaker 3 (37:06):
Because they're skipping two weeks. The next episode isn't until
January seventh.

Speaker 2 (37:11):
Man, Okay, so they're playing that clip where she says,
you bring your clown, you bring me a clown, You're
going to get a service.

Speaker 1 (37:18):
I love it.

Speaker 3 (37:20):
Here for it, Yeah I could.

Speaker 2 (37:24):
I want to see that preview on repeat like every
day twenty four to seven until January seventh.

Speaker 3 (37:32):
Yeah, yeah, yeah, that's gonna be. That's gonna be a
good one. I hope it's I mean it may not
even be the next episode. Oh right, it may not
because they keep putting, you know, like things that are
further out and you're waiting for, which is why they
do it.

Speaker 1 (37:48):
Exactly what they do.

Speaker 2 (37:48):
This is the infidelity going to happen. Why I'm af
married at first sight? History common? Yeah, yeah, it's not
this episode, So I digress.

Speaker 3 (37:58):
Yes, I know. Yeah, we're getting out of ourselves again. Okay,
and ek are we done with them?

Speaker 1 (38:04):
Okay? All right, So Michelle and David is our final couple?

Speaker 4 (38:12):
Yes, Elle, I she I mean, okay, I understand that
she They don't know each other, so it's like a
tough thing to like somebody chose somebody for you, but
like damn, she likes to just drag him through the
mud like he's he basically is constantly saying like he's

(38:33):
not good enough. I don't know. And then like she
hung out with his friends and they're like what can
he do to kind of like make it work? And
she's like, I don't know, I don't know, like and
then is it the man bunch? She's like, no comment.
I'm like he's sitting right there.

Speaker 2 (38:51):
So mean, yeah, she's like an unattractive man either, you know, he's.

Speaker 3 (39:01):
Oh, he's a good looking guy.

Speaker 4 (39:03):
I mean I don't like the money either, but you know,
I'm not married to him.

Speaker 2 (39:06):
So, yeah, I don't know.

Speaker 3 (39:08):
I mean, yeah, I don't like the man. I don't
like the man book.

Speaker 5 (39:12):
He just looks slappy. I'm sorry. I Our taste in
men very different, I I do.

Speaker 2 (39:20):
That's what she's really reacting to, is what you think, right?

Speaker 5 (39:23):
Well I think that, and I think the problem not
the problem, but I think the thing with her is
like she at this point is just like she knows
that she's not into it. But I'm sure that it's
like they get paid X amount of money for every
week that they're on I'm sure yeah, And so she's
probably like, I am not at all interested in this man,

(39:44):
but I need a paycheck because I mean, like she
hasn't been into it since literally night one when she
found out that, you know, he lives at home by choice,
and I mean, she just doesn't want to. She just

(40:04):
doesn't want to do it, and like, I don't know,
I just I did laugh at the Bowling Alley when
his friend was like, I'm just shocked that you're not
head over heels.

Speaker 3 (40:15):
For him, and I was like, head over heel.

Speaker 2 (40:21):
Wants a guy. She really wants a guy with money.

Speaker 3 (40:24):
Yes, she does. That's exactly what a dart and bowling leave.

Speaker 2 (40:29):
Why didn't she just say that then when she was being.

Speaker 3 (40:31):
Cast exactly because she wanted to be on the show. Yes,
and and here's the thing again, because uh, doctor p
is the one who interviewed her about. Doctor Pian knew
exactly what what Michelle was about. Doctor Pian knew she
was materialistic, she knew she wanted a dude with with
some money, and still put her with David.

Speaker 4 (40:54):
Yeah. Just if you want that, we're going to give
you the opposite. We're not going to give you like
it's not a no show.

Speaker 3 (41:00):
Yeah. Yeah. Well she and I'll tell you it hurt
my heart because that was a big contention in my marriage,
was the lack of funds that I had, So I
didn't have enough money to do this and do that.
And I was like, well, I mean I'm doing everything

(41:22):
I can. But you know you knew that when you
married me, so you knew I didn't have money.

Speaker 2 (41:30):
Yeah, but Michelle didn't know.

Speaker 3 (41:31):
And Michelle didn't know. But what she said was when
doctor Piah asked about how he could provide for or
for whatever she said, and doctor Pia said financially, and
she was like, well, how else would he provide for me,
and she's like, by caring for you, by showing up
you I mean, but it's like, oh I got you,
Now you want money. She's not into David at all.

(41:54):
She's literally just there for the airtime, you know, FaceTime
on teav and the paycheck. That's all she's there for.
And she's gonna write it out, she's gonna get she's
gonna try. She wants to dip out now, Oh.

Speaker 5 (42:07):
Yeah, she wanted to dip out on the honeymoon.

Speaker 3 (42:09):
Yeah. Yeah.

Speaker 2 (42:11):
They can't be paying them that much, though I don't
think they do. They pay them. We need to get
a producer on here, because I feel like you don't
pay them that much if anything. Unless she thinks it's
to like Instagram followers and some type of fame.

Speaker 5 (42:25):
And that regard, I think there's a couple different things
going on, because, like I know, Big Brother a few
years ago, it's like people were getting like I think,
like fifteen hundred a week to be like every week
that you were on, in addition to what other cash
prizes you.

Speaker 2 (42:40):
Can post our pay or whatever.

Speaker 5 (42:42):
Yeah, so I don't obviously know what they're making on this,
but I'm sure that it's like a little chunk of change.
And then her hope is exactly Instagram followers companies being like,
we will pay you X amount of money to post
about you know, are amazing sunglasses. So I'm sure that
she's wanting all of those things.

Speaker 2 (43:01):
You should do better.

Speaker 3 (43:05):
Well, she's not an actor, though I know an actor.
We would never know he's.

Speaker 4 (43:12):
Not an actor because you can read it all over
her face. Can he change? Wow? Well, you know, and
I'm like his looks. She does not like him, I know,
I know.

Speaker 2 (43:24):
I love how expressive she is, like honestly when she's
like and she's got such an anxiety disorder, so I
totally get it because I do too. But like I'm
sitting her going like and I also, I gotta I
gotta say, I love doctor Pia talking about anxiety. But
I think that Michelle when she's what's playing in her
head are reruns of Roseanne. That's her life is gonna become.

(43:50):
It's gonna look exactly like that. Right he's done Goodwin,
And she's like, may I say a way to a
man's heart is through his stomach. I think it's through
his heart.

Speaker 5 (44:04):
I think that this visit with doctor Pia. I think
it was my favorite. It was the most relatable because
she did call Michelle out with her anxiety. But then
she also was like, you know, is this like a
realistic fear or is this just like something that like

(44:27):
you're assuming is gonna happen. She's like, no, like it's real,
it's based in reality. And she goes, how is it
based in reality? She's like, because it's just what I'm
expecting to happen. And I was like, listen to what
you just said. It's not based in reality. It's what
you are expecting to happen. That's not reality. So that
was relatable, and I also loved, loved, loved, loved how

(44:49):
she's like, let's reframe this relationship instead of oh man,
this man is a failure. Maybe look at it as like, wow,
I can introduce him to like really excit writing cool
things like I was introduced to by my friends when
I was first starting out. I was like, that is
so genius, so great. I loved it. I feel like

(45:12):
it was the most relatable advice on the show.

Speaker 2 (45:16):
But she's not taking it, but it is no, yeah,
not at all.

Speaker 4 (45:20):
Because he doesn't want it.

Speaker 6 (45:22):
You know, she wants someone else to introduce her to
the finer things in life, not for her to introduce
you know, what's the guy's name, Dan from Roseanne?

Speaker 3 (45:34):
Well, no, that is yeah, because she worked hard to
get where she is, to get out of the small
town that she was in, and now she wants somebody
to take care of her.

Speaker 2 (45:49):
He definitely gives like small blue town, blue collar Chicago.

Speaker 4 (45:54):
Yeah it helps.

Speaker 2 (45:58):
Yeah.

Speaker 5 (45:58):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (46:00):
He prefers to live at home. Yeah, it's Roseam, but
it's in the basement of his house. That's where I
have to say that Scaler, like really just like piggybacking
on what you said, Like I wrote down doctor Pea's quote.
She goes, your feelings are based in lies, They're not
based in facts. That's the hallmark of anxiety. And I

(46:20):
was like, yes, that was so clear the way she
phrased it like that.

Speaker 3 (46:27):
Yeah, and someone with.

Speaker 2 (46:29):
Multiple anxiety disorders. I was like, I'm gonna hold on
to that one and remind myself whenever I start to
spiral that. Like you know, feelings oftentimes, especially with anxiety,
are based and pure lize, there's no fact to them.

Speaker 5 (46:43):
What one thousand percent. This is why I love doctor
Pierre because fucking doctor Pepper and Pastor Cow would be like, well,
maybe you should just kiss him and wear some heels
and be pretty and then you'll love it, whereas doctor
Pea is like, no, get rid of the outdated, an
old bag and let me tell you the real advice. Yeah.

Speaker 4 (47:03):
Yeah, but when she's saying I'm this, she's expecting this
to happen. That's because that's what you want to happen.
You want to be done with them. Do you want
to be out of there?

Speaker 3 (47:12):
Oh?

Speaker 4 (47:12):
Do you guys remember when she's like, let's replay the
clips and see what you guys asked for.

Speaker 2 (47:18):
Yeah?

Speaker 4 (47:19):
That was like I was like, oh bitch, you're in
trouble now.

Speaker 2 (47:22):
Oh yeah. Also, they didn't. They didn't play too like
she basically described him to a tea because she also
said that she was interested in a light skinned black
man too, So they like really did give her exactly
what she was describing.

Speaker 3 (47:36):
Yeah, because she didn't answer honestly right. If she'd answered
the questions truthfully, they well, they probably still would have.

Speaker 4 (47:46):
But even remember David, He's like, that's me to a.

Speaker 1 (47:49):
T Yeah, yes it really is.

Speaker 2 (47:54):
Yeah, you're right, she didn't. She was lying they're going
to catch you if you lie.

Speaker 4 (47:59):
Yeah, he is the look of sheer terror. When they
said she was going to play the clip, she was like,
oh no, I do love it.

Speaker 2 (48:07):
Everything shows on her face, including her fight or flight
responds to everything.

Speaker 5 (48:13):
Yeah, And speaking of things showing on your face, I
wrote down at one point because when she was like
ragging on David and they cut aside to him, I
was like, that man looks like he has aged twenty
years in this, Like he was looking real rough at
the bowling alley. I was like, I was like, she

(48:36):
has aged this man, and then they started to feel
bad for him. For him, I just listen. I'm not
a huge David fan, but like I do feel bad
for this situation that he's in because like she is
really cruel to him, and like I do think that
he does actually try, because I believe that he went
into this actually believing like I'm gonna be married now

(48:56):
and like this is a real process and I'm gonna
have a and it's going to be great, and he
like does try to like respect her boundaries and like
listen to her and like, yeah, he can be overbearing,
but like she also just literally isn't into him, and
he just I don't think wants to see that.

Speaker 4 (49:14):
They're the only couple that doesn't live together too, right.

Speaker 2 (49:17):
They do. They just have separate rooms. Oh yeah, so yeah,
they're not staying in the same room and see each
other because they have different opposite schedules, Like he works
like she works like nine to five and he works
like two to ten or something like that.

Speaker 3 (49:32):
So they're just like ships the pass and the night's like.

Speaker 4 (49:37):
So hard we don't see each other. But really she's like,
it's so good we don't see each mother.

Speaker 2 (49:45):
Oh my god.

Speaker 3 (49:45):
Okay, do you have anything else about Michelle and David.

Speaker 2 (49:49):
Oh, she's got the brow woman back, the brow lady's
back though. I did like that brow lady, her brow ladies.

Speaker 4 (49:56):
Yeah, she cook for David, though, fucking browperson. She goes,
let me get the weed whacker.

Speaker 3 (50:06):
That was hilarious.

Speaker 5 (50:08):
Listen, I said, step one, eyebrow, step two, hair, step three,
everything else, step four, move out of the basement on
his way.

Speaker 2 (50:18):
Clearly, when we're watching the after party, he still got
the hair, but he is pulling it back a little
bit more.

Speaker 1 (50:25):
Do you think he looked thinner on after party?

Speaker 2 (50:29):
I don't know.

Speaker 1 (50:30):
I mean, he looks like he's lost some weight.

Speaker 4 (50:32):
Dressed, like, what is this?

Speaker 6 (50:39):
You know?

Speaker 1 (50:39):
Like, I don't know.

Speaker 5 (50:41):
I just it's a fashion statement.

Speaker 4 (50:45):
It's a statement.

Speaker 2 (50:48):
Oh, they're just not good for each other at all.

Speaker 4 (50:53):
What put David.

Speaker 5 (50:55):
With m m oh oh no no, oh no part
of place?

Speaker 2 (51:03):
Well, no, I don't know who is responsible for the infidelity.
I felt like, yeah, that would be something.

Speaker 5 (51:15):
I'm telling you I wanted David.

Speaker 2 (51:16):
Oh my gosh, please let it.

Speaker 3 (51:19):
Wouldn't that be? Oh my god?

Speaker 5 (51:21):
And then they're like, well, now that we had our
first unofficial gay couple, we can have real gay couples
on married person Yeah.

Speaker 4 (51:28):
Please, much more entertaining than the straight couples.

Speaker 3 (51:34):
They are.

Speaker 2 (51:34):
The other countries have them, the other married at first sight.

Speaker 3 (51:40):
Do you remember Thomas? Oh yeah, yeah, in an adult.

Speaker 2 (51:52):
Thomas is always sorry. I love Thomas like a scouser.

Speaker 3 (51:56):
Just starting.

Speaker 5 (51:59):
I will volunteer, Jonesy, I'm sure will give me permission.
I will be and I can bring the drama, because
then they'll find out that I'm actually already married.

Speaker 1 (52:10):
Yes, perfect, It'll be like I.

Speaker 5 (52:12):
Just and then I'll be like open marriages, and then
I'll start a whole new phase of Meredith first sight.

Speaker 3 (52:21):
I love it.

Speaker 4 (52:22):
There we go.

Speaker 5 (52:23):
That's my plan, five year plan.

Speaker 3 (52:26):
Okay, okay, anything else about Michelle and David. I'm just
going to uh mention for summer's sake. You know, they
were at Waveland Bowl.

Speaker 2 (52:40):
Yes they were. I knew say that.

Speaker 3 (52:42):
Jamie, Yeah, because I wondered why they didn't go to
the Cosmic bull at Diversity Bowl.

Speaker 2 (52:47):
Oh yeah, dis yeah. Yeah. Anyway, this episode brought to
you by Waveland Bowl.

Speaker 3 (52:55):
Yes, and or Diversity Bowl and yeah, the Cosmic Bowling Yeah.

Speaker 1 (53:01):
Okay.

Speaker 3 (53:02):
Anyway, So now we come to the part of the
episode where we get our guest predictions on whether or
not these couples are going to make it. So, since
this is Elle's first time seeing the show, I'm just
going to just briefly explain to you how it works.
So these couples they met for the very first time
on their wedding day, they got married, and now they

(53:25):
have eight weeks to decide whether or not they want
to stay married or get a divorce. So at the
end of the eight weeks, they go in front of
the experts and they say, yes, I want to stay married,
or no, I want to get a divorce. And if
one says yes and the other says no, they get
a divorce. So with that information, what do you think
about Madison and Allen? Will they say yes on decision Day?

Speaker 4 (53:46):
Well, if you watch the way he was so carelessly
leaving handles on the couch, I don't think either of
them will make it out alive. God's hilarious when he
was setting the room and he was like, you know,
it's on a couch, so they could be sideways, and

(54:06):
I'm like, oh no, oh no, but.

Speaker 3 (54:11):
So is that is that a no?

Speaker 4 (54:14):
Yeah? I honestly no.

Speaker 3 (54:18):
No, Okay, Camille and Thomas, yeah, okay, Juan and Carla
absolutely not, m m Andy KG hell no, and then
Michelle and David definitely not.

Speaker 2 (54:35):
She's very decisive.

Speaker 1 (54:37):
I like this, Yeah I do.

Speaker 3 (54:38):
I do. I thought you were because you said hell
no for mmm KG, I thought you were no.

Speaker 1 (54:43):
Oh fuck no. For David and Michelle.

Speaker 4 (54:47):
I think like the only person I was on the
fence about was Alan mm hmmmm. I'm like, I don't know,
like he kind of seems like to be she might
be putting in the work, and then he is just
kind of like a hot girl married to me, Like
I'll do whatever, you know. So for them, I'm like maybe,
but I don't know, I don't it doesn't really seem

(55:07):
like she's into him.

Speaker 2 (55:08):
So yeah, yeah, okay, Okay, So now I have to
ask you the most important question, el, and that is
will you continue to watch married at first sight?

Speaker 4 (55:21):
Maybe? Yeah, but like it would have to be like
I'm really bored. I'm like, I don't have anything to do.
What can I do? Okay, if they're not married at
first sight or something, you know, because quite honestly, I
think these people are crazy.

Speaker 2 (55:40):
I'll take it.

Speaker 4 (55:41):
Yeah, you have to like walk around, Oh, if you're
you know, you meet somebody else. If you've been married before, yeah,
you have to tell them like that you were married
for it. Now you're divorced because you decided to yeah,
somebody on the way of your wife. Like, it's just
what is wrong with you people?

Speaker 5 (55:56):
I just I mean some people would be like, oh
my god, you unmarried at first sight. They would be like,
let's get married because of that. But they'd be like, well,
I mean I have to at least go on a
date with this person, for sure. Eight hundred questions for sure.

Speaker 4 (56:09):
Yeah. I feel like maybe outside of LA they would
definitely be like, Oh, you're on TV. That's so cool.
I want to date you in LA. They'd be like, ew,
why it is premise, But.

Speaker 5 (56:28):
I was like, to be fair, they could all stay
married to these people and then they never have to
date again.

Speaker 4 (56:36):
I don't know, but then they'll never get laid again either.

Speaker 2 (56:39):
So no, God, you have to live in David's basement
and play off the Roseanne series seven seasons.

Speaker 3 (56:48):
So Elle, do you have anything to plug? This will
be coming out on Wednesday, Christmas Morning, so anything after
that there's a lot of.

Speaker 2 (56:58):
People tuning in on Christmas more morning.

Speaker 5 (57:02):
You never know, listen.

Speaker 4 (57:04):
They may need on Christmas morning.

Speaker 1 (57:07):
They may need a break from their racist uncle.

Speaker 5 (57:12):
Not everybody celebrates Christmas summer.

Speaker 2 (57:15):
It's true, that's what do you mean?

Speaker 4 (57:19):
Do I have anything to plug?

Speaker 2 (57:21):
Any shows?

Speaker 1 (57:22):
Any shows?

Speaker 4 (57:22):
Oh?

Speaker 1 (57:24):
I don't not.

Speaker 3 (57:25):
Like not like your butt or anything like that. I
don't want you to plug your butt.

Speaker 4 (57:32):
Damn it, you knew exactly what I meant.

Speaker 3 (57:35):
I'm here.

Speaker 4 (57:38):
Honestly like you guys, getting me out of my comfort zone.
Having to watch something was I mean, it was funny,
it was interesting. I was laughing. Everybody at work was like,
what the hell are you watching?

Speaker 5 (57:49):
Now?

Speaker 2 (57:50):
Does anybody on at work want to be guests on
our show?

Speaker 4 (57:55):
I'm sure they would have seen.

Speaker 2 (57:57):
It yet and doesn't know the concept.

Speaker 4 (58:00):
They yeah, all the boys were like kind of because
I don't work with a lot of females. They were
work with a lot of guys, and they would like
peer over at the end of like, what the hell
are you watching? I'm like, oh, these people like meet
each other for the first time on their wedding day
and they're like what and like yeah, some of these
couples like don't even want to have sex what?

Speaker 1 (58:23):
So that's good. That is good.

Speaker 3 (58:29):
So you have no shows coming up or anything. I mean,
you're doing thirty minutes in January, January ninth, is that
the date?

Speaker 4 (58:36):
Uh, January ninth.

Speaker 3 (58:37):
Yeah?

Speaker 4 (58:38):
And then actually Lauren, yeah, yeah, thank you.

Speaker 1 (58:41):
Summer twenty minutes right, Oh yeah, I'm sorry.

Speaker 4 (58:45):
I haven't had coffee today, so just work their words
to me. At this point, I'm doing twenty minutes on
January ninth. And then actually, Lauren Computo put me in
touch with somebody that she does mob comics with, so
I totally regret. I will be at the ice House
on January tenth in Pasadena.

Speaker 3 (59:05):
Awesome.

Speaker 2 (59:06):
She doesn't even know that she's got these amazing shows
coming up her tour schedule. Jamie, done your research.

Speaker 1 (59:15):
I'm her, I'm her publicist.

Speaker 4 (59:19):
Tired. I do very much feel like well, on this day,
I feel like I'm at the end of like a
talk show, you know, like on like Ellen or something.
And yeah, guys, actually on this day I have this
and this.

Speaker 2 (59:29):
Yeah, you do you.

Speaker 3 (59:31):
Yes, that's exactly what it's like.

Speaker 2 (59:34):
Yeah, and pretty soon you'll be on the tonight show.

Speaker 4 (59:38):
Just wait. You can purchase comics. You can purchase tickets
for the ice House through mob Comics.

Speaker 2 (59:45):
Great. Love it cool, so cool, all these East Coast
comedians on the West Coast.

Speaker 4 (59:51):
I know, because we're not built for the cold.

Speaker 3 (59:58):

Speaker 2 (01:00:01):

wants to films is expensive. If you want to donate
to my fund raising campaign, please do you get a
tax right off letter.

Speaker 3 (01:00:21):

Speaker 2 (01:00:25):

Speaker 1 (01:00:29):
