I'm your host, and as always,I'm joined by Joanie.
Hi.
So this week's episode, might bea little short.

(00:47):
There's not a lot of news goingon, but there is something, That
happened with the Disney cruiseline..
But we will get into all that.
And also this week we're goingto be dropping a surprise growth
chart, poster giveaway.

Joni (01:00):
Mm-hmm.

Nick (01:00):
We said we would be,

Joni (01:01):
Randomly, randomly,

Nick (01:03):
week to week.
And I think we're gonna do ittoday.
So Joanie, get your wheel ready.

Joni (01:08):
Oh, oh already.

Nick (01:10):
No, no, no.
Not right now.
But I'm just saying, get itready for,

Joni (01:13):
gimme a minute to get it there

Nick (01:14):
when the time comes.
Yeah.

Joni (01:15):
Okay.

Nick (01:16):
Like I said, not a lot of news, but Disney Cruise line has
something that was unfortunate, but, I guess things like this
happened, but we'll get intothat.
Don't forget this holidayseason, you can still save up to
20% on select Disney Resortstays.
Hmm.

Joni (01:30):
Mm.

Nick (01:30):
Plus when you book a room and ticket package with a four
day or longer ticket, you'll geta Disney shopping and promo card
worth up to$100, and the cardbreaks down as if you are in a
value.
It's a$50 card at a moderate$75card.
And at a deluxe or a deluxevilla, it's a hundred dollars
card.
So get ahold of me and we cansee what availability is left,

(01:52):
but they are getting kind ofscarce, so

Joni (01:54):
kind of card?

Nick (01:56):
it's a, shopping and dining promo

Joni (01:58):
it's not like a use anywhere MasterCard or

Nick (02:00):
no, no, no, no, no.
Did I say gift card?
No.
Okay, I just

Joni (02:03):
just

Nick (02:04):
No, no, no.
Um, it's a dining, Disney Diningand shopping promo card.
Okay.
So it, so it's d Disney merch.
Disney food.
Okay.
Yeah.
So,

Joni (02:12):
Anything helps with a trip.

Nick (02:14):
Exactly.
So yeah, get ahold of me and wecan see what's available left
there.
Okay.
And if you do like our podcast, make sure you rate us in your
podcast app and subscribe, andyou can get notified when, when
new episodes drop.
Woo-hoo.
Every Monday.
So, are we ready to get into thenews?

Joni (02:30):
I am

Nick (02:31):
starting a magic kingdom,

Joni (02:32):
wanna know what's going on

Nick (02:34):
According to the Walt Disney World website, the
opening night of Mickey's verymerry Christmas party is now
sold out.
So the opening night is November7th and it's unavailable for
purchase.

Joni (02:47):
Mm-hmm.

Nick (02:48):
And for the not so scary Halloween party, there are only
three days left available.
September 28th, September 30th,and October 26th are the only
days left where you can getthose tickets.

Joni (03:02):
Wow.

Nick (03:04):
Yep.
And over at Epcot.

Joni (03:05):
That seems like it went fast.
I can't

Nick (03:07):
it did.
I know.
And, but it's, you know, it's,it's today's September 14th, so
I,

Joni (03:13):
I think it's just my personal life is just going so
fast that everything else justseems quick as well.

Nick (03:18):
That reminds me, we,

Joni (03:19):
we, we have been actually talking about these holiday
tickets for quite

Nick (03:23):
a while.
It's been a while

Joni (03:24):
have everybody kind of a heads up and a forewarning.
Yeah.

Nick (03:28):
Um, that just reminded me when you said that we were
watching, uh, grumpy Old Menyesterday and, and his dad says,
you know, he's 95 years old orwhatever.
He said the first 90 years go bypretty fast.

Joni (03:39):
Yeah, they do.

Nick (03:40):
just reminded me of that.
Over at Epcot for Guardians ofthe Galaxy, they're continuing
their, September 21stcelebration.
So what they do, I think this isthe third year in a row, they've
done it all day on September21st, guardians of Galaxy,
they're playing September.
So that's the only song you'regonna get on September 21st.

(04:01):
They usually rotate between sixrandom songs, and I still have
not gotten tears for fears, andevery time we go on it, I want
tears for fears, and we've nevergotten it.

Joni (04:10):
which we've, what, which ones have we

Nick (04:12):
we have gotten, uh, one layer or another by Blondie?
Um, I wore my sunglasses atnight.
I think we got that twice, if Iremember right.
Those two for sure.
But I think we got one of themtwice.
And I think as I wear mysunglasses at night,

Joni (04:29):
Those are the only two we've gotten outta six.

Nick (04:31):
Yes or no, I'm not.
I'm sorry not.
I wear my sunglasses at night.
The song I run so Far Away, that's what it is.

Joni (04:39):
and I run,

Nick (04:40):
That song, I think we've gotten that

Joni (04:42):
so far away.
Every time

Nick (04:43):
and every time we get on the cart, I'm like, I look at
Jonie, I say, okay.
Tears for Fierce.
Yeah,

Joni (04:49):
That's because you just need to quit saying it.
You just need to sayDescendants.
Hop

Nick (04:53):
on the ride.

Joni (04:53):
right

Nick (04:55):
And over at Animal Kingdom, the entrance sign for
the new Zootopia.
Better together.
Is installed, but it is covered.

Joni (05:05):
Oh, we don't even know what it looks like.
Bummer.
I was just gonna say, send me apic.

Nick (05:09):
Well, I saw a pic and it's a scaffolding around it and
there's a big black tarp

Joni (05:13):
there.

Nick (05:13):
Oh.
So, uh,

Joni (05:14):
so

Nick (05:14):
so yeah, that is opening soon.

Joni (05:17):
Okay.

Nick (05:19):
And in miscellaneous news, Disney's Blizzard Beach Water
Park has now closed for itsseasonal refurbishment and not a
reopening date has not beenannounced, so that's normal.

Joni (05:30):
anybody with any stays and they get their free water park,
it's um,

Nick (05:34):
gonna be Typhoon Lagoon

Joni (05:35):
Typhoon Lagoon.
Typhoon Lagoon.
Is it kiddos?

Nick (05:37):
Yep.
Just, make sure you know, ifyou're going in the next couple
months, check your app or, youknow, see which one is available
for your free water

Joni (05:46):
Well, do they plan to close the typhoon once Blizzard
beach opens back up?

Nick (05:50):
They usually do.
This year they had both open atthe same time and they had not
had that done.
They had not done that in awhile.

Joni (05:56):
Well.
I wonder if they'll justsimultaneously like close one
right after the

Nick (05:59):
other.
Yeah, that's kind

Joni (06:00):
So yeah, everybody's gonna wanna check, right?
Make sure you don't go to theone with the yellow tape or the
orange netting fence around it.

Nick (06:08):
And Disney Plus is currently running a sweepstakes
for subscribers to enter for achance to win a Disney World

This will include tickets, airfare, ground transportation,
a VIP tour and gift cards, atotal value of$16,000, and I'll

Joni (06:24):
16,000 or 1600.

Nick (06:26):

I'll break that down in aminute.

They're in my head now.

Nick (07:17):
is, this is a big, big trip.

Joni (07:20):
That is a big trip.
Yep.
How do they, how do you getsigned up for that

Nick (07:25):

Okay.

Joni (07:45):
Sounds good to me.
That's fantastic.
Yep.
What's the other, what's the onethat I was talking about the
other day?
So

Nick (07:51):
one that's, A DVC.

Joni (07:54):
Yeah, but you don't have to be a DVC

Nick (07:56):
to be DVC.

Joni (07:56):
but if you enter for that one, you can go in and that's
for seven people.
And, uh, have your vacationspent as a mock DVC member.

Nick (08:07):
stay at A DVC resort, you can stay in the DVC lounges, um,
or not stay in the lounges, butyeah, you can go to the D VVC
lounges, right?
And, it's for seven people.
I think it, search DVC giveawayand that will, that will come
up.

Joni (08:23):
Yeah.
So there's two, actually, twovacationing packages that are.

Nick (08:28):
Up

Joni (08:28):
dibs and

Nick (08:29):
the DVC one we entered.
So you enter it and if you watcha minute and a half video, you
get five extra entries, Ries.
And then if you watch anotherthree and a half minute video,
you get another 10 entries.
So

Joni (08:39):
you don't have to be a non, I mean, anyone,

Nick (08:42):
Anybody, members or

Joni (08:43):
eligible.
Yeah.
And it doesn't matter if youbought, direct or any kind of
thing like that, you don't haveto be a current DVC member.
Everybody is up for that one aswell.

Nick (08:53):
Yep, exactly.

Joni (08:54):
So anybody, everybody go enter in for both.
'cause those are fantasticvacation packages.
Yep.

Nick (09:01):
I'd be really interested in this one with the eight hour
VIP tour.

Joni (09:04):
one.
Mm,

Nick (09:05):
So

Joni (09:06):
that's amazing.
Yeah,

Nick (09:07):
those

Joni (09:07):
And then of course,

Nick (09:08):
if you've ever looked at

Joni (09:09):
and then if you enter and you don't win those, you know,
you can always contact Nick, foryour tertiary option.

Nick (09:14):
can book one.
If you don't win, you still havethe fomo, just contact me.

Joni (09:20):
FOMO lasts a long time when when you leave,

Nick (09:24):
and this is the cruise news.
The Disney adventures, their newship, their maiden voyage will
be delayed by three months.
So the ship was originallyscheduled to have its maiden
voyage out of Singapore onDecember 15th, but it's been

There was unexpected delays inthe shipbuilding process.
Disney says now guest booked onthe original maiden's voyage

Provide future cruise discountsof 50% for people that can't
make the rescheduled date.

Joni (10:02):
Oh, I would hope so.

Nick (10:03):
would hope so.
So they're

Joni (10:03):
some people I'm sure have already bought

Nick (10:06):
Well, flights and, yeah.
Everything.

Joni (10:07):
all done going from Singapore.

Nick (10:10):
Singapore?
Yep.

Joni (10:10):
Wait.
It, it leaves out of Singapore.

Nick (10:12):
outta Singapore.

Joni (10:13):
Oh my goodness.

Nick (10:14):
And I don't know, I don't know if that's just like getting
the ship from point point A towhere's gonna, you know, be out
of birth of.
So, yeah.
Okay.

Joni (10:23):
Okay.
So, um,

Nick (10:24):
So that's the news.

Joni (10:26):
Good.
That's, that's it.
That's it.

Nick (10:27):
That's it.

Joni (10:28):
Oh my gosh.

I'm surprised that there's stillSeptember days left, to be
honest with you.
Let's give away this randomposter.

Joni (10:44):

Nick (10:45):
I'm ready.
Do you have the wheel?
I do.
I have the list.
Go ahead.
Spin that wheel.

Joni (10:50):
I wish I was spinning for a

Nick (10:51):
trip.

Joni (10:54):
Okay, here we are.

Nick (10:55):
I hear the wheel spinning.
They cannot hear it, but I canhear it.
What number we got?

Joni (11:01):
24.

Nick (11:02):
24.
24 is.

Yep.
Haley, congratulations.
You are the winner of a WaltDisney World Growth chart poster

Joni (11:14):
our randomly selected,

Nick (11:16):
randomly selected, our random drawing that we're just
gonna be popping in here andthere.
Hailey Haley is with anI-H-A-I-L-I, and your name is in
your email.
Okay.
That's the identifying way we'regiving out.
So we'll be sending you an emailin a few days to get your

Joni (11:34):
Congratulations, Haley.
Congratulations.
Hope you enjoy your growthchart.

Nick (11:37):
We can get that poster out in the mail to you.
So be looking out for the email, look in your, promotional or

Sometimes they like to, theylike to end up there, so

Joni (11:46):
well, and then you post it too, don't you?
Somewhere

Nick (11:48):
Yeah, I do post it on the Facebook page.
Yeah.
After a few days we want, youknow, want to let the winner

Joni (11:55):
yeah.
So if you're, if you're kind oflike me and don't check your
email that often, you know, justgo to the Facebook page
periodically.

Nick (12:02):
that's, Jonie and I are very different on that.
She never checks her email in myemail.
Like, I, I always check my

Joni (12:10):
I know anytime we sign up for anything, it's like, like we
just signed up, for our, one ofour local museums and it's got
my name, my phone number, buthis email, because

Nick (12:21):
Yep.
Because she won't,

Joni (12:22):
she won't, she won't, I am not gonna check it.
I am not even lying.

Nick (12:25):
I heard her at the counter and she said, what's the email?
She goes, well, I'll give you myhusband's.

Joni (12:30):
So I mean, there's lots of different ways that you can find
out if you're the winner onthis, but yeah.

Nick (12:34):
Yep.
So, congratulations.
Congratulations,

Joni (12:37):
Hailey.

There's really

Nick (12:46):
that's it.

Joni (12:47):
no legwork on, on anybody's part.

Nick (12:50):
Nope.
Just go and hit the subscribebutton and your email address
and boom, you're in.

Joni (12:54):
That's it.
Alright,

Nick (12:56):
All right.
Let's go to the need to spend a

Joni (12:57):
a little bit of time with us every week too.

Nick (12:59):
Yeah.

Joni (13:00):
It's a win-win.

Nick (13:02):
Okay.
Spotlights, this is yours.

Joni (13:06):
Oh, it's me again?
Yes.
Oh my goodness.
Okay.

Nick (13:09):
You usually do the spotlights in the movies.
You're better at explainingthose.

Joni (13:12):
Well, today we are going to look at Prince Charming's
Regal Carousel.
It is in Fantasy Land.
It's an outdoor carousel ride,and I believe it's purposely,
this one's purposely spelledwith two rss.
Walt

Nick (13:28):
Okay.

Joni (13:29):
or one of the Disney's, I don't know if it was Walt
originally one and one inDisneyland.
I don't really know how itbecame about, but it's purposely
C-A-R-R-O-U-S-E-L.
I never noticed it.
Yeah.
You have it?

Nick (13:40):
no.
I think

Joni (13:42):
oh, I read or

Nick (13:42):
think you just see the word or me, I see the word in my
brain.
I just see Carousel and I'venever

Joni (13:47):
Well, it's not a mis, it's not a misspelling.
It really is intentionally withtwo rss.

Nick (13:52):
rs.
Okay.
That's interesting.

Joni (13:54):
I can't remember where or where I'd read it or seen it or
heard it, but, it was something, you know, higher up in the
Disney world.

Nick (14:02):
No pun

Joni (14:02):
Ladder.
Yeah.
So this one says, ride atop aregal steed and gallop through a
whirling backdrop.
Wondrous color and whimsicalmusic attraction is inspired by
the film Cinderella.
Any height can ride, but kidsunder seven must be accompanied
by a person.
14 years or older.
The carousel is comprised of 90horses, and you have one rider

(14:27):
per horse.
There is one bench.

Nick (14:30):
in there.
Um, there's only one bench.

Joni (14:32):
Yeah.
There's only one.
I thought there was more becauseone of the times we rode it, we
actually sat on the bench andthe boys sat in front of us.
Yeah.
And the bench can seat two tothree riders.
So

Nick (14:44):
Hmm.

Joni (14:44):
if you don't get a bench, you gotta hop on a horse.
Get on that horsey.

Nick (14:49):
I'll get on the bench.

Joni (14:49):
Yeah.
You must be able to transferfrom an ECV.
It does have a wheelchairaccessible vehicle.
I don't know where that's at.
I don't know if that means thebench

Nick (14:59):
Could be.

Joni (15:00):
or if they've actually have like, things that can like
lock you down.
Like if you're taking publictransportation or like a van or
something.
You know, they have thismechanisms that

Nick (15:09):
That locks you in.

Joni (15:10):
Sure.
That can hold the chair, thewheelchairs down.
I don't know if it's like that.
I've never had to utilize thator been with a party member
who's had to utilize that, so I,I apologize.
I'm uncertain, but your castmember will know that if you
need it.
The duration is about twominutes.
It's an opening day ride ofOctober 1st, 1971, and it was

(15:31):
originally built in 1970 by thePhiladelphia Toboggan Company is
a Liberty Carousel at Bell IslePark, 1970.

Nick (15:40):
Oh,

Joni (15:40):
Oh, I'm sorry.
Did I say 71?
I apologize.
Anyway, it was put in this, bellIsle Park in Detroit, Michigan,
and it's the oldest ride at WaltDisney World.
Prince Charming's horse hasgreen and gold trappings, and is
located in an outer row.
And next to his right on thecenter there.
So there's three rows of horsesand right on the, in the center

(16:02):
row is next to his isCinderella's horse.
And her horse is slightly largerand it stands out with purple
roses on the neck.
And it's the only horse that hasa gold ribbon tied in a bow.
Mm-hmm.
Near on his tail.
On his tail.
So we actually have, somephotographs.

(16:23):
Nick can place up on the blog.
So if you're looking for

Nick (16:26):
Cindy's horse,

Joni (16:27):
if you're looking for to ride on Cindy's horse, um, or
her bows, you know, you guys canfind those easily.
I don't know how many peopleknow of this or how they select,
but they say if you're in thefront of the row, you, a lot of
people run to that horse, so.
Chances are when you, you gottakind of eyeball it as it's going
around

Nick (16:48):
Don't run anybody over, don't run

Joni (16:50):
kind of judge where it's gonna stop.
But, um, so that's what I haveon Prince Charming's horse.
Okay.
Or on the carousel.
I apologize.

Nick (16:58):
All right, well, thanks Joanie.

Joni (16:59):
Yep.
You bet.

Nick (17:01):
Now we can go on to the movies.
And again, that's you again?
Yes.
Now I'm gonna enter us to win a$16,000 trip.

Joni (17:08):
No, you have to pay attention to my spiel on this
movie.

Nick (17:11):
multitasking.
Okay.

Joni (17:12):
Well, today we are going to talk about, Tiana and, the
Princess of the Frog.
So this, her first appearance, obviously the princess and the
Frog, and it premiered, at theRoy e Disney Animation Building
on Walt Disney Studios, inBurbank on November 15th, 2009.

Nick (17:33):
So this is quite, yeah, 2009.
Pretty, pretty recent comparedto what we've been doing.

Joni (17:39):
fresh one.
Yeah.
And then a limited release wasNovember 25th, 2009 in Los
Angeles and New York.
The full release to the US wasDecember 11th, 2009.
The movie is 97 minutes.
The budget's 105 million boxoffice pulled 271 million.

(18:01):
Not their biggest no.
And it is quite a, a little bitmore money than normal that had
been going out.

Nick (18:07):
But nonetheless.
Us,

Joni (18:08):
The writers are very familiar to, our Disney movies.
We've got John Musker and RonClements, and they co-wrote with
Rob Edwards.
And John and Ron are also thedirectors.
Okay.
Obviously they've, their namesare very repetitively on these
movies, It's inspired partly bythe 2002 novel, the Frog

(18:31):
Princess by Ed Baker and alsothe German Folk Tale, the Frog
Princess by the Grim Brothers, which is also

Nick (18:39):
Green Brothers

Joni (18:40):
very familiar name in

Nick (18:42):
Comes up a lot.

Joni (18:43):
Yeah.
And her age at the time of thismovie is 19 and she is
hardworking, talented, andfocused.
The region is New Orleans.
And she is a waitress whoaspires and becomes a restaurant
owner.

Nick (19:00):
Yep.

Joni (19:01):
so.
An animated film set in the1920s in New Orleans follows
Tiana, a hardworking young womanwho dreams of opening her own
restaurant.
Her life takes an unexpectedturn when she meets Prince
Naveen, who has been turned intoa frog by a wicked witch doctor.
After kissing the frog, Tiana istransformed into a frog herself.
Together they embark on thejourney to break the curse,

(19:23):
discovering love and friendshipalong the way.
The film celebrates ambition,resilience.
The importance of believing inoneself.
She's got a few sidekicks inhere.
Louis is a jazz loving andsinging alligator, alligator.
Mm-hmm.
We have Ray, who is a cabutterfly mm-hmm.

(19:44):
Who is in love with the moon, oranother star or, and then, um,
her best friend Charlotte is,her mother's, actually, Tiana's
mother is actually a.
Very renowned seamstress andshe, sews Charlotte's dresses.
Anyway.
They're childhood friends.
They've been childhood friendssince like right the beginning

(20:04):
scene.
You see them as little girlssitting, listening to stories
and playing with toys.
So, as I said, her mom Adora is,a skilled seamstress.
Her dad, James is a soldier.

Nick (20:15):
and

Joni (20:16):
The in-laws become the king and the queen, because
spoiler alert, she marriesPrince Naveen Frog, prince
Naveen, and they are the rulersof Maldon.
there are no follow up movies.
There was a project that was tofeature Tiana in her role in
Madonia, but it was scrapped dueto production costs and
strategic changes within thecompany.

(20:37):
So I guess Tiana two was gonnabe.
Her living her life as theprincess.
There are no children in thedescendants, or anywhere else

Nick (20:49):
you know, I made a mental note that the answer is
descendants this week.
And then you just took it away

Joni (20:54):
I did.
Well, and I just drift it

Nick (20:56):
it away from

Joni (20:56):
I'm sorry.
Well, and they have no children, but when they do, I'm sure
they'll be in the descendants.
It received three Oscarnominations at the 82nd Academy
Awards, one for best animatedfeature and two for best
original song, which is almostthere is one of the songs.
And down in New Orleans is theother.
The film won three awards at the37th Annie Awards.

(21:19):
So this one is obviously, it'stoo old to be in the or it's too
new, rather to be in theRenaissance.
Mm-hmm.

Nick (21:27):
Mm-hmm.

Joni (21:28):
But it did, speaking on the awards, that's why I thought
I'd mention it.
The film received largelypositive reviews from critics
who praise the animation, particularly the hand-drawn form
characters music.

Nick (21:40):
music,

Joni (21:41):
Voice acting and themes.
It was qualified success at thebox office, although it somewhat
underperformed Disney's targetsyet finished in first place in
North America on its openingweekend.
I just, which one was that?
Was it Pocahontas?
Did the, highest opening weekendon fewer than 50 screens.

(22:03):
Yeah.
And then now this one.
Huh, interesting.
I just don't, it's just amazingabout how they just keep topping
themselves.
Yeah.
But the money didn't pull in asmuch.
No.
So the money's got big gaps.
The budget was big gaps.

Nick (22:19):
And you said this was 2000?
I was gonna attribute that maybeto streaming, but 2009, I mean,
streaming wasn't, it wasavailable, but not like it is
now, obviously.

Joni (22:29):
I mean, like when I, Pocahontas was, the budget was
55 million and this one was 90,or this one was 97, or I'm
sorry, 105.
Pocahontas pulled in.
346.
This one pulled in, 271.

Nick (22:45):
and that's 20 years ish apart too.

Joni (22:47):
Yeah.
Wow.
Yeah.
98, almost 20,

Nick (22:51):
Okay.
Well thanks Joanie.

Joni (22:53):
Yep.
You bet.

Nick (22:54):
And so I have been over here.
On Disney Plus,

Joni (22:57):
we win?

Nick (22:59):
Well, this is what I have found.
I was on Disney Plus website fora while and I could not find it.
So what I did, I backed out andI went to Google and I googled
Disney plus Perks.
That brings you to another, itlooks like another website, so
Google, Disney plus Perks, andit'll have you sign in and it's,

(23:20):
it's in there.

Joni (23:21):
Okay.
So it's not just under yourDisney

Nick (23:24):
account.
I, if it is, I couldn't find itif I was clicking on tabs I
didn't even know

Joni (23:27):
Well, save yourself the trouble and just Google.
Google Disney

Nick (23:31):
perks.
Yeah.
And, I've never been on thiswebsite and

Joni (23:34):
so we didn't

Nick (23:34):
gonna explore this more when we're done.
When we're done.
'cause it says we have 16 perksavailable.
I don't know.

Joni (23:39):
Oh, hey.

Nick (23:40):
So yeah, Disney plus Perks and it's under just says, chance
to win Walt Disney World DreamVacation.

Joni (23:45):
Oh,

Nick (23:46):
Alright.
Good.

Joni (23:47):
Cool.
Cool.

Nick (23:47):
Now onto our tip or trick.
Now we know if you're going toFlorida, what's the one thing
you're guaranteed to run into?
Well, not guaranteed, butdefinitely during the summer and
fall.
What are you gonna run into?

Joni (23:59):
Uh, rain.
Rain.
I literally just was like, it'seither rain or heat.
I mean, it's gotta be one or theother.

Nick (24:06):
especially in the summer, you're gonna run into rain, rain
almost every day, at least for20 minutes.
So our tip this week is to beprepared, but if you go into the
park and it starts raining, everybody's gonna go to dry.
Try to buy ponchos.
The ponchos are cool at DisneyWorld, but they're expensive.

(24:27):
They're$12.
So if you're in a family of fourand you're going to buy ponchos,
what is, that's 50 bucks You'redropping.
Our tip is to take your ownponchos, go to Walmart and buy
'em one for$2.

Joni (24:37):
No.
I'm, I'm gonna go ahead.
I'm gonna rebuttal you here injust a second

Nick (24:41):
Well, I'm just, I'm just saying go ahead, go to Walmart
or go to Amazon and buy a, afive pack or whatever.
Because while the ponchos atWalt Disney World, they are
cool.
I mean, they have, you know, theDisney World logo and characters
on'em and stuff, but they're$12.
Mm-hmm.

Joni (24:55):
Mm-hmm.

Nick (24:56):
So our tip is to take your

Joni (24:58):
Yes,

Nick (24:58):
Joni has a problem with my $2

Joni (25:00):
I agree.
And I do.
I have very, I have sensitiveskin and it is literally like
putting on I agree.
A

Nick (25:08):
I agree.
Plastic

Joni (25:08):
sweatsuit and then the humidity and then it just sticks
to your skin.
I'm so uncomfortable.
There's no airflow at all.

Nick (25:17):
That is

Joni (25:17):
so uncomfortable

Nick (25:18):
for you.
Some, some people are proponcho.
I am pro umbrella and the reasonI'm pro umbrella is because of
the poncho.
It's like you're putting an ovenover yourself.
Yeah.
And you're, there's, they're not

Joni (25:28):
you just, and then it just sticks to you.
It's just annoying.
I literally ripped it off andthrew it in the trash and was
like,

Nick (25:36):
I was the same.
Forget

Joni (25:37):
it.

Nick (25:38):
But, but if you want a poncho, don't wait to buy one in

Joni (25:40):
No, don't, no, no, no.
Don't do that.
But I don't think you need to.
I mean, unless you don't mindthat.
And it's just gonna be ashort-lived thing.
It's just, I personally cannotdo it.

Nick (25:49):
We, we clip un borrows to us, is what

Joni (25:51):
Yeah, we do.

Nick (25:52):
Because I just, I don't like the feel of ponchos and, I
don't know, maybe if you're in

Joni (25:57):
but they have more durable that aren't so much of the
plasticy garbage bag feeling.
Yeah.
They

Nick (26:02):
waterproof.
They gotta be air proof.
You know what I mean?

Joni (26:05):
I mean?
Yeah.

Nick (26:06):
So, but a driver, our Uber driver did tell us, and maybe
some of you locals that arelocal to Central Florida can,
can attest to this.
He told us, our Uber driver toanimal kingdom one day told it
rains every day.
He said, expect about a halfhour shower in the afternoon,
except if it's raining in themorning when you wake up, it's
most likely going to rain mostof the day.

(26:28):
That's what he told us.
He had lived in Florida for like20 years,

Joni (26:30):
Yeah, he did.
So

Nick (26:33):
Maybe some of your locals can attest to that.
But yeah, take your own ponchos.
is our tip.

Joni (26:39):
Yeah.
I think it's a good one.

Nick (26:42):
It is.
Any way to save money.
Disney World is is a good tip.

Joni (26:45):
And then actually, I mean, even if you wanted to in your
bag, pack an extra pair of socksjust in case

Nick (26:52):
That's a good, yeah, that's a good

Joni (26:53):
like you would do it for a water ride where I, I take flip
flops and just put my tennisshoes in a locker or a bag or
whatever, but extra socks if, Imean, look at the forecast, you
know, ahead of time and just seewhat the prediction of
percentage is.
Then plan according to that.
But yeah,

Nick (27:09):
because the parks do flood.
Like when it, when ittorrentially downpours, it
floods.
I mean, they have drainagesystem, but it temporarily
floods for a little bit.

Cindy's horse.
