podcast, your go-to podcast forall things Walt Disney World
related, all the news, and theupdates, and the tips and the
tricks.
I am your host, Nick, and withme as always is Joanie.
Joni (00:24):
Hello everyone.
Nick (00:25):
So Disney had some big
announcements this week, so
we're gonna go over that.
This show's gonna be a littledifferent this week.
We're not gonna be doing a moviethis week.
We are gonna be doing everythingexcept a movie because I feel
that, um, there's a lot of newsfor one
Joni (00:41):
it's, it's news
Nick (00:42):
It's news heavy.
There's a lot of news and someother subjects that, that Disney
came up with.
I feel it's important to talkabout, okay.
For people to know.
So we're gonna skip the moviethis week, but next week we'll
be back to our normalprogramming.
Unless Disney drops a bunch ofother bombshells, Which you
never know with them,
Joni (00:59):
Well, and I'll say next
week we're gonna go ahead and
we're gonna cover frozen.
Just to, I don't Norm.
I don't normally get a heads up,but we'll do Frozen.
Nick (01:07):
frozen was on the docket,
but obviously that's gonna be a
little in depth and, and I'venever seen frozen, No, it's, I'm
just kidding.
I'm just kidding.
I've probably seen it five
Joni (01:16):
Somebody come get this
man.
Nick (01:19):
So, I did some bad news I
wanna talk about over, over the
weekend.
My Chicago Cubs are no longer inthe playoffs.
Joni (01:27):
Yeah, They got won.
Won
Nick (01:28):
the Milwaukee Brewers.
They had their chances, but theyjust could not pull through.
So congratulations to theMilwaukee Brewers beating the
Chicago And before we get intoit, I just wanna mention, if you
like this podcast, please ratein your podcast playing app that
helps the show out and it helpsother, um, Disney World fans
find the show and so they canget all the, news and all the
(01:50):
information that we share.
All right, we ready to get intothe news?
Joni (01:54):
I'm ready.
Nick (01:54):
So we're gonna start out
this week with the big
announcement of the priceincreases.
This is October.
This happens in October.
Last October was pretty mild, ifI remember right.
They went kind of hard thisyear.
So we're gonna start, we're justgonna go one by one on the
highlights.
What I think is important, because prices raised on
(02:16):
everything.
Mm-hmm.
Um, so I'm gonna start with thehighlights.
Joni (02:20):
Wait, when did these go
into effect?
Are they
Nick (02:23):
they immediately?
Immediately, yes.
So,
Joni (02:26):
so as of yesterday.
Nick (02:28):
As of, yeah.
Whenever they announced it, Ibelieve it was Tuesday they
announced it.
Um,
Joni (02:33):
is the news, the new stuff
right
Nick (02:35):
now.
This this is current.
Yeah.
And today is, Sunday, October12th.
Everything is current to here.
So we're gonna start with themost common ticket that Disney
sells.
And this is the standard
Joni (02:46):
Mm-hmm.
Nick (02:47):
They have reached for the
first time ever over$200 on.
The most busiest times.
Okay, I did a little breakingdown here.
So Magic Kingdom.
Range now is 159 to$209.
That's an increase of$10.
Epcot 1 39 to 1 99, an increaseof$5.
(03:07):
Disney Hollywood Studios 1 49 22 0 4.
Increase of$5.
Animal Kingdom one 19 to 180 4,an increase of$5.
Now keep in mind like MagicKingdom was 2 0 9 on the most
expensive day.
Okay, these are single daytickets.
Okay?
Now part of my job as a travelagent is to kind of break these
(03:29):
things down.
So, I picked a random day, June3rd, 2026, okay?
To get into Magic Kingdom onthat day is$189.
Okay?
Joni (03:38):
If
Nick (03:39):
going on vacation and you
buy a four day ticket, you know,
'cause you go to four parks, right?
You buy a four day ticket, that's gonna be a total of$639.
That breaks down to$159 per day.
Okay?
Okay.
Joni (03:52):
Okay,
Nick (03:53):
A five day ticket is what
we always do.
That's gonna be a total of$705for an average cost of$141 per
day.
So, oh,
Joni (04:02):
well, it's always like it.
The more you go, the more you,you save,
Nick (04:05):
So when you see that big
number, and don't get me wrong,
it's expensive.
If you're gonna Magic Kingdomfor.
$209.
Keep in mind, that's a singleday
Joni (04:14):
for one person.
Nick (04:15):
not paying$209 for one day
and then 180 for the next.
You're buying a packet oftickets, so just keep that in
mind.
Now, the one day Park Hopperticket again, one day has
increased from 2 77 to 2 84, sothat only went up The annual
price increase have rangebetween 20 and$80.
The pixie dust passed, went up$20.
(04:36):
A pirate pass went up,$30 sourcewere passed up$20 and in credit
pass up$80 per year.
Joni (04:44):
Per person.
Nick (04:45):
Per person.
And the in credit pass is theone, your, you know, non DVC,
outta state residents.
You know, that's just, and Idon't think there's any blackout
dates in that.
Lightning lane Multipass hasincreased.
Joni (04:57):
Mm-hmm.
Nick (04:58):
Now this varies by day.
Joni (05:00):
It always did.
Nick (05:00):
It always does.
That high went from$39 to 45during the busy days.
Tours and enchanting extras hasincreased.
I just gave a couple exampleshere'cause it was a bunch.
The keys to the Kingdom tour isup$20.
Behind the seeds is up
Joni (05:17):
That's the living with the
land.
That's
Nick (05:19):
the behind the scenes
living with the land.
Yes, am Vivity Bodi Boutique, although this is not a price
increase, they have simplifiedtheir packages.
Their ranges used to go from1995 to$450.
They are now from 59 99 to 2 29
Joni (05:37):
and
Nick (05:37):
you get to meet the ferry
godmother now.
Joni (05:38):
Okay,
Nick (05:39):
so
Joni (05:40):
well maybe.
She's not always there though.
Nick (05:42):
No, I no dropping.
Right.
I don't wanna get into all thepackages.
If you wanna look at that.
Look at Pity Bobby Boutique.
Correct.
But they did change parking.
Parking has went from$30 to$35per car or motorcycle.
Oversized vehicles has went from35 to$40.
Okay.
This next one.
This one kind of hurts.
(06:02):
This is the little things thatDisney takes away that make a
big difference.
I mean, it's only$10, but it'sjust this makes a difference to
people.
If you have a, resortreservation, yes, you could get
on my Disney Experience websiteor app and buy a magic man.
At a$10 discount.
(06:23):
Mm-hmm.
That disappeared.
That is no longer the case.
The pre-ordering of magic bandsis no longer the case.
That's, that's kind of astinger.
And they did, they didn'tannounce that that was nowhere
in any of the announcement.
It just disappeared on theirwebsite probably because they
knew it was gonna be veryunpopular.
Wow.
Joni (06:43):
If they didn't wanna
Announce it?
Nick (06:45):
No.
Joni (06:45):
No.
So basically whatever you canbuy online now,'cause we used to
always go on and buy ours.
Mm-hmm.
We've never bought at a park ora resort.
Nick (06:53):
I have
Joni (06:53):
Oh yeah,
Nick (06:54):
always come home with a
new one.
Joni (06:55):
DVC.
You, you, you are correct.
You do., I'm okay with my DonaldDuck one.
I'm totally fine with that one.
But So it's the same price, whether you're buying it at a
resort, or a store, or online.
There's no discounts
Nick (07:07):
Yep.
And if, you know, save theshipping.
Yeah.
Joni (07:11):
Yeah.
Nick (07:11):
you're gonna pay the same
price.
I think they're 44, 95 online.
And they're the same price inthe parks.
Joni (07:16):
and there's more, there's
more, choices.
Oh,
Nick (07:19):
a ton more at the
Joni (07:19):
You're very limited Online
Nick (07:21):
there's, you know, 20 at
the most at times, but the park,
there's so many.
Yeah.
Joni (07:26):
Um,
Nick (07:27):
Um, so yeah, that one kind
of stings a bit.
Joni (07:30):
that's for all magic
bands.
Nick (07:31):
magic bands.
All magic bands.
Magic Band Plus, there's beensome talk in this, not been
confirmed, or Disney not saidanything that they kind of wanna
do away with the magic bands isbecause mobile phones and, you
know, that has not been.
Proven true or anything.
But, and this is another thingthat
Joni (07:47):
well, the first time we
went with the boys, we had the
regular
Nick (07:50):
We had the re Yeah.
And they discontinued thoseshortly after we bought
Joni (07:53):
Okay.
And then we went and purchasedthe ones that you got Haunted
Mansion I got Donald Duck.
That, you could wave to thecharacters.
Nick (08:02):
Magic Band Plus.
Yep.
Joni (08:04):
And, um, so they're
wanting to do away with that now
Nick (08:07):
that because of, I have
not heard Disney say that.
That's speculation.
That just, you know,
Joni (08:12):
huh?
Nick (08:13):
so who knows?
But this next bit of news, andthis is it for the, this is it
for the bad news.
Joni (08:19):
My
Nick (08:20):
This isn't necessarily
bad, but this may be a sign of
things that are coming too.
As of that day, when they raiseprices, select Disney World
snack carts have gone cashless.
So, on Monday you could pay cashat some of these carts.
And on the next day there was asign on the cart that said this
is a cashless station.
Joni (08:37):
I've never paid cash.
Uh,
Nick (08:38):
No, but they accept cash.
Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah.
No, that's what I mean.
They you had the option to give'em a$20
Joni (08:43):
I was like.
because
Nick (08:45):
Yeah.
Joni (08:46):
Well, I'm fine with that.
I
Nick (08:47):
I'm fine with that too.
Joni (08:48):
didn't realize that they
accepted
Nick (08:49):
I've always used a card.
Yeah.
When I'm there, I don't
Joni (08:52):
why we do the gift cards.
Nick (08:53):
Yeah.
I don't like
Joni (08:54):
And carrying, all that
money around?
No, like
Nick (08:56):
carrying cash on me at
all.
So in a
Joni (08:58):
it, we leave ours locked
in the safe for tipping.
But uh, Other than that, workcards, gift cards all the way.
Nick (09:04):
This was a, a snapshot of
what they did.
Like all food prices went up.
I'm not gonna get into everysingle thing that went up, but
you know, I saw like acheeseburger somewhere went up
40 cents.
You know, stuff like that.
It's the beginning of theirfiscal year.
It always happens.
Like I said, last year was mild.
This year they went pretty, pretty hard.
So that's can't change it, can'tdo anything about it.
(09:27):
No.
Joni (09:27):
I just can't wait for a$20
burger to come
Nick (09:29):
out.
Joni (09:32):
How many years have We got
before that.
happens?
Nick (09:34):
So just keep in mind,
Disney World, if, like I've
always said, you know, if youknow nothing about Disney World,
Joni (09:41):
it's expensive.
Nick (09:42):
every, if you know nothing
about it, you know that it's
expensive.
Joni (09:45):
So plan for it.
Nick (09:47):
Plan for it.
Joni (09:48):
and Don't complain
Nick (09:49):
Don't buy single day
Joni (09:50):
Who's that one man that
went On and complained about
things costing so much?
obviously did not go onto theapp or Yeah,
Nick (09:57):
he sites or he went on and
podcast and he kind of got
roasted because everything thathe did was super expensive.
Yeah.
You're like, you know, like thisis a perfect example.
You're paying enough to get inthe door.
Save yourself some cash on theother side of the gate.
Yeah.
You know?
Exactly.
And there's ways to do it.
Joni (10:16):
Sure.
Nick (10:17):
So,
Joni (10:18):
you know, one is to take
your own food, which we don't do
because you choose not to.
I would be fine with it, but I'mOkay eating off the kids' menus.
Nick (10:25):
Yeah, yeah.
That's a perfect point.
Instead of paying, you know,$16quick service, pay, pay$7 for,
for, yeah,
Joni (10:32):
for sure.
Um,
Nick (10:33):
don't buy soda in the
park.
Don't buy.
Joni (10:37):
Plan for it.
Yeah, exactly.
If you wanna do that, then yeah,
Nick (10:39):
don't, don't go and buy a
$20 beer and then complain that
beer is expensive'cause youdidn't need it.
Joni (10:46):
Well, I mean, come on.
Nick (10:47):
You may have wanted it.
I mean, it's a, it's an extraexpense,
Joni (10:50):
I mean, if you go to a
sporting event or anything like
that, they're the same way or,yeah.
So.
Nick (10:55):
Okay.
Joni (10:55):
Boohoo, Mr.
Nick (10:57):
I know.
Sorry to, sorry to start theshow on a bummer.
Should we get into the regularnews now?
Yes.
There's some bad news on here.
Not terrible, but So we'llstart.
We'll start in Magic Kingdom allright.
So Mickey's Phil, hard magic isclosing for refurbishment, the
website says Mickey's Phil.
Hard magic will be temporaryclosed beginning November 1st
(11:19):
for routine refurbishment and isexpected to reopen later this
month.
Joni (11:23):
Okay,
Nick (11:24):
later in the month,
rather.
Sorry.
And.
That's it for Magic Kingdom.
Oh, Epcot projection faced audioanimatronics being replaced on
frozen ever after at Epcot.
Epcot will be getting updatedaudio animatronic figures of
Anna, Elsa and Christopheinspired by those seen on the
(11:44):
newer version of the attractionthat opened in Hong Kong
Disneyland in 2023.
The new audio animatronics willdebut in early 2026.
Joni (11:54):
six.
Nick (11:55):
It has not been said, if
it will be closing for this.
My only guess is to that maybethey're making new animatronics
behind the scene and thenthey're just gonna go in one
night and install'em.
I don't know.
Maybe they can do that.
It seems like it'd be a littlebit more of a project than that,
but we'll keep you posted.
Joni (12:16):
I'm just having a hard
time believing that they're just
gonna.
swap'em and everything's gonnabe, easy
Nick (12:21):
I see that.
I found that
Joni (12:22):
think there's gonna be at
least a few days or
Nick (12:25):
or a week.
But they did, they put the hatbox, ghost in overnight, I
believe, if I remember right.
Joni (12:30):
Okay.
Nick (12:31):
and they, and they have,
they have the technology from,,
Hong Kong, Disneyland.
So it's just copy and paste.
Joni (12:36):
True.
Nick (12:37):
So
Joni (12:39):
We'll see.
Nick (12:40):
The entrance to
Joni (12:41):
be neat.
Nick (12:42):
Spaceship Earth has been
repainted as part of the regular
refurbishment.
The attraction opens on October25th.
Joni (12:49):
Oh,
Nick (12:50):
so it's just a fresh It is
Joni (12:52):
color did they paint it?
It's,
Nick (12:53):
it's the same.
Oh.
They just, you know, fresh paintjob.
Okay.
Joni (12:56):
Okay.
Over
Nick (12:57):
at Hollywood Studios Rock
and Roller Coaster starring the
Muppets Opens in the summer of2026.
Now, Disney has previously saidthat Aerosmith rock and roller
coaster will be open throughout2025, but the big news there is
they do, they expect Muppets tobe open 2026.
Okay.
Vacation, fun, you know,vacation fun.
(13:19):
Yeah.
Uh, potato land.
Joni (13:20):
Yep.
No, Don't even say it.
What?
That It's going away.
Nick (13:24):
Closing for refurbishment.
Joni (13:26):
okay.
well that's better than goingaway.
Nick (13:30):
Vacation Fun.
This is what the website says.
Vacation, fun and originalanimated short with Mickey
Minnie will temporarily beclosed beginning October 20th,
25 and is planned to reopenlater this year.
Joni (13:42):
it's
Nick (13:42):
So another short one
Animal kingdom.
Joni (13:45):
Okay.
Uh, you're smiling at me and Idon't know if it's a good smile
or a bad smile.
Nick (13:49):
Cali River Rapids is now
closed for refurbishment.
It closes every year forrefurbishment, right?
It's early this year because ofall the changes in animal
kingdom.
It usually goes down in Decemberor January, but it is down now.
The website says Cali RiverRapids will be temporarily
closed for refurbishmentbeginning October 6th, 2025.
Expected to reopen December of2025.
Joni (14:11):
Okay.
Yeah.
Who wants to ride that inJanuary?
Yeah,
Nick (14:15):
well you can get some 80
degree days.
I wouldn't do it at night.
No
Joni (14:18):
way.
No way.
Nick (14:20):
And Zootopia Better
Together has announced the AP
Annual PASSHOLDER and DVCpreviews, so those have been

times about that, right?
Because annual pass holders havea process to go through.

I'm gonna read that in a minute, but it does not say
Joni (15:08):

Nick (15:14):

Joni (15:45):
Okay.
Well, I haven't heard virtualqueue for a long
Nick (15:47):
It's been a long time.
And Disney has announced thepermanent closure date for TLO
Bites.
I don't, I don't know if that'sTLO or Tri Lo.
I have no idea.
Trilobites and Dino bite snacksin Dino Land, both will be
closed October 20th, 2025.
So October 19th will be theirlast day.
Joni (16:04):
Okay.
That's coming up
Nick (16:05):
Harambe market.
Joni (16:06):
It's A week.
Nick (16:07):
Yeah, maam.
Market will also be closedafter, um, October
Joni (16:11):
I'm really sad about that
Nick (16:13):
Yeah.
It'll be reopened in 2026.
And the miscellaneous, I knowthis is a lot of news.
Joni (16:19):
That's why we're skipping.
the
Nick (16:21):
skipping the movie.
But this, um, this is news.
This is fun news.
The Disney villains unfairlyever after show.
The music is now available tostream on like Spotify, Amazon,
and apple Music.
Joni (16:33):
Oh,
Nick (16:33):
And pricing for the 2026
Disney after hours events has
been released.
I'm not gonna go through allthat.
I did post a blog on it though,so all the dates and prices are
listed on our website on theblog, and this is good news.
This surprised me.
Disney has resumed developmenton the live action Tangled
movie.
Joni (16:51):
What We
Nick (16:52):
it after.
Um, the,
Joni (16:53):
I remember
Nick (16:54):
white.
Yes.
Did not get great
Joni (16:56):
Yes, I talked about that.
Nick (16:58):
that.
Scarlet Johansson is reportedlyin talks to play Mother Gothel.
Okay.
Joni (17:02):
Okay.
Nick (17:03):
So the casting for a
Rapunzel has not been announced,
but the rumor is, I don't knowwho this is.
Jojo Siwa.
SWA is rumored to haveauditioned.
Isn't she A young, um, musicalartist.
Joni (17:18):
I think, is she the little
girl that used to wear the big
bows
Nick (17:21):
I don't know it.
I think so.
And guess what?
Joni (17:24):
what?
Oh,
Nick (17:25):
I'm done.
You're done.
That is it.
That was a lot.
I think that was the, thelongest and the most news
segment we've had in a while atleast.
Joni (17:34):
That was a lot of news.
Nick (17:35):
was a lot of
Joni (17:36):
You better get yourself a
drink of water.
Nick (17:38):
water.
I'm gonna, yeah, I'm gonna gotake a nap while you do the, the
attraction.
Joni (17:42):
oh, my
Nick (17:43):
Oh my, um, big news.
Obviously price increases.
It happens.
Joni (17:47):
well, you know, just like,
annual wages go up because of
cost of living then You know, everything goes up.
So, basically it's tit for tatso.
Yep.
Nobody's really gaininganything.
Nick (17:57):
all right, well we stated
last week we are done with
fantasy land and we were gonnasurprise everybody where we were
going next.
So would you like to tell peoplewhere we're heading next?
We are
Joni (18:07):
going Adventureland
Nick (18:10):
today.
Yes.
Not the one in Des Moines, Iowa.
Joni (18:12):
Not the, not the amusement
park.
Adventureland the land.
So we're gonna do, magic carpetsof Aladdin today.
Nick (18:21):
I, like this ride.
Joni (18:22):
Yeah.
It's pretty comparable toseveral other,
Nick (18:25):
it's, it's, it's a copy
and paste, but I like it.
I like the theme.
Joni (18:28):
it's, uh, nostalgic For
those of us who are, you know, a
little bit older than.
Nick (18:35):
Most,
Joni (18:35):
than,
Nick (18:36):
the most,
Joni (18:38):
but not as old as some.
So this is a slow spinning ridethat you fly high over
Adventureland on an enchantedcarpet ride inspired by the
movie Aladdin.
There's no height requirement.
There can be four riders pervehicle with two per row.
So what you wanna do with thisone though?
(18:59):
Um.
Because it does have thespinning action, you want the
smaller rider to sit toward thecenter.
Nick (19:06):
Okay, so because the spin?
Joni (19:09):
Yeah.
You don't want,
Nick (19:10):
don't wanna crush your
kid.
Yeah.
So let, or maybe
Joni (19:12):
child, Let the child get,
get in first and then mom, dad,
or older sibling or whomever, follow after.
It's a tier two multipass.
Electric scooter vehicles musttransfer to a wheelchair.
The duration is one and a halfminutes, and it opened May 24th,
(19:33):
2001.
And it's like you said, copy andpaste of Dumbo Dumbo and the
Nick (19:38):
Astro Orbiter.
Well, well,
Joni (19:41):
little bit different.
Nick (19:42):
Uh, triceratops.
Joni (19:43):
Which is no longer.
But yeah.
So there was basically fourrides in the parks that, uh.
We're very similar, but it is,it is cute.
You do get to go high and low.
Nick (19:54):
Yeah.
Um, and then you have thespitting camel right outside
there.
Yep.
If you get hot, just get spit on
Joni (19:59):
Yeah, That's right.
That's right.
We have yet to do that.
You go first.
Nick (20:04):
Well, we've been there
when it's happened.
The ground's wet.
Yeah.
You know, or you can see it.
Um, and this one did, I don'tknow what you mentioned.
You can, you can control, youcan go up and down on the
carpet.
Yeah,
Joni (20:13):
I didn't, go ahead.
Nick (20:14):
Yeah, so you can, you can.
Adjust the, your ride vehicle togo up and down.
Can you do that in Dumbo?
I can't remember.
Yeah, you can.
Okay.
Okay.
I remember you couldn'ttriceratops.
So Yeah, basically a
Joni (20:25):
in all of them.
Nick (20:26):
It's basically, an Aladdin
themed Dumbo is what?
It's okay.
So we're in adventure land.
We're gonna knock on adventureland next, which is exciting
because I was, right before wesat down and started talking, we
were talking about all the risein adventure land.
I'm like, oh, okay.
So.
Joni (20:42):
Well, I'll tell you, um,
fantasy land was our largest
land with the most rides, Right.
So Adventure land only has mm,
Nick (20:51):
a handful.
Five.
Joni (20:52):
Five?
Let's see.
Five.
I think there's only five.
Nick (20:57):
Well, stay tuned.
We're gonna talk about'em.
Yeah.
Joni (20:59):
Yeah.
We'll cover all of'em.
But yep.
So that's the magical, alad, uh,carpets of Aladdin for you guys.
Nick (21:04):
All right, thanks Joni.
Joni (21:05):
Yep.
You bet.
Nick (21:06):
Onto this week's tip or
trick.
This is a big one for, firsttimers or newcomers is, getting
familiar with the My DisneyExperience app.
Before you step foot on yourplane or your car to get to
Disney World, because there is alot of information in there to
uncover it is everything you'regonna need.
(21:27):
To know or you're gonna do isgonna be in that app.
Yeah.
Um, unfortunately, I mean, youcan, the, the days of going and
just going to the park andwalking in, buying your ticket,
you can still do it.
You're gonna have a betterexperience if you, if you.
Use the app.
Joni (21:44):
Yeah.
Get more Bang.
for your buck.
Nick (21:46):
So just get familiar with
it because there, there's a lot
of menus in there, a lot ofdropdowns.
Like for instance, all the ridesare in there.
The wait times for the rides,
Joni (21:56):
got what closures
Nick (21:57):
the characters are.
Yep.
What time they're gonna be outthere.
Yep.
The wait time for thosecharacters
Joni (22:02):
tells you when all the
parades are gonna
Nick (22:04):
all your menus for all
your restaurant, all your quick
service.
Joni (22:07):
Yeah.
And you can even order yourmobile food.
while You standing in Line at aride.
Nick (22:11):
can get on your Disney
Transportation at seven o'clock
and you can be like, okay, Iknow we're gonna to eat lunch at
noon.
You can order your food at rightthere at seven o'clock.
Yeah.
And order have it picked up atnoon.
That's right.
Joni (22:20):
That's right.
Nick (22:21):
So.
It's just a very, very usefulapp to use.
It's very helpful.
It's going to make your day goeasier.
Joni (22:29):
Yeah.
What is that?
Um, work smarter, not harder.
Nick (22:32):
Yeah.
And a big mistake that I think alot of people do is they get to
Orlando and they get on the appfor the first time.
It's, oh, yeah.
There's too much information inthere.
It's, it's not, it's not a hardapp to use.
No.
It's just very in
Joni (22:48):
There's a, and there's a
lot, it can be overwhelming.
if you don't go in and do alittle bit of research ahead of
Nick (22:54):
time.
Yep, yep.
So that is, I mean,
Joni (22:56):
when Nick and I went, I
mean, he hadn't been for a long
time and when we were taking thekids for the first time, and my
first time going.
We watched
Nick (23:04):
YouTube videos,
Joni (23:05):
so many videos,
Nick (23:06):
how to use the app.
Not even anything else, just howto use the app.
Yeah.
Joni (23:09):
Lots on that A lots on,
you know, how to do the, the
rides that were,'cause we hadGenie Plus at that
Nick (23:15):
time.
Genie Plus.
Joni (23:16):
And, you know, trying to
get familiar with that.
And then, trying to navigateroutes of plans of attack of You
know, where we were gonna gofirst, second, third kind of
thing.
And what time shows were.
and Make sure we missed, didn'tmiss fireworks.
And it was just, it was superhelpful.
Yeah.
and it, it actually allowed usto be able to get literally
every, single thing done.
Nick (23:38):
Very helpful.
Extremely helpful.
It's overwhelming the first timeyou open it and you're looking
around and you're like, you'relike, oh my, what is going on
with this thing for
Joni (23:47):
time going and you not
being there for how many years?
Nick (23:50):
Oh, 20.
I think it was 20 years.
Joni (23:51):
did everything that week.
So it is possible, you justgotta use your time wisely and.
and take advantage of the
Nick (23:58):
And, and like, um, like
Jonie said, there are YouTube
videos just to show you how touse the app, not do anything
fancy, just show you how to dothe everything ins ins and out.
And that's where you're gonnabook your Lightning Lane multi
passes too.
So you want to get familiar withthat.
Yeah,
Joni (24:14):
that's a good tip.
It's a, it's a time changer andtime saver.
Nick (24:19):
Yep.
Absolutely.
Well, I think that's gonna do itfor this week.
But stay tuned.
Next week we're gonna be doingFrozen.
We just, you know, like we said, knows a lot to talk about.
