There is no perfect way to parent and sometimes we are going to get it wrong!
As we know children are constantly growing and developing and it is important that our parenting also needs to be open to change and development. Research tells us that healthy parent child relationships require both connectedness and flexibility and importantly parenting needs to be balanced. In a healthy parenting relationship children also need boundaries and lots of love and a wonderful sense of connection.
We’ve been entrusted to a special relationship with our children. Derek explores parenting and reminds us to stop and cherish what’s before us as parents.
