So yesterday I was having lunchwith my business bestie and she
happened to share somethingthat was holding her back
because she wasn't entirelyready and she didn't want to be
caught fumbling through whenpeople asked her.
So what do you have to offer?

(01:52):
Let me know if you feel thisway too, because that 80% almost
ready is probably the reasonwhy you are not getting any
clients.
Or maybe you're so ready to getout there, but you just
hesitate, which is a validconcern.
But it also led to years ofhesitation.

(02:13):
I kept telling her she wasready, ready to roll out a
direct copy to welcome herclient, but she kept holding
back.
Now here's the question Iwanted to ask you what is the
cost of actually waiting?
No visibility, no clientwhatsoever and, and clearly, no

(02:35):
clarity.
So my business Betsy and I havebeen together for the last five
years, ever since that I startedmy coaching business.
It was the second year when Imet her and since then we've
been masterminding together.
We spend a lot of time talkingabout our business.
I gave her some idea and shealso gave me some feedback to my

(02:58):
ideas and comment down belowLet me know if you also have a
business bestie.
But the point is that she keptseeing me scaling up and moving
forward, but then she keptfinding herself looping in that
almost ready mode, and no matterhow many times I have told her
exactly what to do, there'salways that hesitation that

(03:20):
pulls her back and thinking Ineed this one more thing in
order to make that announcement,in order to know exactly what
is it I'm offering.
And so you might find it thisway too, where you find yourself
constantly in that endless loopof almost ready and when you're
in that space of I'm almostready, you're constantly

(03:42):
thinking about maybe I need tohave a better niche, maybe I
need to narrow it down, maybethis is not specific enough, and
maybe I need to know exactlywhat I'm offering, what that
package will look like, before Ican make the announcement.
So the reality is, the momentthat you start looping yourself

(04:03):
in that I'm almost ready mode,you're probably not making the
announcement, as you're supposedto in order to get the clarity.
The only way that you can getclarity is actually by making
that announcement, and this issomething I encourage all my
clients to do is, once we havethe message down, once you are
able to describe or put togethera simple package and it doesn't

(04:24):
have to be your signaturepackage.
Once you have those twoelements down, what your next
step will be?
To actually make anannouncement to let the world
know that you exist, Becauseonce you make that announcement,
you actually have to repeat itseveral times in order for
people to recognize and remember.
This is what you're doing.
Here's a very important conceptthat you should know Clarity

(04:47):
doesn't come first.
It actually comes after youstart taking action.
So the more action step thatyou take, the more clarity
you're going to have, which iswhy a lot of coaches spend years
upon years just trying tofigure out and having that
clarity because they hesitate,they always think that the

clarity needs to come firstbefore they can take the action
step, which is quite theopposite.
You need to have the actionstep first so that action will
lead to information.
Information will give you theclarity that you're looking for.
Whether it's your niche, whetherit's your package, no matter
what you create in your coachingbusiness, clarity always comes

(05:29):
after you start taking action.
So if you find yourself stuckinside that 80% almost ready
mode, here's how you fix that.
Step number one is you want toobviously make it an
announcement, say, hey, this iswhat I'm doing now, and if you
want more, come and get it.
This way, you are inviting youraudience to have conversation

(05:53):
with you and with thatconversation, it's going to give
you the clarity to what wouldyour next step be.
Step number two, once you makethat announcement, is you want
to sketch an offer that's easyto articulate and you can
customize it based on the personthat you're speaking to, and it
doesn't need to be your foreversignature package something

(06:14):
that would just describe howmany sessions people are getting
, the ballpark price that youhave estimated and also the
result that your client may bewalking away with after they're
completing this package.
Once you got the two step down,the last step is to deliver and
listen.
You want to go ahead and serveyour clients, deliver the result

(06:37):
and refine it as you go,because there's a good chance
that the first package you putout it's not going to be perfect
, it's not going to be with theperfect duration of time, number
of sessions, the perfect pricethe first time is so that you
can get information.
So step three make sure thatyou deliver and listen and let
your client's feedback tell youhow you're going to shape your

(07:00):
signature offer in the future.
So you might be asking,michelle, that's risky to take,
right, but why does this work?
Because, number one, you'regoing to get a paying client a
lot faster than if you just holdyourself back and keeping it
all quiet under the cover andthinking that well, eventually,
once I have this figured it out,I will get out there and make

(07:22):
an announcement.
But in reality, the longer thatyou wait, the more effort that
it's going to take in order forsomeone to get to know you, like
you and trust you, andtherefore wanting to know you,
like you and trust you andtherefore wanting to pay you.
But in the meantime, you lostyour skills.
You lost your confidence inknowing and believing that you
can have a coaching businessthat can grow and thrive.

(07:43):
So during this time, if youcontinue to hesitate, your
confidence level is going todrop.
So you want to do this, becauseyou want to build confidence
through doing and not withwaiting.
You also validate your coachingidea.
So let's say you have a packageidea of having four sessions
and each session is going to be60 minutes long.

(08:03):
Or you want to meet with yourclient every other week and
these sessions would be 90minutes long.
So you get a chance to validateyour coaching idea in the real
world, with real clients, who'sgoing to give you a lot feedback
about what worked, what didn'twork, so that you can take that
information back into yourbusiness to perfect it, to even

(08:25):
refine it and to make it betterfor your next client, who you're
going to serve.
The other reason why thisapproach actually works is
because now you're telling yourresult to the client that you
are passionate about serving andthe result that your clients
actually want, which helps youto shape your eventually

(08:46):
signature package that you'vebeen looking for.
So here's your action step forthis week I want you to go ahead
and write a post.
It doesn't have to be fancy,doesn't need a lot of perfect
sentence or perfect way ofwriting this copy.
Simply just go onto a platformof your preference and just make
an announcement and say, hey,this is what I'm doing now and

here's how I can help you, andif you want more information,
please reach out and come andget it.
That's it.
That is the clarity you've beenwaiting for, because the only
way you'll know if your offer isactually legit, valid and lands

(09:34):
with your perfect client iswhen you put it out there, try
it out, deliver and get theresult.
Help your client get the result.
That announcement is your firstdomino effect of what is to
come later.
Everything else gets easieronce you just push it over and
listen.
I totally get it.

(09:55):
