When I look back to all the clients that I work
with, I would say that the mostsuccessful coaches are those who
really follow through on thethings, the strategies that we
talked about, and they continueto refine it and come back to
repeat over and over.
Those who follow through butthen fall off the wagon.

They tend to drag on a littlelonger, they tend to go to one
thing and they try somethingelse and they come full circle
back to originally what we hadtalked about.
This episode was inspiredbecause I see so many coaches,
including myself.

as well, for a lot of coachesout there.
You're being very resourcefuland when you're someone who's
being resourceful, chances areyou're spending a lot of time
researching stuff, trying tofigure out okay, how does this
work?
You're looking at all differentmethodologies and strategies

and you're trying to bring itinto your own coaching business.
When you do that, bringingpieces and bits of what have
worked on the surface, but youdon't know the underlying or the
big picture behind why we docertain things and how we do
things to make sure that it isworking.

So what is visibility marketing?
If you think about it all thethings that you do on social and
off social it is aboutvisibility, right, how you get
seen is probably one of a fewthings.
You might be creating content,whether it is a blog post, video

content, podcast or even ashort social media post.
Those are opportunities foryour business to get seen.
So, essentially, contentcreation is a significant part
of how your coaching businesswill get noticed by people who
follow you and those who don'tfollow you.
Even if you're out there andhosting workshop or meetup in

real life, you're stillproducing those content to
deliver the value before someonesigned up to be your clients.
And that, my friend, that iswhat visibility marketing is all
about Letting what you createto become the reason why your
audience, your followers, yournon-followers they will lean in

(04:25):
and want more from you.
Now that you know whatvisibility marketing is, here's
what I see happening a lot withnew life coaches.
You're out there doing the mostright Maybe a few of those
things I had just talked aboutto create your visibility.
You're probably already outthere and pumping out content.

(04:47):
You probably got your Pinterestboard ready to go, your vision
statement, your Instagram bioall polished up and you might
have even signed up to likefreebies.
Or you bought that $37 Fix myNiche mini course because you
know the importance of having anI help statement is going to

(05:07):
change everything, but still,after all the content that
you're producing, you'redelivering.
You end up finding yourselfstuck.
You're sitting there andthinking wait, what am I missing
?
Why is this not working yet?
It's not because that you'renot doing anything.
You are doing everything, butyou're trying to piece it

(05:29):
together with bits and piecesand, honestly, that is not on
you, because nobody gave you thebig picture on that puzzle box
that you're trying to solve.
You've been collecting randomstrategies, random templates,
random advice from random peopleonline and while each one have

(05:53):
their own unique strategies andmethodology and they might work.
But since you don't have thatbig picture, you're trying to
build a coaching business, areal business, with all these
bits and pieces, informationthat came from everywhere.
So when you do that, it justdoesn't quite fit together, does
it?
Because it's never meant to be?

(06:15):
And that is why it feels sohard, because you're grabbing
all these different pieces andyou're trying to fit that in the
puzzle that you're trying tosolve, and that's why it feels
heavy, that's why it feelsdifficult and that's why
marketing feels like a nightmare.
Do I need to post more?
Maybe I need to host a webinar,because everybody else is

(06:35):
hosting a webinar.
Do I need to be on TikTokinstead of Instagram?
Maybe TikTok is doing well.
I heard YouTube is functioningreally well, so let me be on
YouTube, girl.
No, you don't need to do more.
You need orders.
You need a real plan that youcan ground yourself.
You need to stop building yourbusiness like it's a patchwork

(06:57):
and start building it like areal business with real
structure.
So, essentially, one of thereasons why it feels so hard is
because you're trying to savemoney, and I know that one hits
pretty hard, right?
You're trying to be smart,you're trying to be resourceful
and, believe me, I be in yourshoes.

(07:17):
I did that because there's somuch information that's out
there.
If I can find it on YouTube, ifI can have ChatGPT.
Help me map it out.
Why should I be hiring a coach?
You're doing the whole.
I will figure it out on my ownthing, which I totally get it
totally.
But I need to say this youcan't save your way to your

(07:40):
success.
You just can't.
At some point you're going tohave to invest, not in getting
more stuff, not in another $9 or$17 or $37 template or mini
course that just sits in yourinbox, that you don't even go
back to it.
You forgot that you ever signedup to it.
What you need is in thestructure.

(08:01):
You need the strategy, you needthe clarity and you need
someone who can actually helpyou to connect all the dots and
all the pieces and bits that youhave grabbed together and to
show you the big picture of whythis works and how it works,
because DIY is fine until youbecome your own bottleneck, and

(08:23):
most of the time, that's exactlywhat happened.
So if you want to build a realcoaching business, it's not
built by bits and pieces.
It's great that you're findinginformation out there online,
you're watching video, you'relistening to podcasts.
All these are great information, but when it comes to building
your own, you need to have a bigpicture of what does that look

(08:45):
like and how do I connect thesedots to make sense out of this?
That means you need to have aclear of saying it that makes
you stand out so that they knowwhy you, with a simple client

(09:07):
attraction strategy so peoplecan find you and hire you.
Finally, once you have allthese pieces together, then you
will have the confidence inshowing up consistently, feeling
you know exactly how toarticulate and articulate well,
because visibility only works ifyou use it and you let it work

(09:28):
for you.
So the big picture behind aprofitable, positioned,
purpose-led coaching business isthe one that actually connects
all the dots between passion,positioning, package, promotion
and your paycheck.
