(00:50):
your seat at our next call.
We love to see you there.
And now grab your favorite mugand let's dive into today's
episode.
Just a quick reminder andhousekeeping how this monthly
coffee and coaching club works.
So once a month, we're going tomeet and I'm going to give you

(01:11):
a bite-sized coaching session, atraining session, where I'm
going to teach you some simpleand strategic way of getting
seen more of the tactic way toget clients, and then I will
open up the floor to hot seatcoach to get clients.
And then I will open up thefloor to hot seat coach so you
can actually get feedbackinstantaneously and also get the
clarity and maybe a loving kickin the pants, your choice.

(01:33):
All the training portion willbe recorded and if you're
listening to the replay, this isprobably the portion that
you're going to hear the audioversion will be available.
I will highly encourage you toactually attend this session
live, just because you get anopportunity to hot seat with me,
so that anything specific thatyou're going through or you're
focusing on that I can help youmoving forward.

(01:55):
If there's a topic that youwould like me to cover during
the training, then go ahead andhit the reply to my email and
send me the request and I willplan it into my future monthly
calls.
And also, if you know a coachwho needs this kind of support,
this kind of community, pleasedo share the link with them.
And if you're looking for adeeper support you're trying to

(02:18):
get your business going, I willalso share my calendar with you
so that you can grab a strategycall with me.
All right, so today we aregoing to talk about how to
simplify, to be seen, raise yourvirtual hand.
If summer has been quite anactivity for you, you have tons
of stuff to do.
It's a struggle to decide whatto do first.

(02:39):
Right, is it going to the babyshower, is it going to the beach
?
Is it going to a vacation?
And, depending on your niche, you might have this experience
where you're noticing thatduring the summer season it
might be your slow season inyour business, like people are
just traveling more, spendingmore time outdoor, so they're

(02:59):
not necessarily glued to thescreen.
So no matter what you post onsocial or what you talk about
what you're offering, there'snot a whole lot of traction and
probably your calendar isgetting a little lonely and you
yourself might have a lot offamily activity as well, plans
that you need to go somewhere, right, but somewhere along that

(03:20):
line of activity that we have todo.
We also have that negativeself-talk.
The negative self-critics startshowing up and say, but I
really need to be spending timeworking on my business, why am I
not?
So also raise your virtual handif that's what you're feeling
like I should be really workingon my business when I'm here on
the beach.
So if you're bouncing betweenthe idea of I need a break to I

(03:45):
need to do more, then this iswhat this training is going to
be for.
I want to make sure that youactually stay in the game while
setting your calendar and youremail on automation, while you
can block out your calendar outof office mode throughout the
year, out your calendar out ofoffice mode throughout the year.

(04:07):
This is something that we'dencourage you to do is actually
opening up your calendar andblock out the month, the week,
maybe the day that you saidabsolutely no to client work or
coaching or have anything to dowith the business.
Totally okay with that.
First and foremost, probably noone said this to you, and you're
probably thinking, michelle, doI need to be on LinkedIn,

(04:28):
instagram and TikTok all thesedifferent platforms and the
answer is no, especially duringthe summertime.
So what?
I would suggest that stepnumber one.
What you do is you pick thebattle that you want to win.
So what is your anchor platform?
There's a primary anchorplatform where it is the one,
the only one, that you will goto, no matter what.

(04:51):
Okay, whether you're onvacation mode or not on vacation
mode, that's the only platformthat you would like to get seen
on and that's where you createyour consistency.
So forget about all these otherplatforms that you have to
cross, pose or create differenttype of format.
Consistency is about showing upon that anchor platform often.

(05:12):
So what is that one anchorplatform for you.
It doesn't need to be on allthe platforms.
It could be on LinkedIn only, and that's where your people
will know you and where you putall your basically where you
plant your flag in and say thisis where I'm going to share my
idea, value and visibility magic.
It could be just your email.

(05:33):
Hey, this is for throughout theyear.
My email is going to be mygo-to place where my people will
get to know me and that's youranchor place.
It could be Facebook, it couldbe LinkedIn, it could be YouTube
, pinterest, that one place youcan easily commit to, even on
the busiest week that you have.
For me, for example, I open upmy eyes and the moment I open, I

(05:58):
go to Facebook.
So Facebook is my primaryanchor platform.
Now, I may be present on otherplatforms, but even if I'm
missing out on LinkedIn, I don'tfeel I missed out because my
anchor platform is on Facebook.
So even if I can just post onepost I accomplish, I check off
the box during the summertime,so I don't have to stress out

(06:20):
about creating all thesedifferent types of posts.
Once you pick your anchorplatform, you're ready to do my
two other things.
So during the summertime, whenthings get slow on your client
side, it would be a great timeto build your authority and your
credibility.

(06:41):
If you look at, let's say, forexample, wellness and health
niche, your people probably aremore likely to be active and
they're looking for a solution, probably right around the
holiday, right Right after theholiday, maybe in March, where
they start really looking forhelp.

(07:02):
They really they try it inJanuary.
It didn't work.
February comes they're stillfeeling stuck.
March, they're ready.
In January, it didn't work.
February comes they're stillfeeling stuck.
March, they're ready toactually work with somebody.
So March might be your busiesttime of the year for you,
whereas the summer, wheneverybody is out doing stuff,
they're not thinking aboutlooking for coaching.
There's more daylight, they'reout there less screen time, so

(07:25):
coaching is not going to be onthe top of their mind.
But for you, right, what you cando is to build your authority
and your credibility.
So how do you do that?
There's two things that you cando.
One is you can pitch yourselfto speak or to get featured.
So there's podcast opportunitythat you can look for during

(07:50):
throughout the year, butparticularly true in the
summertime.
There's a lot of people arelooking for guests because
they're looking ahead.
They're planning ahead in termsof who do I want to invite for
the third quarter, for thefourth quarter.
A podcast host is alwayslooking to plan ahead in terms
of who they want to invite fortheir future episode.

(08:12):
So this would be a great timeto pitch for speaking to get
featured.
One of the plays that I look forfeature article or feature
publication is on Herald Help areporter out.
There is a membership fee butit's $20 a month and what you

(08:33):
get is a list of all the journalpublications and news media
that's out there and they havetopics specific for you to pitch
.
For example, someone might belooking to write an article on
how to eliminate the sugar rushor how to stop the sugar rush,

(08:54):
or how to connect to a newcareer, how to find goals, how
to define goals, and when youget those topics, you would then
write to the publisher and sayI am a transition coach, I'm a
wellness coach, and here are thetopic and here's my perspective
, and they'll ask you to includewhere is your website, how do

(09:17):
they find you and when they pickyour insights, you'll get
featured on their article.
So that's one of the ways tobuild your authority and build
your credibility, and thosewould be a great thing to do
during the slow season.
There's also a local summit andInstagram Live.
People are always looking forguests to go on Instagram Live

(09:40):
to help them to create theircontent.
How do you look for them?
A Facebook group is greatGroups, or sometimes, if you
just jump in and say hey or poston your wall and say, hey, I'm
looking to collaborate, I'mlooking to collaborate with
other coaches who's doingFacebook Live, and you yourself
can actually host Facebook Liveor Instagram Live.

(10:00):
Right, these are something thatyou can do and invite others.
If you can find it somewhereelse, I always have this theory
about if you can't find itsomewhere else, then go ahead
and create it yourself.
One of the whole reasons Icreated the podcast was because
I like to be a guest on someoneelse's show.
And how do I get to someoneelse's show?
Hey, I have a podcast.

(10:21):
Would you like to be on mine soI can be on yours, and so it
becomes an exchange of interestthat it's a mutual benefit.
So that would be something toconsider.
If you've been thinking aboutdoing more live or videos, maybe
start inviting others to do itwith you and it's also a great
way to practice, and that youcould totally do it during the

(10:41):
summertime.
Turn on your phone, you shoot avideo.
So summertime would be.
So that's number one one.
The first thing that you can dovery easily is just building
your authority and credibility.
Now the second thing that youcan do that you can stay in the
game and without having a wholelist of things to do, is you can

(11:01):
still stay on top of yourclient's mind by offering a
summer pop-up service.
Now, these are small, bite-sizedservice that will keep you in
your avatar's mind for those whoare scrolling, who are checking
out your social media, who arethinking about I wanted to try

(11:22):
coaching, but I'm not reallysure you can give them a kind of
like a bite-sized offer.
So, for example, confidencereset session.
It would be a 60-minute sessionto help them to reframe the
limiting belief that's holdingthem back during the summertime.
And it's a one session, onetime.
That would first of all giveyou some revenue to replace your

(11:44):
free discovery call.
It's still a 60-minute session,but you're calling it a
confidence reset session andyou're actually charging them
for maybe $125, right, for 60minutes.
They jump in.
You actually coach them throughit and if they want more, then
you can offer them and say, hey, this is something that you
would like to do throughout theyear.

(12:05):
This is how I help, this is howI work with clients.
Let me know if you wanted totake a step further for the rest
of the year, and totally okayif you don't want to.
So, during the summertime, offerthem something small, a smaller
commitment that would make themfeel more easily that I can
jump into.
It could be what's next wouldbe what's next life alignment

(12:28):
intensive.
It could be just two days ortwo hours.
For women who's facing at acrossroad and maybe they're
going through some careerrelationship transition or empty
nester and you help them to.
Just maybe a smaller sessioncould be two session and you
charge them for 97.
So that's a mini session.

(12:48):
That's low ticket, lowcommitment, low bar to cross.
So those are the two ideas thatwill keep you on top of your
advertised mind during thesummertime and it also gives you
some time to actually to walkaway, to enjoy your time and
freedom, to be with your familyor the things that you like to

(13:08):
do.
Okay, if you need like a wholelist of other ideas of what to
offer.
I have a whole list of otherideas.
There's also audio onlycoaching.
You'll see this happening a lot, where people are offering the
Voxer access.
You get the voice recording oryou get the voice access to me.
I will coach you through theaudio only coaching.

(13:31):
Those are great for introverts, especially introverts, where
they don't want to jump onto thescreen with you, and it could
be a mini session packagedtogether.
It could be a pick my brainbonus office hour or something
like this.
Right, a monthly thing whereit's a low bar to cross and you
create a community for people.
People like to come togetherand there's not a whole big

(13:54):
community on the table.
Okay, so just recap real quickhow you show up just enough to
stay visible and attract clientduring the summer.
First of all, pick one platform.
You don't have to be on all theplatform, that's not necessary.
And definitely no more hashtag.
If you're still using hashtagand stressing yourself out

(14:16):
looking for the hashtag, youdon't need to do that.
Just show up on that platformconsistently.
And what do you talk about?
You can talk about how you aregetting featured article, or
maybe it's a podcast.
You can talk about how you gotcertified right.
Maybe that's not something thatyou have posted in the past.
Those are easy things that youcan schedule out.

(14:37):
It doesn't change so much.
It's like your evergreencontent that you can share on
social and schedule them aheadof time, right?
If you're someone who posts twotimes or three times a week,
then probably one of your postsis about that authority building
.
Here's an article that I'vewritten and there you go, you
share that and that will buy yousome time that you don't have

(15:01):
to be on social that much.
The other way that you can stayon top of people's mind is
offering something that's a lowcommitment pop-up service a
90-minute session.
Get them to jump in, and ifthey want more, then you can
offer them more.
With that said, now it is yourturn.
So I would love to hear, withall that being said, what is

(15:22):
that one anchor platform for youfor this month?
Where would you like to be?
You can drop that into the chat, and then my follow-up question
would be what's one summervisibility move that you're
going to commit to?
I already know the answer forsome of you, you're already

(15:45):
posting consistently.
Or some of you, you're alreadyposting consistently, but what
are you committed to do?
And that is a wrap on today'scoffee and coaching session.
Short, powerful and just whatyour coaching business needs,
right?
If you want to be on the liveversion of this, where you can
