On this episode of the podcast Phillip is joined once again by Scott Kraushaar from The Church of Tarantino podcast to discuss David Fincher's Fight Club from 1999. You can find all of his stuff on his linktree https://linktr.ee/churchofqtpod?utm_source=linktree_profile_share&ltsid=fd75cb14-eaba-444b-912b-71784ef9d7c6 They start the show by talking about the BIG news of that Scott was invited by Quentin Tarantino himself to come out to L.A. and interview Tarantino after seeing Kill Bill: The Whole Bloody Affair. Then Phillip gives the general information about the movie with some facts thrown in. It's then time for Listener' Opinions from Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook. Phillip and Scott then discuss this life changing movie. It's a fun conversation. The two of them answer the question of whether they notice anything from the movie that Tarantino might have liked or used in a film. They then individually rate the movie, and talk about whether they would buy the movie, rent it, or find it for free. It's then time for Phil's FIlm Favorite of the Week; Underworld U.S.A. (1961). Phillip asks Scott if he has anything to recommend and he talks about seeing Kill Bill: The Whole Bloody Affair at the Vista in L.A. Then it's time for Phillip to promote next week's show, when he will be joined by Kristen Battstella from In Session Film podcast and Women InSession, for Psycho II (1983). Thanks for listening and watching.
