I mean, Shaheen it was fine, Shaheen was good and

But but you're right, I should have diversified. I should
have diversified in in team. I should have diversified in gender. Yep,
yeap PD did all female. Well didn't work out for
the win, but it did get him to the end game.
So yeah, I learned a lot, and I'm h I'm
excited to go into the next season in September and really, uh,

take what I learned and win the season.
Speaker 1 (10:47):
I think. I think you can do it because here's
the thing. If you win forty nine going into fifty,
everyone will have won a season.
Speaker 2 (10:56):
That's true except Jonathan Well, right, yeah, Jonathan, it was
a COVID year.

When do you want COVID victory last season?

And I just want to say anything during the draft,
but I was like brand, he's very clearly news, he's
learning the game. He's making some decisions that I'm happy
that he made because then I could get more players
that I want. But I feel like, as we keep drafting,
you know, you're going to be a powerhouse by fifty.
Speaker 3 (11:22):
You know, what's my My biggest concern is, and I'll
be honest, I am watching a lot of Survivor and
sometimes that can mess with you.
Speaker 1 (11:31):
Yes, it can.

It can mess with you. If I'm I'm watching a
lot of old Ara Survivor, that could mess with me.
There's a lot of there's I gotta I gotta do
my homework. I gotta just really put my head down
and put in the work. And I'm gonna do that.

Yeah here, I mean I notoriously suck at drafting. Yeah
we know. And this you know, PD says that when
you drafted, he was like, Yeaike, Brand's making a lot
of bad decisions. I think I'm on the record of
that episode being like, I think Brand has the best team.
Speaker 2 (11:59):
And then me and Jonathan were both like, man, we
did the best. We're going to be there at the end,
you guys, And we were right. I gotta get better
at here.
Speaker 3 (12:07):
But let me ask you, PD, like, what was it
about Camilla? And this is a really weird time to
be doing this, to be revisiting what was it about
Camilla in episode one that or episode one and two
that spoke to you?
Speaker 2 (12:22):
It was the charisma, but like that she wasn't so
outwardly charismatic to everybody. It was more of like charisma
to the cameraman. That's what I picked up on, and
her articulating her strategy.
Speaker 1 (12:33):
Well, I I for forty nine. I would love the
opportunity to draft not last to the wheel because I
would love to be able to figure out, like, hey,
have I been doing bad in the drafts because I'm
always drafting last? Or am I just bad at drafting?
(12:55):
Because I also, like, I can't remember what it was
forty seven, all of the play years that I wanted
that I couldn't get because I got taken before I
want ended up being the final three. So I don't
know if it's just because I always draft last about
because I suck?

How about I make this promise to you right now
if if the Wheel gives you the last spot, yeah,
I'll switch.
Speaker 1 (13:16):
Well, no, because I want the last spot for fifty
oh no forty nine this coming in season. Wow, do

I mean, if it's a trade, I want to clean trade. Okay, Okay,
that's it. But that's just a trade that only benefits Chase.

It doesn't benefit anybody.

But what you're trying to say is you want me
to not draft last so I could prove that I
just suck it.

I think I do suck a draft. It would be
beneficial for I, Like, it would be really good. I
kind of like this idea. I like, in this hypothetical
world where you defeat the odds once again and get
the last.
Speaker 1 (13:56):
Slot, I'll switch. I'll switch as long as we get
the approval from board.
Speaker 2 (14:00):
Yeah, of course, that's interesting. I was just seeing like
the franchise mode menu in my head of like, you know,
Chase receives the first pick and Brand receives nothing.

I'll take I'll take cash considerations. Okay, Okay, I'll preface
it with this. Okay, I will do that unless I
have the number one overall pick.
Speaker 1 (14:15):
That's fine. That's why we don't have to do it
if I have two, or because I also love the
idea of me having a draft last every single year.

It's a funny thing. Let's revisit it. We'll talk about
I don't want to I don't want to make any
rast decisions. We're speaking about drafts. We're talking about drafts
right now. Obviously everybody's talking about season fifty. Everyone's very
excited because season fifty is the first returning season in
a long time.

We're gonna be able to draft it. That'll be the
first time that we all for our draft draft before
the season premieres. That's right. And I think we're gonna
try to do a little mock draft.
Speaker 2 (14:44):
Yeah, I want to get I want to get Taggie
on see if I can pull that off.

And then, because I mean our criticisms for the season
fifty pot are fans criticisms of it. We're like, you
guys have not seen every minute of Survivor. You know
who has Tag, So we'll bring in Tag and then
people can't get mad at us.
Speaker 1 (15:02):
Yeah. I think that's a great idea. I would I
want to see what a Survivor statiician? Would you call her?
Someone an expert? Yeah, I would like to see who
she would draft in fifty in a draft like that,
because that might influence who I draft for fifty.
Speaker 2 (15:17):
But also there's gonna be some dynamics of like, you
don't want to put all your cards out on the
table for the mock draft because then somebody might take
your thing.
Speaker 1 (15:26):
Because we also have an element to our draft. We
won't do this for the mock draft, but for the
season fifty draft, we're gonna do a thing where, uh,
for just round one of the draft, you get first
DIBs on any of your returning players.
Speaker 2 (15:38):
And because I am so good at picking compelling characters,
I have, yeah, a lot of choos from I have
a wealth.
Speaker 3 (15:44):
Of riches, yeah, and I think I only have one.
The easy pick would be to pick D. You talk
about D other than anybody I ever match.

Yeah, and that Jam Jam is not in there.

That's the obvious thing. The obvious thing would be PD's

More than Kamela. That's true. Let me ask you this
because because they have leaked the two players from forty
nine that will be talked about fifty, it's interesting do
you think that you should draft for forty nine?
Speaker 2 (16:15):
So that's like a big question.

The question you need to.

Ask yourself is they they had to know that the
two from forty nine would get leaked, right, and so
would they be dumb enough to pick two people, one
of them be the winner of forty nine before forty
nine even starts. Did they do that or did or

did they go let's pick two dynamic people one of us,
and neither of them have won.

The fact that if you don't want to hear one
of the names, go ahead and hit the fast forward
button by fifteen seconds or whatever. The Rizzler God, risk God, Yeah,
the rizzler of a lot chatter about both riz Good
and the Wristler. To be honest with, Yeah, I would
find it hard to believe that riz God won the season.

But I bet he's a ton of fun all season long.

But if I'm picking in the first two spots, I'm
going to be tempted to take at least one of
the returning players. What's what's the girl's name? Is it Stephanie?

Something like that. Yeah, But here's the thing about people
named Stephanie. They typically always go home fifth and they
get isolated, and they get isolated and use the urstler.
Well that was that one season. But this I put
on all Stephanie curse in Survivors.

Yeah, it's like the car curse, Yeah, which they had

we watch the most recent season of every different Survivor,
