Speaker 1 (00:00):
Hi, CBS. It's Nicky from New Very North Carolina and
walking in these views it makes me very happy.

Speaker 2 (00:13):
I had to include the two CBS bumpers. Why do
they do that? Why? And who are these people and
where do they come from? And like how do I submit?
I want to submit?

Speaker 1 (00:25):
It's such a it's such a radio station move. It's
like you're listening to Serious XM and someone's like, send
in a voice recording of your favorite beer and why
you love listening to Red White and Booze.

Speaker 2 (00:39):
This is a big Bro Club. We're off to a
hot start thanks to Nicky NICKI from North Carolina. Yeah,
I was just one more note on those. This one
came before the episode, which is why I thought it
was significant. Usually what I was used to is after
Survivor or after Big Brother, we get like a dude
named Frank and he's just in the street and he

(01:01):
just says like, hey, I'm Frank and I want you
to have a good day.

Speaker 1 (01:04):
Yeah, and it's just like thanks Frank. Why is why
is CBS doing this?

Speaker 2 (01:07):
I don't know, but it's Big Bro Club.

Speaker 1 (01:11):
It's like we're not gonna talk about Big Brother today.
We're gonna dissect the business of CBS and why they
do things that they do.

Speaker 2 (01:19):
And I think I'm gonna need to leave and come
back now. I'm not able to hit any buttons or anything.

Speaker 1 (01:25):
So dang, dude, we're having problems today. All right, I
start over. Yeah, I'm gonna well, yeah, I guess so
might as well. All right, all right, I'll be back
in a second. This is insane. It's still recording. I
left and came back and it's still recording. So PD
is not here right now, but later when he's editing

(01:46):
in theory, he will hear this. It's pretty crazy.

Speaker 2 (01:50):
Head. Where did you go? If I did?

Speaker 1 (01:54):
I did you just start the episode by myself?

Speaker 2 (01:57):
Welcome everybody to Big Bro Club host. Oh look at that,
I'm back. Oh, there he is. You're doing the podcast
by yourself. Yeah, they keep recording.

Speaker 1 (02:10):
I left and came back and it was still recording
with no one in here. Really yeah, So I was like, whoa,
this is crazy.

Speaker 2 (02:17):
I think the Mastermind is messing with us today. But
that means, hey, we get to keep our excellent intro
about Nikki from North Carolina. So that's not silly. Oh
I hate you. Wait your bumper. So the Mastermind is

(02:42):
running CBS.

Speaker 1 (02:43):
You think I think the mastermind is the the CEO,
the head of the network.

Speaker 2 (02:47):
Dude, hey to me either way. All right, welcome to
Big Bro Club. We're talking about week three.

Speaker 1 (02:57):
What an iconic voice that guy had.

Speaker 2 (03:00):
All right, we're talking about week three of Big Brother.
My name is Pete and I'm in love with Julie
Chin Moonvez. And then we have Chase, who is in
love with his wife. You know, I don't get I
don't get into a fun bit.

Speaker 1 (03:15):
Nope, I was gonna I was gonna say ava, I
was gonna say aa, or even Keanu. I Keanu man
big people hate him in that house, and we'll talk
about you.

Speaker 2 (03:24):
And he doesn't do himself any favors at all.

Speaker 1 (03:26):
No, he doesn't. But I think he's a great, uh,
very entertaining person to watch. We're covering episode six, seven
and eight. Episode seven, not a lot happened that episode.
Episode eight though jam packed, and episode six. I mean
I enjoyed all the episodes regardless. I really look forward
to Big Brother now.

Speaker 2 (03:47):
Yeah, me too.

Speaker 1 (03:47):
And it gets like as as the weeks go on,
it's getting better and better. It's one of those things
where it's like chaos builds up and there's a whole
I learned a whole thing about Big Brother strategy in
episode eight. I'm excited for us to talk about and
a little sneak peek if you're if you're gonna stick
around for this whole episode, Ladies and gentlemen, don't touch
that dial. I found out some insane lore about something

(04:10):
that happens in episode eight.

Speaker 2 (04:13):
Really, this is this some live feed stuff that I
wasn't privy to.

Speaker 1 (04:16):
Well, I do have some live feed stuff, but this
is actually Big Brother history stuff and outside of the
game information.

Speaker 2 (04:23):
Okay, sounds very intriguing. The show it had. We have
an intro, now, yeah, do you like it? I think
it's it's kind of lame. I don't know.

Speaker 1 (04:35):
Oh, I just skip it because I don't have time
to sit there, and I watched it the first time
because it was new. But I mean it's at the
cutout letters thing, you know, it fits the vibe.

Speaker 2 (04:48):
Though. I want to start this week by highlighting Jimmy
because Amy says she's so relieved that she's not on
the block, but in the event that Jimmy had to pivot,
she said, it's an easy move for a weenie and
Jimmy is a weenie. And we know this because Chase
informed me that Jimmy has stolen all of his lines
from drag queens who are funnier than him.

Speaker 1 (05:09):
Dude, he's he has stolen all of these pre rehearsed
lines from RuPaul's drag race. He's such a loser and
and and I don't feel this strongly about reality TV
contestants often I can't stay at them. He's I know
he's on my team. He's on my team because of you,
and I want him gone.

Speaker 2 (05:30):
I want him gone now, all right. You know, like
when I've been left with people in the Survivor draft
because I've picked first a number of times, and I'm
always happy to take them in. You know, I think
I think you should be a better team manager and
really support your players. I support the good players like
Ava and Keanu. And I don't know if I would

(05:51):
call Keanu a good player, but uh, you know, Rachel,
She confronts Keanu, accusing him of voting for Amy and
winning a power you know, two things he very much did.
But Keanu's like, no, no, I didn't no, But then
Rachel stares him down. Yeah, for like but a full
twenty seconds. It was awesome.

Speaker 1 (06:10):
The funniest part was production puts sound effects over their
facial expressions.

Speaker 2 (06:15):
Oh sick. She stared him down and then just goes okay,
so like very much being obvious about the fact she
didn't believe him. And then Keanu says, glad we had
this talk and like he thought everything was fine, and
then Panda ava and she looks extremely uncomfortable. So she's
always given the best facial expressions.

Speaker 1 (06:33):
She's awesome, and I think even the next thing that
happens in this episode is her workout compilation.

Speaker 2 (06:39):
Well, which can we call it that? It's hysterical, dude.

Speaker 1 (06:43):
She's she's trying to work out because everybody's working her out,
but she's just got like boxing gloves.

Speaker 2 (06:47):
She's kind of like punching the a yeah, or she's
like swinging a weight around not really doing anything. She
is so funny, dude. Yeah, they should have had her
doing yoga like what happened?

Speaker 1 (06:59):
Uh?

Speaker 2 (06:59):
Oh. So the next thing was Jimmy critiquing Rachel's fashion sense,
which I think is completely ridiculous because like Jimmy walks
around looking like Lord Farquaad and then Rachel is like
stunning and radiant and mother and whatever they say on Twitter,
and he can't come at her for how they dress
because I mean, you know, wait till she's wearing a

(07:22):
gown at least, like like she said before.

Speaker 1 (07:24):
But dude, he was so mean. And then Rachel was
like a good sport about it. She's like, oh, he's
a little mean, but we get along fine. And it's like, no, dude,
he's being a dick. He's not being funny. A lot
of people think that like a personality traits. He's such
a poser. Man, I don't like him. I don't like
him at all. I don't like being this harsh about
reality TV contestants. But you know what, his ass is

(07:47):
grass and I'm a lawnmower.

Speaker 2 (07:49):
Once you plagiarize other reality TV stars, you really open
yourself up for criticism. But I agree Rachel seemed to
enjoy it. Yeah, she liked the ribbing.

Speaker 1 (08:01):
She and this is something that comes up later because
Rachel kind of has a breakdown and later in the week.
And one thing that I thought was so funny about
Rachel is I think that she really likes how mean
he is, because later on she says, you know, this
game has changed so much. This isn't the same Big
Brother that I played. I have to be nice to pee.

Speaker 2 (08:22):
Yeah, but she played what ten years ago? Maybe? Yeah?

Speaker 1 (08:28):
Yeah, it was early on. Yeah, so so ten fifteen
years ago maybe.

Speaker 2 (08:32):
Next up, we got Will talking about his twenty two
years of service and like he bonded with the people
over that, and especially Zach. Zach cracked me up because
he was acting like it was just Will who like
saved the world.

Speaker 1 (08:49):
I know he didn't mean it that way, but it's
kind of how across that way Zach comes across very dramatic,
but in that like frat guy dramatic. So he was like,
I can't remember the exact he says, but he goes,
because of Will, I have the freedom to be here
right now.

Speaker 2 (09:05):
I've got I've got the quote. I now have my
freedom because of what he did, and like, yeah, I
get what he means, and he's right, ultimately, he's right,
but it sounds like he's saying Will is solely responsible
for his freedom. Ye Will killed Hitler. Will was the

(09:25):
guy that shot Osama bin Laden.

Speaker 1 (09:27):
Yeah, Will did all of it, and now we are free.

Speaker 2 (09:33):
Very funny, very funny. Yeah, but yeah, thank you will
for your service. Next up, Katherine and Lauren are Besti's
in the house now, Yeah.

Speaker 1 (09:42):
They are, and they have been for a while, but
it's really predominated now it's official.

Speaker 2 (09:48):
Yeah yeah, yeah, they went public. Even though Catherine said
that she wouldn't take Lauren to the end.

Speaker 1 (09:54):
She said she said her number one was not Catherine.
Lauren even says that her number one is not Catherine.
So shaky alliance there. Yeah, and now it's time to
pick players for the Veto competition. Keanu activates his power
and and so well, first of all, you know, Jimmy

(10:14):
throws a whole fit about Keanu. I have a clip.

Speaker 2 (10:20):
Play the clip if you've got the clip. Yeah, So
Keanu activates it, and then we get Keanu versus Jimmy.
What is it? Part three? Part four? I've lost track
at this point.

Speaker 1 (10:32):
Jimmy. The only person that lie to hear is you. Brother.
You look me straight in the eye and told me
if you want to h oh, you would not put
me up. You were lying to me when you lied
about the power clubs. Cut back down because you belong
on that chair.

Speaker 2 (10:42):
How have your moment? This is your moment?

Speaker 1 (10:44):
Have that because You're not gonna have that anymore. Sit
back down.

Speaker 2 (10:46):
My moment, Jimmy does all about you.

Speaker 1 (10:48):
My moment is winning out from here on out and
picking you off all one by one.

Speaker 2 (10:53):
Keanu made a little mistake there. He was really coming
across as the victim in the situation until he then
targeted every every single person in the house. Yes, oh man.

Speaker 1 (11:04):
Uh when he said the pick you off one by
one thing, everyone got upset. Other people started jumping into
the argument, especially Ashley. I don't here's something that someone said.
Someone said, I can't believe Keanu said he wants to
pick us off one by one. And when they said that,
I was like, is that not the point of the
game though, Like, you're all here to win, so you're

(11:26):
all here to pick people off one by one.

Speaker 2 (11:29):
I don't know.

Speaker 1 (11:29):
I felt like everybody targets Keanu and it's like, no,
he's right, he's just trying to win.

Speaker 2 (11:34):
But you shouldn't say that. No, even if he's right,
you should you should not say it.

Speaker 1 (11:39):
No. But I didn't understand why everybody was so shocked.
What do you mean he's trying to pick us off
one by one? He's like, well, that's the game, right, But.

Speaker 2 (11:47):
I think part of the game also is not saying
things like that, yeah, yeah, that's right what they take
an issue with. And I bet Ashley was really excited
about there being another like scandal besides shower game. That
shit could like, you know, latch onto. Yeah, it didn't
involve her. So the people who are gonna play, it's
the three people on the block, Kelly, Keanu, and Adrian. Right,

(12:12):
and then because Keanu uses his summoning an old player power,
he gets challenge Beast Casey.

Speaker 1 (12:20):
Casey, who is a former winner and she was considered
like a huge challenge Beast.

Speaker 2 (12:26):
I thought it was so cool. Yeah, that was awesome.

Speaker 1 (12:30):
So it's time for the Power of Veto competitions one more.

Speaker 2 (12:34):
Actually, oh oh, that's.

Speaker 1 (12:36):
Right, because they pulled the name from the Yeah, they
pulled the name and it was Jimmy, and Jimmy's already participating.

Speaker 2 (12:42):
So he gets to select, and he picks Ava. I'm
assuming because he thought she would do bad and he
was right, and he was very right.

Speaker 1 (12:49):
But and we'll get to this at a second, she
doesn't do the worst. Nope, guys, it's time for the
Power of Vito competition and these are dressed like plants.

Speaker 2 (12:59):
It's time for the Power of Veto Challenge time with
Chase or whatever the power.

Speaker 1 (13:05):
Yeah, we need a what's a good thing for the Veto?
The power of Veto, power of Veto.

Speaker 3 (13:13):
I've got the power.

Speaker 2 (13:15):
Okay, bucket book it brother.

Speaker 1 (13:20):
All right, guys, it's time for uh. I got the.

Speaker 2 (13:24):
With with Chase.

Speaker 1 (13:25):
I'm gonna talk about the power of Veto competition. These
guys are dressed like plants. They see is the mystery
competitor for Keanu. Casey is a former winner and a
challenge Beast.

Speaker 2 (13:34):
Guys. The challenge that we have is you have to
hold onto the wall. Honestly, I'm jealous. This is perfect Gill,
one of them. I'd be able to bag any buff
it costs my pat I just Riley bombed you in
the middle of your challenge explanation. But he said that,
and I was like, I hate him. I want av
on my team. I hate everything he says, all right,

(13:57):
continue what man, it's a perfect.

Speaker 1 (14:00):
Suit hunting suit. I like how he had to clarify
for the people that aren't from the South. Yeah, but yeah, yeah, yeah, Uh.
What you have to do is you have to hold
onto the wall. You're pressing two buttons while you're leaned
up against the wall until the quote unquote celebrity says
the word creeper. Then you will all race down the lane.

Speaker 2 (14:22):
And it was a past Big brother player, wasn't it.

Speaker 1 (14:25):
Yeah? But they yeah, yeah, it was, but they kept
calling her a celebrity.

Speaker 2 (14:28):
It was her name. I forgot what her name was.

Speaker 1 (14:31):
I didn't catch her name. I don't know anything about
Big Brothers, so I didn't even know it was a
former player until.

Speaker 2 (14:36):
It was like a more recent player I think, like
the past. Yeah, three or four seasons maybe, Yeah, But.

Speaker 1 (14:42):
They kept calling her, calling her a celebrity. Then they
race down the lane and press a button. The last
person to press the button in each round is eliminated.
The first one eliminated is Kelly, by a mild dude.
I mean, Kelly was going so slow that even Ava,

(15:02):
who also wasn't doing the best, like I mean, by
like a solid two seconds, got to.

Speaker 2 (15:08):
The end of the lane before her brutal performance. And
it would really suck to dress up like that and
then not perform well, I think.

Speaker 1 (15:18):
And it was like everyone seemed to understand the best
strategy was hopping, except for her. She was running tiny
little steps. It was so interesting, very funny though. The
next one to get out is Ava, but she really
gave it her all.

Speaker 2 (15:32):
It was a very close.

Speaker 1 (15:35):
Next up, Amy says that she has oracle cards so that.

Speaker 2 (15:39):
She can talk to angels.

Speaker 1 (15:42):
In a confessional in the middle of this, I don't
understand why.

Speaker 2 (15:45):
Yes, oracle cards, So you.

Speaker 1 (15:48):
Said, yeah, she has oracle cards so that she can
talk to angels.

Speaker 2 (15:53):
Anyway. Next up is Jimmy.

Speaker 1 (15:55):
Jimmy gets out because he lets go of his button
early and is eliminated. Good when that's exactly what I
wrote my notes, I just put good period.

Speaker 2 (16:05):
Really wow.

Speaker 1 (16:06):
Yeah, I hate Jimmy, hate him.

Speaker 2 (16:09):
Uh. Keanu's odds are.

Speaker 1 (16:10):
Fantastic at this point because after Jimmy's out, it's just
Keanu and he has his power player Casey, who are
both still in and then Adrian, so Adrian is the
only person left in the game that's not playing for Keanu.
But then this is I want to get your opinion
on this. Supposedly Keanu lets go of the button early

(16:32):
and I don't like it.

Speaker 2 (16:34):
Didn't look like it and he seemed really shocked. What
do you think I think if he if he had
some gripe about like that. No, I didn't he would
have been saying that did he I don't.

Speaker 1 (16:46):
Well, what he did is he kind of looked back
and he was just like ah, man, really like it
just seemed like he really didn't think that he let
go and I was looking at his hand.

Speaker 2 (16:54):
It didn't really look at it, but it must have.
It must happen. Yeah, it must have slipped. Let it go,
Chase Kanu. He still won, but he didn't win.

Speaker 1 (17:02):
Yeah. Yeah, So Keanu's out. So now it's just Casey
and Adrian left. Casey is like the pressure is on
because in her mind she's like, hey, I've been brought
back to be this challenge beast.

Speaker 2 (17:14):
If I don't win this.

Speaker 1 (17:16):
She even says this kid could go home, which I
thought was very funny. She didn't look that much older
than him, but she's like, this kid could go home,
and I mean it's true. If she did not win this,
Keanu was gonna go home. Yep, dude.

Speaker 2 (17:29):
In an epic moment, Casey.

Speaker 1 (17:31):
Dives for the win and Keanu gets the golden power
of veto. I want to bring up one more thing
that we learned from one of our patrons this week,
who has been, who have been giving us some advice
and tips on like how Big Brother works, the history
of the Veto. It used to just be the power
of Veto and you were allowed to use it on

(17:52):
anyone on the block except for yourself. Then they introduced
the Golden Power of Veto, which you were to use
on yourself or someone else on the block.

Speaker 2 (18:03):
Yeah, that would suck if you want a competition and
can't even save yourself.

Speaker 1 (18:07):
Yeah yeah, yeah, But I also think that previously everyone
played for the power of Veto. It wasn't a select few,
so your odds of actually winning it when you were
on the block were slim, and I think like back
then it was all about trying to convince the person
who won the power of Veto to play it for you.

Speaker 2 (18:24):
Interesting. Yeah, we'll have to watch old Big Brother at
some point. Yeah, we'll have to hop in the Big
Brother time machine. Brother.

Speaker 1 (18:32):
It's a little tough with the forty episodes thing.

Speaker 2 (18:34):
But yeah, yeah, yeah, but we'll see.

Speaker 1 (18:37):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (18:38):
But I thought the potted plant outfit thing was awesome,
and then by the end of it, it's like such
an intense moment her diving you don't even you're not
even thinking about the fact that they look ridiculous.

Speaker 1 (18:48):
Yeah, it was awesome. One last thing about the power
of veto competition. Everyone goes inside except for Casey, who's
still in the backyard, and they kind of implied that
Casey's just stuck back there. She like looks up at
the camera, She's like hello, and then they just got away. Yeah,
she just lives in the garden. Now she's one of
the plans.

Speaker 2 (19:07):
Yeah, until somebody summons her again, she will be stuck.
That awesome. So now Jimmy has to nominate two extra people,
and he wants to nominate Amy and Will and then
Mickey thinks this is a bitch move, because it is.
And Mickey tells Morgan. Morgan's pissed about it. And now
they're turning on Jimmy. These people were in the Triple
Thread alliance, and it looks like Jimmy's days are numbered.

Speaker 1 (19:31):
That that's kind of the theme of this whole week narratively,
the Morgan and Mickey who people call eminem.

Speaker 2 (19:37):
Okay, so that's why the person said, because I got
Eminem Morgan Mickey.

Speaker 1 (19:42):
Very strong, very strong alliance.

Speaker 2 (19:45):
But on Jimmy, I mean I wasn't sure about Morgan
because of the whole gamer girl thing, but but it
seems like she's she has more going on than call
of duty. Yeah, so Jimmy, uh, you know, they don't
think he's committed. And then Mickey on the flip side,
never told Jimmy about her power because he's the hoh

(20:07):
and that would Yeah, it wouldn't be good for him
to know about that. So not much of an alliance. No,
not much of an alliance at all.

Speaker 1 (20:15):
We get through all, We get through the whole week
with Jimmy not knowing that she has that power, which
is really insane. Yeah.

Speaker 2 (20:22):
Next up, I was about to say, please, I want uh,
I want your reaction to the amazing conversation between Rachel
and Keanu.

Speaker 1 (20:31):
Yeah, dude, this was so funny because again it just
shows that Keanu's not the best at like knowing what
not to say. Like I don't think that there's anything
wrong with what he said, but it's like maybe not
the best idea. So this is what happens. Rachel and
Keanu are just having a conversation. And Rachel, because she
seems to be very uh when it comes to her

(20:51):
big brother seasons, she's very proud of those.

Speaker 2 (20:55):
So she goes, so have you seen my seasons?

Speaker 1 (20:58):
And Keanu's like, yeah, dude, I have seen the seasons,
but I watched compilations, and he just starts listing moments
the highlights. He starts listing the moments like kind of
the highlights of the season, but it's just moments where
she's getting roasted from the by this other guy in
the house. And Rachel thinks that Keanu is trying to

(21:18):
play like forty chess with her and like try to
make her feel less than or intimidated.

Speaker 2 (21:25):
It's like it's like this whole thing.

Speaker 1 (21:27):
She blows up all them storms away. Kyoto goes, did
did I say something wrong? She thinks that he's like
this genius and was trying to manipulate her, but in reality,
he was just like, oh, I loved your season. It
was really funny when that guy said.

Speaker 2 (21:39):
That thing to you. She thinks that he's being malicious,
but it turns out he's just kind of dumb.

Speaker 1 (21:46):
Yeah, he's just a lot dumb.

Speaker 2 (21:48):
And he stn't have a read of what was going on,
but he should have because I first of all saying yeah,
I watched the highlights sounds pretty dismissive, Like if somebody
tells me they watch football and like, yeah, I catch
the highlights something, then you don't know what's going on.
And then uh, the other part of it, which was
Keanu like bringing up the two two separate incidents of

(22:12):
a guy roasting her as the only thing Yeah, yeah,
which was wild.

Speaker 1 (22:17):
But in his defense, those are the only highlights I've
seen from that season two. It's like the most it's
like one of the most popular things that's ever happened
in Big Brother was that interaction?

Speaker 2 (22:27):
Wow? Okay, so maybe Rachel should have seen it coming.
But unless you have anything to add, Next up is
the BB Blockbuster, The BB Blockbuster. I've got the power.

Speaker 1 (22:41):
It doesn't work for but you know, all right, the
Big Brother Blockbuster.

Speaker 2 (22:46):
It's just uh no, no, no, no no, it's not the
Big Brother Blockbusters Challenge.

Speaker 1 (22:53):
Mystery Power of Challenge. Sorry skipped a little bit, PD Brother,
What do you do?

Speaker 2 (23:00):
This is a new show for me, all right, it's
the Mystery. So Kelly, she uses her power that she
won in the sewer. Then she has to basically she
just has to build a puzzle. And it wasn't there
wasn't that much. She essentially has two minutes to complete
a puzzle. Kelly starts a little Kelly Chant for herself

(23:22):
as she's doing the puzzle, which I think is very funny.
I did not join in me neither. I do like Kelly.

Speaker 1 (23:29):
I think she's weird and wacky and very funny. But
I did not participate in the Kelly Chant, and neither
did any of the housemates that were watching on the
TV screen. Yeah, she nails it with twenty five seconds remaining.
It looked like a pretty easy puzzle. That's one thing
I've noticed so far from Big Brother is all the
puzzles pretty simple. And I wonder if it's so different

(23:49):
from Survivor because it's like the intelligence levels kind of
lower in the Big.

Speaker 2 (23:57):
I don't know if I would say that.

Speaker 1 (24:00):
I mean, on Survivor you'll have like astrophysicists. Yeah, but
three D Prince puzzles and practice. That guy's an idiot.
But sorry, Carson. Anyway, I was about to literally, I
was about to say, I think Mickey and Morgan are
smarter than anybody on Survivor season forty four. I agree,

(24:24):
I agree.

Speaker 2 (24:24):
Oh, actually, jam Jam, I'll say jam Jam is a
smart one and then Mickey and Morgan are smarter than
everybody else on that season.

Speaker 1 (24:32):
That's a fair assisment, all right, Uh.

Speaker 2 (24:36):
Yeah, Kelly does it? Woo who. I wasn't happy about that.
I wanted her to be the one going home.

Speaker 1 (24:41):
Really, now, do you like Kelly?

Speaker 2 (24:43):
She's on your team? I just want people to Yeah,
it's about the draft, I mean. And as far as
like liking Kelly, eh, I'm neutral on Kelly. I don't
I don't really dislike her, but she is kind of
a weirdo, and I don't really like Ava is a
weirdo I connect with, not necessarily Kelly, but Vince. So
Vince has to pick two more people, yes, and he

(25:07):
so in addition to Adrian, who was not able to
save him.

Speaker 1 (25:10):
Such, Jimmy has to put up two more people, not Vince.

Speaker 2 (25:13):
Oh yeah, my bad?

Speaker 1 (25:15):
Uh you here are you here today? Brother?

Speaker 2 (25:18):
Just just because I got the white guys mixed up?
You think I'm not here? So Jimmy cartoon villain Jimmy
has to pick two new people, and he picks game
Cock Will and crying Amy Gamecock Will.

Speaker 1 (25:37):
It was such a loser move or Amy would call
a weenie move.

Speaker 2 (25:41):
And do you know how I felt about it.

Speaker 1 (25:43):
How do you feel?

Speaker 3 (25:45):
I am disappointed, I am pissed off, I am highly upset,
I'm mad every adjective you can think of.

Speaker 2 (25:53):
Every adjective, dude. And it is because Chase picked the
three people on the block, and I was like, wonderful.
He says, is like he's like guaranteed to lose one
of his draft picks on the first week. It's like,
what a stupid thing Chase did. And then and then
cut to we actually get to the nominations, two of
your people take themselves off the block and are replaced

(26:14):
by two of my players, giving me a sixty six
percent chance of losing a player instead of your one
hundred percent chance that it was. And four, Yeah, I
was pissed off. I was mad, just like will Yeah.

Speaker 1 (26:26):
But here's the thing about me, brother, and I don't
know if you know this or not, but even if
the odds are stacked against me and there's a one
hundred percent chance as someone on my team's going home,
you forgot that I can always turn one hundred percent
into thirty three percent and turn your zero percent into
sixty six percent. Because this isn't survivor, baby, This is
Big Brother. We got eight challenges a week at this show, Dude,

(26:47):
there's hidden advantages and challenges and power ups. Just because
someone's put on the block doesn't mean that they're getting
sent down the block back home like Zay did.

Speaker 2 (27:00):
That's right.

Speaker 1 (27:01):
I'm a little bit kicked up. I got nice bunts.
What can I say?

Speaker 2 (27:04):
What can I shut out? Shut out? Today? So I mean,
what are your notes on this episode? Because mine, you know,
before the infamous Jewelie moment, all I had was like
Will calls Jimmy's decision a bitch ass move because Will
is correct.

Speaker 1 (27:19):
Yeah, I've actually got I've got a handful of notes
through episode seven.

Speaker 2 (27:22):
I could walk us through this one if you like.
Everyone in the house.

Speaker 1 (27:27):
Seems pretty dead set that they want to keep Will
in the house. Everybody loves Will, so Hitler exactly. It's
because of Will that we are a country. Thankful he
threw the tea into the harbor. Basically anything that's ever

(27:48):
happened in American history that was Will.

Speaker 2 (27:51):
Yeah, okay, so uh.

Speaker 1 (27:54):
And because everyone feels very strongly about Will staying in
the game, that does not look good for Amy. And
who's the other person on the block.

Speaker 2 (28:04):
Uh, I mean Kelly. Wait, no, Kelly takes herself off
the block Will Adrian and oh okay, so Adrian Kelly.

Speaker 1 (28:13):
So because everyone is dead set on Will staying in
the house, that doesn't look good for Adrian or.

Speaker 2 (28:21):
Amy.

Speaker 1 (28:22):
So what Rachel starts doing is she walks around in
all black for Amy's funeral because she's so dramatic.

Speaker 2 (28:30):
This is awesome. And that's what I meant about the
Jimmy can't come at her for the fashion sense because
Rachel looks so much better than him. She's awesome.

Speaker 1 (28:39):
Speaking of Rachel, everyone is so afraid of her and
and like.

Speaker 2 (28:45):
It's just one of those things, like everyone.

Speaker 1 (28:47):
We get several confessionals in episode seven where they're like,
I don't know if I want to go up against
Rachel and vote Amy out, And it's like, guys, if
Rachel is that scary, send her home.

Speaker 2 (28:57):
And that's what Jimmy should have done.

Speaker 1 (28:58):
Instead of putting Will up on block, he could have
made a really big move. Put Rachel on the block.
Then Rachel and Amy are both on the block. Everyone
likes Will. That means that you're guaranteed to get rid
of either Rachel or Amy. And if everyone's so scared
of Rachel.

Speaker 2 (29:14):
They could just.

Speaker 1 (29:14):
Send her home and then Amy would stay, who's not
as big of a threat as Rachel. But it was
a Weeni move.

Speaker 2 (29:20):
I'd rather than not put Rachel on the block. Actually,
I don't care what they should do. I want Rachel
to win Big Brother twenty seven.

Speaker 1 (29:28):
I'm just talking strategy wise, you know, But I agree
Rachel's awesome.

Speaker 2 (29:33):
No strategy from me.

Speaker 1 (29:36):
U. We then get the Big Brother Blockbuster, which it's
thee B B BLA BA the first person to complete
a fingerprint puzzle. So this is another puzzle challenge. Adrian
is up against two older people. And what's interesting is
you would think, because this is a puzzle challenge, age

(29:58):
and physical ability wouldn't necessarily matter. It should be a
mental thing. But there's so much running back and forth
with these giant puzzle pieces.

Speaker 2 (30:05):
It's very evident that.

Speaker 1 (30:06):
Adrian, being so much younger, worked in his advantage because
he speeds through the puzzle while the other two were
struggling to even get their pieces back and forth.

Speaker 2 (30:15):
I thought it was weird that they hung on a
single shot the whole time. I noticed that.

Speaker 1 (30:20):
Yeah, yeah, that was very interesting, and I think it's
because it's the Blockbuster Arena. They used to call it
the AI Arena. It's like a certain set, so I
think maybe they just have that one. When did they
call it the AI arena two or three years ago?

Speaker 2 (30:33):
Two or three so it did stand for Artificial intelligence aereena.
What does that mean?

Speaker 1 (30:37):
I think it's because it's that virtual set. Those walls
that we saw last week are the virtual that I
don't know that's not AI. Okay, email us making the
merch pod at gmail dot com. Yes, I think it's
making the merged pod at gmail dot com.

Speaker 2 (30:56):
I think that's what I said podcast. Oh whoops? All right,
BB block Buzzer O game.

Speaker 1 (31:06):
Adrian wins, which means that he is now taken off
the block, which means it's just amy and will.

Speaker 2 (31:12):
Sucks for me. Yeah, absolutely brutal.

Speaker 3 (31:16):
So I am disappointed, I am pissed off, I am
highly upset a man, every adjective.

Speaker 2 (31:24):
You can think of, because now I'm gonna lose a player.

Speaker 1 (31:27):
Yeah, I went from having one hundred percent to you
having a one hundred and ten percent because there's no
more safety checks out. The two of them get to
kind of make a speech to their players before the
voting happens. One funny thing that happens is Amy is
talking about Will and accidentally slips up and says great
wife instead of great man.

Speaker 2 (31:47):
I thought that was funny. She's like, Will is a
great wife, I mean a great, great guy. How did
I How did I miss that one? Maybe I just
forgot about it? Very funny because I was focused on
the other moment that happens, Yeah, why don't you take
this one? Because you love this so much? I did
love it. So Will is talking about his wife, who
he affectionately referred to as his chocolate drop, and then

(32:10):
Julie butts in and says, can I be your lemon drop? Then?
And dude, mike drop moment, Will stands up. He doesn't
know what to say. He's like, he's got his hand up,
he's trying to say something. And she goes sit down,
sit down, and like, if your wife is mad, tell
her it was a joke.

Speaker 1 (32:27):
And just like, dude, faller move, I could not believe it.
That's why I opened up with it.

Speaker 2 (32:32):
I'm in love with Julie Chin Moonvest because yeah, that's
just an insane joke to make.

Speaker 1 (32:38):
Well, it's a it's a race joke, which is wild,
but it's also a joke about like.

Speaker 2 (32:43):
A racial joke about sleeping with a married man. Yeah
it is. I love it. I love it. I love
Julie and I follow her morning routine because I've been
on her Instagram, and dude, Julie is wild. Dude. I mean,
I don't know how old she is, but I mean
she's old enough to where like she should She shouldn't

(33:05):
be as good as social media. Yeah, as she is,
but her. I follow her morning routine and it's it's insane.
I'm about have to send it to you. She's fifty
five years old. Fifty five, okay, Yeah, she's just great
at Instagram reels and TikTok heck yeah, dudell.

Speaker 1 (33:21):
I mean she's a pro. She's worked for CBS for
twenty seven years. Here's the thing about Julie, and I
could be wrong about this. People can email us. I
think Julie hosts every iteration of American Big Brother, like
Celebrity Big Brother and everything. I think she hosts all
of them. Oh really, but I don't know. I don't
know if that's the case, but I don't know. Okay,

(33:42):
time to vote. It's a un it's a unanimous decision
thirteen to oh. Even Rachel votes.

Speaker 2 (33:52):
For Amy, which was crazy, but I guess not. She
just she knew where it was going and she didn't
want to rock the boat. But other people were like, wow,
she can do this to her own friend then, But
I mean, everyone knew she was ruthless already, so it
didn't matter. But when they showed Rachel voting, I was surprised.

Speaker 1 (34:12):
Yeah, I was too. I really was surprised. I didn't
think that it was gonna be unanimous decision, but it
must have been pretty solid behind the scenes that everyone
knew what they were doing, and we don't get to
see that. And that's something that we'll talk about in
episode eight because it's part of the lower stuff. But
it's like there's a whole other side of this show
that if you don't watch the live feeds, you miss

(34:32):
out on.

Speaker 2 (34:33):
Okay, And is that what you're gonna tell us about now? Like,
do you have any we were you watching the live
feeds or are you just getting highlights?

Speaker 1 (34:41):
No? I'm getting highlights like Keanu, I'm just every time
I open Twitter. Now I don't even follow any Big
Brother accounts, but my whole Twitter feed is just Big
Brother live updates.

Speaker 2 (34:53):
Well, hey man, maybe if you got off that Nazi
app then you wouldn't see it. Yeah. Man, I'm just
like on Twitter driving a Tesla.

Speaker 1 (35:04):
And you know, luckily Will showed up and killed Adolf
Hitler what he did, Yeah, because it was gonna get bad. No,
I don't have a tesla. One last thing I'll go
into the kind of the live feed discussion in episode eight.
One last thing that happens in episode seven is as
Amy is leaving the house, she starts yelling, get Jimmy out.

Speaker 2 (35:25):
He's a snake and a liar. Facts. That was wild.
I do like how it's live and there's no music,
and you just you hear all the mics, like no,
there's no editing on the mics, and like when people
are hugging, you can kind of like hear the the
rough rustling and with the shirt and everything, and it's

(35:46):
just it makes it a more intense moment because you
really feel there's no production value. You just feel this person.

Speaker 1 (35:53):
Leaving the show. It's really interesting. That's how they should
do like drama shows too. It's like like when someone
gets killed off and breaking bad or whatever they like
take their mic off, take off their their wig or whatever,
and they leave the set and they're whoa, it's really over.

Speaker 2 (36:11):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (36:12):
That brings us to episode eight, and this episode in particular,
because all week I got the head of Household competition.

Speaker 2 (36:20):
Spoiled for me from the live feeds.

Speaker 1 (36:23):
And this is my question to all of you Big
Brother Diehard fans listening, what is up with that? You
guys just watch the live feeds all the time and
you just get the episode spoiled for you.

Speaker 2 (36:35):
I guess they don't care until because the eviction is
live and nobody can have that spoiled for them.

Speaker 1 (36:44):
Yeah. Yeah, but it's like, you know, I was wanting
to wait until the episode to see who won the
Head of Household, but it seems like there's less of
an emphasis on that because guys, the stuff in the
live feed. It's like I was seeing tweets all week
about stuff that was going on and I was like,
oh my god, this episode is gonna be insane. I
cannot wait for this week's episode. And then the episode,

(37:06):
none of the stuff I was seeing on Twitter was
in the episode.

Speaker 2 (37:10):
Wow, there was a whole disappoint line.

Speaker 1 (37:12):
There's a whole storyline in the house about how Lauren
was this terrible head of household who couldn't make a
decision and was like going around to everyone be like
what should I do? What should I do? But if
you watch the edit, if you watch the episode, it
looks like she had a pretty clear idea from the beginning.

Speaker 2 (37:28):
What she was gonna do. Yeah, I mean, I will
say she didn't look confident at any point.

Speaker 1 (37:34):
Right, She's not a good leader. I don't know why
she wanted this so bad exactly, And apparently in the
live feeds it's even crazier, and like, here's a whole
thing about the live feeds is Ashley is supposedly very
hated by everyone in the house and she has done
these like crazy things that people have gotten upset of

(37:57):
her about, and we don't get any hint of that
except for when Keanu says something when he's talking to
Lauren where he goes she's so inconsiderate.

Speaker 2 (38:05):
Because like apparently on one of the live feeds.

Speaker 1 (38:08):
She like refused to help clean up because she has
a maid at her house so she's not used to
cleaning or something like that, And then someone else even
says something about Ashley later on in that same episode
where they're like, uh, you could put you put Ashley up,
no one would be upset.

Speaker 2 (38:25):
Apparently there's this whole side of stuff.

Speaker 1 (38:27):
That's happening that if you don't keep up with the
live feeds, you have no idea. Hmm.

Speaker 2 (38:33):
Maybe they want to look out for people a little bit,
not make them like super hated.

Speaker 1 (38:38):
But but I mean, I guess it's also it's just
like you can't put everything in an hour long episode. Yeah,
so I guess like for diehard Big Brother fans, it's
kind of like you get two different shows. Like you're
watching the live feeds all week, and that's when you
learn like who the head of household is.

Speaker 2 (38:55):
That's when you learn all of.

Speaker 1 (38:56):
These big players making all these moves. And then the
episodes are kind of more like a recap highlight reel
with some extra stuff like actually getting to see the competitions.

Speaker 2 (39:06):
Yeah, but for me actually getting to see the competition,
it's like the I don't like thing. Yeah, that's why
you tune in for the suspense of like who's gonna
get it? So it's interesting. It's a different mentality that
it's more reality TV based.

Speaker 1 (39:23):
They're more interested in the inner personal connections and drama.
I guess it's very fascinating. This has been a really
fun experience. But okay, yeah, that's enough of my live
feed rant.

Speaker 3 (39:34):
Go for it.

Speaker 2 (39:36):
Uh and I'll just say, Julie, you can be my
lemon drop any day. So we start episode nine with
Amy and uh, well, actually we didn't start it with
Amy because she's gone. We started it with the Amy fallout. Yes,
Rachel's pretty torn up about it, and then Morgan's not
happy about it either, and then Ava. You know, I

(39:57):
might not have Ava on my team, but Ava is
now the number one ally of Rachel. Rachel, Yeah, how
do you feel about that?

Speaker 1 (40:08):
I think it's very apparent from watching the episodes that
Ava is loved by everyone. Like Ava goes room to
room every group she is involved in. There's like there's
no one that does not like Ava, and I think
that that means she could win this game.

Speaker 2 (40:23):
I think so too. And then you know who everyone hates,
Jimmy and especially Morgan and Mickey.

Speaker 1 (40:30):
Yeah, I didn't want to bring up one thing that
happened that Rachel says right before the h O wage competition.
This is where we kind of see the beginning of
her psyche kind of breaking a little bit. She says
that she's really concerned because she was not able to
sway the house. I thought that was very interesting because
it's like in her mind she was like, I'll just

(40:50):
convince everyone to keep Amy.

Speaker 2 (40:51):
But Amy going.

Speaker 1 (40:52):
Home was like the first time she realized, oh, I'm
not invincible.

Speaker 2 (40:58):
She can't just tell everybody buddy what to do exactly.

Speaker 1 (41:02):
And then another thing that happens right before the HH
competition is we get a confessional from Adrian, which is
always nice.

Speaker 2 (41:08):
I like Adrian.

Speaker 1 (41:10):
He says that he is an alliance with Will and
that they think Keanu flipped on Will, so they don't
like Keanu either, and he even like Adrian and Keanu
are having this conversation where Kanu's super hyped up.

Speaker 2 (41:21):
He's like, that's my boy.

Speaker 1 (41:22):
There we go, Adrian, we got this, and Adrian just goes,
I'm glad you're excited, Keanu, but we're not working together.

Speaker 2 (41:29):
He doesn't say that to Keanu.

Speaker 1 (41:30):
He says it's in a confessional, but I thought it
was better if yeah, yeah.

Speaker 2 (41:36):
And then it leads us.

Speaker 1 (41:37):
To our head of household competition.

Speaker 2 (41:42):
HO challenged time with Chase.

Speaker 1 (41:46):
I like how it's impossible for us to not have
a little bit leading into the child.

Speaker 2 (41:50):
Like we could just go into it, but our our
hearts won't let us.

Speaker 1 (41:56):
For the Head of Household competition, they have to watch
interview clips and then answer true or false questions based
on what they just watched. If you answer wrong, you're out.

Speaker 2 (42:08):
Yeah, and you got to point out the interview clips
are with twins.

Speaker 1 (42:12):
Welcome to the lore section of this episode of these
two twins. The Nolan twins participated in Big Brother seventeen.

Speaker 2 (42:23):
Oh fascinating.

Speaker 1 (42:25):
They participated as the quote unquote twin twist, where they
initially pretended to be one person.

Speaker 2 (42:33):
Which allowed them to both be in the game. That's awesome. Yeah,
so one of them gets voted out and then the
other one pops in and it's like, I'm back. Wait,
but it's not me, dude.

Speaker 1 (42:44):
That means that throughout the we gotta watch Big Brother
seventeen because this one some one. That means like, at
least for a little bit of the season, they were
just like switching out in the middle of the night
so that no one knew that there was actually two
of them.

Speaker 2 (42:57):
That's I don't know, I'm but if you're just meeting somebody,
you're not going to pick up on.

Speaker 1 (43:03):
Like little exactly, especially if you don't have it in
your head that that person's a twin. Yeah, because it
would be unreasonable to just assume that who you're talking
to is a different person than you talked to yesterday.

Speaker 2 (43:17):
That medication, if that's happening, could you imagine that confessional.

Speaker 1 (43:22):
It's like Will walks into the confession room, the diar room,
and Will's like, Hey, this is gonna sound crazy, but
I think I think Adrian's not the same Adrian I
spoke to yesterday.

Speaker 2 (43:37):
Ashley got the first question wrong?

Speaker 1 (43:39):
Or no, No, I've got more Lord about the twins. Yes,
everyone on Twitter starts going crazy when the Nolan twins
show up on Big Brother, because they go, I cannot
believe that Big Brother allowed them to come back on
the show.

Speaker 2 (44:00):
You like to know, I'll give you a hint.

Speaker 1 (44:03):
They in the same conversation, They're like, yeah, I was
also shocked when Survivor let Ausy come back.

Speaker 2 (44:10):
Oh Jesus, no, okay, moving Nolan.

Speaker 1 (44:13):
The Nolan twins are nicknamed by the Internet the quote
unquote incest twins because they have a shared only fans
account together.

Speaker 2 (44:34):
I was like, what's loud enough to where they can't
hear what you're saying anymore? That needs to be kept hidden. No, man,
that's what the whole internet is talking about. This is
what Big Brother is like.

Speaker 1 (44:44):
Man, all right, this isn't Survivor.

Speaker 2 (44:47):
Well, Survivor apparently is like this too. Now welcome back. Okay,
So that much time for this challenge? Yeah?

Speaker 1 (44:56):
No, I mean I I gave the rules of the challenge,
which is okay, true or false questions.

Speaker 2 (45:00):
And so what I wanted to point out was that
Ashley got the first question wrong and then she said,
me and Catherine have had bad vibes ever since Showergate.
She's still thinking about it.

Speaker 1 (45:12):
I think they've had interactions other than that in the
live feeds where they just do not get along. But
I think for the sake of the edit, they are
like making it seem like it's all Showergate's fault.

Speaker 2 (45:23):
Okay.

Speaker 1 (45:25):
Yeah. One thing that I really liked about this challenge
is it's fun to see everyone answer at the same time,
Like we get to see them pick true or false,
because there's like there's one point where everyone puts true
and then ava's the only one holding up.

Speaker 2 (45:38):
A false and I thought that was very funny.

Speaker 1 (45:40):
And then she also goes on to say that she
doesn't know the difference between a garage and a basement
because she doesn't own a car.

Speaker 2 (45:46):
Hmm, Ava is an enigma. I love her, She's awesome.

Speaker 1 (45:53):
So it comes down to Morgan and Lauren, which, yeah,
which is pretty crazy.

Speaker 2 (45:58):
Not Morgan Mickey. It comes down to Mickey and Morgan,
Micky and Lauren, and what's crazy?

Speaker 1 (46:03):
Me?

Speaker 2 (46:03):
God, that did it wrong again. I'm just kidding me.
I'm fine, just getting names wrong.

Speaker 1 (46:14):
So at one point five people get dropped at the
same time. This is one of the only instances where
the majority were actually in the wrong and the only
two people had the right answer, and it was going
to be just Lauren who got it right, but at
the last second, Mickey changed her answer, so then it's.

Speaker 2 (46:35):
Down to just Lauren and Mickey.

Speaker 1 (46:37):
Lauren ends up winning, which I think proves my theory
that she's actually like one of the smartest people in
the house.

Speaker 2 (46:44):
I think Mickey is, and I'm gonna stick with that
team p D all the way. Well, I mean, yeah,
that's fair, but I don't know, she doesn't I mean,
maybe it's like the lack of charisma that makes me
just not connect with her.

Speaker 1 (46:58):
Well.

Speaker 2 (46:59):
I like Lauren.

Speaker 1 (47:00):
I think she's very smart because this isn't the first
time that we saw her kind of on a different
wavelength than everyone else, Like obviously she was able.

Speaker 2 (47:06):
To remember everything better than them in this competition, but.

Speaker 1 (47:08):
Also when they were trying to figure out who the
impostor was, she was the only one saying, guys, that's
probably a woman, since when it's Rachel being introduced, would
offset the fifty to fifty balance of players.

Speaker 2 (47:21):
And what's so interesting is.

Speaker 1 (47:23):
Like everyone is really harsh on Lauren in this episode,
where like at one point Mickey goes, she has no
mind of her own, and that's pretty harsh.

Speaker 2 (47:33):
That's pretty harsh. I mean my reaction to her winning
in the first place was the same reaction that Rachel had,
which was who is that? Who is who is Lauren? Yeah?

Speaker 1 (47:46):
Everyone was super shocked that she won, and every everyone
kept saying is like, I haven't talked strategy with her.

Speaker 2 (47:52):
Yeah, And then Mickey said that basically a win for
Lauren is a win for Catherine as well because of
how tight they are, and then Vince goes to Lauren
and he's like, look, people are gonna be in your
ear and they're gonna twist your words and don't let
him get to you. And I'm just thinking, like, Vince,
you're exactly the kind of weasel that you're warning her about.

Speaker 1 (48:11):
Yeah, but then we find out that they actually have
a final two alliance that has been locked in for
a while.

Speaker 2 (48:18):
Yeah, we'll see about that. Yeah.

Speaker 1 (48:20):
I don't believe that one bit. And then Rachel, she's
big sad about yes not winning.

Speaker 2 (48:27):
H o h. She said, who am I if I
can't win? So she was like she was upset about
not being able to control the entire vote, and then
she's upset that she didn't win the competition. And then
who was consoling her of all people Showergate, Ashley, Showergate
Ashley and shower Gate.

Speaker 1 (48:45):
Yeah, Ashley has become pretty close with Eminem and Rachel.
It almost seems like they have a little bit of
an alliance.

Speaker 2 (48:51):
Which is good for me, all of my players banding together. Yeah,
and then we had, you know, we had Showergate, and
next up we have Pizzagate. Ava refers to pizza. As
she refers to pizza, Ava does she Ava refers to
pizza as a pie, and Vince has never heard this

(49:11):
in his life. Okay, he said it was because he
was from California. Yeah, and I was like, dude, that's
not an excuse. Everybody knows a pizza pie. It's a
it's a bit. It's an ancient meme.

Speaker 1 (49:24):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (49:25):
Well that's what he was saying.

Speaker 1 (49:26):
Is he was like, he just thought it was like outdated.
He didn't know that people actually used it, which I agreed.
I didn't realize people were walking around calling pizza pie genuinely,
like un ironically.

Speaker 2 (49:36):
But it's just it's in the lexicon. I didn't. I mean,
I thought Chase, as East Coasters, we would know this,
but I guess we're not from New York. Though we're
in the South, we cast it still on the East Coast. Yeah,
but we don't. Do you call it a pepperoni pie? Never?

Speaker 1 (49:51):
But I know that that if somebody said it, I
would know what they were talking about.

Speaker 2 (49:56):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (49:56):
No, I I knew that people in New York and
New Jersey and stuff it. You want to get a pie,
Let's get a pie.

Speaker 2 (50:03):
You know. What's more important is that every time Vince
pops up on screen it says unemployed under its name,
which is hilarious. I don't think I've ever seen that.
I'm like, I mean, I'm sure it's come up on
this show, but I've never seen that on any other
show where somebody's credit or like what they do is
just unemployed.

Speaker 1 (50:23):
Yeah. Yeah, that's so funny because usually they'll like make
something up for someone even if they don't really have
a career. Yeah.

Speaker 2 (50:30):
Uh.

Speaker 1 (50:31):
This is where so Lauren's the hoh, and this is
where we learn about another Big Brother term, which is renomns.

Speaker 2 (50:39):
I think it's super.

Speaker 1 (50:40):
Fascinating that there is a strategy and Big Brother where
instead of rocking the house, you just put up the
same people that were nominated last week.

Speaker 2 (50:50):
And that's what people saw as the week move right.

Speaker 1 (50:54):
Yeah, but it's so fascinating because it's like, if you
are on the block in week two, you could be
on the block every week after that until because people
don't want to rock the boat.

Speaker 2 (51:04):
Yeah. Man, that's what's gonna happen to Keanu.

Speaker 1 (51:07):
Yeah, or it will at this point.

Speaker 2 (51:10):
M hm.

Speaker 1 (51:12):
It's unfortunate for me and for America and for America
because our hero who uh sailed over the Delaware river
and defeated the Redcoat British Army found this country.

Speaker 2 (51:29):
I'm sure you've seen the famous picture. He took that
picture of George Washington on the boat. He got out
of the boat for a second so he could snap
the pic in.

Speaker 1 (51:37):
The freezing cold river and took a picture, which was
crazy because they didn't have pictures back then. He had
to paint that really fast.

Speaker 2 (51:44):
He took a mental picture and then paints yeah, exactly,
shout out to Will.

Speaker 1 (51:53):
So Lauren is officially head of household. People have to
go up and talk to her in the hoh room.
Keanu is the first to do it. Lauren is not
good at confrontation.

Speaker 2 (52:02):
No, well, Keanu hops up on the bed. First of all.
It's kind of a weird move, like he hops up
and lays on her pillows.

Speaker 1 (52:11):
Hey, man, I like being comfy when I talk game.
You mind if I get up on your bed?

Speaker 2 (52:14):
Yeah? And then from there, Lauren doesn't want the conversation
to continue, so she stares at the television and there's
nobody on it, but she just stares intently at it.
He just keeps looking. He's like, who we looking at?

Speaker 1 (52:30):
No one, not you. That's what that's what we're looking at.
I think this was like a nervous thing for her
because every conversation she has afterwards, when they're in the
age of h room, she's just staring at the TV
screen instead of like looking at them.

Speaker 2 (52:45):
Interesting. But Ashley and Mickey came to talk to her next,
and I don't have anything to note about what they said.
What I want to bring up is that they left
the room and Keanu was sitting by himself playing chess,
and he was moving like the opposing player's piece towards him.
Did you catch that?

Speaker 1 (53:02):
Yeah?

Speaker 2 (53:03):
Yeah?

Speaker 1 (53:03):
I was like, I wonder how often he's just sitting
at that chessboard to be like, I'm a master strategist, I'm.

Speaker 2 (53:09):
Always he only plays against himself.

Speaker 1 (53:15):
So we get a funny line from Kelly, who I
think is funny.

Speaker 2 (53:19):
P D doesn't. I think she's an insane person for
what she does here.

Speaker 1 (53:23):
She just goes, would you like a bean and cheese sandwich?
And then they hard cut away.

Speaker 2 (53:28):
But what I said was insane, wasn't that bean and cheese?
I don't know if I want a bean and cheese sandwich?
But the insane thing was her going to Lauren and
sacrificing herself for the third consecutive week.

Speaker 1 (53:42):
Kelly, Kelly has one move and it's self sacrifice.

Speaker 2 (53:46):
Yeah. She's like, look, I saved myself twice, it'll surely
happen a third straight time. She'd go, here's what I'll say.

Speaker 1 (53:55):
On the surface, it's very funny that every time she's
in a bad spot she was like, just put me
on the block. Yeah, but I do think it is
kind of a good move because if you look at
like look at the Will situation.

Speaker 2 (54:08):
What happens after this is.

Speaker 1 (54:12):
Lauren is talking to Will and it's like, would you
be okay if I put you up on the block.
That's where we get that awesome sound drop from Will
where he's feeling all of the adjectives. And now they've
got beef because Will is really upset with her and
she feels uncomfortable because she had to put him up.
It's a whole thing. But with Kelly, Kelly went to

(54:33):
her and said, hey, put me up. And now it's
like we have a plan together. I'm a part of it.
We're working together, even though I'm going up on the block.
So maybe down the road, if Kelly doesn't get sent
home because she's been on the block every week, maybe
it could actually lead to an alliance.

Speaker 2 (54:52):
And then we go to the nominations and it was
boring because she didn't deviate at all. She did what
she said she's gonna do. Keanu, Will and Kelly forgot
Kelly for a second. The sacrificial lamb Kelly. Yep. Will
is very upset. He is, let me let me just

(55:16):
play that real quick.

Speaker 3 (55:23):
I am disappointed, I am pissed off, I am highly upset,
I'm mad every adjective you can think of.

Speaker 2 (55:31):
And I really hope he gets taken off the block.

Speaker 1 (55:34):
I do too, even though you know he's the oldest
in the house, which he points out.

Speaker 2 (55:39):
He says he's got a bad back.

Speaker 1 (55:42):
But also Will quote that we forgot to mention earlier
is right. At the beginning of the episode, he says, Hey,
they voted for Amy thirteen and oh, that tells me
they feel good.

Speaker 2 (55:54):
About old pop pop. Yeah.

Speaker 1 (55:57):
I feel good about him too, And I I'm down
a player. I lost crying Amy, but I still feel
good about my chances in the Big Brother draft. Yeah,
I mean Keanu, Kelly and Will that is.

Speaker 2 (56:12):
Two of my players. But we don't want know yours.
I'm not going to be confident going into the competition,
the veto competition again, because who knows.

Speaker 1 (56:22):
I Right now, I've got a sixty six percent chance
of losing someone. But I've proven that I can turn
one hundred percent into zero percent, and I can turn
your zero percent into one hundred and ten percent, and
I'll do it again.

Speaker 2 (56:35):
All I know is that Mickey could flip everything on
its head because she didn't use her power. She still
got it. She could take it from Lauren not anymore.

Speaker 1 (56:44):
Uh she it expires before the jury. That happens so
right before the head of household picks who is being
nominated the nomination ceremony. Okay, I think I could be wrong,
but I think so. Maybe she'll take it from the
next person who gets it. Well, yeah, see, but make
sure you keep watching. You're about to hear some ads

(57:11):
that helped keep the lights on here in the old studio.

Speaker 2 (57:15):
Thanks for listening, or don't listen. It's really up to you.
At this point, it's at the end of the show.
I mean, you're listening to me. Hi, But here they come.

Speaker 1 (57:24):
I promised they're coming. Yep, here they are.

Speaker 2 (57:27):
Happy Day
