Speaker 1 (00:02):
We can witness I'm a dog person hours now buying
them up. Let's knock them down to your dog was sick, Isaiah,
I'm coming over.
Speaker 2 (00:11):
You know I crack. You're either not. It's not about
a million dollars. All I want to do is win million.
Speaker 3 (00:28):
Harris Marian Flora, all right, welcome to Making the Merge.
My name is Petie. I'm joined by Brand who just
got up to go grab a charger or something, and
by Chase. But that's not all, because today we have
the Queen of Survivor, TikTok, a woman who has looked
into the eyes of Jeffrey Propst. She was the hottest
(00:49):
free agent in Survivor media, and then she signed with
the specialist guys. That's right, tag with is making the merge.
Speaker 2 (00:56):
Hi, oh my gosh, that's the best intro I've ever gotten.
I need to put that on record and make that
my phone like my ringtone or something I need. I
need to boost my ego. That's incredible.
Speaker 4 (01:08):
I'll put it on a throw pillow for you.
Speaker 2 (01:10):
Thank you so much. You're reading my mind.
Speaker 4 (01:12):
No, I'm really excited to have you here.
Speaker 3 (01:14):
Ever since we got on Survivor TikTok, which I didn't
know was such a big community until we made making
the merge. But I saw your face everywhere. It was like,
we gotta get tag on the show.
Speaker 2 (01:25):
Oh yeah, I people do tell me that I pop
up a lot, so you know, I'm I'm here, I'm there,
I'm everywhere.
Speaker 5 (01:33):
But you guys, money tag? How much did you make.
Speaker 2 (01:38):
Fifty dollars this month? Let me tell you?
Speaker 3 (01:41):
Yeah, I know, I know, I do have like a
little bit of a bone to pick with you because
you know, you were the hottest free agent and everything.
Speaker 4 (01:48):
We didn't even get to make a contract offer.
Speaker 5 (01:50):
I don't even think you knew us.
Speaker 2 (01:52):
Uh. I definitely know your stuff. Your stuff has been
around because your videos I think popped up this last
year most of the like this last season, right, that's
when you guys started.
Speaker 3 (02:03):
Yeah we started for forty seven and then you're still
forty eight.
Speaker 2 (02:07):
So good, thank you, thank you, so funny, so good.
Huge fan. Yeah, The Specialist really kind of happened randomly.
Uh And because I was with soever now for a
really long time and I love them so much, a
great podcast, but it just kind of happened randomly and naturally,
and so far, it's a it's a good fit. I'm
(02:29):
happy there. It's it's it's nice.
Speaker 4 (02:31):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (02:31):
We just hope that next time your contract comes up
with at least get to make an offer.
Speaker 5 (02:36):
We can do fifty a month.
Speaker 2 (02:37):
We can do for love. You know what, we'll talk,
We'll talk numbers.
Speaker 3 (02:42):
I do want to ask you about how you got
into Survivor coverage in the first place, because it's it's
very nerdy. I think Brand and Chase are really going
to enjoy it. To put it in wrestling terms, teg
with fantasy book the whole Survivor season on TikTok.
Speaker 5 (02:56):
Can I make a prediction real quick before you break
down your your your history. Are you one of the
people like most people our age? I think that hopped
on the Survivor train in twenty twenty.
Speaker 2 (03:08):
Good, really good prediction, really close to twenty twenty. I
was twenty eighteen, so yeah, so right before COVID. COVID
was really bad for a lot of reasons. But let
me tell you, for Survivor, it did wonders for the
number for that show, like the number of people I
meet that is like, you know what, I had nothing
to do and I just what show had a lot
(03:29):
of seasons that I could fill my time, and Survivor
was that one. No. I met my partner, Ryan, who
I've been with since twenty eighteen. He has been a
Day one Survivor fan, so or almost day one. His
mom was a Day one. He started in season two
when he was like little, and then when we first
started dating, he was like, we can't do anything on
Wednesday nights. Nothing on Wednesday nights. And I went, that's
(03:51):
super weird. Why because that was one of his well yeah, literally,
I was because we are both we work in hospitality
and those are our days off, Like our days off
were Wednesdays and Thursdays. And I was like, telling me,
you can't do anything on your Saturday night, that's so weird.
And he was like, yeah, I gotta watch a show
and I was like, wow, okay, I don't know, Maybe
I need to reevaluate what this is. And then he
(04:11):
showed me Survivor China, and I went, I get it,
I get it. I get why you are your booked
solid on Wednesdays. And that was right before David Versus Goliath.
So weirdly, David Versus Goliath was my first season that
I watched Live, which was also incredibly.
Speaker 5 (04:27):
Like an incredible season.
Speaker 2 (04:29):
Incredible season, and then I've just kind of been addicted
ever since. I started listening to RHAP right then and
really kind of getting on the online community. And then
in twenty twenty, I wanted to start doing tiktoks and
I was like, I know, I need to find a niche.
What can I do? What can I do? What can
I do? And Survivor? Jokingly, I was like, should I
(04:50):
just do Survivor stuff? And Ryan was like, that's not
a bad idea, And so ever since then that's been
what I've been doing. And the weird thing was, like,
very recently, I was to Rit and he was like,
you know, you've kind of been recording your thoughts and
your feelings about Survivor since you started watching, and what
are you talking about. I just started my TikTok in
twenty I think it was twenty twenty one actually, and
(05:11):
he was like, well, when you were when you were
rewatching everything and we weren't like like together watching it together.
I would record like a snapchat or like a video
and I'd be like I can't believe that just happened,
or like whatever, and I would send it to him,
and so inadvertently, I've been covering Survivor like with my
reactions and all that stuff since I started watching, which
is so silly.
Speaker 5 (05:31):
That's awesome.
Speaker 2 (05:32):
I'm just in it for the money me too, honestly.
Speaker 3 (05:36):
But I love to your origin story with the Survivor
simulation thing. I was like, that's just an insane way
to get into it because you basically, from from what
I understand, you had the whole season like decided through
the comment section.
Speaker 2 (05:53):
Oh yeah, yeah I did. I was really truly like
very much missing Survivor when I started this, and I
I think that they when I started my my TikTok,
it was like very early twenty twenty one, so like
January February, and I was just like, God, I miss
Survivor and I and I think I had just watched
Second Chances or something where I saw that they had
(06:15):
cast the show through the fans, and I was like,
oh my god, what if we did this? And I
then was also listening to an Rijp brand Steele with
Mike Bloom and I kind of those two things combined,
and I was like, what if the fans could decide
the brand steal? Oh? And I and I did that
(06:36):
and it was so much work. I like stopped halfway
through the season. Ron Clark was so mad at me
because I think he was like he was one. He
was one of the villains and he was doing very well,
and he got really upset. I stopped in the middle
because I just was like, it's just so much work.
And I stopped and I kind of fell off the wagon.
But yeah, I loved doing that and the ogs. The
(06:58):
ogs know the Survivor simulation and in the very early beginning.
Speaker 3 (07:02):
And I wasn't an og. I think I just heard
you talk about it at some point, and I don't
think it would be possible to scroll back because you're
such a prolific TikToker that it would probably take me
a day to find the original videos.
Speaker 2 (07:14):
It would take quite some time. Every once in a
while on my memories, one pops up and I go,
oh my god, that's so funny, and they would take me.
So I had like a costume and I didn't even
have a survivor hat. So I wore a baby Yoda
hat or a baby baby Grogu hat because it was
black and I was like, it kind of looks like
the Survivor logo, and I had like a gene shirt
(07:35):
on and I would be like in front of a
green screen. I'd be like welcome, Like I would say,
come on in, guys, blah blah blah blah, like the
whole thing. And I would every episode, I'd break it
up into like three or four parts. I really like
went online and like got like videos of if somebody
was getting voted out, I got videos of them like
Jeff reading their name at tribal council. It was really
(07:58):
poorly executed, but the idea was there and it was fun.
It was fun.
Speaker 5 (08:02):
Are you gonna You're gonna bring it back?
Speaker 2 (08:04):
I honestly feel like now that I'm better at, like
honestly TikTok And also just like editing, I could, I
really could, I, but I just I have to. I
think what I need to do is do it all
at one time, and so then I can't fall off.
I can't fall off the wagon. I can just continue going.
Because Ron Clark still to this day, I'll see him
(08:26):
and he's like, so what happened at the end, And
I was like, I don't know, the brand's deal's gone.
I didn't save the brand's deal, it's gone forever. I
think he came in second or something.
Speaker 5 (08:34):
No, you don't want to upset Ron.
Speaker 2 (08:36):
No, you do not want to get on Ron Clark's
bad side. Let me tell you.
Speaker 3 (08:39):
I want to get invited to one of those parties. Dude,
are you.
Speaker 5 (08:44):
Gonna wear the pink rope?
Speaker 4 (08:46):
Yeah, I'll wear the pink rope.
Speaker 3 (08:47):
I'm wearing a pink robe because I've been wearing this
every time we record since we started covering Big Brother recently. Yeah,
oh class so that Yeah, that's why I'm wearing a
pink bathrobe for all the podcasts. But actually, you know,
we're for a Big Brother and I think the Mastermind
has a question for you.
Speaker 6 (09:02):
Tex Love wrong button, Sorry, I'll ed it's fine.
Speaker 5 (09:13):
Hey what if what if I was just like no,
I'm good, Well like no, I'm good, p D thanks though, No,
I got.
Speaker 2 (09:20):
You Bard.
Speaker 3 (09:25):
And important question for.
Speaker 5 (09:29):
If you heard the choos, which would want watch? Want
you choose.
Speaker 2 (09:37):
Now?
Speaker 3 (09:38):
Listen?
Speaker 5 (09:38):
That sounds like a simple dumb questions at all? Is
this chase just the chase is back? Yeah, I'm back
the Mastermind.
Speaker 1 (09:49):
It just seemed like, I don't know, we.
Speaker 2 (09:52):
Can't get your aura and if we can't get your aura.
We're getting your confused with the mastermind. That's that's it,
what undred percent. Yah.
Speaker 5 (10:01):
But the reason I feel like this is a complicated
question is because obviously Survivor probably your favorite of the two.
If I had to guess, same uh yeah, same here correct. However,
big Brother, while longer show, you're in the house for
a long time, you're not on an island surviving in Fiji.
Speaker 2 (10:19):
Yeah, yeah, it's actually a big I actually think about
this quite a lot because there's also the other thing
that I think about, where if I go on Survivor
right now, I am an outsider, I am somebody. I
am a I'm a sports commentator who has never actually
played the sport. I am have always been a fan
of the sport, and so I come at the show
(10:41):
with a Obviously everyone's biased in their own way, right,
but I come I approach a show in a pretty
much unbiased way because I don't know. I don't know
what happens between like after the you know challenge, I
don't know what it actually feels like to be out there.
So I feel like the way I am able to
approach how I make content is as a fan first
(11:03):
and if I go on Survivor, I then my content
will shift because it will shift from a fan's perspective
to somebody who has played the show who is probably
still a fan, but your perspective is just gonna shift.
And I do think that if it were if you
asked me this question like three years ago, when I
had like five hundred followers and all I did, I
(11:25):
would say Survivor one thousand percent. But now that I
have a little bit more of a foothold within the community,
I have a presence, I have people like wanting to
hear my takes, and I kind of I made something
of this, right, It's a much more complicated question because
then also, what if I go out there people know
(11:46):
who I am? You know, Camilla told me this was crazy.
Camilla told me before she went out to forty eight,
she saw Bianca, thought Bianca looked like me, and before
she knew her name in her journal called her Survivor tag.
W Yeah, So like, like, there is a world in
which I go out there because like not everyone honestly knows,
(12:07):
like I've I've talked a to her. Our players, they
didn't know RHP beforehand, and before they like listen to
r JP or listen to any podcasts. One of the
first like knowledge of the o like the Survivor community
was TikTok was social media because it's a two minute
long thing that comes or a one minute long thing
or a five second long thing that comes up naturally
on your phone, whereas a podcast you have to kind
(12:30):
of search for that. You have to be like, hey,
I like this thing, I know that it's there. Let
me find one that's that I like. So it is
there is a world in which I go out there
and seventy knows who I am, and that could be
bad for me. And I could go out first, I
could go out second, right, and so then that would
also affect like, you know, my this this kind of
thing that I've made right, And so a very seemingly
(12:53):
easy question where it seems like, oh, yeah, it's obviously
going to be Survivor because that's your favorite show. I
don't think if I go on Big Brother, well don't
know who I am. I'm like, that's not like Big
Brother is like so it's a hard game, don't get
me wrong. It's long. You know you are. I would
be bored out of my mind for eighty days like
not having phone or TV or whatever else. But like,
(13:14):
I think that there's less to lose if I went
on Big Brother, whereas on Survivor, I think I have
more to lose. So very long answer, but I think
right now I'm leaning towards Big I would prefer to
be on Big Brother, but I mean I also am like,
but then if I go on Big Brother, I feel
like that I could never go on Survivor. Yeah, Like
rarely people move from Big Brother to Survivors, So I
(13:37):
don't know the answer is I don't know.
Speaker 1 (13:40):
Another curveball, though, is the live streams, Like if you
if you trip or you know, choke on your food
during Survivor, chances are like they might include it, but
probably not. But if you do that on Big Brother,
at least one person is gonna be watching that feed
and they are gonna see that, and they're gonna know
(14:01):
about it, and it's gonna be us and gona we
have we have to feed up all twenty four to seven.
Speaker 5 (14:06):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (14:07):
Yeah, that's also so scary because I also accompliation' somebody
be burping and I'm like they're just like they're just burping,
Like what's going on? What are we doing here. Yeah,
that's like so scary also because like what if I
do something that I don't know is weird and then
I find out later it's like the weirdest thing ever.
I would rather live my life.
Speaker 1 (14:27):
Point, Like, what are the things that you do and
the and just the quiet of your own house that
you don't really think about and then you find out, oh, man,
like apparently I do this thing a lot.
Speaker 2 (14:40):
Yeah, Like what if what if it's like weird that
I like brush my teeth like this and everyone brushes
their teeth like this, and then somebody's like, wow, that
she's horrible because she brushes her teeth in like a
different ways, you know, like.
Speaker 5 (14:50):
Brush brushgate brushgate.
Speaker 2 (14:55):
Yeah, like a thirty minute shower, like you know, everything.
Speaker 4 (14:58):
Can be used a ten hours thirty minutes.
Speaker 5 (15:01):
I have a fix for us, guys. I have a fix.
I think what we can do for you tag is
we will install one hundred and twelve cameras and one
hundred and thirteen microphones into your home and we will
figure this out for you.
Speaker 1 (15:10):
It's a trial run a trial yeah.
Speaker 2 (15:14):
Yeah. It's like when somebody's running for office, they have
the highre PI beforehand and like dig up all the
things that they can I do not before.
Speaker 5 (15:22):
I think you're onto something. From now on, all politicians
should have to go on Big Brother first.
Speaker 3 (15:27):
That is a good idea, correct.
Speaker 2 (15:29):
I think that's actually the best idea anyone's ever had. Yeah,
because also it'd be a ruthless season. Everyone's lying to everybody.
No one knows when they're lying. It would be great
and it'd actually be pretty entertaining.
Speaker 5 (15:40):
The Mastermind takes his mask off and it's George Bush.
Speaker 3 (15:44):
That's you know, that's not a bad guess. Not move, Okay,
don't get tag in trouble for being on the show.
Speaker 5 (15:54):
Hey man, Hey, if she gets in trouble, she gets
dropped from her network, she'll be a free agent.
Speaker 2 (16:00):
I'd be good.
Speaker 3 (16:01):
One of our hosts, Jonathan didn't show up today, but
teg we would trade you for Jonathan in a heartbeat.
Speaker 2 (16:06):
Yeah, you know, let's shop up the papers. I'll see,
let's see what we can do. I'll get my agent
on it.
Speaker 3 (16:10):
Yeah, right up. So, but one more note on a
Big Brother versus Survivor. I feel like Survivor like the
intensity online with the fans. It's the biggest pressure cooker.
And then I've made fun of so many people on
Survivor now that if I do anything stupid, everybody's gonna
have a compilation of me making fun of other people
for doing the same things. It wouldn't be good for me.
(16:31):
But there's no slop on Survivor.
Speaker 1 (16:33):
True pds over there is being like, so we gotta
make a move, guys.
Speaker 3 (16:39):
I would be Mitch.
Speaker 2 (16:40):
Yeah, no, low key. I probably would also be Mitch.
I'd be too. I here's the thing about me, Like
I can talk, I'm a really good Monday morning quarterback.
I'm a really good like watcher and commentator. Those who
can't do teach or make videos about it on TikTok,
and that's that's me. Like, I don't don't think I
(17:00):
would be very good at blindsiding somebody. I could not
pull a Kyle and Camilla like that. That's above my
pay grade. I don't know, Like it's it's a difficult
game and the editing just makes it look like I
don't know so much easier and you talk to these
players and so much else goes on, like the fact
that Kyle and Camilla talked for like five minutes total,
(17:21):
like the whole time they were out there and they
got all that done. I'm like, how did you? How
did you do that? I can't talk to Ryan for
less than twenty minutes to figure out dinner, Like like
I couldn't pull off a strategy just in passing. Now
I can't. Here.
Speaker 5 (17:36):
You're like, hey, I don't want the door to asher
to know that we're working together.
Speaker 2 (17:40):
Exactly or the opposite. I want him to think I
want the doordasher to think that I am working with somebody.
So I'm like, oh, yeah, these forty egg rolls are
all for somebody else.
Speaker 5 (17:50):
Man's good stuff.
Speaker 3 (17:51):
Actually, one more question before we get into the mock draft.
What does Jeff smell like?
Speaker 5 (17:57):
Yeah?
Speaker 2 (17:58):
Oh perfect? He smells like perfection. Yeah, he smells like
he smells like strength and uh and like knowledge? Yes?
Is it?
Speaker 5 (18:11):
Is it cologne heavy? Is it Colone heavy?
Speaker 2 (18:13):
No? The times that i've I've met him twice, And
let me say I've met him twice for about forty
five seconds each. Actually the first time was like three minutes.
A second time was like a minute, so he was timing,
but he was timing. Uh, I went beatbep when I
met him. No, so, but the second time he was
(18:35):
a little. We were outdoors, so he was a little sweaty,
but he still smelled great. He definitely smelled better than me.
I was way sweatier than him. And then the first
time it was he just honestly, he just smelled like
it was like cologne. Perfect.
Speaker 5 (18:49):
Dang, dude, yeah, perfect.
Speaker 2 (18:50):
He must he must have like a guy. He must
have like a guy before he does anything where he's
just like, yeah, he hired a PI to see if
he just went first.
Speaker 4 (19:02):
Yeah, he hired a perfume investigator.
Speaker 2 (19:04):
Exactly, honestly.
Speaker 5 (19:06):
One note, you do smell a little bit.
Speaker 1 (19:08):
If we could perfect that, then you'd be the perfect person.
Speaker 5 (19:11):
And now here he is the perfect person. We try
to do that same thing with Jonathan and that's why
he's not here today.
Speaker 1 (19:16):
Yeah, he's working on himself.
Speaker 5 (19:18):
Yeah yeah, yeah, yeah, he's getting.
Speaker 2 (19:19):
The everyone's got to do it.
Speaker 3 (19:21):
Yeah, we're all jealous of you. We want to look
into Jeff Prope's eyes. Maybe it'll happen soon.
Speaker 1 (19:26):
Was he wearing a black shirt?
Speaker 5 (19:27):
He did he do the ritual before he met you?
I bet he did.
Speaker 4 (19:32):
Do you know the ritual?
Speaker 2 (19:33):
What's the ritual?
Speaker 3 (19:34):
So I religiously listened to on Fire because occasionally. I
mean On Fire as a podcast, not the most entertaining
thing necessarily, but he will occasionally say something insane. And
so that's why I listened to every minute of on Fire,
just looking for like the thirty seconds of crazy that
Jeff is going to say. And he has this whole
ritual where he folds his shirt and he like kisses
(19:55):
it and lays it out on the sand and lets
the water and Fiji touch it a little bit, and
then he recites a poem to it, and then's.
Speaker 1 (20:02):
So crazy that like I don't know if it's true
or not, Like I don't think I've ever heard I've
never heard Jeff do a bit.
Speaker 5 (20:11):
It felt like a bit.
Speaker 2 (20:13):
Have you heard the story of how Sorry for You
came to him? You've heard that, right? It came to
him in a dream and he like had an alternate
I can't believe you haven't heard this. He had like
a or I think he was either a dream or
like he was doing a meditation and he's like like
his alternate person, Like I think there was god. He
was a name. He had a name for it. It was
(20:34):
like some weird like like the Survivor guy or like
the Fiji, like the somebody, but it was him but
out of body, and it like came to him in
like a He was like, oh, sorry for you, and
it like came to him in like a dream or
like a medal. Yes, like cowboy. He like said it
(20:58):
in an article before. I think it was it's or
if you come around at forty one. I think he
was around forty one, and he said it in an
interview with your Dalton Ross or somebody, and I read this.
I read this article multiple times and like he has
to be joking, but apparently he it was the truth.
He's a beautifully odd odd man. He's a beautifully odd man.
Speaker 3 (21:17):
Yeah, I'll never forget about the tennis balls and the
dog thing that he always heard that he told this
story about. Like he said, when somebody's dog is sick,
he used to be like, I don't care, but now
he loves dogs. So if somebody says their dog is sick,
He's like, I'm coming over. I've got things that can help.
Speaker 5 (21:38):
I love him so much. He's the best man. Apparently
he just does a lot of drugs and sees visions
of himself.
Speaker 2 (21:43):
I love him, but I mean he's friends with like
Pete Wentz and like, you know, like the Foo Fighters
and stuff. So you know, he's I think he's got
some some cool friends to give him some cool ideas.
Speaker 3 (21:53):
And you mentioned Survivor Guy. I've heard him refer to
him Survivor Guy. So is Survivor Guy actually an entity?
Speaker 2 (22:00):
It's not him. It's like, yeah, it's Survivor Guy. It's
it's it's a it's an entity.
Speaker 5 (22:05):
It's like when you take too much Benadrill and see
the hat Man.
Speaker 2 (22:09):
Yeah, sure, that's exactly what it is, Chase, That's exactly
what it is. Yeah. I think I think Survivor Guy
it must be like it must be like you know
how Alan Cumming when he does The Traders, he is
as a host, he's playing a character. That must be
what Jeff does. That must be like Survivor Guy must
(22:31):
be a character that he like studies in order to
be a better host or something. It's got to be
something weird like that.
Speaker 5 (22:38):
That's cool. I wonder if he did the same thing
when he hosted Rock and Roll Jeopardy.
Speaker 2 (22:42):
You know he rock and Roll Jeopardy Guy. Yeah. Absolutely,
we don't.
Speaker 5 (22:49):
We don't talk about Mad TV Guy.
Speaker 1 (22:51):
No, we don't talk about mat TV.
Speaker 5 (22:53):
Not talked about mad TV.
Speaker 3 (22:54):
Guy Jeff and Tag, I am so glad that it
fell through our plan to have you on Cook Islands
episode one. I cannot tell you how glad I am
that you didn't through that. In his preseason press and
explaining to the view why it's not a bad idea,
it was uncomfortable.
Speaker 2 (23:10):
I love that season, but really, I remember when Ryan
told me, my partner told me when I was doing
my first watch through, and he was like, okay, and
then we'll get to the race War season. And I
was on a treadmill. I was on a treadmill, and
I stopped the treadmill and I said, I'm sorry, I'm
(23:32):
so sorry. Say that again slower so I can really
understand what you said. And he's like, the race War season,
the racehorse season. And I said, no way, there's no way.
I don't care what year it was, there is no way,
and it was it was. That is exactly what happened.
I will say, incredible season. Oh yeah, yeah, really good season.
Speaker 3 (23:54):
Brand is watching it for the first time with us
right now the first time.
Speaker 2 (23:58):
I think the cast is insane. It's some of the best.
I think it's one of the best casts, Like the
things that happen on that season is just like, oh,
moment after moment after moment, it's so good. It's fun. Fact,
Rachel Brosenhan's favorite season marvelous missus Maisel.
Speaker 3 (24:15):
Whoa, this is the kind of tag just drops threes.
She's like just dropping gyms, Like, I didn't you really
connected the dots in my head? This Survivor guy was
a whole separate alien being. I didn't know.
Speaker 2 (24:30):
You.
Speaker 5 (24:30):
You mentioned Rachel and then you say, you know marvelous
miss Maize, as if she's not on the biggest movie
on the planet.
Speaker 3 (24:41):
This season. Let's get into this mock draft. So this
is how we do the drafts. We spin a wheel
to get the order. It's always random. We're gonna do
that now as well. So Chase, do you have a
wheel pulled up?
Speaker 5 (24:51):
Yep, and it's spinning, baby. Wow, first up, it's survived.
Speaker 2 (25:00):
Oh all right, O way wow. The pressure is on.
The last time I had a first pick in a
draft was for forty seven. I chose teeny. I stand
by it.
Speaker 5 (25:13):
Not a bad good pick, not a bad.
Speaker 2 (25:14):
Pick, right, I almost chose it. I almost got teeny
and Andy, but then I missed Andy by one. Okay,
so I'm assuming I'm just gonna pick. Oh gosh, you.
Speaker 5 (25:28):
Don't have notes or anything. You're just gonna wing.
Speaker 2 (25:30):
Oh, I believe. So with drafts. This is my belief,
and I this is the truth. I do not I
know this cast obviously, but I don't like to go
in with the plan because the plan. When that's like
two times I've done that, the plan has gotten completely
screwed up and I had to go off the cuff anyway,
and I and I and I panic, and I choose
(25:52):
bad things. And so I think if I go in
knowing that I'm gonna be off the cuff, I don't
panic as much. So that's my draft strategy. I do
that for all drafts. Just a fun fact. I think
I'm gonna go with my my my preseason winner pick
for fifty was Tiffany really, and I feel like I
feel like I'm gonna go with that. I'm really putting
all of my my apples into that basket and I'm
(26:14):
sticking with it.
Speaker 5 (26:15):
It's a good basket.
Speaker 3 (26:17):
Yeah, I like that pick because of all the New
Era players, she has one of the lower threat levels
for sure.
Speaker 2 (26:23):
Exactly. I also want to say, I don't know, like
I didn't. I've stayed. If you don't, if you don't
know anything about me, I really hate spoilers. I really
hate spoilers. I've stayed away from all. Everyone was like, oh,
have you seen the photos of the jet? No, No,
I haven't. I haven't seen anything. I didn't see anything
on the island. I could not be spoiled. There was
(26:45):
nothing I saw on the island that would on that trip.
So there was nothing that I could have seen to
be spoiled on there. So, just so everyone knows, unspoiled.
Speaker 5 (26:53):
What about the two forty nine cash members that will
be showing up for fifty are you aware of those?
Speaker 3 (26:59):
Well, she kind of has to know about Yeah, I
feel like, because yeah, you're on the special, so it's
a requirement probably to talk about them.
Speaker 2 (27:06):
Yeah, yeah, I know, I know who I I feel
like I have a pretty good idea what happens for
forty nine. But we don't need to talk about that.
Speaker 3 (27:14):
Yeah. Look, I'll just say we have an insider who
reached out to us about that. Oh, this is all
she told us. She said there were some behind the
bathroom deals.
Speaker 5 (27:22):
Okay, there was some behind the bathroom deals in forty nine,
just like how Billy Garcia said there was a cook Island.
Speaker 3 (27:28):
So behind the bathroom deals is something that's become part
of our lexicon because Billy said he had one with Candace.
Speaker 5 (27:34):
True love, true love, honesty. Yeah.
Speaker 3 (27:36):
But Tiffany great pick. She was my first round pick
for season forty six.
Speaker 2 (27:42):
She was also my winner pick for forty six as well.
Speaker 3 (27:44):
So okay, so we're on the same time.
Speaker 2 (27:45):
I'm doubling down. I'm doubling down on Tiffany, and I'm
happy to do it. And if she goes out first,
I don't even care. I'm proud of it no matter what.
I love her, all right.
Speaker 3 (27:53):
Who's up? Second? Up?
Speaker 5 (27:54):
Second? Is brand?
Speaker 3 (27:57):
Okay?
Speaker 1 (27:58):
Oh my gosh, I'm so nervous right now.
Speaker 3 (28:01):
This is a mock track brand. It's not the it's
a practice practice.
Speaker 5 (28:06):
I'm talking about practice.
Speaker 1 (28:08):
I am going with the alleged risk god Rizzo.
Speaker 5 (28:13):
Whoa.
Speaker 2 (28:15):
I think that's a good hut. I love that. Actually
that's such a hat.
Speaker 1 (28:18):
For a similar reason, it's a threat level thing, right
Like forty nine, they these people didn't even know these
people heading into it. It's one of those things like
sometimes being being last or being the most recent person
coming in can kind of play to your advantage because
it does it and they don't. They don't have the
(28:39):
advantage of of getting to know all these people over
the last year or many many many years at survivor
events and whatnot. And so I'm going to risk God.
Speaker 3 (28:47):
But brand to argue with you a little bit, I
think not knowing them at all raises their threat level.
Speaker 1 (28:54):
It's possible, but you know what PD, I said what
I said, and I'm going with all.
Speaker 3 (28:59):
Right, risk, But we got Tiffany and Riz God, just
like everybody expected going into this.
Speaker 2 (29:04):
Episode, the clear one and two.
Speaker 3 (29:07):
Hmm, all right, who's number three? If it's If it's
not Chase Shase. Okay, here's some more for you.
Speaker 1 (29:13):
Tag.
Speaker 3 (29:13):
We've been drafting with four people ever since season forty five.
Chase has been last every single time free time.
Speaker 2 (29:21):
That's great. How is that even possible?
Speaker 3 (29:23):
It shouldn't be.
Speaker 4 (29:24):
In the Big Brother draft we did last night, he
was also last.
Speaker 2 (29:28):
That's iconic, honestly.
Speaker 5 (29:30):
But I did win as season forty seven with Rachel, so.
Speaker 3 (29:34):
Oh yeah, great, great He's snagged her in the third
round and I still have nightmares about taking Sue, So.
Speaker 2 (29:42):
Sue was I took Sue. Also, I will say Sue
was my last choice, but I also took Sue.
Speaker 4 (29:48):
My last was Andy, and I was very proud of
that one.
Speaker 3 (29:49):
But so my pick, guys, I could, I could posture
and I could, I could act like I'm not throwing
my cards on the table for the for the season
fifty you real one?
Speaker 4 (30:01):
But why, I mean, why lie about it? I'm taking D.
Speaker 3 (30:04):
Everyone knows D is like my favorite player of the
New Era, so I have to go with her. And
then I really want Tag to weigh in on me
and Chase's D versus Rachel debate that we've been having
for for a while.
Speaker 2 (30:16):
I'm who's the best who's the best winner?
Speaker 5 (30:19):
Who's the best winner? Out of D versus Rachel?
Speaker 2 (30:22):
Yea such a good debate. That's a really hard one.
I think those are the two best. I don't know,
will I have My hot take is I think Kyle
is one of the best winners in a long time.
That means that's a whole that's a whole other issue
D versus Rachel. I think that when I look at
a winner, I I kind of like to think about
if they go into another season. How do I think
(30:44):
they would do. I think they would both do really,
really well. I do think that Rachel was able to
work from the bottom, which I don't think D ever
had to do, and I think that gives her a
little a little feather in her cap of being able
to go in another season and knowing how to work
from the top and from the bottom, whereas D only
(31:05):
had really she only had to work really from a
tide alliance and basically the top. So I'm going to
air to Rachel just because I don't know how D
would do. And I know that she, you know, made
some great moves with the IDOLKIVI to Julie all that stuff.
I think she's an incredible winner. But I think I think,
I don't know. I think I'm gonna go with Rachel
(31:25):
right now to change.
Speaker 3 (31:28):
It's a win for Chase whatever. You know, D, You're
still my my Cuban queen.
Speaker 2 (31:35):
As she should be.
Speaker 4 (31:37):
Yeah, so I take D number three. What are you doing, Chase?
Speaker 5 (31:41):
Speaking of a win for Chase, I'm just gonna go
ahead and draft the winner of Season fifty real quick, guys,
I'm taking my favorite Survivor player of all time Ozzie.
Speaker 3 (31:53):
Love who were covering extensively, and Brand is not impressed
by him.
Speaker 5 (31:57):
So far, and who don't get it, You just don't
get it workout.
Speaker 1 (32:02):
I'm saying what I'm saying.
Speaker 3 (32:04):
Well, Brand has only seen four episodes of Ozzy to
put it in perspective on why he is unimpressed by.
Speaker 2 (32:08):
Ozzie interesting, interesting micro Nese is an interesting Ozzie also,
So I feel like there's ozz is an interesting guy.
He's a very interesting guy. Hot take. I think Ozzie
might actually do well. I was able to meet Ozzie
and I think that now there is more to him
than just I'm strong. I'm a good competitor. We talked
about like books and stuff when I when I was
(32:30):
talking with them, So I feel like he has I
feel like he's able to build bridges a little bit
easier maybe now than he was back in the day.
Speaker 5 (32:38):
So I was just like, you know, green Eggs and ham, dude,
it's such a piece of literally are you there? Yeah,
I was watching on the one hundred and seventeen cameras
and one hundred and eighteen microphone.
Speaker 1 (32:49):
Can I ask a quick question, guys, I'm about to start, Uh, Well, tag.
I'm watching every season because I started late. I started
my first season with season forty six, and I have
seen David Versus Gliath and then forty six, forty seven,
forty eight. I've now seen one through fifteen. Finished China
a couple of days ago, Fantastic thirteen were covering for
the show. So I'm just doing it an episode every
(33:11):
week so that it's not luck when you're watching multiple
seasons that wants good good luck. So next is sixteen
micro News. Should I not watch it yet?
Speaker 3 (33:22):
You should?
Speaker 4 (33:22):
I think it's okay. It's one of the best seasons
of all.
Speaker 1 (33:25):
I didn't want any any okay, I didn't want any
confusion with with Ozzie, but I don't. I know, I'm
very excited about it. I'm very excited about the season.
Speaker 2 (33:36):
I think you should. I don't think I think that
there's there's only one season or no, there's three seasons
in between, but there's only like a year difference really
between Cook Islands and his game is is slightly different,
but not super different. I think I think you'll be good.
It's a great season.
Speaker 5 (33:51):
It's very exciting.
Speaker 4 (33:53):
And he was notoriously he was high and the pregame.
Speaker 3 (33:57):
He was he was. He wasn't doing behind the bathroom deals.
He was smoking weed behind the bathroom with Johnny fair Play.
He was john Oh, all right, so that.
Speaker 2 (34:07):
Was well right. What happened to jaw for Micronesia, he
broke his jaw like four weeks or five weeks before
the show.
Speaker 3 (34:21):
I had no idea.
Speaker 2 (34:22):
Yeah, yeah, I think he was like wrestling or something,
and I think it was a broken jaw. It was something.
It was a really bad injury. And so he had an.
Speaker 1 (34:29):
Only reason he was smoking.
Speaker 2 (34:31):
It was for the p that's it. No other reason,
but he Yeah, so he and if you if you
see him hiss like, jaw looks a little I think
it's his jaw. I can't. He like looks a little
like he's like swollen a little bit. And so if
you know, and that's why what happens happened.
Speaker 5 (34:50):
But happens interesting. I always thought that what happens happens
because hey.
Speaker 1 (34:55):
Guys, thanks for saying it the way that you're saying it.
I really appreciate it.
Speaker 5 (34:58):
He wanted to he wanted to make a little bit
of money and then and then you.
Speaker 2 (35:00):
Know that could also be it. You know that it
could be a like a one two punch, both two
things gonna be true. Uh but yeah, I yeah it was.
He was apparently still in quite a bit of pain.
Speaker 5 (35:12):
Dang, that's crazy.
Speaker 3 (35:14):
So I think you're back up tag.
Speaker 2 (35:16):
Me, okay me again. I'm shocked. I did not see
this coming. Uh. I think I'm gonna go with probably
my favorite Survivor player of all time, mister Christian Hubicky.
Speaker 5 (35:29):
I thought about it.
Speaker 2 (35:31):
So here's the thing. I think that's a risk. I'm
taking a big risk choosing Christian because I do think
that he's gone early. But I need to be true
to myself and I and I and if I think
he's just so incredible, I'm I'm sticking. I'm sticking by it.
Speaker 1 (35:45):
I love him, He's so I watched.
Speaker 3 (35:52):
I watched David versus Goliath a few weeks ago, maybe
a month ago, for the first time, and I was
away by Christian. I was like, he's just the perfect
Survivor player. But the problem with being the perfect Survivor
player is everybody else realizes that you're the perfect Survivor player. Yeah,
so he's instantly I think threat number one on whatever
tribe he's on.
Speaker 2 (36:13):
I agree, but here's the thing. I don't want to
spoil too much, but if you recall, poverty has always
been threat number one on every season she's ever been on,
and yet she's able to work it. And so I
think if you're threat number one on day one, it
actually works to your benefit, like an Andy or an Emily,
where you know they are and they're not threats. Like
Andy Emily weren't threats, but they were targets day one.
(36:35):
But then everyone's like, well, if that's the target, I'm
going to go with somebody else. So that's me really
kind of a selling Christian to me because I really
want him to do well.
Speaker 3 (36:45):
Yeah, maybe if Christian gets out there and he says,
I open a coconut, cheer coconut, that's.
Speaker 2 (36:51):
The way he's got to do. That's the play. It's worked.
Speaker 3 (36:54):
It's worked once, all right, brand who you got.
Speaker 5 (37:02):
So nervous.
Speaker 3 (37:04):
Again?
Speaker 1 (37:06):
It's real to me, I'm gonna go I'm stuck between two.
I'm gonna go with I'm gonna go with Charlie. I'm
gonna go with Charlie. I think Charlie is really likable.
I think he's somebody that you kind of want to
align yourself with and I can see him getting far
enough to get to the merge. And then you know,
(37:28):
he's pretty darn good at challenges, and I just, I
just I like the way he works with people. I
think he's gonna be a threat that maybe goes under
the radar long enough to maybe get him to where
he needs to go. So I'm gonna go with Charlie
and you know, Judge just barely lost, and I think
that that's gonna be motivation enough for him to figure
(37:49):
out how to get across the finished.
Speaker 3 (37:50):
Oh you don't have to remind me, Brother Kristen. Another
person who is on our show draft died Kinzie. I
had Charlie. I was upset for weeks. I was the
ultimately angry about it for a while, Like, I know,
this is a show, we do bits, we performative or whatever,
but I actually, you know, I get way too upset
about Survivor. And I think that was the most triggering
thing to ever happen in the drafts for me, for
(38:13):
him to lose by one vote.
Speaker 2 (38:15):
Yeah, crazy, really crazy. That was a quick little I know,
we're drafting a quick little thing. So I was team
Kenzie from day one. I really wanted. I like Kenzie
was Ryan's winner pick for forty six. I mean so yeah,
so we were like very pro Kenzie in this household,
and when she made it to the end, I was
very excited that Kenzie won. But it was very weird
to be so excited at Kenzi one because Charlie was
(38:38):
probably at two arms lengths away from me watching the
final votes being read. No, it was really intense. It
was he was smiling, he was with his fam, with
his family, and his girlfriend was with him and all
that stuff. So he was surrounded by Ben was there,
Like he was surrounded people who like love him very much.
(38:58):
That was a very intense moment because I was very
happy that Kenzie won, and I would have been happy
if Charlie had won as well, Like I I love
them both so much. But that was a very intense moment,
just like seeing Base him relive that moment for the
first time was like like really hard to watch.
Speaker 4 (39:15):
Kind of man insane lore tag.
Speaker 1 (39:18):
Could you tell like looking over at him while it
was happening, that now he was he he he.
Speaker 2 (39:25):
Had a pretty and that whole episode he'd really get.
He was smiling, he was having a good time. I vividly.
Remember he was wearing the best shirt I've ever seen.
It was like a white knit shirt. He looked great,
he was smiling. I was like and almost I was like,
that's what a winner, That's how a winner looks. So
I really thought that he was taking it up until
the very end.
Speaker 3 (39:44):
Uh.
Speaker 2 (39:46):
I really thought he it was it was gonna be Charlie,
especially because like his whole family and he was at
the party and all that stuff, and I really thought
it was gonna be Charlie. It was. It was really.
I was really shocked that it ended up being Kenzie.
But yeah, he had a good, good poker face p.
Speaker 5 (40:01):
D and I we knew Kinsey won because she announced
she was pregnant and we were like, in this economy,
she had to.
Speaker 2 (40:06):
Win, you No.
Speaker 3 (40:07):
I sent it to Chase and I was like, she
has to have some financial security to be making a
decision like this in the Big twenty twenty three or
whenever we're twenty twenty four.
Speaker 2 (40:16):
My favorite thing to do is like figuring out who
wins based on life stuff that's going on. So Erica
when Erica when forty one was airing, Erica posted a
TikTok about she was for the first time in her life,
she was buying a real Christmas tree. She made a
whole thing about that, she was buying a real Christmas tree,
and I was like, you know what, she has coming
(40:37):
a million dollars back because she's buying her And I
made a whole TikTok about it. And at the end
of the season, I just like, stitch my TikTok going,
so you know, when you're right, you're right.
Speaker 3 (40:47):
Like yeah, and players just like keep your purchases and
your travel to yourself. I thought Camilla was gonna win
because I saw her like gallivanting across the.
Speaker 4 (40:55):
World with her boyfriend or her husband.
Speaker 3 (40:57):
Yeah. I was like, that looks like a winner. Somebody
travel that much didn't pan out that way.
Speaker 5 (41:02):
Brand thought, uh, he was gonna win because it's cameo prices.
Speaker 2 (41:07):
Oh interesting, that's also a good way. I will say.
Rachel's cameo prices weren't that expensive until after the win.
Speaker 3 (41:14):
Yes, Sue was more expensive. I was tracking that for
forty forty six, I mean forty rightfully, so yeah, yeah,
because she would have beaten all their asses. You know what, Actually,
before I make my pick, somebody sent me a graphic
earlier about why Sue should have won. Wow, And that
was because Sue did not need any advantages to survive.
Speaker 4 (41:35):
She didn't even need immunity.
Speaker 3 (41:36):
She lost her number one pre merge and she was
blindsided two times. Rachel was blindsided three and she had
dirt mascara Rachel did not.
Speaker 5 (41:47):
And she's only forty five. Yeah.
Speaker 2 (41:49):
Yeah, so when on paper, yeah, that's a pretty pretty
solid game.
Speaker 3 (41:55):
Yeah. I love cherry pick stats to support my argument. So, uh,
my next pick, I am gonna be taking Angelina.
Speaker 2 (42:07):
That was my next pick.
Speaker 3 (42:10):
I'm a huge Angelina's stand. I mean, you know, you.
Speaker 5 (42:17):
Can I have your rope. You can't.
Speaker 3 (42:18):
You can't have it until we get booked on White
Lotus together. Then I'll give it to you. But Angelina,
I just I loved her psychopath energy. That was part
of why I picked Camilla first last year. I feel
like she looks very nice, you know, she has this
mom aesthetic, but under the surface is this complete psycho
who will take you out and lie to you. And
(42:40):
that's what I like in Survivor.
Speaker 1 (42:42):
Yeahs, the possible.
Speaker 4 (42:45):
Yes, and the ladder.
Speaker 2 (42:47):
Great choice.
Speaker 4 (42:47):
Got to mention the ladder.
Speaker 2 (42:49):
Oh my god, the ladder up to the sky, the
tallest ladder ever made.
Speaker 3 (42:53):
Yeah, it was like one hundred it was.
Speaker 2 (42:56):
It was like it just like that shower was two
hours long.
Speaker 5 (43:02):
All Right, you're gonna go with I'm gonna take and
I have a whole theory. I have a whole fan
cast theory in my head for this one. I'm gonna
I'm gonna take.
Speaker 4 (43:11):
Coach Okay, okay, fascinating.
Speaker 5 (43:15):
I strongly can see that Coach and Joe work together,
and Coach the whole time is like, I love how
you played, brother. You were so full of integrity and honesty,
and that's how I play. And then I think Coach
is gonna backstab Joe and win the game.
Speaker 2 (43:35):
Right, That's that's case scenario.
Speaker 3 (43:39):
Yeah, I was hoping for more of a Q and Joe.
I mean, not Joe Q and coach.
Speaker 5 (43:44):
He can too. I love Q as well, so I hope.
Speaker 2 (43:46):
So.
Speaker 5 (43:47):
But you know Q Q Q through the interception in
the championship game in high school. So fumble. It was
a fumble.
Speaker 3 (43:53):
You got that wrong, Burdette fumbles, written on the local
Texas newspaper.
Speaker 2 (43:59):
Rudal. Alright, a high school. Wait, I'm sorry, I know
it's Texas. But a high school game with a high
schooler on the thing, that's brutal. Man, adults are brutal. Okay,
my my pick right, Yep.
Speaker 3 (44:13):
That goes back around to ta tag has taken Tiff
and Christian.
Speaker 2 (44:17):
Yeah, this is ok way yea Christian. Yeah, this goes
against every fiber of my being. I'm gonna choose Jonathan, Okay,
I don't. And and the reasoning here, I'm trying to
I know that it's a mock draft, right, but I'm
trying to make my tribe very my my Yeah, like
(44:42):
I want I think that you know, we I just
recently rewatched the Speaking of the Latter that challenge that
Jonathan did. That is the only reason why he is
on the season. Like that, are we watching that? I
was watching my parents. My parents were jaw. They don't
watch the rubber jaw on the floor like that performance
I think is single handed be one of the best
performances in any challenge ever. And I and I don't
(45:06):
necessarily love him as a game player, but I think
there's something to be said about just pure strengths, especially
to get you to the merge. I think and I
know that like these kind of seasons people don't really
take like it's like drive strength is like not that
big of a deal. But I don't know, Jonathan is
like almost a guaranteed win if it's like that kind
(45:27):
of a challenge, I think, I don't know. I think
he's at least going to the merge.
Speaker 3 (45:30):
That challenge you're talking about is when he literally carried
the team on his back. He had Omer and or
I don't know if it was Omer, but I think
it was Omer and Marianne on his.
Speaker 4 (45:39):
Back in the water.
Speaker 3 (45:40):
Maybe Lindsay was on his back too, And then Jeff
shouts out he's literally carrying the team on his back.
Yeah and yeah, I mean, but he's like the biggest
himbo and survivor.
Speaker 4 (45:52):
It's also a sweet guy.
Speaker 3 (45:53):
But then there will be times where he's like, man,
I wish these women was shut up.
Speaker 2 (45:57):
Yeah, I don't. There's a reason I rewatched him doing
that challenge, and I didn't rewatch the uh Tori's uh
vote out you know, uh, that whole that whole tribal
council is like a hard watch, just specifically it's like
Jonathan shut up, Oh my god.
Speaker 3 (46:16):
Yeah, actually us.
Speaker 2 (46:20):
No, But I just think that, like I think that
there's something to be said, especially in a big season
like fifty where people are just like, I think that
they want to make it to the merge, and I
think that Jonathan is going to be able to do that.
Speaker 3 (46:35):
Teg's team is Tiff Christian and Jonathan Brand's team is
Riz God and Charlie. Who are you gonna add Brand?
Speaker 1 (46:42):
I'm going Mike White. I'm going to Mike White. I
think Mike made it to Final Tribal and he didn't
even have White lotus to promise people.
Speaker 5 (46:54):
Like what was he gonna like?
Speaker 1 (46:55):
What was he gonna promise people? The Moji movie too?
Speaker 3 (46:59):
No, hey, don't don't bring that up.
Speaker 1 (47:02):
I'm not gonna bring it up.
Speaker 5 (47:02):
I'm not gonna bring it up.
Speaker 3 (47:03):
But he now.
Speaker 4 (47:07):
The Mastermind loves it.
Speaker 2 (47:09):
Loves loves it, and that's canon, that's cannon.
Speaker 1 (47:12):
I think that there is gonna be this element of
maybe I maybe I try to get close to Mike White,
just like like, whether they say it or not, there
is gonna be a little of that. I think it
could catapult him. He could use it if he wants to.
And you kind of see I can kind of see
him like only pulling it out if he absolutely needs
(47:36):
to be.
Speaker 5 (47:37):
Like, hey, you know White, Lona's you know, put you
on a TV show?
Speaker 1 (47:40):
Put you on a TV show? Can I put you
on a TV show?
Speaker 3 (47:43):
Can?
Speaker 5 (47:44):
It'd be really funny if he was doing that to
Jonathan and he was like, you know, I put you
on a TV show. Johnthan was like, dude, I'm on
a TV show right now.
Speaker 3 (47:51):
That's a very Jonathan response.
Speaker 5 (47:52):
Actually, I'm excited them.
Speaker 1 (47:56):
I was coming back and uh, I'm excited to see
how it goes.
Speaker 5 (47:59):
I'm I'm picking them.
Speaker 3 (48:01):
Mike White is who Mitch thought he was. Sorry, Mitch,
I mean no, but you're similar place styles.
Speaker 4 (48:08):
That's what Liz Wilcox says.
Speaker 3 (48:09):
She modeled her whole game after Mike White, so there's
something to do it.
Speaker 5 (48:13):
Mike White notoriously blew his top over Apple.
Speaker 4 (48:18):
Have you tried the burger tag?
Speaker 2 (48:21):
I am a vegetarian, but I can go So I
found this out. I did just go to Applebe's like
two weeks ago. I found out you can get any
burger and it replaced the burger with an impossible burger,
so I can try it. I think I just have
to take the bacon off or something. So that is
next on my list. I didn't get it last time,
but I so I failed a little bit when I
(48:41):
went to Applebee's. I did fail slightly as a Serribber fan.
But next time I'm gonna try it. I'm gonna see
if it's worthy. It's worthy of the crash out.
Speaker 1 (48:48):
I mean, if it's bad, you can take a bite
and then go.
Speaker 2 (48:54):
It works in many occasions.
Speaker 1 (48:55):
It works either way.
Speaker 3 (48:56):
That would be a good TikTok. But I look, I
did the research already. On the finale night, I went,
I picked up the burger, and it's not that good.
It's not worth screaming and crying. So for my next pick,
I've got d I've got Angelina, and I think up next,
I'm gonna take Genevieve because she's still sitting there, and
(49:17):
Genevieve is such a strong player. Nobody thought she was
gonna make it that far. In season forty seven, Chase
even got a bond where he threatened like he made
a bet. He's like, I will get a Banu tattoo
if Genevieve makes it to the final three. And she
was one episode away.
Speaker 5 (49:35):
It was close.
Speaker 3 (49:35):
I was sweating close. Yeah, So Genevieve Musha Locke from Winnipeg, Canada.
That is my pick.
Speaker 2 (49:43):
I mean, that's a great pick.
Speaker 5 (49:45):
That is a good pick. A lot of stands for
Genevieve out there on the internet.
Speaker 3 (49:49):
Yeah, a lot of people think it really far. Yeah,
a lot of people have repegged is the season fifty winner.
Speaker 1 (49:54):
I see a lot of Christian and I see a
lot of Geneva Genevieve.
Speaker 3 (49:56):
Yeah yeah, yeah, I've heard about Geneviev Genevieve.
Speaker 5 (50:00):
Yeah yeah, Okay, I need to pick who's here? You
got coach, I've got, I've got Ozzie and coach. I
feel like I need some more female representation, guys. I mean,
there's gotta be a reason that they're bringing her back
back to back seasons. I'm gonna pull the season forty
nine Savannah Lewis took it took took.
Speaker 1 (50:22):
Someone long enough to follow on my footsteps.
Speaker 3 (50:25):
Yeah, I mean, I wish I had anything to say
about her, but I don't.
Speaker 5 (50:29):
And this is what I want to say. This is
what I want to say. Riz God, I think is
invited back because he has the name Riz God and
he's obvious. Yeah, totally God. But this Savannah lady, maybe
she's a winner. Maybe we get three former winners this season.
Speaker 2 (50:43):
Mmm, I think yeah, I'm I'm very interested to see
how these two do. And especially like Risk God has
stands already. I don't know if you know this, because
he he does like online stuff, and so people are
always like Risk God double first time, two time winner,
like people are yeah yeah, or like first two back
(51:05):
to back winter like they are high on Riz God.
So there's got to be something about Savannah and Riz
that that people just really like must gravitate.
Speaker 5 (51:13):
Towards brand or Petie, which one of you was like,
surely they knew that it would leak, so they wouldn't
cast a winner from forty two that.
Speaker 4 (51:20):
Was Brandy and don't I don't subscribe to that.
Speaker 3 (51:22):
I think maybe they forty chess it and then maybe
they think, of course they think that we won't put
the winner on, so we're gonna put the winner on anyway.
Speaker 2 (51:29):
Yeah, maybe I feel like there's there's there's got to
be something to like, I don't know, it's three tribes, right.
Speaker 3 (51:38):
Yes, that's what they're that's what they're saying.
Speaker 2 (51:41):
I just think it's weird that there are two winners.
I think that's weird.
Speaker 3 (51:44):
Yeah, who's next?
Speaker 2 (51:45):
I lost tis I I believe 'tis me. I'm going
to go with Jenna Lewis.
Speaker 3 (51:51):
Okay, we've got some Borneo representation. Yeah, the only person
from Borneo.
Speaker 2 (51:56):
Only one, only one from Borneo. I think that she
played a very good game. I think she played a
very similar game. My friend pointed this out and I
was like, Wow, that's really interesting. I think she played
a similar game to Kyle in forty eight. And I
think if it would if it had been a final three,
it would have been Jenna, Amber and Rob and I
(52:16):
think Jenna would have pulled out the W. And I
think that she was on RIGP was playing like old
podcasts when people like joined and I think she she
like was on the podcast like maybe five or six,
like before the new era, like maybe like thirty five
thirty six time. And I liked her takes. I liked
how she had looked at things. And I think that
(52:37):
she's maybe a level headed person enough to where she's
been gone for so long that she doesn't like isn't
like a Dani or something where she overplays. I think
that she's I think that she's a good enough social
player where I think that she'll be able to make
it through, and I really hope so I would love
How iconic would it be that Jenna lewis only one
from season one goes to win season fifty. That would
(52:58):
be like, I think that's like the best case scenario
just story wise. So I don't know, I'm going Jenna
not only like forty five or something like, she's not
even that old.
Speaker 5 (53:09):
So yeah, which Ozzie's forty, which is crazy.
Speaker 3 (53:13):
She's survived having to be on the same beach as
Richard Hatch and Boston Rob so you know, she's like
she's experienced. Who you got brand.
Speaker 1 (53:28):
I'm going Camilla, I'm going Camilla. I think that Camilla
probably has her biggest takeaway was that she just needed
to be a little bit more aggressive, like the on
On one hand, her biggest strength was the secret alliance
with Kyle. On the other hand, Kyle won, she didn't
(53:51):
she did, you know, give him the lay up there
in final Final tribal. But I think I think she's
going to be a little bit more aggressive. But I
also think that people are gonna see what she did
with Kyle and kind of be like, Okay, she's like
she's loyal, like loyal loyal.
Speaker 5 (54:07):
So I think there's something to that.
Speaker 1 (54:10):
I'm going Camilla.
Speaker 3 (54:11):
We were very close. Me and Camilla were very close
to winning. I say wee because it was a group effort.
But if she had made the fire, like if she
had done what Cowboy did, which is just pick up
the fire and then hold it up to the rope
like he did in the last episode that we watched,
then she would have won. But Camilla, I feel like
to the confessionals, she was very aggressive.
Speaker 5 (54:30):
Yeah, very funny.
Speaker 1 (54:31):
Yeah, just take a little out of aggression from the
confessionals and.
Speaker 4 (54:35):
Put into the gale the backing up the bus.
Speaker 1 (54:37):
Yeah, backing up that bus.
Speaker 5 (54:39):
That's a good pick. I do think the issue with
anyone from forty eight is that is the most recent season,
that's true.
Speaker 3 (54:46):
And then you have like Jenna Lewis, when's the last
time everyone watched Borneo?
Speaker 5 (54:50):
Yeah, you know, twenty twenty.
Speaker 3 (54:55):
Yeah, Borneo. It's a tough watch because Jeff doesn't narrate
the challenges. It throws you off. It's uh yeah. And
then you got Richard Hatch run around naked and all that.
But my my next pick, so I have d Angelina
and Genevieve. Maybe I need a guy, or I'll just
do the thing I always do and not pick any
guys because I I just always think women are gonna
do better in Survivor.
Speaker 5 (55:17):
So I'll take you aminist.
Speaker 4 (55:19):
Yeah, that's.
Speaker 1 (55:22):
The worlds of Survivor girls.
Speaker 3 (55:25):
Uh, it's not a performative thing. Okay, it's more it's
that I just think that they're better at the game.
Speaker 5 (55:35):
Guys.
Speaker 1 (55:35):
It is a tough lesson.
Speaker 5 (55:40):
Hey, i'mistically statistically it works out for PD way more
because he often does the female Yeah.
Speaker 3 (55:46):
And plus, you guys aren't bringing up Katy Perry and
Jojo Siwa on this podcast like I do. So who's
the real feminist of making the merge?
Speaker 2 (55:54):
Uh? You met Katy Perry astronaut Katie Perry astronaut.
Speaker 3 (56:00):
She was in the news because her insect for flying
insect that she rides on during her tour malfunctioned and
it could have been a bad situation.
Speaker 5 (56:08):
I lost a real one.
Speaker 3 (56:09):
Yeah, So I am drafting Jojo. C Wait, this is
not the celebrity big brother mock draft. I am gonna
draft Emily. I'll double down on taking women. Emily Flippin'
who's another person whose threat level? I mean, she didn't win,
she wasn't the runner up, she didn't finish that close.
She did make the merge, but I feel like she
learned a lot in her run that she can use
(56:31):
for the next one. And I think Emily has a
solid chance to go far.
Speaker 5 (56:36):
That's a good all right, guys, I'm gonna take someone
that I was hesitant, But I've been thinking. I've been
thinking about this player lately, the player who was the
only person to ever be on a tribe by herself,
who came back the following season and played hard.
Speaker 4 (56:57):
The only one to use the arsler on this list.
Speaker 5 (57:00):
Yes publicly. Yeah, and I'm.
Speaker 3 (57:07):
Sorry Stephanie. I won't bring it up during your season
just before, but yeah, Stephanie.
Speaker 1 (57:12):
Far and after, I mean, unless she says it and
then it leaves us with no choice.
Speaker 3 (57:18):
Yeah, I would hope they bleep it at this time.
But Stephanie.
Speaker 5 (57:22):
You know what would be funny if we if we
met Stephanie, is someone drops it just to kind of
see her reaction, like like, hey, he's still cool.
Speaker 3 (57:32):
You still talk like it's two thousand and five. Yeah, Stephanie.
Her her run was iconic, her and Bobby John. It's
something that when you watch, you'll never forget it. It's
one of the most memorable arcs and survivor history for sure.
Speaker 2 (57:45):
And then goes on to get to the final two.
Speaker 5 (57:48):
And I mean we were we were talking about cool stories.
Imagine that's her story, and then she comes back all
these years later and ruins it.
Speaker 3 (57:57):
I loved it when she showed up because everybody had
just watched it, they knew who she was, and she
was like this giant celebrity. She's still They.
Speaker 1 (58:05):
Make her walk down like the pyramid or whatever. Yeah,
really just like almost falling down, no help at all.
Speaker 3 (58:15):
Okay, so that's teg.
Speaker 4 (58:16):
You're back on the clock.
Speaker 2 (58:18):
Okay, this is getting difficult now because I feel like
it's shocking yet not shocking that no one has chosen Surrie. Yeah,
I am gonna do it. I'm gonna take Siri. I'm
hesitant to do that because I think she has such
a big target. But like I said previously, sometimes when
(58:40):
you have a huge target, it actually ends up working
in your favor because then everyone's like, well, she's gonna
always have a big target on her back, and I
you know, I don't know. Did you guys watch Big
Brother twenty five? Like seeing her work, seeing her work
in real time. That was the first things in a
Big Brother I watched. I was like, oh, this is
why she's a master. And then obviously like the Traders,
like she is so good at what she does. I
(59:00):
think that everyone is going to be very very aware
that she's so good. But I think it's also one
of those things like you know the enemy you know,
versus the enemy you don't. And I feel like I
feel like she could go far because of that. But
I also could see her being first boot.
Speaker 5 (59:16):
So yeah, I mean even if you just take her
Survivor seasons and you don't even look at the other
competition show, she's done huge threat.
Speaker 1 (59:25):
Yeah, not to mention like also just coming off Survivor
Australia versus the World, like just just busy, like like
could play. She could show up exhausted, you know.
Speaker 3 (59:39):
Like here's here's what I think. She's battle tested. She's
played more Survivor than anybody she's played Big Brother. She's
going to be on the Traders, right or was she
already on the Traders on the.
Speaker 4 (59:52):
Yeah, so she's she's done it all.
Speaker 3 (59:53):
She's probably sharper mentally than anybody else out there.
Speaker 5 (59:57):
Guys, wait, hold on, so will SOI because Survivor Australia
will it be airing at the same time as forty
nine airing?
Speaker 2 (01:00:05):
I think there's a slight overlap because Survivor Austraver's is
the World is like twenty six days and like twelve people,
or like like twenty days and like twelve people. It's
really a shorter version, so I think that it's probably
only going to be like two months or a month.
So I think there's going to be it's starting August seventeenth.
I could see it ending in like mid to early October,
so I could see there being like two weeks of overlap.
Speaker 5 (01:00:27):
That's crazy though.
Speaker 3 (01:00:29):
Yeah, I think crazy Jeff probably got in their ear
and he's like, do it shorter, it's much better, and
we need to be like Australia, don't listen, don't don't
buy it.
Speaker 5 (01:00:37):
They're like, all right, we'll just fire the host.
Speaker 3 (01:00:39):
But before we move on to Brand's pick, Yeah, I
want to say Siri is my favorite Survivor player of
all time.
Speaker 2 (01:00:47):
She's incredible. That's a great that's the right answer, honestly, Like,
I know you can't have a correct opinion, but that
is the correct opinion.
Speaker 3 (01:00:54):
Yeah, so you're saying Chase is wrong for Ozzie being
his favorite.
Speaker 2 (01:00:58):
Yeah, and I'm wrong for Christian being like I am.
It's it, You're you're correct, And who's your favorite?
Speaker 3 (01:01:05):
Play brands? Seemed like five seasons would more like twenty? Sorry?
Speaker 1 (01:01:08):
Sorry, thank you, John, thank you for putting in the
work tag. My goal is to have watched every season
by fifty.
Speaker 2 (01:01:17):
I'm that's impressive.
Speaker 1 (01:01:18):
I'm at a good pace right now. I'm talking right along.
Christian is my favorite player.
Speaker 5 (01:01:23):
Okay, yeah, yeah, all right, not WWE legend John Morrison.
I did like or what's his real what's his shoot name?
Speaker 4 (01:01:32):
Pet Mayor of Slamtown. That's his shoot name.
Speaker 5 (01:01:35):
That's a shoot name.
Speaker 2 (01:01:35):
Yeah, I love. That's one of my favorite editing moments
of Survivor really truly, it's just him naming off all
of his names. Yeah, yeah, that moment.
Speaker 5 (01:01:44):
And again that's right, that's right, all right?
Speaker 4 (01:01:47):
Brand?
Speaker 3 (01:01:47):
Who you got?
Speaker 1 (01:01:48):
Well, I am running out of people that I'm familiar with.
Speaker 3 (01:01:51):
You know, that's a vamp.
Speaker 1 (01:01:53):
So I got Joe, I got Kyle, I got Coolby.
I think that's all that's left that I'm familiar year with.
Speaker 5 (01:02:00):
So I'm going to go with Aubrey.
Speaker 1 (01:02:02):
Don't know her, but I trust her eyes.
Speaker 3 (01:02:05):
Okay, and I also haven't seen Aubrey's season. I'll tell
them myself here. I've seen one through like twenty and
then forty two through fifty or not fifty forty two
through forty eight.
Speaker 4 (01:02:17):
That's all I've seen. So Tag is going to speak
on Aubrey.
Speaker 1 (01:02:20):
But PD, you'll you'll watch the seasons that they're that
the returning players.
Speaker 3 (01:02:25):
I'm actually I want to do it when you tell
me when you're on their seasons, and I want to
watch it at the same time you're doing it brand.
Speaker 1 (01:02:31):
So that we can talk about it.
Speaker 4 (01:02:32):
Yeah, so we can text.
Speaker 5 (01:02:33):
Thanks Bud, it's cute.
Speaker 2 (01:02:36):
I like you, Chase. Have you seen Aubrey season?
Speaker 5 (01:02:39):
It's the next one on my list? Okay, I've seen
up through uh what is that thirty seven?
Speaker 6 (01:02:46):
Uh?
Speaker 2 (01:02:47):
Yeah, so yeah, Aubrey. There is a group of people
that think that Aubrey is like the best player of
all time right theation right Edge of Extinct, Edge of Extinction.
She she she was brought back for she was brought
back so she was original only on thirty two. I
always go wrong. She's originally on CO Wrong.
Speaker 5 (01:03:07):
Yeah, she was brought back.
Speaker 2 (01:03:08):
She was brought back for Game Changers, and then then
she was brought back again for Edge of Extinction, so
she's played three times. My hot take, I love Aubrey,
and this is a hot take. This is genuinely a
hot take. My hot take is Aubrey has a very
similar edit in co Wrong that Joe has. I'm sorry
to spoil because Game Changers, so CO Wrong aired, and
(01:03:31):
then Game Changers went out to film a week later,
and so I think that they are like two weeks
later or something so very similar to forty eight and
fifty and so I personally believe that the way Aubrey
was edited, they did so to kind of get fans
on Aubrey's side like they did for Joe and then
(01:03:55):
when she came Because I don't think that she plays
a great game in Game Changers, and I don't I
think she plays a bad game. I'm sorry, Aubrey, I
don't think she plays a bad game in Edge of Extinction,
and so I think that, but there are people that
think that she's the best survivor player ever. So this
is genuinely a hot take that I have, and I
love her. I think that she's great, but I just
think that there is something that the players saw that
(01:04:18):
we didn't see. And it's not nothing bad. I just
don't think that she is I think the edit had,
you know, did a little editing magic on her. That's
my hot Aubrey.
Speaker 5 (01:04:29):
I'm going with the people kick is crazy. I agree
with you though, because I've seen Aubrey and Game Changers.
I've seen her in all of the seasons except for
Edge of Extinction. And when I watched the first episode
of Edge of Extinction and they were like, Aubrey's back,
I should have went, who's Aubrey. Yeah, I didn't even
(01:04:52):
remember her.
Speaker 3 (01:04:54):
Yeah, well you know who did? Q Q remembered her
because with Mariah said that's her her favorite player. He
was like, that's a huge red flag.
Speaker 4 (01:05:02):
You have to go.
Speaker 2 (01:05:03):
Now, that's and they're no truly I mean, that was
a wild moment. But there are people truly believe and
I that's why I'm in the minority. Like people think
that Aubrey's one of the greatest of all time and
very smart and all that stuff, and I just don't.
I'm just don't subscribe to that.
Speaker 3 (01:05:17):
Sorry, Aubrey, all right, I am up next, and let's
see who's left here. Uh yeah, we're getting to the
dregs of.
Speaker 5 (01:05:30):
Of Kolby going to be last pick. You think, maybe,
you know what.
Speaker 4 (01:05:34):
I'll take Kolby right now?
Speaker 3 (01:05:35):
How about that? Because I'll take him because he's not
a threat as we saw in the last season he
was in. And then he you know, he'll just get
out there and be like, Man, Fiji's beautiful and I
when I look up at the stars, I just think,
I'm so thankful for everything in my life. And you know,
the confessionals like that are why I want kolbe on
(01:05:57):
my team.
Speaker 5 (01:05:58):
Yeah, Kobe will get out in Fiji. Man, this is
what makes me love America.
Speaker 3 (01:06:03):
Yeah, he's like, Man, these trees remind me of Texas.
Even though we don't have trees like these, we do
have trees in general of trees. All right, Ted, give
us your Colby impression taste.
Speaker 2 (01:06:18):
Zero zero. I think that here's can I just say another.
I think that Colby actually does keep up with Survivor.
He went on the record and said he watches with
his family, but he watches after the season is over.
So I think that he might have a little more strategy,
at least with the new era and the pace of
(01:06:38):
it all. Then a lot of people might give him
credit for it just because he's he is somebody. He's
an og. But he does watch with his family apparently
almost every single season up to today.
Speaker 3 (01:06:48):
So okay, that's the kind of insight you get from TAG.
I would have never known about Colby's watching habits.
Speaker 2 (01:06:56):
The things I know.
Speaker 5 (01:06:58):
I'm up, dude. All right, my team so far as Ozzie, Coach,
Savannah Lewis, Stephanie, and my boy Q.
Speaker 3 (01:07:08):
Oh my god, yeah, Q's still there. I can't believe
I took Colby over him. But it's a fake draft.
I can fix that in the real one.
Speaker 5 (01:07:14):
You can cancel Christmas.
Speaker 3 (01:07:15):
Brother, Actually, I think this is the last year of
my or no, I think next year might be the
last year of my Christmas being canceled because Q. We did.
Speaker 4 (01:07:23):
We reached out.
Speaker 3 (01:07:24):
To him to have a cameo done, and he canceled
all of our Christmases except for Chase because Chase drafted him.
Speaker 4 (01:07:30):
He said, canceled for the next three years.
Speaker 3 (01:07:32):
Oh my goodness, wait, I don't have Christmas until twenty
twenty eight.
Speaker 2 (01:07:37):
Yeah, wow, man, Actually, uh, that's a tough draw. Yeah,
I'm really sorry about that.
Speaker 3 (01:07:42):
It's okay, everybody rules, Yeah, but anything else And if
this is the real draft, as you take him first, Chase.
Speaker 5 (01:07:51):
I'm thinking about it. I'm really I love Q. I
think he's not a super strong player. He's not even
that great at challenges. Uh, but man, is he not
charismatic and likable?
Speaker 3 (01:08:01):
You would think somebody who made it onto the ole
Miss football team as a wide receiver would be really
good at challenges. But he he fumbled then and he fumbled.
Speaker 2 (01:08:10):
Oh oh man, yeah, my hot take his cues first
one out and I will see I will die on that.
I will down that hill. In Fiji, there was one
night where we were we we basically all got to
casta like right down, like who we think is gonna win,
and then who we think is first one out? And
then we had to defend our choices. So I said Tiffany,
(01:08:31):
and I said the first boot, I said C And
I think that Q is gonna come in playing like
Tony in Game Changers. I think Tony comes in super
hot and like is super chaotic and no one wants
and I think that Q is going to do that
and I genuinely believe Q is first boot, and I
(01:08:52):
was the only one there that believes me and Ryan.
Ryan also agreed with me. He didn't want to choose,
he didn't want to have the same answer, so he
Stephanie as his first boot, which I could also see.
But I and Everyone's like, no, Kyle's first boot, Kyle's
first boot. No, guys, no it's not it's no one really,
(01:09:13):
I don't even think Kyle is gonna be that big
of a threat out there, because we just saw everybody
raise their hands saying who would you vote for at
final Trouble Council if Camilla was there, and every single
person raised their hand and said Camilla. So I really
don't even think he's that big of a threat, even
though he's someone who just won. But and the whole
and public, I think with these kind of seasons nowadays,
(01:09:34):
public opinion is gonna be worth more than how people
really even like originally played like. I think Genevieve and
Emily are gonna be huge targets because they have so
many stands, and I think when people go on fifty,
they're gonna want to be like, no, I want to
have stands. So the people who already have stands need
to go out, even if they don't want to admit it.
(01:09:54):
So I genuinely think that like Jennivie, But I think
that Q is going to play so chaotically. He's first
boot and I will down that hill and the otherwise.
Speaker 5 (01:10:03):
I don't love how you know, he kind of tried
to quit in his season where he was definitely tried
to quit.
Speaker 1 (01:10:09):
But that does take a special type of personality to say, hey,
bolt me out and then and then it.
Speaker 2 (01:10:14):
Doesn't ignore it, you know what, you're not wrong wrong.
Speaker 3 (01:10:17):
And he kind of had tony energy when he was
doing the Hide and Seek game and then you know,
reading way too much into what everybody did in Hide
and Seek as like their personality type, He's like Ben's
hiding in the grass because that's what he does.
Speaker 5 (01:10:28):
He's under the radar, snake. Yeah, yeah, I was wrong, No, yeah,
he was.
Speaker 1 (01:10:35):
How long into season fifty, episode one will it take
to get the first Q skirt reference?
Speaker 2 (01:10:41):
Oh? Seconds?
Speaker 5 (01:10:44):
Yeah, I think I think he's wearing it on the boat.
Speaker 2 (01:10:46):
I think he's wearing it on the boat.
Speaker 3 (01:10:48):
Yeah, what are you selling them?
Speaker 2 (01:10:50):
All? Right?
Speaker 3 (01:10:50):
I think this is the last round? So teg who
is your final pick?
Speaker 2 (01:10:55):
Okay? We only have what four people left?
Speaker 3 (01:10:58):
I think so or five.
Speaker 2 (01:11:02):
Okay, and they are Kyle, Joe, Rick Devons, and Chrissy
and Chrissy ooh ooh, interesting, interesting, interesting choices. I adore Kyle,
but I don't want to choose.
Speaker 3 (01:11:19):
Him because he peat himself. Is that why? That's what
it's the war? Yeah, Eva would not let people forget
that he pat himself.
Speaker 2 (01:11:30):
That's a brother sister douopf I've ever seen one. Uh,
I don't want so. I don't think. I think Joe
honestly could go far because of Jonathan, because of Colby,
because of like the coach, like these people who I
think are gonna be like loyal. I think that Joe
really could go far. But I also don't want. I
(01:11:50):
think I'm gonna go with Rick Devons.
Speaker 4 (01:11:52):
All right, I extumption.
Speaker 3 (01:11:55):
I think he's.
Speaker 2 (01:11:57):
He's had the most he's had the most idols in
his possession in all time for all of Survivor in
one season, sorry, in one season. I think you know,
that could be a red flag for some people, him
finding so many idols, But I don't know. He's fun.
He was able to make an alliance with another one
of my favorite players, David Wright. I think that there's
(01:12:19):
some some movement there. Yeah.
Speaker 1 (01:12:22):
Yeah, again, I'm not familiar with his work yet, but
when I saw the picture, I thought it was Jared
from Subway and.
Speaker 5 (01:12:28):
That came the big red flags.
Speaker 1 (01:12:30):
Was real confused, and so I'm out on him.
Speaker 2 (01:12:34):
I get that.
Speaker 3 (01:12:35):
Y'all know how much I love D. But I've listened
to every season of On Fire. Like I said, Rick
Devins is the best. They should have just kept him
on the show. I've never even seen a season, but
I was like, this guy is awesome. He's so charming
on the podcast, and these ad reads were terrible. As
much as I love D's game, she cannot do an
ad read to save her Life's all right, who's your
(01:12:57):
final pick?
Speaker 5 (01:12:58):
Ban?
Speaker 1 (01:12:59):
Yeah? I I'm glad. I'm glad that Joe's still around
because I'm interested in drafting Joe in general, because I
think Joe is gonna come back and he's gonna realize, oh,
you do have to play a little bit, like it
can't just be about friendship. At some point, you got
(01:13:21):
to do something or else they're not going to vote.
Speaker 4 (01:13:23):
For you and find there's no no Eva.
Speaker 1 (01:13:25):
There's no EVA, and so it is interesting if you
if you look at last season, like, what does his.
Speaker 5 (01:13:32):
Game look like without Eva?
Speaker 1 (01:13:34):
He I think he's forced to pivot a little bit,
and I'm intrigued by what that pivot's gonna be. I
think he is somebody who could be voted out really early.
I think he's somebody who could win it all. A
really interesting pick, and I'm happy that he's my last one.
Speaker 3 (01:13:46):
Yeah, even if he doesn't win the Survivor TikTok stan,
editors do win because he's gonna be out there looking
sexy man. Yeah, I mean they had a field day
with like the type of him in the shallow water. Yeah,
all right, by pig, I'm gonna take another guy who's sexy.
I'm gonna go Kyle Dang because it's between Kyle and Chrissy.
(01:14:11):
So I'm leaving Chase with Christy because I don't know Chrissy,
so I don't I don't have much to talk about.
But Kyle's just a very likable guy. I think him
being the most recent winner, that is a huge target.
But that's why he's being picked second to last year.
Speaker 5 (01:14:23):
I mean that leaves me with Chrissy and I mean,
I'm not upset heroes, heroes versus healers, versus hustlers. I
think she's tied with like one of the.
Speaker 3 (01:14:35):
Different christ But do we even explain that to tug Okay,
So Chrissy from last season didn't talk very much, so
whenever we whenever she did, we had an alert sound.
Speaker 5 (01:14:46):
Yeah yeah, yeah yeah, and then she talked too much
and God sent hen But uh yeah, I think she's
one of the women that's tied with most immunity individual
immunity challenges. So I mean, I think, really I would
person to get left with. In fact, I would have
taken her over Kyle. And so I'm happy with with
being love with Chrissy.
Speaker 2 (01:15:06):
Oh yeah, and I think I Chrissy. I am actually
kind of shocked that she is so low, but I
mainly because I feel like I I love her. I
think that she, you know, the fire making twists really
kind of you can. I mean, I think that it
actually kind of helped her a little bit. I don't
think that she would have won, but I do think
that it it famously screwed her over, and so I
(01:15:29):
think that I think that she's gonna go win guns
of Blaze really wanting to play hard but not I
don't think that she overplays her hand. Like. I think
she's a smart woman. I've had some conversations with her.
She's super sweet at least like to me, I've had
some great conversations with her. I think that she's gonna
be out there to play. So I'm really excited to,
you know, see what she brings. And yeah, I think,
(01:15:51):
you know, I think it's a strong cast. So I
know that a lot of people hate on the cast,
including myself, but I think that if you don't think
about who wasn't chosen and look at this cast just
as is, it makes sense. It's not like game changes
where it like genuinely doesn't make sense. This I think,
you know, it makes sense to a to a certain degree.
And I think that, you know, even the last pick
(01:16:12):
is going to be a strong pick.
Speaker 3 (01:16:13):
So yeah, we like the cast.
Speaker 5 (01:16:15):
I think it makes sense. It's half old era half
new era.
Speaker 1 (01:16:19):
I like it.
Speaker 3 (01:16:20):
If we get into our cast gripes, this might be
in like a three hour podcast.
Speaker 2 (01:16:24):
Yeah yeah, but.
Speaker 3 (01:16:27):
Yeah, Teg, thank you so much for coming on and
doing the whole mock draft with us. I'm glad we
were finally able to make it happen.
Speaker 2 (01:16:34):
So fun. I love chatting with you guys. I love
you know, joking around and all that stuff. So this
has been a blast.
Speaker 3 (01:16:39):
And if you want to come back on for Survivor
Australia and or Big Brother coverage, just let us know.
Speaker 2 (01:16:44):
Love Okay, Yeah, I'm so down.
Speaker 5 (01:16:47):
Awesome.
Speaker 1 (01:16:48):
All right, I'm gonna stop it.
Speaker 2 (01:16:49):
Pe D.
Speaker 1 (01:16:51):
You're about to hear some ads that helped keep the
lights on here in the old studio. Thanks for listening
or don't listen. It's really up to you. At this
point is at the end of the show. I mean,
you're listening to me Hi, But here they come. I
promised they're coming. Yep, here they are. Happy Day.
