Speaker 1 (00:02):
We can win this stress. I'm a dog personneurs now
by them up.

Speaker 2 (00:06):
Let's knock them down. You told me your dog was
guy Sam.

Speaker 1 (00:09):
I'm coming over and over. You know I crack it.

Speaker 2 (00:16):
You're either in or not. It's not about a million dollars.

Speaker 1 (00:26):
All I want to do is win million hard.

Speaker 2 (00:28):
Sorry sorry, sorry sorry. Survivor is back, baby, kind of
not really in a week.

Speaker 1 (00:40):
It's back.

Speaker 2 (00:44):
Everybody's favorite season until it season.

Speaker 1 (00:48):
No one cares about this season.

Speaker 2 (00:50):
That's not Season fifty is coming fast.

Speaker 3 (00:53):
I'm very excited that he yes, yeah, hey guys, let's
not bury the lead.

Speaker 1 (01:00):
Jonathan is.

Speaker 3 (01:02):
The first time ever Jonathan's in the same room as
all of us.

Speaker 1 (01:05):
I've never met Jonathan in person before, and it.

Speaker 3 (01:08):
Just stuck his finger in my face, like I don't
want him to go back now.

Speaker 1 (01:10):
Yeah, I'm halfway, timpt.

Speaker 4 (01:12):
I almost slapped you just for the sound for the microphone,
but then I thought.

Speaker 1 (01:16):
Well that would be a little far.

Speaker 3 (01:18):
We had an alliance last year, and now you're gonna
slap me.

Speaker 2 (01:21):
I have started this this season very Bachmann alliance. But
it doesn't matter about alliances because this is and this
is season forty nine and today we're doing the pre
season extravaganza where we're gonna be going through all of
the new cast members talking about all the little details
of their lives.

Speaker 1 (01:36):
Remember last year when I accused someone of being a felon,
that was Yea, and then he messaged that A great move, Chase.
He was cool about it. Though he really handled it.
He was cool. And we're talking about Joe. It was Joe. Yeah,
it's not just anyone.

Speaker 5 (01:50):
Yeah, final Joe, Joe who famously made made Jeff Probe's
cry because of his kindness.

Speaker 4 (01:58):
Yea, Hey, Heroes story arc you know. Yeah, sure, I
was young, I was dumb. I've learned from that experience.
So we have some announcements to make. Chase, do you
want to let everybody know the plans?

Speaker 1 (02:10):
Oh? I like that, is Chase. Oh, I like that more.

Speaker 6 (02:14):
With announcements, guys, we have some exciting news about how
we're doing the draft in the season for season forty nine,
each of us.

Speaker 1 (02:25):
Well, first of all, elephant in the room and I
don't mean Jonathan. He lost forty pounds calories.

Speaker 2 (02:35):
Oh it's a small guys. Kristen is not going to
be full time this season. Yeah, Jonathan's going to be
kind of on his own. That's okay you And like,
did you, like, did you tell her to shut up?

Speaker 4 (02:50):
Like what happened? You know, classic male patriarchy. I just
walked it and said you're out. You know, no you
got dropped?

Speaker 2 (02:57):
No, no, yeah, you Got's the thing, if I'm being
real about this, I was like, Kristen, I'm ready to
do this, and she was like, you know, last season
you kept mouthing off saying you won. That's true, and
this season, I'm out, let's see how you do. That's
what That's what she did. High stakes for you, because
if you win this season, you've proven to everyone that

(03:19):
you didn't just hide behind you.

Speaker 1 (03:20):
Now it's huge, huge steaks for me right now.

Speaker 3 (03:23):
And we know it was all Kristen because I think,
you know, Kyle was more of her pick and you
decided to go charity after that. We remember, correct, we
still had to agree on our picks, you know.

Speaker 1 (03:35):
But I think she was leading the charge. I picked Joe, though,
who lost. He lost. He won everyone's heart, so unlike Bonning.

Speaker 5 (03:46):
It's I will just say, it's not a good look
for you, it's not a good look for us. The
only woman we had couldn't stand us, but let's run
with that.

Speaker 2 (03:54):
Yeah. So that's the first big change is happening this season.
The second big change a more exciting announce instead of
just calling it p D's team or Brand's team or
the losing team. Jonathan, you we we have team names.
Each team is gonna have their own team name. Would
everybody like to go around and say their team name?

Speaker 1 (04:13):
Yes?

Speaker 2 (04:14):
I remember mine, I do remember it.

Speaker 5 (04:18):
Come on, Brandon, mine, Mine's alliterative. Mine is a brand's
blind Siders.

Speaker 2 (04:24):
Yeah, but more confidently, my team's name is Brand's blind Side.

Speaker 1 (04:32):
Hooray, it's doing it, Jonathan. Okay, guys, is pitiful.

Speaker 4 (04:38):
I went with personally what I think is the best
name out here. I think p D would agree. I
went with the Flint and Steelers. But if you want to,
just for for ease of use, you can just call
them the Steelers.

Speaker 1 (04:52):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (04:53):
So, Jonathan, he's just trying to shove a knife into
my back to start this off. I don't know what
it's about, but okay, because last year we have read
last season.

Speaker 1 (05:02):
Sorry it feels like last year.

Speaker 3 (05:04):
Yeah, we had an alliance for most of the season
and then it kind of it's soured towards the end,
and I think Jonathan's better.

Speaker 1 (05:12):
I'm sick of being bullied. That's what it is.

Speaker 2 (05:14):
Yeah, you know, we're a couple of weeks into the season. Now, Pete,
how are they doing We're not?

Speaker 3 (05:19):
Oh we are okay, We're we are doing good.

Speaker 2 (05:25):
We're two and one right now.

Speaker 1 (05:27):
Wow.

Speaker 2 (05:28):
I like how you didn't go three and Oh that's
that's playing your cards right.

Speaker 1 (05:32):
Uh, pet Life Experience.

Speaker 2 (05:34):
Man, my team name is the Journeys, the Bachmann Journeys
Don't Stop Believing. And my team is chases fake idols,
the fake idols.

Speaker 1 (05:47):
Uh, you could call them the fakers for sure. I
don't know about that. I don't know about that.

Speaker 2 (05:53):
We got like custom jerseys made. But the really cool
part about us having our own teams and team names
is this year for our patrons. If you are a
patron over on Patreon, slash making the merge, yeah, Survivor podcast.

Speaker 1 (06:10):
Survivor pod yep, yep, yep.

Speaker 2 (06:12):
You'll find it in the description Smash that we're going
to be making it where all of our patrons can
lock in with one of the four teams.

Speaker 1 (06:23):
And when you lock in with one of the four teams,
that is.

Speaker 2 (06:26):
Who you're rooting for all season, and at the end
of the season, if you are locked in with the
winning tribe, the winning team, whether it be the Blindsiders,
the Journeys, the Flint and Steelers, or.

Speaker 1 (06:39):
The Fake Idols, you will also win.

Speaker 2 (06:42):
And we're gonna send everyone that's on the winning team
a little prize.

Speaker 1 (06:46):
Wow. What's the price. We haven't decided yet.

Speaker 2 (06:49):
It's going to be like a little trophy, but yes,
it's good to put it out there.

Speaker 1 (06:53):
Yeah, to hold us to it.

Speaker 3 (06:54):
So you could potentially win a little Jody Nule Cup and.

Speaker 2 (06:57):
You can be a part of the draft even more
than normal. And then some other big changes that are
happening this season. We'll have a Patreon exclusive show on
Wednesday nights Wow, right after the episode airs, and we'll
be doing a very quick fresh from Tribal show where
we just kind of talk about what happened directly, because
remember takes to join us. If you are a patron,

(07:20):
you can join us in the live chat Patreon during
the Survivor episodes on Wednesday night.

Speaker 1 (07:26):
It's a ton of fun. And I think that's everything, right, Pud.

Speaker 3 (07:29):
I think so, I'm really excited for I'm gonna have
the most people lock in with my team.

Speaker 4 (07:34):
I think unless people really want to just make you angry,
because they could all just join the Steelers with me.

Speaker 3 (07:42):
Why would everyone join the guy who's been the worst.

Speaker 4 (07:46):
If you want to be in on a really great
bit and a good joke and be on the inside
of it and just watch a guy crumble for the
next couple of weeks, make sure you join the Steelers.

Speaker 1 (07:56):
Clinton.

Speaker 5 (07:56):
I have a feeling that my team is gonna take off.
I think people are attracted to alliteration' I was so
bad last season that I think people are gonna I.

Speaker 1 (08:11):
Think I'm worth the risk this. Ye're the underdog story.

Speaker 5 (08:13):
You're still an underdog here, and I think that I
can pull this one off.

Speaker 2 (08:17):
I think you can too. But and I was right
about Yule. If you remember, we're right about youle Hey.

Speaker 3 (08:23):
We've been doing this for five seasons, four or five seasons,
and I've never missed the playoffs. I've always had somebody
in the final three. So lock in with PD.

Speaker 2 (08:32):
You guys will be able to lock in after we draft,
and for any patrons that join throughout season forty nine,
you'll be able to lock in immediately. After you join,
but you can't just wait around until the finals and
then what's to cutoff?

Speaker 1 (08:46):
Merge? I think the cutoff will probably be the Merge cutoff.
I think it's the Verge is fair.

Speaker 2 (08:50):
Yeah, all right, guys, it's time for the preseason exce yes,
do it. We're back, baby, We're back.

Speaker 5 (08:59):
We have eighteen people to talk about, starting with one,
Riz God.

Speaker 2 (09:07):
I want people to watch this season and say, wow,
that Riz God kid left an impact on Survivor.

Speaker 7 (09:12):
Like I want people to know that they can dream
big and when they.

Speaker 1 (09:15):
Dream big, their dreams do come true. Because look at me, guys.
So Rizzo hot start Chase, guys.

Speaker 2 (09:30):
So, yeah, I didn't even.

Speaker 1 (09:31):
Notice I did anything wrong. Guys. Okay, guys, I have
zo Velvic Velvic.

Speaker 2 (09:40):
Yeah what I don't you just like you did the
thing at the start and then you don't know his name.

Speaker 1 (09:47):
I don't know how to pronounce.

Speaker 2 (09:48):
Come on, I haven't written down. At the end of
the day, he's risk. I feel he's losing members as
we go.

Speaker 1 (09:57):
Man, you're doing.

Speaker 2 (09:59):
Great, Chase, you take it from the top two Riz
God that in No.

Speaker 1 (10:05):
Yeah, I've got Riz Velevic and everyone a meat. Don't don't.
It wasn't a third or fourth.

Speaker 2 (10:14):
It's a hard name.

Speaker 1 (10:15):
It's a hard name. For now you do it.

Speaker 2 (10:16):
I'm awful at names. Wait until you see what I
have next.

Speaker 1 (10:20):
So Joe, I want to say.

Speaker 2 (10:23):
His government name, what his mama named oscar Rizzo Velevic.
There you go, and Riz God as he's been referred to,
the the r I z z g O D, the
one in own leaf from tribal baby B.

Speaker 5 (10:39):
And potentially at this time of this recording, two time
winner Risky.

Speaker 1 (10:44):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (10:47):
When I was telling everybody who they were recovering, I
put two time winner Risky very possible.

Speaker 5 (10:53):
It's very playing fifty, it's very interesting.

Speaker 3 (10:57):
I saw Angelina comment on one of his posts or
he said something about being normal, and she said, define normal.

Speaker 2 (11:06):
Hard to be normal when you're the two time winner
back to back back. Yeah, probably the first time back
to back seasons if I'm thinking correct.

Speaker 1 (11:13):
Give me, give me reason to believe in Risky.

Speaker 2 (11:15):
Okay, So immediately he became a big meme online. When
we saw the preview for forty nine. At the end
of forty eight, everybody was like, get a load of
this guy. But the tides have changed. Everyone is beginning
to really love this guy because he is very awesome.
He's very sweet and charismatic. This is a little bit
about Rizzo. This is what he says about the game
of Survivor. He says, I want to chase greatness. I

(11:35):
want to be one of the best players to ever
play this game. He's passionate about Survivor. His whole backstory
is about how much he loves Survivor.

Speaker 1 (11:45):
And do you have his age? By chance? He looked young.
He is young. I don't have it.

Speaker 2 (11:50):
He's around there yet. Okay, did you know that for sure?
Did you just say that? I had to watch other
videos a brand.

Speaker 1 (11:56):
Thanks. So he is young, but he's not that young age.
And you guys are young. Yeah, what's with that? You
guys are young. You guys are young. It's fine. I'm
young too, Yeah.

Speaker 2 (12:12):
Say it.

Speaker 1 (12:13):
His pet say I'm young too, Yeah, your heart, I
think you're young. Yes.

Speaker 2 (12:20):
So, Rizzo's pet, Peeve, is as a fan of Survivor,
people who make emotional or illogical decisions. Very spock answer
from riz g got those two things alone showed me
that he's ready to play and play hard and he's
not just gonna be like a meme character.

Speaker 1 (12:39):
In this season.

Speaker 4 (12:41):
He's got he's got some work going behind the scenes,
you know.

Speaker 2 (12:44):
But here's the best part about Rizzo, and this is
why you should support Rizzky, but don't draft him because
I'm drafting them. Which is They ask him who is
your biggest inspiration and why, and he said, aside from
my parents, gotta be John Cena, whoa growing up, the
three constants were served ver sports and wrestling. He is
the definition of never give up, no matter how hard

(13:04):
life got, no matter the obstacles. Those three words got
me through it all. He taught me grit, determination, and optimism.

Speaker 1 (13:11):
As a kid. Seeing him defy the odds motivated me
to do the same. He still hustling, loyalty and respect.

Speaker 3 (13:18):
I was about to say, I thought the three words
were gonna be hustle, loyalty, respect.

Speaker 2 (13:22):
Come on, the man taught me things I still hold
on to and will in this game. That's insane. I
hated seeing that fact. He then goes on to say
all that. He then goes on to say that the
trait about himself that will help him win the game
is that he is the luckiest person he's ever met.

Speaker 1 (13:40):
He has so much luck that's interesting.

Speaker 2 (13:42):
I think he's gonna use that luck to get all
the way to the end of forty nine win that
go to fifty win, that they're gonna bring them back
for fifty two, not fifty one, and he's gonna win
that one as well become the first.

Speaker 1 (13:53):
Well know if that'd be so chase?

Speaker 3 (13:55):
If you get the first round pick, if you defy
all the odds and you don't have to pick last
for the first time ever.

Speaker 5 (14:00):
Which this is an insane hypothetical, never gonna happen.

Speaker 1 (14:04):
It's gonna happen eventually.

Speaker 3 (14:06):
Every single time you've been last, it's been one hundred
percent of the time. I don't think it's gonna change.
But if you got the first pick, would you take
the risk? God, would you consider it?

Speaker 2 (14:15):
I don't want to show my cards already and let
you guys know what I'm gonna do for the draft.
But yeah, this is what I'll say about risk. Got
a couple of things that are a bit of a
turnoff for me. One, he's a Sena fan and a
Yankee fan scram. Two, I don't trust lucky people because
they're trying. There's a Yeah, how strategic can he be

(14:37):
if he's relying almost entirely on luck.

Speaker 5 (14:39):
He's a lucky person. There is some luck in the
game of survivor. I think that's what documented. But you
also how big of a fan is he, like a
he's a super fan. Sometimes then super fan with him, Okay,
sometimes them super fans can get in there and just
over overread the room, like overplay.

Speaker 1 (14:57):
Every now it'sis paralysis. It's exactly right.

Speaker 2 (14:59):
I mean, at the end of the day, we know
that he was one of two players. We know he's
at least relatively far he's gonna because.

Speaker 5 (15:07):
I mean, they still brought back Boston Robb even though
he didn't go insanely far the first time, exactly because
they saw something in him.

Speaker 4 (15:13):
I do feel like sometimes people who say they're really lucky, though,
are the people who are like showing up and doing
enough stuff that it works. So there is a possible
strategy there where he just feels like he's lucky just
working hard, but he's actually just doing the thing that works.

Speaker 2 (15:29):
He works in sales, does oh but not commission based sales.
And he even he goes he goes, I'm not like
one of those scummy car salesmen.

Speaker 1 (15:38):
He goes I work in tech.

Speaker 2 (15:40):
I wanted to work in media, but there's not a
lot of money in media, and I support my family
and I take care of my family.

Speaker 4 (15:46):
So he's a really great person. And if you talk
badly about him at all, probably the devil. I kind
of like him from what I'm hearing. Yeah, he seems swell.
He seems swell.

Speaker 1 (15:55):
All right, let's move on. Number two. Is MC? I
put people off at first.

Speaker 7 (15:59):
I think I'm going to be like a mean girl
or standoffish. I feel like I need to remember to smile,
so I don't have RBF.

Speaker 1 (16:08):
What is RBS for?

Speaker 2 (16:09):
I left in a little bit of the music on
a lot of these because I thought it was funny
for there to be like half a second. That is
Michelle MC.

Speaker 5 (16:19):
She's twenty nine and she's a personal trainer, but also
is in sales, but only for the insurance benefits girls same.

Speaker 2 (16:28):
She is a new Survivor fan. She only started watching
in season forty seven. Who she's I know, very quick
turnaround to watch forty seven and then immediately apply and
get on for forty nine. Is I think a lot
of people.

Speaker 3 (16:43):
Are like, if I open the coconut, they would cheer
for me.

Speaker 5 (16:45):
Yes, she'd in between forty seven and coming out to
Fiji for this.

Speaker 1 (16:52):
She's been watched half the seasons.

Speaker 5 (16:55):
She's not going to tell anybody that she's a new
fan though, and I understand why, Like if you have
been applying to be on this show for like many
many years, like a lot of these people have, and
you find out one person watched forty seven.

Speaker 1 (17:07):
Applied and immediately got to pay.

Speaker 5 (17:10):
Her parents immigrated from Nigeria, so she's the child of
immigrants and she expects big They expect big things from her,
like being a doctor or whatever. So she promptly moved
to La to work in sales.

Speaker 1 (17:23):
So she's hoping that.

Speaker 5 (17:25):
This is the big break that will make her parents
proud of her. An interesting thing about her is she
doesn't drink any caffeine, no coffee, no energy drinks, no nothing,
no soda. She doesn't do that, which I think might
come into play at least early on to give her
an advantage.

Speaker 1 (17:42):
Yeah, she doesn't have to have withdraws.

Speaker 5 (17:44):
Yeah, she is super strong, like she is a personal trainer.
Her video is almost all just her flexing at the camera.
Very impressive. My fear with that is maybe immediate threats like.
She is an outspoken woman who's also incredibly strong, which

(18:06):
is a tough tough thing to have when you're playing Survivor.
So we'll see another interesting thing. She did not practice
any puzzles of any kind before going to the island.

Speaker 1 (18:17):
We'll see if that comes back to.

Speaker 5 (18:19):
Bide her her Survivor hot take call it recency bias,
but she thinks that the new era is better than
the old era hounter. And then the reason that she
thinks that she is gonna be the sole survivor is quote,
I've got the social charm to be everyone's best friend
and outwit, but I've also got the athleticism to crush

(18:41):
physical challenges and outplay. I've got the mental endurance to outlast.
She's got it all. Very interesting player. I like her
a lot. I think she is going to be one
of those people in episode one where you hear people go,
she's a threat threat, we need to get her out

(19:01):
of here quick, and so I think that could play
against her or could be one of those things that, hey,
we've got to get the other weaker players out first
early on.

Speaker 1 (19:12):
So that we can win some challenges. She has that
going for her.

Speaker 4 (19:16):
It totally depends on how you know, if she's just
gonna hop on the island and be like, Oh, don't
worry guys, like I can build it like.

Speaker 2 (19:23):
I work out all the time. You know, sometimes people
play it that way and they get weird. She's definitely
an interesting player. She is the type of player that
I think could go far. My gut says that she
won't win, but we'll see.

Speaker 1 (19:36):
Remember when TK was too fast and they voted him off?

Speaker 2 (19:38):
Yeah, too, like that to that point.

Speaker 5 (19:41):
That is some of the luck that comes especially early
on in Survivor, Like the tribe that you end up
on is either going to be a tribe that quickly
votes out the strong players because they think their threats
or feels like they need to keep the strong people
along to get them further along in the game.

Speaker 1 (19:56):
And it is.

Speaker 2 (19:57):
Just a try by tribe basis. And she'll probably be
great in the mud baptism.

Speaker 1 (20:01):
Oh yeah, were ready.

Speaker 2 (20:06):
To move on?

Speaker 3 (20:06):
Actually, can I tell a story about me saying that's
how you do it? Unironically didn't mean that it just
came out.

Speaker 1 (20:12):
Were you watching football? No, I was cutting a steak.
I was cutting his stake.

Speaker 3 (20:19):
The person wanted twenty ounces and it was like it
was a kid, and I was like, that's how you
do it.

Speaker 2 (20:26):
It didn't even pop into your head. No, it just
just float out of me. How is this kid not
too big? We're not like Rizzler. Maybe a gym rat kid.
Oh okay, going out to his car to eat that
meat raw? Those people eating raw?

Speaker 1 (20:44):
I like my steak? How I like my Egyptian gods raw?
Oh yeah, I'm up. Nest right, here's the next player.

Speaker 8 (20:51):
I've been watching The Vivor with my family since elementary school.
I remember watching Rob and Amber canoodling on screen and
I'm on b like, I can't believe they're showing this
on TV. And then I think it spurred her to
like giving like the birds and the beef talk with me.

Speaker 3 (21:08):
That's my favorite SoundBite out of all of them, I thinks.
So my first contestant is Sophie Sigretti, and if you
don't draft her, you might regretty.

Speaker 2 (21:18):
Ready.

Speaker 3 (21:19):
So, just like shaw Haen last season, Sophie was an
alternate for forty eight and she said that, like, one
of the worst parts of that whole thing was the
cast photo because she was outed as an alternate and
the chances were getting slimmer and slimmer for her to
get on the show, and then she said that she
saw the dreams slowly disappear from her eyes and she

(21:40):
was devastated and furious.

Speaker 2 (21:41):
Yeah, because the way, if you don't know, the way
that they do those alternates is you don't really know
you're an alternate until everyone's in Fiji. Yeah, and speaking
of alternates, MC, who we just talked about, and she was.

Speaker 1 (21:54):
Oh, yeah, Truel, because we're two alternates. This is I
think this might be the first time that get to
later on. Yeah.

Speaker 3 (22:01):
Yeah, there was a little behind the bathroom deal. The
bathroom deal we got exposed.

Speaker 1 (22:07):
I love a behind the bathroom deal. Yeah, so uh, Sophie.

Speaker 3 (22:11):
She said something that was very poignant for reality TV
right now. She said, when people get really sad that
they hurt someone's feelings at tribal part of me is like,
get a grip. This is a game. It's a game
for a million dollars. This is twenty six days. It's
like the type of thing when somebody's on a reality
show and they say I love you after a week.

Speaker 1 (22:29):
You're in a silo, you're in a vacuum.

Speaker 2 (22:31):
Get your head out of your get your head out
of your ass, and remember where you are. Dude, Vincent Morgan, Dude,
She's not the only one like that this season. And
I'm so excited.

Speaker 1 (22:42):
Yeah, me too.

Speaker 2 (22:43):
So Sophie is thirty one and she does product strategy
at YouTube. Wow, and you might you might wonder what
what does that entail? What is product strategy at YouTube?
And based off her answer, I have no idea. It's
just she's like, I'm sending play buttons out.

Speaker 3 (23:00):
Okay, so Mike Bloom and shout out Mike Bloom, by
the way, because we got to give Mike his flowers.
Most of our information I feel like comes from Mike Bloom.

Speaker 1 (23:09):
I would say all of it.

Speaker 3 (23:11):
Most Yeah, I'd say, like, this is the Mike Bloom Show.
So he asked what does that involve considering how big
a product YouTube is, and she said yeah, because obviously
huge company, huge products. I really narrow in on something
we call our impact reports, which focus on the good
impact that YouTube is creating in all countries around the world.

Speaker 5 (23:31):
So, like, her job is like what thirty minutes a day, yeah,
something like that.

Speaker 2 (23:36):
How many jobs are we do? How many jobs are
we creating?

Speaker 1 (23:39):
Because creators are hiring people.

Speaker 3 (23:41):
How much money are we contributing to different countries GDPs
because we're paying.

Speaker 2 (23:46):
Creators to this podcast, that's right. Yeah, and you know what,
Chase is buying pizza today. This is put that in
the impact report.

Speaker 1 (23:53):
Hey, we couldn't do it without suck, Yeah, she said.

Speaker 3 (23:57):
So it's kind of nice. You know, AI and tech
are under fire these days, and sometimes for very good reason,
so it's nice to get a look at the positive
side of things. And then part of that is a
little bit of economics and math. So she's smart obviously.

Speaker 1 (24:10):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (24:10):
And I like to dig deep for my contestants because
that's what Jeff tells us to do. He tells us, Yeah,
you gotta dig deep. That's what Jeff says. So the
first thing I did for Sophie was I went to YouTube.
I typed her name.

Speaker 1 (24:22):
Hmmm.

Speaker 3 (24:23):
I found a sketch group that she wrote for in college,
centered around the school she went to, and it wasn't good. Oh,
as is the case for most college sketch groups.

Speaker 2 (24:31):
If she's listening to this, do you want to kind
of backtrack on that because I'm gonna give her props later.

Speaker 3 (24:36):
Okay, So I found this ten minute talk that she gave.
It was a Moth Radio Hour parody and it was
all about her lifelong of session with becoming famous.

Speaker 2 (24:44):
Oh oh, and you might see that as a red flag,
but I thought she was really well spoken and she
had good cadence.

Speaker 3 (24:51):
But it was from nine years ago and has one
hundred views. So do we have a clip or I
don't have a clip, but I want to talk about
her attempts at getting famed.

Speaker 1 (24:59):
Oh I would let she to discussed, yes, yeah, yeah.

Speaker 2 (25:01):
Attempt number one she tried to get in Greece, you
know the musical as a child, didn't have the vocal range,
did not get cast. Hmuh you guys want to hear
my John Travolta impression from that movie?

Speaker 1 (25:12):
Yeah, because he also didn't have the vocal range for it. Cindy,
what are you doing here? That's exactly what he sounds like. Yeah,
great job.

Speaker 3 (25:22):
So in middle school she tried doing hand puppet covers
of Kelly Clarkson on YouTube. Nice to later discover that
her parents made it to where the videos couldn't be
seen by the public.

Speaker 1 (25:31):
So good move by the parents. And then a senior
year of high school and.

Speaker 3 (25:35):
She's worried about becoming another cog in the business machine
that doesn't have an effect on anyone personally, because she
wants to be a star baby.

Speaker 1 (25:42):
Yeah we've all been there. Yeah.

Speaker 3 (25:44):
She can't sing, and she didn't think that she had
what it takes to be a button model, and everybody
knows that singing and showing your butt that's how you
get famous on Instagram.

Speaker 1 (25:52):
So she had to pivot.

Speaker 2 (25:53):
She's like, I'll go with comedy, and then she went
to also jam.

Speaker 5 (25:58):
Yeah, you know, I just can I'm not going to
show my butt like that. Well I disagree. I think
the butt modeling stuff is really taking.

Speaker 1 (26:04):
Is it working? Yeah?

Speaker 2 (26:05):
Okay, do you guys know where to look? I just
I wasn't so sure that I was ready to go
public with it. Well yeah, so this is where I
share the greatest discovery of all because her idea, after
you know, trying to pivot to comedy, is that she
was going to go to BuzzFeed, figure out what's trending,
and do something based off that. And she determined that
the two most popular things in the world nine or

(26:27):
ten years ago were the Kardashians and SpongeBob references Yep,
she nailed it. So her idea was to take pictures
of Kim and Kanye together and photoshot Patrick Starr in
place of Kanye West.

Speaker 1 (26:42):
With the account is still active in the screenshots.

Speaker 2 (26:44):
Oh man, no way, what's the account called.

Speaker 1 (26:48):
I'll just look it up. This is I actually love
this so much. What's it called? This is called Kim
Rick Starr? Man?

Speaker 4 (26:55):
I mean, yeah, this is the best. Did it blow up?

Speaker 7 (27:01):
No?

Speaker 3 (27:02):
I think I think it has like a few hundred followers.

Speaker 1 (27:05):
How did that not work? Camery Star? Okay, yeah, that's
I feel like, yeah, send it my way. I I
feel like this, Wow, when did she do this? Guys?
We'll put some of these pictures up on the Instagram
if you wanted to see.

Speaker 2 (27:22):
I think it was about a decade ago. Early.

Speaker 1 (27:26):
It was a great idea. Yeah, this is phenomenal. It's
a good photoshop.

Speaker 2 (27:29):
But do you think she was too early to this
that would work?

Speaker 1 (27:34):
It wouldn't work now because he's a Nazi. But are
you right now? I forgot he's not.

Speaker 3 (27:41):
Really involved in this because he's replaced by Patrick.

Speaker 1 (27:43):
I say, restore it, you know, restore the.

Speaker 3 (27:46):
Bring back, bring back Pete Davidson, like photoshot Patrick with Davidson.

Speaker 2 (27:53):
Ye Windward on Pete Davidson. Really well, Brandon is also
going to run that page. I will run that page
all collapse. I was gonna say, should get that going
and then maybe just try to get her in on
it during the season.

Speaker 1 (28:04):
Totally should do so.

Speaker 3 (28:06):
The other thing I found from Sophie was a podcast
she made titled History of the Sports bra It had
a nine episode run.

Speaker 1 (28:12):
I listened to some of it. It was pretty good.

Speaker 2 (28:14):
Was it informative or was it comedian? Hey, Pete, real quick,
what's the history of the sports bra U? She didn't
really get into it. It's more of a joke.

Speaker 1 (28:23):
Yeah, well man.

Speaker 2 (28:24):
None of these attempts at getting famous panned out.

Speaker 1 (28:27):
You know.

Speaker 3 (28:28):
Nine years ago she was at Washington University. Two years
ago she graduated from Columbia. She works at YouTube. It
seemed like Sophie was just destined to be a cog
in the business machine world.

Speaker 1 (28:39):
And honest until she got cast, act until she.

Speaker 3 (28:42):
Got cast by jacked casting producer Jesse Tannenbaum. And now Sophie,
you're gonna be famous kids.

Speaker 1 (28:48):
Yeah, Sophie's choice. I don't know. I was trying to
work it on.

Speaker 2 (28:53):
It's like the total drama Sophie's choice, said Roston, completely encapsulates.

Speaker 1 (29:02):
Is that the right word? Yeah? Brother? What the show
total drama Island.

Speaker 2 (29:06):
Is because it's an animated parody of Survivor and the
theme song is about how I wanna be famous, and
that's what she's doing.

Speaker 1 (29:15):
Keep going with the song real quick.

Speaker 2 (29:17):
No no no no no no no no no no no
no no no.

Speaker 1 (29:19):
No, Yeah, a little bit more real quick. I can't
remember it.

Speaker 2 (29:23):
I want to be I want to be famous. That's
pretty much as whole Up next, Up next, Jonathan's on
the covery. Time I go outside, somebody compliments my hair
and it's just like, I think, this look just makes
me a lot more approachable.

Speaker 1 (29:41):
Oh beautiful. Week number one, we've got mister Matt Williams.
This man is.

Speaker 4 (29:48):
Fifty two, by the way, he's the oldest in Survivor.

Speaker 1 (29:52):
Forty.

Speaker 4 (29:54):
Yeah, he's from Farmington, Utah. But now he's in Saint George, Utah.
Don't get it, don't get it twisted. He did move.
This man is an airport ramp agent. Trust bagh. Yeah,
I mean tell me why you would trust him so much?
Brandon with his hair, his hair is really awesome. I feel,

(30:16):
you know, already so close to Matt, by the way,
because I just had to study, believe it or not,
about an airport ramp agent because I'm getting a weird
pilot's license for druns and you have to learn these
dumb things. So now Matt is my number one pick. Okay, yeah,
pretty quiet about that. He's actually only because of the

(30:38):
airport stuff. I feel an unmerited like bond because of
the drones.

Speaker 1 (30:44):
Right right right, right, right right right.

Speaker 4 (30:45):
If I was landing a drone and Matt had the ramp,
i'd feel good about it. So anyway, so he describes
himself as quote confident, curious, and spontaneous. Oh so he's
in it though for the Fiji experience.

Speaker 1 (31:04):
For the money. No, no, not at all.

Speaker 2 (31:06):
Well, I believe he used to work in like Silicon
Valley and wanted a more slow.

Speaker 1 (31:13):
Did you do this guy or is Jonathan's guy?

Speaker 2 (31:15):
Hey man, I'm a complete professional, So I did Everyone's guy?

Speaker 1 (31:20):
Everyone ship in anytime you want? What? Huh? Never mind?
All right?

Speaker 4 (31:26):
Uh so, but he really really wants to cling to
a telephone poll in his underwear.

Speaker 1 (31:32):
It's one of the things that he also said, did
you hear that? He said that?

Speaker 4 (31:37):
So anyway, this is Matt. I love his personality. I
love just his hair. In general, I think that he
is going to be.

Speaker 2 (31:47):
A kind of like a fan favorite personality, just kind
of villain.

Speaker 1 (31:54):
Hey, I mean, we don't know. But that's the thing is,
there's not a.

Speaker 4 (31:57):
Ton right now out there about this other than what
we're seeing. Yeah, you know, in general, but there is
a little bit of buzz online saying that, you know,
he might be under the radar. You know, some of
the Reddit people are saying that they think he could
be one of those slips past, you know, a few
tribals and really shows himself Fiji.

Speaker 1 (32:18):
I'm not a threat psych. I wont all of the
individual immunity challenge.

Speaker 4 (32:22):
Yeah, so I'm interested to see him play. Fifty two
is pretty cool to be on here. I try to
remember it was.

Speaker 2 (32:29):
Sue Rudy was in his seventies, so yeah, it's not
that cool.

Speaker 1 (32:35):
Oh that's right, that's right.

Speaker 2 (32:36):
But fifty two I'm interested to see, like what type
of player he is.

Speaker 1 (32:41):
He could like, I don't know.

Speaker 5 (32:43):
I think people are coming back around to older players, yeah,
and kind of being in actual alliances with them, and
I think that this guy is not only an older
guy who has wisdom and whatnot, but also is like
a really seems and the one sentence that I heard
from him seems to be a really cool guy you

(33:05):
want to hang out with.

Speaker 1 (33:06):
Well, not like just somebody that hey, I'm gonna bring.

Speaker 2 (33:09):
Him to the end because they're an easy easy when
because maybe they're not want to be everybody loves well.

Speaker 4 (33:13):
One of the things he did say was that he
kind of wants to go into that subservient role first,
where it's like, oh, sure, like I'll i'll be helpful,
I'll do whatever, and he's like, but when it's time,
I'm gonna turn it on.

Speaker 2 (33:27):
Kind of a classic old school feel to it. So,
you know, mat, here's the keyword. He's gonna kid John Little.

Speaker 3 (33:38):
He has one hundred and fifteen followers on Instagram just
follow making the merge follows him.

Speaker 4 (33:45):
Yeah, I'm gonna message him and say hello, fellow Airways person.
You know That's what I'm gonna say. Yeah, he and
I are pretty much the same, because what do you do?
I fly a drone, chase get a get ahead with it.
You know, I'm pretty much the same as an airport worker.
You know, Hey, that's stolen valley.

Speaker 2 (34:04):
No, No, I'm a certified after I'm a pilot.

Speaker 1 (34:09):
Doesn't he just do the bags though?

Speaker 2 (34:12):
Yeah? But you know they say that you're only as
good as the bottom rung of a business. Wow, so
you're saying that he's the bottom of the bear. I
think that they're all the top of the bear.

Speaker 1 (34:21):
You know what.

Speaker 5 (34:22):
I trust Jonathan to describe the bottoms, because, as we've
already mentioned.

Speaker 1 (34:27):
Instagram, the bottom on that I think you'll forgetting.

Speaker 4 (34:31):
I'm in person and that I can lunch across this
desk at any of yellowis.

Speaker 1 (34:35):
In your bottom, buddy, I'm not afraid. No, okay, all right,
all right.

Speaker 7 (34:42):
I have a necklace that says boss on it that
I were every day and I had to leave that
at home.

Speaker 1 (34:49):
Oh. I love when the friends themes.

Speaker 2 (34:52):
Guys, I want to introduce you to my new favorite
Survivor player of all time, Kimberly Davis.

Speaker 1 (34:57):
Wow.

Speaker 2 (34:57):
More likable than the risk God.

Speaker 1 (35:00):
Oh wait, I didn't say that.

Speaker 2 (35:01):
Okay, who said that about somebody last year or two?

Speaker 1 (35:06):
But I don't remember who it was.

Speaker 2 (35:07):
He's gonna say it about all of them, so probably,
But no, this person is unhinged. Dude, this is great.
Great boss necklace. Okay, yeah, has a necklace, says boss on.

Speaker 1 (35:16):
It had to leave it at home.

Speaker 2 (35:19):
Guys here, I'm just gonna give you a few quotes
from Kimberly Davis, and then I have a little thing
to play.

Speaker 7 (35:24):
Uh.

Speaker 2 (35:25):
She goes, Survivor is the true game of life, unlike
the dumb eighties game where you get married and having
kids define success. Then she goes on to say, what, Yeah,
can we rewinde for one moment? You just run that back.

Speaker 1 (35:41):
That was just a bad answer or a bad read.
Yeah that was her. Okay, wait, I'm serious.

Speaker 2 (35:47):
He is the true game of life, unlike the dumb
eighties game. We're getting married and having kids define success.
That was only happening in the eighties. Yeah, the board
game the game of life.

Speaker 1 (35:58):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (35:59):
Then she As an entrepreneur and CEO, I have had
to learn how to separate business from emotion when making
big decisions.

Speaker 1 (36:08):
This is where it gets crazy. I think, I know
that gets crazy.

Speaker 2 (36:12):
In March of twenty twenty, I had to lay off
twenty eight of my thirty employees, who are also some
of my closest friends. But the company survived COVID and
is alive to this day because of my decisions, because
it had two people in it and.

Speaker 1 (36:26):
She hired them all back. No right, Okay.

Speaker 2 (36:29):
Then she goes on to say trust has no place
in Survivor. It is by nature a game of deceit.
And then Brandon, if you can get ready to play?

Speaker 1 (36:38):
This has a band? What trashy any what's the genre?
You'll hear it on.

Speaker 2 (36:46):
The corner by the city Limit sign a chi line
to move down on Hollywood and Vine bringing long haired body.

Speaker 1 (36:52):
Like the way it shines a little bit, but I
shake it just fine.

Speaker 2 (36:57):
Whoa, I believe it.

Speaker 1 (37:00):
It's more butt content for baking. Band of Wolves got at.

Speaker 2 (37:13):
The whole. I love it when my vocals are recorded
a warehouse, we can start phasing it out.

Speaker 1 (37:21):
I just wanted you guys to hear.

Speaker 2 (37:22):
She has a country rock band called Trashy an that
you know that it's not just a hobby she is.
She's signed to a record label and she she goes
on tours. It's a real band, Okay, And she wants
to make sure that you know that. Interesting.

Speaker 1 (37:44):
Did she say who she was signed to or is
this like I don't know crazy.

Speaker 2 (37:52):
Here's what.

Speaker 1 (37:54):
It's not gonna say about Trashy Annie the band.

Speaker 2 (37:57):
I listened to a bunch of the songs because I
was like, oh man, I got a find a bad
song so we can make a bunch of jokes. Honestly,
I kind of really enjoyed my ride over here listening
to all the songs.

Speaker 1 (38:06):
It really wasn't too you would have enjoyed that song.
It's pretty like it's not bad. Ye know it's bad.

Speaker 2 (38:12):
This is what I'm.

Speaker 3 (38:15):
And me and Jonathan are anti trashy Annie and laying off.

Speaker 1 (38:19):
However, many people you know, I don't support that, but
I do like Chase.

Speaker 2 (38:25):
Fire and all our friends and tell them get last
nineteen people, and I saved the job. Turns out two
people can do the work of thirty.

Speaker 1 (38:37):
And I'm just the ball. I have gone the extra
mile here for us. By the way, I'm looking.

Speaker 4 (38:43):
Up one thing in two seconds chat GPT no, no, no what.
I looked at her music and then I went down
and I found who the record label is. And now
I'm looking at Take forty four. It is at least
the distribution and I can't find a thing about them,
but they are.

Speaker 1 (39:01):
Saying take for maybe they all got laid off during COVID.
This is what I'll say about her. If she's a villain.
Villains are back, baby, the villains.

Speaker 5 (39:12):
Like, and that's deciding. There's been you know, some some
conversation that villain. They don't let villains cook like they
used to on Survivor. I mean this woman's diaballa. Yeah,
I love it.

Speaker 2 (39:21):
You listen to her song nuclear Meltdowns and it'll really
give you some more insight.

Speaker 1 (39:26):
What's it about her business? No, No, she's.

Speaker 2 (39:29):
Gonna survive, Jonathan.

Speaker 4 (39:32):
Yeah, I mean people survive nuclear meltdowns, but they just
run while everyone else is left behind.

Speaker 1 (39:37):
You know. Wow, she's gonna be like, let's lay off
Matt tonight. I mean vote out Matt.

Speaker 2 (39:40):
Yeah, Matt, you're fired.

Speaker 1 (39:44):
It's like we're putting him on temporary leave. The severance
package is great though. Oh only if you make it
so far though, Yeah, yeah, all right, next one, next one. Okay.
My mom doesn't even watched her Biber.

Speaker 8 (39:59):
She brought me a suitcase full of coconuts one day,
and she's like, well, if you're gonna eat coconuts out there, like,
you need to practice opening these.

Speaker 1 (40:08):
It's a smart mom. And this is a smart mom.

Speaker 2 (40:10):
That's Jason Schrull, who's thirty two from Anaheim, California, and
he is a law clerk. As previously mentioned, he was
one of the alternates that got pulled into this season
last second because of some behind the bathroom deals information
that we don't have much on aside from it happened,

(40:34):
and at the time of this interview, he was not
aware that he was actually going to be playing this season.
I wouldn't find out until the next day.

Speaker 1 (40:42):
Wow Ate.

Speaker 5 (40:45):
The first season that he watched was Survivor gabone because
of Kenny. Those that have seen the season know that
Kenny is known for two things.

Speaker 1 (40:57):
One what a heel Turned by Kenny? Two?

Speaker 2 (41:00):
Super Smash Brothers Champion.

Speaker 1 (41:04):
He slows the world.

Speaker 5 (41:05):
Playing Super Smash Brothers and that is Jason's game of choice.
Uh They also both He's from uh Sow, so is Kenny,
and they shared the same birthday.

Speaker 1 (41:19):
Whoa Kenny Part Two? Heel Turned from this guy? How
about that?

Speaker 2 (41:24):
Jason has what he calls little guy energy and is
just afraid all the time.

Speaker 1 (41:33):
I thought you were gonna go like Napoleon's He's just afraid.

Speaker 2 (41:40):
His hobbies are and I quote video games, Rollerblading, dance
dance Revolution, video games, acoustic guitar, Panda Express, video games.

Speaker 1 (41:51):
I love that dance dance Revolution is that's a sport.
He didn't want to say video games four times. Yes.

Speaker 5 (41:59):
One of the thing that I found interesting is his
pet peeve is people who are afraid to be wrong
or look silly.

Speaker 2 (42:07):
Own your mistakes. I believe that showing weakness is strength.
I like when people say that because I think that
level or that or at least being willing to be
that vulnerable can get you far in the game. It
can get people to trust you. But you also have
to know when to play those cards. And him being

(42:29):
he doesn't.

Speaker 5 (42:30):
He's afraid of everything, but he doesn't want people to
be afraid to speak their mind.

Speaker 2 (42:35):
And so I'm interested to see if this comes back
to bite.

Speaker 4 (42:38):
I feel like too, sometimes people who are like people
need to be more willing to own their mistakes are
the people who don't own their mistakes and want everyone
to say that they're right. Yeah, you know, you've got
to be a little bit careful with that, Like you
don't know how you won.

Speaker 1 (42:55):
That is not what I said.

Speaker 2 (42:56):
So I can just shut up and why why he
should win so soul survivor. He says, I'm just a
small little guy. People will underestimate me. You gotta stop
with the little guy, just a just a fellow.

Speaker 1 (43:14):
He gets to be strong, Joys, and I.

Speaker 2 (43:16):
Will even though I'm goofy and look full of weakness.

Speaker 1 (43:23):
I cannot do that. Jonathan just choked. If you put
your hands on me, brother, we would have been fighting. Yeah,
this table.

Speaker 2 (43:35):
I put this table together so it could fall quickly,
actually breakaway. Yeah, even though I'm goofy and full of weakness.

Speaker 1 (43:44):
By man, I was on his side there.

Speaker 2 (43:49):
For the One thing I know is I kick ass
at adapting, learning from my mistakes and rallying hard.

Speaker 1 (43:58):
If they keep me long enough, they can't stop me.

Speaker 2 (44:05):
Scared until the end when I take over because they
can no longer stop me. It's interesting because the final
three he is giving, he is giving big Kenny or
small Kenny energy. Yeah, like he sounds a lot like Kenny.
One of the things that helped Kenny a lot in
his season is that the season had no strategy aside

(44:31):
from Kenny, and the game has changed so much now
it's all strategy. And I don't know if little guy
energy is going to be able to scale the world
strategy if he's gonna be able to skate by just
being all strategy. You always wondered what it would be
like if a La Boo Boo plays. That was a
very reference. Thanks man, Thanks, La Boo Boo. I like

(44:55):
to stay. Can we call him a little boothoo, little
laboo boo boo, little boo boo. Yeah, little boo boo.
All right, next player, Next player.

Speaker 9 (45:04):
Two weeks ago, sitting my coach watching Survivor with a
cold beer in my hand, four feet of snowside minus
twenty and now I'm sitting in Fiji.

Speaker 1 (45:12):
Guess where he's from?

Speaker 3 (45:14):
Where?

Speaker 1 (45:14):
Canada?

Speaker 3 (45:15):
Oh, Alberta, Yeah so yeah, that was Jake Latimer.

Speaker 2 (45:21):
Jake has reminder this is Survivor North America, folks, not
Survivor America.

Speaker 3 (45:26):
That's right, Jake, He's from Canada. He was a pro
hockey player in Australia. Wasn't good enough to play in Canada,
had to go to Australia, but he got injured pretty quick,
met a girl in Australia, brought her back to Canada.
They got married, and then he became a correctional officer.
So here's the wild story part. If that wasn't wild enough,
I hate that guy.

Speaker 1 (45:46):
This guy sucks. This guy's a part of the incarceration.

Speaker 2 (45:49):
He works in a prison for people who were already
like institutionalized. And oh okay, yeah guy, she waits to
hear the details. Guys before you just hate Sorry, yeah, gosh,
comedy about hard fast opinions. Right away, I'll get into
why I always works. I hate him for different reasons.
We'll get there. But here's the wild story part. Jake's

(46:11):
dad has glaucoma. He's projected to lose his eyesight around
the end of this year, and this is the only
chance his dad will ever get to see him play Survivor.
Oh my god, yeah that no, don't do which you
look you call me a villain, call me a villain.

Speaker 1 (46:31):
But it's like, does his dad even like Survivor?

Speaker 2 (46:35):
That is true, We don't mean it feels like it's
Survivor's actually super sweet.

Speaker 1 (46:42):
Then yeah, go back to Dan Bill Jonathan.

Speaker 2 (46:46):
So all right, so I said that was the wild part.
Here's the actually wild part. Uh.

Speaker 3 (46:51):
And this is just insane, Like I couldn't believe this
when I saw it. He so he wants to go
on Survivor so his dad can see him play. But
here's the thing. Jake and his wife have been trying
to have a baby for four years. She finally does
get and it turns out that the do date is
while he will.

Speaker 2 (47:08):
Be I'm going to say it, you'd have to you'd
have to back out of Survivor.

Speaker 3 (47:14):
She told him to do it, and she said that
the family will be waiting for him.

Speaker 1 (47:22):
She doesn't mean it's like she was like, fine, go
and I was like, I got the old. This also
isn't the reason why I hate him. It's a different reason.

Speaker 4 (47:30):
The thing is, it's crazy that his dad is going
to get to see him on Survivor and get to
see him be a deadbeat dad.

Speaker 2 (47:36):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (47:37):
Wait, hold on, if he wins the million, I think
it's he's got to win brother girlfriend. I just don't
think it worked. If he wins the million. This is
different than than David.

Speaker 2 (47:51):
This is different, Like I don't like is it?

Speaker 1 (47:55):
I want to get it?

Speaker 3 (47:56):
I don't want to get Yeah, this guy is not David.
I mean he's a little David, like for reasons they'll
but this part is not David.

Speaker 2 (48:02):
Like I don't want to get into the economy. But
a million dollars just doesn't go as far as it
used to.

Speaker 1 (48:11):
I mean, like, you make millions, but we make.

Speaker 5 (48:13):
Millions every episode and we're still just barely making it.

Speaker 1 (48:17):
We're still small girls.

Speaker 5 (48:19):
Like that baby's not going to see that money. That
baby is not going to see her their dad.

Speaker 1 (48:26):
But that baby's not going to remember that day anyway.

Speaker 2 (48:28):
Brand, baby's not.

Speaker 1 (48:29):
Going to know that the dad wasn't there.

Speaker 2 (48:33):
Everybody in there.

Speaker 4 (48:36):
I think brand and I will agree that after seeing
children born for the first time right like it is
here Brands, Like, I wasn't.

Speaker 5 (48:48):
Podcasting, Yeah, I was watching a homemark Christmas well first
there was a premiere that night.

Speaker 4 (48:54):
If Kristen looked at me and said it's fine, go
away for days and days and days, I I feel like,
I know, like there's still no way I should do this.
And to miss your first child's birth child years of trying,
wildest event.

Speaker 3 (49:13):
Child when Daddy Probes comes calling, Yeah, you got it.

Speaker 1 (49:19):
That's the conversation though, was like, I mean, if you
feel like you need that's what I'm.

Speaker 3 (49:28):
Okay. I keep saying hate is a strong word. These
people will probably listen to this show. So I want
to say I don't actually hate anybody.

Speaker 1 (49:37):
Right, let's because we might have some new fan. Let's
do our little bit claimer.

Speaker 2 (49:40):
Yeah, hey, guys, we treat them not as real people,
but as characters on a TV show. We have become
really good friends with people that we have done giant
rants about from previous seasons. This is entertainment. We're making jokes,
but also pretty wild that you left it okay, So
let's get things can be true.

Speaker 3 (50:00):
He says he loves Sam from forty seven and Joe
from forty eight.

Speaker 2 (50:04):
Sam and Joe baby.

Speaker 1 (50:05):
So the next thing bothered me.

Speaker 3 (50:07):
Maybe not as much as what Joe said about d
but it's like a close second. Mister Jake said that
Sam should have won forty seven.

Speaker 1 (50:15):
WHOA, that's just the wrong one. He's wrong because he
played the game with honor. Did he say this with
a glass of milk in his hand? Guys?

Speaker 2 (50:29):
I'm starting to think that the reason that Riz and
the other guy brought to forty nine is because everyone
else is so unlikable. I didn't know the first.

Speaker 3 (50:38):
Villain and then this is amazing. Brace yourselves for this.

Speaker 2 (50:44):
The wording on his answer here, Mike, Mike Bloom asked him,
what's your favorite moment in Survivor history? And he said,
Joe and Eva there when she had her autistic little episode.
Word for word crazy right here, I'm not making it
up with this again. He has always seen two seasons
of Survivors. If what's your favorite moment of Survivor history

(51:06):
the one that just happened.

Speaker 3 (51:07):
To Yeah, so Joe and Eva there when she had
her autistic little episode. Could we find a different way
to say that? But he said when he went to
confront her, I was crying on the couch.

Speaker 1 (51:16):
Of course.

Speaker 3 (51:16):
I mean that's an emotional thing, and the audience, people
in America, people in Canada, that's what brings them back
to watching the next episode.

Speaker 1 (51:22):
Right.

Speaker 3 (51:23):
I'm not saying I'm going to be crying holding everyone,
but that's the exact man.

Speaker 2 (51:26):
I hope to be one. We know one he's gonna
be like, hey, you got autism.

Speaker 1 (51:30):
Well we know that he won't be crying holding his
firstborn either.

Speaker 3 (51:35):
So he wants to play an extremely loyal game, and
that is Jake Latimer.

Speaker 2 (51:38):
He'll walk on the beach and be like real quick
chow of hands, and who is autistic?

Speaker 1 (51:42):
I want to.

Speaker 2 (51:45):
Have an autistic little episode.

Speaker 1 (51:46):
I don't help you out. He's like, everyone on the
beach make eye contact with me.

Speaker 3 (51:50):
Yeah, and I think we we called it an episode.
That's what Eva calls it her episodes. But when you
say little.

Speaker 2 (51:57):
Little episode, the name of that episode is actually to
a little episode.

Speaker 1 (52:02):
So he even has a.

Speaker 2 (52:04):
Little problem, you know, a little guy with an autistical
little episode and Sam show best players ever.

Speaker 1 (52:12):
All right, let's just move on.

Speaker 5 (52:14):
You know how many people as I was reading, talk
about how Rachel is their favorite player of all time.

Speaker 2 (52:20):
This guy's on the wrong side of.

Speaker 1 (52:23):
A lot of new era Rachel rules. Okay, are you ready? Yeah, okay.
My husband is very supportive of me being out here.
He was like, do what you need to do.

Speaker 7 (52:32):
But he told me, do not come back without the money.

Speaker 1 (52:38):
I'll not come back. I love I do love that
the music's left at the end. It's my favorite part. Like, okay,
we got We've got. Christina Mills.

Speaker 4 (52:49):
She is thirty six years old and from Houston, Texas, Houston,
but relocated to Edmund, Oklahoma.

Speaker 1 (52:58):
Moved.

Speaker 4 (52:58):
She's moved, just letting y'all know when they move. Her
address is not so her occupation. Guys, do you know
what an NBA career coach is, guys, Do any of
y'all actually know what that is?

Speaker 10 (53:09):
Is?

Speaker 1 (53:09):
Like the NBA but with an M. Yeah, yeah, the
National Monster Mash so good. Yeah.

Speaker 4 (53:18):
Okay, So she is an MBA career coach. So what
this job is is that she helps business students enroll
for what they need and usually a coach will follow
along their career paths, helping them find their strengths and
what they're good at and finding the right field for
them to work in. So I do love that she

(53:38):
helps people kind of like find the things that they're
good at because she studied them. She's studying people and
she's watching them carefully in the war room with the
Johnny Walker.

Speaker 2 (53:47):
Yeah, but I think that that may give her an
advantage of reading people and finding the things or the
personality traits that would you know, make them either good
opponents or bad opponents.

Speaker 4 (54:00):
Sure, because this is part of her job. It's a
high paying job too, guys, if you can get in
that field. This is a money making podcast anyway.

Speaker 7 (54:09):
So.

Speaker 1 (54:11):
She has a little bit of media buzz.

Speaker 2 (54:14):
Part of the show's lineup is I've like completely typed
the craziest sentence here in my notes, Guys, I don't
even know what I'm saying.

Speaker 1 (54:25):
No, no, no, Yeah, for real, dude, I just read
my sentence. It was like, man, I was half asleep
type of this.

Speaker 4 (54:31):
But her her kind of thing that a lot of
people the buzz is about her is that they think
she will be a guru type person that plots and
finds the underlying things about people or different alliances.

Speaker 2 (54:44):
They think she's very smart and very tech, but she
doesn't call herself a guru. I don't think she.

Speaker 4 (54:50):
I don't like it when people I don't remember her
saying that, but the buzz online is that she so
them the buzz.

Speaker 1 (54:59):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (55:00):
So again, what I think you can kind of watch
for with her is that she is good at finding
people's strength and weaknesses. She's also with her job, going
to be good at motivating people potentially.

Speaker 2 (55:11):
And she seems like a very uh, very sweet person
like a very nice personality.

Speaker 3 (55:16):
So and she has to stay in Fiji unless she
comes home with the money.

Speaker 2 (55:19):
Yeah, I mean that's there's a part of her husband
being like, don't come home unless you got the money,
which could be a real problem for her.

Speaker 3 (55:26):
So maybe she'll be on fifty, but she's like, I'm
not playing. I'm just hanging out because I'm.

Speaker 1 (55:29):
Not allowed to leave. I never wanted a million, so
my husband said, don't come home.

Speaker 3 (55:34):
She's sitting out of every all I remember from her
intro video, She's like, I am a liberal and everywhere
around me is red. So I'm used to dealing with
people who don't agree with me, and so maybe that'll
help her.

Speaker 1 (55:48):
Yeah, yeah, it's good.

Speaker 2 (55:49):
Season of fifty is just Jeff being like Christina is
sitting out again, not supposed to be hear.

Speaker 1 (55:56):
Yeah, she's not supposed to hear. But it's like the
one kid that can get picked up from cars line after.

Speaker 10 (56:03):
All.

Speaker 1 (56:03):
Right, next, Okay, my.

Speaker 10 (56:06):
Spirit animal are pana bears.

Speaker 2 (56:08):
They're big and they're fluffy, but they have really sharp
teeth and claws and you would never expect that. Jeremiah Ing,
which I think that's such a fun last name because
it makes your first name an action verb. Dude, Jeremiah, Jeremiah.

Speaker 1 (56:28):
We're gonna say that a lot. Feel like it's a
very millennial thing to say to Jeremiah.

Speaker 3 (56:34):
Yeah, gotta have my coffee before, Jeremiah.

Speaker 1 (56:41):
I'm gonna kill you. It hurts a large boy.

Speaker 2 (56:51):
Jeremiah was asked who do you think you will play
most like? Uh huh, and they said, I think I'll
play most like Yam Yam.

Speaker 1 (57:00):
He laughter and positivity to the game.

Speaker 2 (57:04):
And Jeremiah's whole thing is that the very outspoken, very
bubbly personality gonna be everyone's best friend.

Speaker 1 (57:11):
I think that's a great strategy and modern day survivor.

Speaker 2 (57:14):
And when asked why do you think you will be
the sole survivor, Jeremiah said, because I'm a karate kid
and no one will ever see me coming.

Speaker 1 (57:25):
He's a panda Bear's panda. Yeah, let's hope it's not
like the reboot with Jane.

Speaker 2 (57:32):
You know, we moved to China.

Speaker 1 (57:42):
But really, not much to say about Jeremiah.

Speaker 2 (57:43):
I think Jeremiah is gonna be one of these players
like Yam Yam, where so likable, so much fun, gonna
best friends with everybody.

Speaker 1 (57:50):
They're gonna go far in the game. But will they win.

Speaker 2 (57:53):
I don't know, you know, there's no fun, trashy, any
fun facts about Jeremiah.

Speaker 1 (57:59):
You don't think Fu Panda has what it takes.

Speaker 2 (58:01):
I mean, I think Kung Fu Panda can be the
Dragon Warrior, but I don't know if the Kung Fu
panda can be the sole survivor.

Speaker 1 (58:10):
Interesting.

Speaker 5 (58:10):
Now, this is an interesting development here, and I don't
know if this is worth anything.

Speaker 1 (58:15):
Did he go to jail two?

Speaker 2 (58:16):
Like?

Speaker 1 (58:18):
This's actually just uh? No? He like Mitch loves rocking
the khaki shorts. Oh, I don't know, but something to
keep an eye on. Jeremiah was a mailman. No, I'm joking.

Speaker 2 (58:34):
Was got.

Speaker 1 (58:39):
Dog? No, that's three Dog night Boom Music. How about that?

Speaker 2 (58:45):
I don't think I would have remembered that was. Who
that was? Chase bad Music? WHOA?

Speaker 1 (58:50):
Did you look it up last night because you were
singing that song?

Speaker 2 (58:53):
I actually it's one of the three songs on rotation
that I played.

Speaker 1 (58:57):
Jeremiah was a bull frog. Bah was a good friend
of mine.

Speaker 2 (59:05):
I never understood a single word he said, but he
always had some mighty fine wine.

Speaker 1 (59:12):
I'm blown away right now because that's not a kid
rock song. No, I mean that is an easy uh
parody song. Though this season, I'm gonna do it. I'm
gonna do it. I'm gonna do it. I hope he
doesn't go home Week one.

Speaker 4 (59:25):
I almost, gentlemen, I almost brought a guitar and did
a parody song with it in person.

Speaker 2 (59:30):
But then I thought it'd be hard to sneak a
whole guitar into this studio because.

Speaker 1 (59:35):
The parody could go one ad ass. Oh man, Let's
keep pushing, guys, Let's keep pushing. All right, here's next.

Speaker 10 (59:48):
I know that I probably come across as someone who
doesn't like the outdoors, who doesn't like to get dirty.
But honestly, for a million bucks, I've done a hell
of a lot worse for a hell of a lot less.

Speaker 1 (59:59):
What does she mean?

Speaker 2 (01:00:00):
Who can we don't know?

Speaker 5 (01:00:01):
That's Savannah Louis, who's thirty one, who also you're gonna
love this, Jonathan.

Speaker 2 (01:00:08):
She's moved no originally from California now at Landa.

Speaker 1 (01:00:14):
Oh. I love it when there's a move. You love
a good move.

Speaker 7 (01:00:18):
Uh.

Speaker 2 (01:00:18):
Savannah is a former reporter, and I gotta be honest
with you, guys.

Speaker 1 (01:00:23):
Savannah is giving me villain v okay?

Speaker 2 (01:00:30):
Is she the one who comes back.

Speaker 1 (01:00:34):
Come back for fifty I don't know.

Speaker 2 (01:00:35):
I look at her, I think, Savannah, that could be
maybe maybe that's why, like you have to bring the
winner back with Riscott.

Speaker 1 (01:00:42):
You bring the God's the winner?

Speaker 2 (01:00:45):
What do you mean?

Speaker 5 (01:00:46):
That's what I'm saying, you bring with riz Gott I
worded it in a really weird way, and you got
maybe it's going to be a divisive runner up situation
with Ris got where they thinybe he should.

Speaker 1 (01:00:57):
Have But this is right right out of there.

Speaker 5 (01:01:00):
She said that one thing that she wants to do
is try to add as much stress to the game
as possible, even for members of her own alliance, like
constantly sowing seeds of doubt, taking jackets in the middle
of the night and quote unquote misplacing them.

Speaker 3 (01:01:19):
WHOA She's not asking her like like Angelina was, Yeah, yeah.

Speaker 2 (01:01:23):
This is the person who's coming back for interesting WHOA
she could be the winner.

Speaker 5 (01:01:28):
She also like like, you know how sometimes you just
want that drama, Like she could that drama.

Speaker 1 (01:01:33):
She could be that that that villain.

Speaker 5 (01:01:36):
She also believes that her history as a reporter has
taught her how to get people to trust her quote
A huge part of my job was getting people to
trust me with some of their most intimate details of
their lives and then killing.

Speaker 2 (01:01:49):
Them that last part. She left journalism after ten years
and now likes to solo travel while working as a
marketing specialist for her parents' companies, so she clearly needs
the money for an alliance partner. She wants someone whose
straints make up for her weaknesses and vice versa, not
trying to make friends, but trying to find a partner

(01:02:11):
who will help her go far by filling in her gaps.

Speaker 1 (01:02:14):
Risk God, risk God. Together. That's good. That's good.

Speaker 5 (01:02:20):
And then the reason why she thinks she's gonna win
it all is I'm an under the radar physical threat
with a social game that will get me to the end.
I'm hoping that others underestimate me while considering me someone
that they trust, only to realize that I'm a force
to be reckoned with.

Speaker 4 (01:02:37):
Everybody says I'm an under the radar player.

Speaker 1 (01:02:40):
And every player is like, I think I'm gonna win
because people like me. I think I thought everyone was
on Survivor. I'd be like, guys, I'm an over the radar.

Speaker 2 (01:02:47):
The radar doesn't know what to do with the radar scrambler.
You can't even read the radar when I walk. There's
so much of me on the radar. They think the
radar's broke dard thing. I'm such a big threat, They're
going to keep me around so that is that's Savanna.
Moving on.

Speaker 1 (01:03:07):
Now, moving on.

Speaker 7 (01:03:09):
There's like a lot of straight people here, So I
think like adjusting to like being around a man with
a six pack is a lot for me today.

Speaker 3 (01:03:22):
Straight up, I might draft Nicole first. Nicole Missoula. Nicole
is gay. She doesn't have abs, like she said in
that interest. Sure, I'm a big fan of Nicole because
after the honor and integrity stuff with Jake. This is
the headline of Nicole's interview with Mike Bloom Meet the
I don't have to read the meet.

Speaker 2 (01:03:40):
The cast part, would you meet the Survivor forty nine casts?
Nicole Miszula refuses to vote for anyone that Nicole Miszulo refuses.

Speaker 3 (01:03:49):
To vote for anyone to win with an honest game exclusively.

Speaker 1 (01:03:53):
Whoa wow, whoa, whoa.

Speaker 2 (01:03:55):
This is going to be the best season. Yeah, she
would be good. Yes, is actively going after.

Speaker 1 (01:04:01):
People because she just saw forty eight two and you
found an annoying scena in the face.

Speaker 2 (01:04:07):
Dang. Yeah, So she really won me over Cole and
Savannah Line.

Speaker 1 (01:04:11):
Oh imagine that. And what about the trashy Annie.

Speaker 4 (01:04:15):
Amazing, they're just firing everyone and they're just people off
left and right, yeah, this is going to be an
insane season.

Speaker 3 (01:04:20):
So she really won me over with the hating honesty.
And she also won me over because her favorite winner
is Jam Jam and when you pay respect or Yam yam,
I always pronounce it the opposite of what I wrote,
and I wrote Yam yam.

Speaker 2 (01:04:32):
Okay, so uhs because it's usually.

Speaker 3 (01:04:40):
I'm just explaining why I keep saying it wrong in
my copycat.

Speaker 1 (01:04:43):
The listeners shut up.

Speaker 3 (01:04:45):
Her favorite winner is Yam yam, and when you pay
respect to the Yam, you've got my support. She she
said she'd like to think she shares some similar characteristics.
He's very jovial, he can connect with people like second
nature and make people feel very comfortable. And she said,
I'd like to think that I'm able to cultivate that
kind of environment and uh and yeah, Yam was the
king of that and Queen I love him.

Speaker 2 (01:05:07):
Wow.

Speaker 1 (01:05:07):
Oh man.

Speaker 2 (01:05:08):
We got a comment recently that said they called us
one of the radio DJs that it was on the
fake Riley so that whatever stuff like this happens, I'm like,
oh God.

Speaker 1 (01:05:20):
Was fake.

Speaker 2 (01:05:21):
Well that's what the people were saying.

Speaker 5 (01:05:23):
They can I ask you guys this, why is it
not first nature. I don't know, Like, let's just think
about that real quick.

Speaker 4 (01:05:35):
I think first nature is are like the natural things
a person does, and second nature is like personality.

Speaker 1 (01:05:43):
No, that's not how it's used at all.

Speaker 2 (01:05:45):
Second nature is but first like first nature would be
you have to eat to survive, right, second nature would
be like, oh it's I don't have to think about being.

Speaker 1 (01:05:55):
Nice to Italy. I looked it up in Jonathan's unreson correct.

Speaker 2 (01:05:59):
I'm telling nature is your innate biological traits or instincts.

Speaker 1 (01:06:03):
I love how you looked it up as if I
wasn't say it with one hundred.

Speaker 2 (01:06:06):
Percent when I explained it further, what you said you
want to be radio DJ I, Well, thank you for listening.

Speaker 3 (01:06:14):
We're going to continue this discussion on the NPR. So
Nicole is. Nicole is a financial crimes consultant and she
investigates fraud and money laundering.

Speaker 1 (01:06:22):
So let's.

Speaker 2 (01:06:24):
Invite her to our show.

Speaker 1 (01:06:26):
Used to work at a bank. Look at you, Richard Hash.

Speaker 3 (01:06:29):
We don't want to sniffing around the bramble jam finances stuff.

Speaker 4 (01:06:34):
Just like Matt and I have an airport connection, I
do feel like that Nicole and I now have a
connection to Jas.

Speaker 5 (01:06:40):
And I are fighting over who's buying pizza for the
tax right.

Speaker 2 (01:06:46):
Pull it from the making the merge, and I was like,
that's the whole show.

Speaker 1 (01:06:51):
That's a good point. So that's a good point. I think.
I think y'all are going to enjoy this.

Speaker 3 (01:06:56):
About Nicole, she described herself as the love child of
Boston Robb and she Ambo.

Speaker 2 (01:07:00):
Whoao Tambo reference in the Year of Our Lord twenty
twenty five.

Speaker 3 (01:07:05):
And she followed that up with I'd love to read
that fan fic.

Speaker 1 (01:07:08):
Oh, yeah, this is gonna be our Mary. Yeah, this
might be.

Speaker 3 (01:07:11):
She's another player that you know as I When I
was researching them, they said that their love of The
Survivor it got like increased by doing a draft.

Speaker 1 (01:07:20):
I think Sophie was.

Speaker 2 (01:07:21):
The same way.

Speaker 3 (01:07:21):
Sophie did a draft and got really into it.

Speaker 1 (01:07:23):
Choice Sophie's yep.

Speaker 3 (01:07:28):
So when asked about her favorite moments from Survivor, she
cited Operation Italy. Remember that, Remember Operation Remember when we
had false hope about Andy and Genevieve.

Speaker 4 (01:07:38):
Yeah, we we felt pretty good about it. Operation Why
do people act like that?

Speaker 1 (01:07:42):
Was such a good movie. It was fun.

Speaker 2 (01:07:44):
The editing fun, The editing it was a great editing
Italian food operations in Italy. I'm sorry you don't like
a good heist. Yeah, it was just a bad play.

Speaker 3 (01:07:57):
One of the highest rated IMDb Survivor episode so z ever, right, Pa,
I'm just making that up. So Nicole said a lot
of stuff to win me over, but I'll close with
this one. She was asked about being a Big Brother fan,
and she said, Julie Tin Moonvez, where are you?

Speaker 1 (01:08:10):
Bat? Oh? There you go?

Speaker 2 (01:08:12):
She said the full name, said the full name. Put
some respect on that. Can I forget who she's married to?

Speaker 1 (01:08:18):
Less?

Speaker 2 (01:08:18):
Moonvez never did anything wrong.

Speaker 3 (01:08:21):
We love CBS, We appreciate it.

Speaker 2 (01:08:25):
All hails up next, Yep. I actually learned how to
swim because I knew if one day I'd got on Survivor,
I didn't want to be the black guy who couldn't swim.

Speaker 1 (01:08:37):
The amount of people who have.

Speaker 5 (01:08:40):
I was shaking my head until he said the black
guy thing, and then I was like, well that doesn't
relate to me. But I do think about that with
the show. Not the black person I can't swim, is
what I'm getting at. But I think I think about
how if I go on Survivor, I should probably learn.

Speaker 2 (01:09:00):
Uh Patreon exclusive, we teach brand to swim. Yeah, hey, Brand,
I got you, just like, do this really? Really it's
actually the more exhausted you are, the easier it is.

Speaker 1 (01:09:12):
If you get all your energy out kind of hump
in the water.

Speaker 2 (01:09:15):
No, no, that's what you do on.

Speaker 1 (01:09:17):
An exercise exercise bike. Yeah, god, I was doing exercise.

Speaker 2 (01:09:22):
Hey.

Speaker 4 (01:09:22):
By the way, Nate Moore, yeah, he is from Clovis, California.

Speaker 1 (01:09:28):
And get this, what do you think happened?

Speaker 2 (01:09:31):
He moved?

Speaker 4 (01:09:33):
He moved, guys, he moved to Amosa Beach, California. So yeah,
I mean move here. Here's the thing is that Nate
is forty seven. And yeah, you know I've been saying
the internet's been buzzing. They're really buzzing about this guy
because he is a Marvel movie producer. From what I

(01:09:54):
was able to gather, they didn't really lead with that, right, like, oh,
Nate's a Marvel movie producer. Led with it in the
parade articles. Yea quickly, Mike Bloom, So yeah, he's he
is a Marvel movie producer.

Speaker 2 (01:10:08):
Before we give him any praise, which one here here's
so he produced the Eternals.

Speaker 1 (01:10:15):
I would he produced Captain America, Brave New World. These
are legit wait, no way for real? Yes for yeah.

Speaker 4 (01:10:27):
So he's got two real loser kind of movies right now,
box of yours this.

Speaker 1 (01:10:34):
However, he did not do Thunderbolts. But he didn't.

Speaker 4 (01:10:38):
That's an America Winter Soldier, which he did Black.

Speaker 1 (01:10:43):
Panther another stellar one.

Speaker 4 (01:10:44):
Yeah, he did the second Black Panther, which was also
pretty like I thought it was good. He's also, from
what I was reading, doing the third Black Panther movie
as well. So this is like, yeah, I did hear
this what Denzel is supposed to be.

Speaker 2 (01:11:02):
Hey, I random the rest of my I'm sorry, guys,
but I ran into Denzel Washington in the Nashville Airport.

Speaker 1 (01:11:09):
That's crazy, I forget. It was very h it was
very random.

Speaker 4 (01:11:14):
I was standing in the terminal just waiting, and I
see him walking and I wait, this is real. My
first thought is, dang, that guy looks a lot like Denzel.
And as he walks past me, we we lock eye contact.
He keeps going and and he goes that Jonathan making
no but he walks past me and I kind of

(01:11:36):
like track follow him, you know, like second look.

Speaker 1 (01:11:40):
And as I'm looking at him.

Speaker 4 (01:11:41):
He turns back around and looks me right in the
face and goes, it's me.

Speaker 2 (01:11:48):
Serious.

Speaker 1 (01:11:49):
Yeah, I'm so serious.

Speaker 2 (01:11:51):
He looked at me and said he said it's me
and just kept going. And I was like, Denzel, You're
my hero.

Speaker 1 (01:11:57):
Is the coolest. I was blown away.

Speaker 4 (01:12:00):
But he actually took the second to actually do that
and confirm it for me because he could tell it
looked like.

Speaker 5 (01:12:07):
Great has I'm actually seen the footage. The guy looked
nothing like.

Speaker 2 (01:12:12):
He's just dad's sneaking a drink because he's about to
go pilot a flight.

Speaker 1 (01:12:18):
Shut out. I've seen a couple of movies, you know. No,
he wasn't. He was. He was with a big guy,
and that was the other tip off.

Speaker 4 (01:12:26):
I was like, hey, wait a second, but uh yeah,
so uh anyway Black Panther movies.

Speaker 1 (01:12:31):
That is pretty crazy.

Speaker 2 (01:12:32):
Is he our Mike White or or Mike Black if
you will? Brother? Oh good, I thought of it during
You're good.

Speaker 1 (01:12:46):
You weren't listening to this story, dude, You're just like
a good reason.

Speaker 4 (01:12:51):
Now here's where I think Nate the Great if you will,
very typical dad name there for us. But Nate, you know,
as a producer, knows how to shape a narrative, right,
you know, he knows how to he knows how to
spin a web and really create something, and he knows
a lot about moving pieces James Web and getting them
all together Dark Web.

Speaker 1 (01:13:11):
Yeah, and Madam Web.

Speaker 2 (01:13:15):
Derek Webb.

Speaker 1 (01:13:17):
Hey, maybe I don't know. Okay, we should chicked it.

Speaker 2 (01:13:20):
We should get this guy on the show and then
just ask him about the at it was like doing uh,
Captain America Brave New War.

Speaker 1 (01:13:30):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (01:13:30):
So anyway, that's that's kind of his his own thing.
He is going to be crafting his own survivor's story arc.
So that's awesome.

Speaker 1 (01:13:38):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (01:13:38):
I actually think he seems really cool, and I think
that being a movie producer and I think it's kind
of an interesting advantage and it's a different kind of
role that we have not seen play before. You know,
we've had lawyers and doctors and nurses a.

Speaker 2 (01:13:56):
Million times, never had they more the more. Did he
say whether or not he's going to try to keep
it a secret?

Speaker 7 (01:14:05):
Uh?

Speaker 4 (01:14:06):
That I don't remember. I don't think he said that.
He did not Again, I would my theory would be
that he would keep it a secret because it would
hilarious if he.

Speaker 2 (01:14:21):
Was like he like brought someone's out of a secret. Yeah,
I produced Captain America, bravenew World.

Speaker 4 (01:14:29):
He might look at them and be like, I didn't
want to tell you all this, but I produced the
Eternals And they're like, I got him a break.

Speaker 1 (01:14:34):
I didn't he go through enough. I mean, Mike White
tried to keep it a secret that he did School
of Rock.

Speaker 2 (01:14:40):
Like that's not even the same, Like, hold on, School
of Rock is a way better movie. I'm not saying
it's not.

Speaker 5 (01:14:46):
I'm saying you hear that somebody is producing Marvel movies
and you immediately go that guy's freaking.

Speaker 2 (01:14:52):
Rolls a corporate guy. It's a corporate guy.

Speaker 1 (01:14:55):
Yeah.

Speaker 5 (01:14:56):
You see Mike White and he did a School of
Rock and you're like, okay.

Speaker 4 (01:14:59):
Account ofation is totally different. And it's I think though
that again a producer. A producer is a really unique
job to be playing survivor because he's also gonna know
kind of the inner workings of what's happening with.

Speaker 2 (01:15:14):
He's going to be calling the camera guys like, hey,
get better shot, alright, let's keep going.

Speaker 1 (01:15:19):
All right, Okay, I have a beautiful girlfriend.

Speaker 2 (01:15:23):
She's the one that encouraged me to stop talking about
applying every time.

Speaker 1 (01:15:26):
Jeff is there, like, just apply.

Speaker 9 (01:15:28):
I'd be like, I could win this game.

Speaker 2 (01:15:29):
I could play this game.

Speaker 1 (01:15:30):
She's like, then do it?

Speaker 2 (01:15:35):
He guysys like Michael Jackson, this guy Stephen Ram with
two ms, this guy, this guy is a character. Uh
really into space Carson two point zero?

Speaker 1 (01:15:49):
Would you guys like to hear?

Speaker 2 (01:15:51):
Oh? Is he the NASA guy from the headline of
the parade article?

Speaker 1 (01:15:55):
I think so cool? Wow. I don't know why I
said I think so Yes, I think so might be
one of the other astronauts enthusiasts. Did you chat GPT? No? No,
I mean I have this.

Speaker 2 (01:16:06):
Guys blamed me for chat GPT on the broadcast. Is
just to kind of be like affable and like agree
with whatever everybody says.

Speaker 1 (01:16:14):
This third nature meta AI.

Speaker 2 (01:16:17):
I had my meta sunglasses on it. I said, hey, Meta,
who is Stephen Ram with two ends? And she said,
this guy like space. They asked him why do you
want to be a part of Survivor And he took
that personally because he went on to go Discovery as
a aspiring lunar landowner. I am an explorable heart like

(01:16:39):
a space mission. Survivor is a journey into the unknown,
but instead of highly trained astronauts, there are eighteen rascals
conspiring to jettingsen each other out of the airlock. To me,
that sounds like the adventure of a lifetime and the
ultimate test of character. I look forward to discovering the
edges of my comfort zone and blasting right through them.

Speaker 1 (01:16:59):
This is very William Shatner. Does he actually sound that
annoying or is that just you?

Speaker 2 (01:17:04):
No?

Speaker 1 (01:17:04):
Well, I mean I am doing a little bit of
a character. But that's what I mean.

Speaker 2 (01:17:07):
You heard him.

Speaker 1 (01:17:07):
That's kind of what it sounds like.

Speaker 5 (01:17:09):
It's a shame that he has no idea how much
of a dick he looks like. He's an aspiring lunar
owner lunar Lando.

Speaker 1 (01:17:17):
Yeah, wait, what does he mean by that?

Speaker 3 (01:17:18):
He's gonna like buy a star, get a little certificate?

Speaker 2 (01:17:21):
Well, lunar Land, I can clarify this. They then asked,
what is something we would never know from looking at you?
He said, when I'm not working on technologies to pioneer
the frontiers like that, he's hustling as a musician.

Speaker 1 (01:17:39):
Are you kidding me? Does he live in Nashville?

Speaker 2 (01:17:45):
I actually don't know where he lives. I didn't think
that was important. I only look for interesting things where there.

Speaker 1 (01:17:50):
Was you moved.

Speaker 2 (01:17:51):
I don't know, I don't care. He wants to own
property on Mars. That's his big thing is he needs
to move to Mars.

Speaker 1 (01:18:01):
So he's delusional. Wouldn't Lunar the movie? Well why would
you say?

Speaker 2 (01:18:08):
It? Would be like when I'm not working on technologies
to pioneer the frontiers of the moon in Mars, but
he wants me a lunar land owner on Mars.

Speaker 1 (01:18:17):
I have no idea what he's saying.

Speaker 2 (01:18:19):
Maybe he wants to own property on the movie, but
that just doesn't feel as realistic.

Speaker 3 (01:18:22):
No, and Mars, like your best shot is a dude
who's on Kenemine all the time, And I don't think
that's gonna go that Well.

Speaker 1 (01:18:27):
Yeah, yeah, this dude, big character. I hope he's so
much fun. I love this cast so much. Yeah, they
seem cool. Let's just keep pushing.

Speaker 9 (01:18:38):
When I told my office that was coming, I was like,
they're gonna make me quit right now on the spot.
My boss could not be more excited. She said, you're
gonna go, You're gonna win. And she's obsessed with my
dating life. She said you're gonna find a wife too.

Speaker 1 (01:18:53):
Red Flag.

Speaker 5 (01:18:54):
Uh, guys, if you think that that's the only time
he's going to talk about like finding, you're so like
it's every Yeah.

Speaker 2 (01:19:04):
What's crazy?

Speaker 1 (01:19:05):
He already has a girlfriend.

Speaker 2 (01:19:08):
Alex Moore is twenty seven originally from Illinois, now lives
in Washington, d C. Because yes, he is a political
calms director. He wants to make it to the Survivor
Auction more than anything in the world. You might be
wondering yourself, why is it the food? No, it is

(01:19:28):
because he wants to prove the margarita curse is wrong.

Speaker 1 (01:19:34):
It's not real. What's the margarita curse?

Speaker 2 (01:19:37):
You might be wondering.

Speaker 1 (01:19:38):
I was too. It's never been wrong. I'm well aware.

Speaker 2 (01:19:41):
Apparently anybody who purchases the margarita at the auction gets
voted out that very night.

Speaker 1 (01:19:50):
Is it's happened too many times to be a coin?
Four times straight?

Speaker 2 (01:19:55):
Do you think it's're just getting drunk and and saying
really off hand It could be.

Speaker 1 (01:19:58):
It could be all the too.

Speaker 2 (01:20:01):
Uh. He talks about how much he loves margarita's, how
he loves going out after a hard a hard day's work.

Speaker 1 (01:20:07):
Salt sugar at all. Blood goes right to.

Speaker 2 (01:20:12):
Like that he's just auction and Jeff goes next item
a margarita, and someone goes salt or sugar rim and
they go sugar you there.

Speaker 1 (01:20:23):
No, my guy at Alex.

Speaker 2 (01:20:25):
Will go five hundred dollars all of it all in.

Speaker 1 (01:20:27):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (01:20:29):
He started a survivor club at his high school with
teachers and students.

Speaker 5 (01:20:35):
Where they would get together and talk about the game.
They wrote a letter to Jeff asking for an invite
to the finale of Heroes Versus Villains. The answer no,
I hope he brings it up at the marooning Jeff
before we get started.

Speaker 1 (01:20:53):
Like you mean, this letter out.

Speaker 2 (01:20:59):
Like a fake.

Speaker 1 (01:20:59):
I don't think nothing on it. I've been peeing on
this every morning. Uh.

Speaker 2 (01:21:08):
He currently works in d C and Communications believes that's
going to help him in Fiji, knowing you know, like
what's worth fighting for, what's worth shutting up about? You
got to learn all of that when you're working in
d C in the swamp, so, uh, you know that
might come into play. He believes that he'll make it
far as the glue guy and I quote, I mean, hey,

(01:21:30):
glue me up. Okay, what that's how you do it.
I mean, hey, gloom me up. But that's what I'm
gonna be for my tribe.

Speaker 5 (01:21:45):
I want people literally sticking to me from all different types.

Speaker 3 (01:21:50):
He really needs guys.

Speaker 5 (01:21:54):
He's a comms director, trust him. His biggest weakness is
that he's a softy. People have taken advantage of his
empathy before.

Speaker 1 (01:22:02):
Quote.

Speaker 2 (01:22:03):
If there's a cute girl basically being like Alex, we
should vote this way. I need to get her out
soon because she's gonna be able to convince me. I
will do it nine. That's right.

Speaker 1 (01:22:15):
I will vote her out so fast. Unless she tells
me not to cut. She's got to go because she'll
be able to control me. That's right.

Speaker 2 (01:22:23):
Girl tells me a you gotta give me that idol,
I'm giving you gotta go.

Speaker 1 (01:22:30):
That's right.

Speaker 2 (01:22:30):
And that's Alex Moore.

Speaker 1 (01:22:31):
From d A little man who knows his weaknesses.

Speaker 9 (01:22:36):
Up next, I'm sorry, I'm sweating so much. This is
day zero and I smell horrible.

Speaker 2 (01:22:45):
Juwan pits his pits were sweating, Oh god.

Speaker 1 (01:22:50):
Jan twenty eight. He's a video editor.

Speaker 3 (01:22:52):
He worked on the storyboard for Transformers in twenty twenty one.
Maybe not as impressed as mister Nate Moore, but good
transformers maybe.

Speaker 1 (01:23:01):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (01:23:01):
So he got on the caste Oh yeah, I guess
I haven't seen this.

Speaker 1 (01:23:08):
I don't know. I'm just agreeing with brand. I'm disagreeing
with you. Actually, fine.

Speaker 3 (01:23:13):
So he got on the cast by going to one
of the casting calls after applying for six years and
getting nothing. And he credited the man, the myth, the legend,
Mike Bloom for helping him get on the show.

Speaker 1 (01:23:25):
Wow.

Speaker 2 (01:23:26):
How so he said he watched the previous six years
of Mike's interviews Wow, wow, preparations for like how he
asked the questions and how everybody responded, so he would
know what to do with the casting call, you.

Speaker 1 (01:23:37):
Know, like Mike Bloom doesn't do the casting he knows
that right, No.

Speaker 3 (01:23:42):
But he just got He gave a direct line to
every player every season.

Speaker 1 (01:23:45):
So yes, he's a pretty good person to listen to.

Speaker 5 (01:23:47):
Mike, you know better at like Segways and Mike Bloom
and he follows us.

Speaker 2 (01:23:53):
I found that out yesterday, Mike Bloom. We got to
get Mike on the show. Mike Bloom, Let's do the
next no to try powerful. Mike's are way better than
that chase. You step your game.

Speaker 3 (01:24:05):
So he said that his superpower is definitely his weakness. Also,
it's his vulnerability.

Speaker 2 (01:24:10):
I love chopping it up talking about what makes us
the way that we are, our childhood and past experiences.
My superpower is I think I'm gonna make friends really easily,
like everybody else has said, I think I'm gonna be
able to make really dope bonds. But on the flip
side of that, by being an open book and making
those bonds, am I going to be willing to cut
them when I need to?

Speaker 3 (01:24:29):
That's my biggest struggle. I'm like, oh, I'm going to
backstab do this. But at the end of the day,
I really care about people too. So if there's a
way that I can put people to sleep in a
nice way that sounds so bad, that sounds so bad,
laughs and brackets, I gotta do it in a way
he laughing, brag. That's a good question, Johnathen. I got
to do it in a way where I can sleep

(01:24:50):
at night. And he told Mike that he had been
thinking about Mike a lot during Ponderosa.

Speaker 2 (01:24:58):
Could say that he's.

Speaker 3 (01:25:02):
Relationship with Mike, and he did say that sounds crazy,
but Mike said, I'm flattered, and he said, no, I
have a cheat sheet for you, and I wrote everybody's
initials down because I'm a nerd. I put all these
superheroes so top of the list. I want to work
with Punisher.

Speaker 1 (01:25:15):
So that's j L.

Speaker 3 (01:25:16):
That's the tattoo guy. I'm pretty sure he's going to
be on everybody's radar.

Speaker 1 (01:25:19):
And is he talking. He's the most chatty cat here.

Speaker 3 (01:25:23):
He's always trying to make it.

Speaker 1 (01:25:28):
Okay.

Speaker 3 (01:25:28):
So I want to work with that dude. Mc main
character she is Gomorra from Guardians of the Galaxy. She's
braids like Mishown from Walking Dead. She's badass and I've
been sitting next to her for the past three days.

Speaker 1 (01:25:40):
He's gonna lose his mind when he finds out. Yeah, seriously.

Speaker 3 (01:25:44):
And I'm like an extrovert. I'm not trying to hug her,
but I'm like, hey, she's like nothing. I'm like, oh,
she's locked in. But I don't know what he's talking about.
This you're not supposed to talk. That's the whole is
going vibes looking at him. But he said I said hey,
and she didn't say anything. Yeah, I think like he said,
but I'm like hey, and she's like nothing.

Speaker 2 (01:26:05):
Like the metaphorical Hey, like he's rick and she's shown
before they got together.

Speaker 5 (01:26:13):
Sounds like he was trying to make behind the bathroom
deals and no one's with Mike Bloom.

Speaker 1 (01:26:17):
He's trying to I mean, who betwixt us? What betwixt hey?

Speaker 3 (01:26:24):
Mike, We're gonna have him on the show, hopefully to
judge our drafts.

Speaker 2 (01:26:28):
That's the idea. That's report cards. And then because I've
been thinking about him a lot. Yeah, I think about
him Ponderosa all the time. I got a list for
him to actually so. He said he thinks the m
C is just really focused. She's someone that he's a
little worried about. She's low key his winter pick. And
that's a survivor nerd talking, yeah, winter pick and other.

Speaker 1 (01:26:49):
Than me, I would rank her high on the draft board.
Other than me.

Speaker 2 (01:26:52):
He's talking about winter picks and draft boards and Mike Bloom.
This guy is a certified survivor dork.

Speaker 1 (01:26:57):
Yeah, we're gonna have him take Jonathan spot on the shows.
How I get it.

Speaker 3 (01:27:01):
I get One other thing that he said was he's
not into journeys, so he's not gonna let my team name.

Speaker 1 (01:27:07):
It is because these people. He's always stopping his beliefs.

Speaker 3 (01:27:11):
These people watched Bianca and Thomas get voted out. They
got killed by Cedric because of the journeys, So they're
very anti journey this group.

Speaker 1 (01:27:19):
Dang, dude, don't know. And that's what I've got on
Juwan not Steve Perry. Fans jump right in. Here's the next.

Speaker 2 (01:27:26):
One of the ways I think people would consider me
wacky is the fact that I collect pimples in a jar,
very specifically black kids.

Speaker 1 (01:27:34):
Let's just skip this one. The video that's disgusted. It's
pretty bad. What's the grossest thing you guys ever collected
that jar? Nothing? I don't think I've ever put in anything.

Speaker 2 (01:27:47):
My grandpa had a parasite that came out of his
nose is like pretty big from when he went to China.

Speaker 1 (01:27:52):
I think that's crazy. Dang, I don't think I've collected anything.

Speaker 4 (01:27:55):
So the grossest thing I've ever collected would be, like, though,
like a bug or something.

Speaker 1 (01:28:01):
Put in a jar.

Speaker 2 (01:28:03):
I have an answer, and that parasite was James from
Survivor China, right, ladies, went home with two idols.

Speaker 1 (01:28:09):
In his pocket.

Speaker 5 (01:28:11):
My mine is a prank that I did on my
brother where for years, whenever I cut my toenails, I'd
put him in a root beer bottle that he.

Speaker 1 (01:28:23):
One day kids without what happened when that one day
came up?

Speaker 3 (01:28:29):
Though, I mean, we're losing respect for Sage Brown.

Speaker 1 (01:28:33):
I'm talking about Say hey, I'm gonna let it known
right now.

Speaker 2 (01:28:36):
Stage better be the last draft pick. Okay, Sage is
thirty years old.

Speaker 1 (01:28:42):
Guys.

Speaker 4 (01:28:43):
She is from Roxboro, North Carolina. Okay, Roxboro, If y'all
aren't aware, it is about thirty five minutes from where
I am.

Speaker 1 (01:28:50):
Oh, do you know her?

Speaker 4 (01:28:51):
Yeah, she's a really good friend of mine. Actually, wow,
we collect pimples together. No, Actually, it does kind of
make me feel embarrassed that this is the person who
lived the closest to me, and that what we have
for it is that she collected black hats the first Thankfully. Thankfully,
she moved across the whole country to Olympia, Washington, so

(01:29:13):
there was a move involved.

Speaker 1 (01:29:14):
And she is a clinical social worker.

Speaker 4 (01:29:18):
I don't know what it is about this, but I'm
I'm something feels off about the whole pimple collecting and
being a clinical professional. You know, maybe you only let's
get rid of her I just yeah. So she describes
herself as intentional, curious, and wacky. Some might say gross,

(01:29:39):
and that she did not say gross, but I'm saying it.
She joined the military and she went through some trauma,
but she also embraces the fact that she is, like
Nerdi virgent, was the trauma before or during the military,
it seems she's saying like during the military, right, And
so she plans on leaning into the social work ment

(01:30:00):
whole game.

Speaker 1 (01:30:00):
Okay, all right, and also.

Speaker 4 (01:30:03):
Kind of a multifaceted thing there. I think my military
experience might give you some tactical ideas.

Speaker 2 (01:30:10):
You know, who's gonna love it if she has a
little autistic episode.

Speaker 1 (01:30:13):
Huh oh. We'll just have to wait and see, won't we.

Speaker 4 (01:30:18):
So yeah, she identifies with mary Anne, saying that she's
a player that's underestimated for being upbeat and wants to
bring wants to bring the long game, wants to.

Speaker 1 (01:30:31):
Play the long game. Have you seen Marianne season?

Speaker 2 (01:30:34):
No?

Speaker 3 (01:30:35):
But I looked her up and she was very like, yeah,
you know, I remember, I think she's the smartest person
I've ever heard talk about the game. When she went
on Rob has a podcast, she did like two hours
with season.

Speaker 1 (01:30:45):
Was she two is forty two? Okay, so I haven't
seen her. So the Making the Merge podcast.

Speaker 4 (01:30:55):
Entertainment Weekly, or as you know as professionals called the
e W and there meet the cast thing. They stated
that she was one of the most emotional, honest, quirky,
and multi dimensional players in the game right now. Oh
so in the game right now, and saying she has

(01:31:17):
a self aware strategy that is getting her nods online.

Speaker 1 (01:31:21):
So very is there buzz though there's some nods. I
don't know that we're talking buzz yet, we're just talking nods.

Speaker 2 (01:31:31):
Yeah, yeah, next two more un.

Speaker 10 (01:31:35):
Like this hippie spiritual love, the energy of the moon, love,
the energy of the Earth. I'm also a virgo, if
that means anything to anyone's lunar land.

Speaker 3 (01:31:47):
But I think Mary is a big astrology person. So
is Stephanie Berger.

Speaker 2 (01:31:52):
And and this is Shannon Fairweather. Yeah, this is Shannon's
astrology strong name. Yeah, Shannon Fairweather. I think her entire
personality can be summed up. When they asked her the
question can you give us three words to describe you?
And she said, free, passionate, I make things happen, faithful, spunky, confident,

(01:32:13):
in love with life. Huh, so she's on adderall. I
just thought that was so funny. How said they write
as one word. I thought this was very funny. Her
pet peeve in life is that when she has pet peeves,
she's working on loving herself and not being so negative
and not having pet peeves. However, snoring negativity, being able

(01:32:38):
to hear muffle TV even trying to sleep. Wow, what
is something we would never know from looking at Shannon
that this is something she brings up a lot in
all of her press.

Speaker 1 (01:32:51):
Her family owns a four floor sports bar in Boston
that Boston.

Speaker 2 (01:32:57):
Rob worked at.

Speaker 1 (01:32:59):
There been some recent developments. Oh no, I didn't didn't
see recent developments. Survivors Prison team up to make it
a Survivor bar. Really, I didn't know what was her
bar though.

Speaker 3 (01:33:10):
We got to go to Boston and we go to
the bar, and then we go to Luigi's to get
some pizza.

Speaker 2 (01:33:15):
Pizza, And when I'm going even if I missed the
birth of my kid, yeah, specially I'm playing Survivor the bar,
playing the bar. I'm going to the bar, going to
the bar, trivia. This is where it gets a little
bit less fun. When she was seventeen doctors found cancer
in her bladder, but she did not have to do
chemo and then, uh, she used to be on antidepressants

(01:33:40):
before she found her love for travel, meditation and God.

Speaker 1 (01:33:43):
But she didn't have to do chemo. She just raw
dogged it.

Speaker 2 (01:33:45):
Yeah, she raged and then also cured her depression without Uh,
she got to quit being anti We did the Steve
Jobs thing.

Speaker 1 (01:33:53):
But like it worked for her, I guess.

Speaker 2 (01:33:54):
So I think maybe the cancer wasn't as aggressive like
other treatments work.

Speaker 1 (01:33:59):
I don't know. I don't know anyway, I'm sure it
was very hard. Expirit did not be a dick about it.
He remembers being in the womb. She remembers remember being
in the womb. No, and you can't tell her she doesn't.
She doesn't. She doesn't.

Speaker 2 (01:34:18):
If you ask her who her biggest inspiration is, she says, God, Universe,
the Great Spirit, Mother, Nature, and the divine and then
she just proceeds to go, hey, magic is real. Whoa,
But That's what I'm talking about.

Speaker 1 (01:34:34):
She's such a.

Speaker 2 (01:34:35):
Kind of junksta position of a person because she constantly
brings up magic is real. But then she also really
wants you to know that her family owns a four
floor sports boy. She puts a lot of emphasis on
the four floors.

Speaker 1 (01:34:46):
That was really good. Slet of hands again, do it?
Let let everybody else it. Wow, that actually was super cool.
I'm not being irn. That was actually really sick. Whoa, whoa.
As a magician, I actually am magician. I mean, I
know it was only your podcast, but he made a
card disappear and then it came back out of this
thin air. It's pretty sick. How'd you do it?

Speaker 2 (01:35:09):
Because magic is real, Joan remembers being in the womb.
We're gonna take it magic back of your hand while
you do it.

Speaker 1 (01:35:15):
Yeah, actually, really good. It's really good to put it
up on Instagram. I'll show you right now. Chase back
in the hand.

Speaker 2 (01:35:21):
You ready.

Speaker 1 (01:35:22):
You know I know how you do it because I
also love matchic. We talked about this. Yeah, what I'll
do instead of watching football? Do works? Yeah? Practice, I'm
too busy getting paid from YouTube. Next up, Sorry, he's
still doing magic. That's actually he's really good. Good all right,
last one.

Speaker 7 (01:35:43):
The first thing I want to do is have a
dominating alliance.

Speaker 2 (01:35:46):
And I'm going to start by picking the biggest guy
the biggest girl in my group and having them be
in my meat shield.

Speaker 5 (01:35:54):
So I do just want to say really quickly, I
always knew that I had Sophie Ballardy. I did not
research the other Sophie and then scramble right before this
to get the correct information about this Sophie.

Speaker 2 (01:36:08):
She's twenty seven. She is uh from lives and is
born in Miami.

Speaker 1 (01:36:16):
Never moved. We have a never mover, never never moover,
never mover.

Speaker 2 (01:36:21):
Uh. She is a strategy associate business owner whatever the
heck that means. Survivor. Helped her grandma learn to speak
English that they would watch together.

Speaker 1 (01:36:33):
She only say like four phrases.

Speaker 2 (01:36:35):
It tribe.

Speaker 1 (01:36:40):
She's serving dinner and she's like the tribe is spoken. Yeah,
I'm an under the radar player and like what hair?

Speaker 2 (01:36:48):
What hair?

Speaker 1 (01:36:48):
Did she watch? Because she might say some slurs.

Speaker 2 (01:36:53):
All the time.

Speaker 1 (01:36:54):
My grandmother is her favorite player. She's spoken how it was.

Speaker 2 (01:36:59):
She it?

Speaker 1 (01:37:00):
Well, I somehow got up, sorry.

Speaker 10 (01:37:05):
You what?

Speaker 2 (01:37:08):
I actually went this Instagram page, my.

Speaker 1 (01:37:16):
Great extradagy.

Speaker 2 (01:37:18):
Just what I was trying to say that was accidentally
scrolled to the top of the page. But that's either
here or there. Her grandma passed away five years ago.

Speaker 1 (01:37:32):
Why don't you want to? I don't have like.

Speaker 3 (01:37:40):
Uh.

Speaker 1 (01:37:41):
So she's playing for her grandma. No player inspires her.
She wants to.

Speaker 2 (01:37:47):
Play her own game. She's not trying to model it
after anybody. She's going to do her own thing, her
pet peeve. And this was new to me.

Speaker 1 (01:37:55):
I wasn't familiar with this term. Men with Peter Pan syndrome.
They want they don't want to grow up.

Speaker 2 (01:38:04):
Yeah, she says, get off the dating apps and stop
terrorizing my beautiful single friends.

Speaker 1 (01:38:11):
Oh my gosh.

Speaker 5 (01:38:13):
And then she believes that she's going to be soul
survivor because I can split emotion from the game. I'm
not coming into this, uh experience with any muscles, any athletic.

Speaker 1 (01:38:24):
Background, et cetera.

Speaker 2 (01:38:25):
But I do know how to talk.

Speaker 1 (01:38:29):
That's something that not everybody has. She knows how to talk.

Speaker 3 (01:38:32):
I have a feeling the final three people in this
randomly selected order are going to be the last three
draft picks.

Speaker 1 (01:38:39):
You think so potentially? Maybe?

Speaker 2 (01:38:41):
Yeah?

Speaker 1 (01:38:42):
Who do you?

Speaker 2 (01:38:42):
I kind of I'm intrigued by Shannon, I am I'm
not in a good way.

Speaker 1 (01:38:47):
Okay, who do you guys think is gonna be the
first one gone? Oh? Yeah, we've done everybody now that's
in people.

Speaker 4 (01:38:55):
I think it's gonna be the physical threat that we
talked about. Michelle Yeah, yeah, I feel I feel like.

Speaker 1 (01:39:08):
I played with integrity.

Speaker 2 (01:39:10):
Jake Latimer, Yeah, David too. I hope that one of
the villains makes it ill. I mean, this is a
phenomenal cash. It seems like it's going to be a
good one. The season kicks off next Wednesday, next Wednesday,
and then we'll be our episodes will come out soon thereafter.

Speaker 1 (01:39:29):
Ye, So come on back for that. Jonathan, you got
anything else for the People? Before? You know something that
you're in person, we can't cut you off.

Speaker 2 (01:39:37):
I mean you'll be able to cut me off on
the next You're about to hear some ads that helped
keep the lights on here in the old studio. Thanks
for listening or don't listen. It's really up to you.
At this point is at the end of the show.

Cardiac Cowboys

Cardiac Cowboys

The heart was always off-limits to surgeons. Cutting into it spelled instant death for the patient. That is, until a ragtag group of doctors scattered across the Midwest and Texas decided to throw out the rule book. Working in makeshift laboratories and home garages, using medical devices made from scavenged machine parts and beer tubes, these men and women invented the field of open heart surgery. Odds are, someone you know is alive because of them. So why has history left them behind? Presented by Chris Pine, CARDIAC COWBOYS tells the gripping true story behind the birth of heart surgery, and the young, Greatest Generation doctors who made it happen. For years, they competed and feuded, racing to be the first, the best, and the most prolific. Some appeared on the cover of Time Magazine, operated on kings and advised presidents. Others ended up disgraced, penniless, and convicted of felonies. Together, they ignited a revolution in medicine, and changed the world.
