Speaker 1 (00:01):
The time machine, the time machine, the time machine, by
the time machine. That time machine, that time machine. Get
on to the surb.
Speaker 2 (00:32):
We should probably cut all that. Let's start over.
Speaker 3 (00:38):
All right, guys, Welcome to Survivor time Machine. We've been
in the studio for a little bit now. We've been
getting revved.
Speaker 2 (00:45):
In a while, No, be a while already. It's nice
not talking to PD through a screen. It's very nice. Yeah,
p D gives off an energy in person that just
hypes you.
Speaker 4 (00:56):
The problem is, ever since we talked to Saul, I
can't stop thinking about what you do on the bike back.
Speaker 2 (01:03):
There alleged, Yeah about it. I think about it every time. Yeah, okay.
Speaker 5 (01:09):
In one of the weirder moments in my Survivor podcasting journey,
he accuse me of humping on my bike. I don't
know if I was humping somebody or if I'm just
humping the bike. I don't know what kind of humping.
Speaker 2 (01:22):
Is taking regardless, I'm interested.
Speaker 4 (01:24):
Yeah, hey better, you're an adult bike.
Speaker 3 (01:28):
I mean, how old are you now? Seventeen eighteen? Yeah,
getting there, getting there, getting up there. Man, No, I
just used the bike for exercise. Actually, that is all
I do with it.
Speaker 5 (01:36):
Welcome to Survivor Time Machine.
Speaker 2 (01:38):
Yeah, guys, cook a couple of times Survivor time Machine.
Speaker 3 (01:44):
We just do a podcast where we just talk, oh,
and now talk about Survivors.
Speaker 2 (01:48):
We should do a podcast where we.
Speaker 3 (01:50):
Talk, guys, Survivor. Cook Islands is heating up. We said
that last week.
Speaker 4 (01:57):
If on the first episode we get Jonathan back, we
don't talk about Survivor and but we don't tell him
that ahead of time, So the whole time he's like
looking at his watch.
Speaker 2 (02:06):
He would probably my brain. Yeah, he'd probably be like, dude,
this is this is great. He'd probably be like, guys,
this is the perfect time to bring up Skillet. I'm
just I've been listening to a lot of Skillet. I am.
I'm pretty excited about his video on Skill. I'll be
honest with you. Bend sucks.
Speaker 5 (02:19):
Yeah, but we got I want to do a new
theme song, which is Survivor of Time Machine. Juke can
climb a tree.
Speaker 2 (02:26):
That's Penners works.
Speaker 3 (02:30):
Wh let's just jump right in.
Speaker 4 (02:34):
Yeah, big big episode, not as big as next week's
assuming would watched it.
Speaker 2 (02:40):
I'm still a big one.
Speaker 3 (02:42):
Yeah, guys, don't worry the welcome over.
Speaker 2 (02:48):
What do you think about Riley, Jeffries and Catherine.
Speaker 3 (02:51):
That's my god doing to our listeners who've been rocking
with us in the off season, even though it's been
unhinged at times. Yes, hey, you should probably just leave. Okay,
just get out of here. Don't listen to this show.
What are you doing? That'stuff.
Speaker 2 (03:07):
I'm just joking, all right, guys, you have real gold
chain energy right now. Brother, I just put one on.
Speaker 3 (03:12):
Y'all can't see yeah, Jonathan Fields silver Sterling still silver?
Speaker 2 (03:20):
Alright, We're gonna Survivor time Machine. So they were talking
episode nine, Is that right you guys?
Speaker 5 (03:29):
So we got Kenner, you know, calling himself the wandering
Jew without a tribe, and then tell us about what
happens next Chase, because it's your favorite thing in the world, right,
or at least your favorite thing to bring up?
Speaker 2 (03:40):
What are you talking about? Adam and and I just
want to talk a little bit.
Speaker 3 (03:44):
I think it's very interesting that right off the bat
in episode ten, when we see Pinner, he immediately goes,
I regret jumping. He is like, I regret betraying my heul,
and that is going to be.
Speaker 2 (03:57):
Major foreshadowing for what happens in this season.
Speaker 4 (04:00):
Yeah, but yeah, and then we cut to my favor
my favorite.
Speaker 5 (04:05):
You keep bringing it up every time, you're like, whoa
Candace kiss another man?
Speaker 3 (04:11):
Just I just think that it's funny. It's because these
are TV characters to me, you know what I'm saying.
And when I watched Survivor the first time, the season
that stuck out the most of Candace is this blood
versus water that she does with her husband, and that's
like a major part of that season is the family element.
So it's just funny to me to watch her kissing
someone on TV when I obviously she didn't know she
(04:32):
was gonna get married to someone else in the future.
Speaker 4 (04:35):
This was one of those like big, big, big flirt
time where it's like they like, I think he kissed
her hand first, yeah, and then he's like, she was like,
what about my lip? And he like didn't fully engage
with this, and then she just leaned over and kiss him.
Speaker 2 (04:53):
Did you guys pick up on them?
Speaker 1 (04:54):
Yeah?
Speaker 2 (04:54):
Yeah, I bet Chase picked up. Oh yeah, well, I
mean I like that we're making fun of me.
Speaker 3 (04:58):
Brand was the one that was figuring out their psychology.
Speaker 2 (05:01):
Yeah, let's talk about it and write it down in
my notes because it was all off that you just
when it comes on, you're like, I'm gonna bump past this.
I can't do it the way those people in the past. Yeah.
Speaker 3 (05:14):
No, you're not allowed to date people before you get married.
That's what I've said and I will continue to say it.
Speaker 2 (05:19):
What do you think about Jeff Brows?
Speaker 3 (05:21):
I think that you should have married that girl that
was on the season with him.
Speaker 2 (05:25):
Wow, that's what I think. Wow, CBS is going to
cut our funding. CBS can suck. I think that brings
us to the challenge. Yeah.
Speaker 3 (05:38):
I don't mean to call you out publicly in front
of everybody. Your lack of notes and preparation. Oh really,
you have some.
Speaker 5 (05:45):
Like riveting, like amazing takes on what happened before the challenge.
Speaker 2 (05:50):
No, I jump right ahead to the child. I want
to bring up pedia.
Speaker 4 (05:54):
And I have is the Jew comments and yeah, because
that's what happens, all right.
Speaker 3 (05:58):
And you know what's really bad is when I was
watching these episodes, I was like, Ah, they'll take they'll
lead the way.
Speaker 2 (06:04):
I'll just write down some jokes. So thanks, guys.
Speaker 5 (06:08):
We talked about the two things that happened, and I
don't know what you want Yeah, we crushed it.
Speaker 2 (06:13):
I want some in depth analysis, guys. On the Kissing
we are known as.
Speaker 6 (06:17):
The Survivor podcast that breaks down the gameplay second by second,
moment by moment. We are talking about levels of gameplay
that have not been seen in Cook Islands since nineteen
twenty four.
Speaker 2 (06:30):
Did anyone else google Pinner to make sure he's Jewish? Yes? Yeah,
I believed him. Okay, I didn't have any reason to
know he was lying about it. Google Pinner a lot
because he was in the Nanny.
Speaker 3 (06:44):
He's a He's done some pretty cool stuff back in
the day, and then you know he's a survivor legend.
Speaker 2 (06:49):
Is he pretty wild?
Speaker 5 (06:50):
The cars off the Wandering Jew and then not be
a jew man twenty twenty.
Speaker 3 (06:55):
I watched this through the lens of twenty twenty five. Yeah,
you're throwing that kind of stuff around me.
Speaker 2 (07:00):
I just say, I just I don't want to take
anybody's word for it.
Speaker 3 (07:03):
You know, that's smart, that's smart. I want to call
them out for it and ruin they're live.
Speaker 2 (07:07):
That would be ideal. Yeah, we'll get some clicks, like clicks,
some views.
Speaker 3 (07:13):
All right, it's the reward challenge. Let me ask you, guys, this.
Do you wish that we did more reward and immunity
challenges than modern Day Survivor instead of just the one challenge?
Speaker 5 (07:23):
Yeah, because you have to do the right up for
those and it's less work for me.
Speaker 2 (07:29):
That has another do it. I think I've talked about
this before.
Speaker 4 (07:31):
If we're going to commit to doing an hour and
a half every day, you've got to have two challenges.
Like the episodes where they have two challenges it feels
like we are just ziping, were having a great time.
And the ones where it's one just immunity challenge and
it's just a lot of like Mitch's Mailman stories, Like
I'm like.
Speaker 3 (07:50):
Like you said something last season that is stuck in
my brain, which is old era Survivor used to fit
in two challenges in forty four minutes exactly, and man,
you nailed it, Okay.
Speaker 5 (08:01):
Is the reward it's because we go from like wandering
jew comment kissing, and then challenge. It's like they get
two seconds each, yeah, and then we but with the
new era, every.
Speaker 2 (08:11):
Scenes like five to ten minutes.
Speaker 3 (08:13):
Yeah, and there's well they maybe you can do both now,
like you have enough, you have enough time to give
us all of the meat and potatoes you want as
far as the gameplay and the relationships, and also give.
Speaker 2 (08:26):
Us two challenges and the potatoes. But there's only so many.
There's only so many obstacle courses. They only do obstacle
courses now, there's only so many obstacle course. I do,
I do wish it wasn't all obstacle courses. Guys.
Speaker 3 (08:38):
This reward challenge, you have two tribe members with a
compass that will run out to a giant compass where
they will dig in the sand for a chest. Once
you have all four chests, you will get out the
flag puzzle pieces and the first tribe to spell the
word victory with the flags when.
Speaker 2 (08:54):
Reward it's a travel reward, remember those? Yes? Uh so? Yeah.
Speaker 3 (09:00):
The way that the challenge kind of works, this was
a very strange challenge to me. I don't remember this one,
and they've never done anything like this again. Jeff's like
yelling out coordinates like north northeast and then they have
to use the compass to like find the right spot
to dig in and get the chest out.
Speaker 2 (09:15):
I too takes the challenge.
Speaker 3 (09:17):
Sucked, Yeah, no, it wasn't great, ye I two takes
the lead Chris challenge a week now. They were like, man,
coming up, We can't come up just just yelling coordinates.
I two takes the lead quickly. Obviously, raire Row is
frustrated with Pinner. Not a good spot for Pinner to
be in, considering he's at the bottom of the tribe.
Speaker 2 (09:38):
He's been so bad since, I think because it.
Speaker 3 (09:41):
Threw him off of his his strategy.
Speaker 2 (09:45):
Adam and Candace get confused.
Speaker 3 (09:46):
At one point while I two is running circles around
them during the challenge, Candace goes, oh God, I'm gonna
go to exile. I thought that was hilarious. I two
wins by a my because Railroad sucks.
Speaker 7 (10:01):
Because they have Ozzy and I will say I will guys,
I will say Ozzy finally winning a challenge on the
sand and not in the water was big.
Speaker 2 (10:11):
It was really exciting, amazing, really good work. I two wins.
They get to send someone exile island.
Speaker 3 (10:19):
They send Candace again as punishment for betraying their tribe. Yep,
and we get some dialogue from Candace.
Speaker 2 (10:27):
We actually go to exile. Pretty crazy.
Speaker 3 (10:30):
You were really leaning into, like how hard she's having
it out there.
Speaker 2 (10:33):
What was she eating?
Speaker 3 (10:35):
What was that some sort of eel like she had
to like push some of it and then she.
Speaker 2 (10:40):
Was just like cucumbers, cucumber. Yeah, and she was just
like gnawing on it. It was really weird. I did
not like it was the gourt of the ocean.
Speaker 4 (10:50):
Yeah, it was, so you don't eat the gogurt, you
just eat the plastic and that's basically what like she
pushed a bunch of stuff out into a bucket and
it was just like she says a line of dialogue here,
it sucks that people that like you. No, it sucks
that people that you like wants to see you suffer.
Speaker 5 (11:12):
Girl, you betrayed them. Yeah, she did the mutiny. She
doesn't get to be upset.
Speaker 2 (11:18):
And if you ask Ozzie, mutineers are the first to.
Speaker 4 (11:20):
Die, that's exactly right, that's exactly I just but like
the woe is me.
Speaker 2 (11:25):
I I don't like it.
Speaker 3 (11:27):
Come on, get it's not that hard to be out
there strained on an island by yourself.
Speaker 5 (11:31):
But then I two gets the warriors welcome for locals.
Speaker 2 (11:36):
That was awesome.
Speaker 4 (11:37):
Yeah, theil these rewards are always interesting where they go
into like a village because it's just I don't know,
it's really you never know what type of rewards you're
gonna get, right, and so I feel like everybody on
Survivor historically has done a really good job of when
they get this type of reward, they're like they they're
(11:58):
really excited. In the back of my mind, I'd be like,
I just wanted like a spa day, you know, like
do you think, like do you think that ever happened?
And they cut it out because they don't want to
offend the PA.
Speaker 2 (12:09):
Shane Powers is just stealing signarettes, you got to he
was all about that.
Speaker 4 (12:19):
There is obviously it's really cool to go and experience
different cultures, but like I think when you're maybe this
is just the way I would think through it. Maybe
I would would be different if I was playing the game,
but every reward challenge I would be thinking about like
the luxurious things that they get sometimes and then to
go like obviously they get to eat food and that's wonderful,
(12:41):
but I.
Speaker 2 (12:42):
Think I'd be a little disappointed. Does that may be
a bad person?
Speaker 5 (12:45):
I think it makes you a bad person because you
can go to a spa any day. In America. You
can you could go to one every day of the week.
If you want, you'll never have a warriors welcome.
Speaker 2 (12:56):
That's true. No, you're right. I have a question. Do
you think that the local are paid by CBS to
do I've wondered this for all of the food.
Speaker 3 (13:04):
And also because I when I was younger watching this
for the first time, I was more naive.
Speaker 2 (13:09):
I just assumed.
Speaker 3 (13:10):
I think that, oh, Cook Islands, this is how they live,
like that's just how it is all the time. But
it's like, no, they're like some of them are probably accountants,
you know what I mean, Like they don't do this
warriors welcome all the time. It's like a ceremonial thing.
So I'm just curious, like what is the production behind that,
Like do they go to the local mayor and be like, hey,
(13:33):
can you gather some people together for the you know,
like how does that look?
Speaker 5 (13:36):
That's all right, We're sending Chase to Cook to go
meet with the local mayor and figure.
Speaker 2 (13:40):
Out how all of this works. Chase is gonna walk
on to the beach and came all the.
Speaker 5 (13:49):
Way here, get nothing, and then he finally gets it
and they'll be like, are you actually an accountant? Do
you just see this warrior thing? Part from the spreadsheets,
show me a buck? Uh, Yule gets freaky with two
ladies in the rain?
Speaker 2 (14:04):
Did you guys catch that? I caught it, but I
didn't catch him getting freaky. I don't know.
Speaker 3 (14:09):
He was having a good time. He's having a good
time that that you'll as he should because he's gonna
win the whole season. I mean, hey, who's.
Speaker 2 (14:16):
To say.
Speaker 3 (14:21):
It'd be really funny if you were so confident and
then like he goes home next week?
Speaker 2 (14:27):
Yeah, yeah, yeah, get back from the challenge.
Speaker 5 (14:32):
After that, pinner was he was catching fish because you
know he's he's wandering around. He doesn't have any allies.
He's like, maybe if I do an assie and I
get a ton of fish, then everybody has to keep me.
Speaker 2 (14:45):
You know. It's a classicis ten eleven? Really close? Though?
Speaker 3 (14:49):
Really close? That was good that I would have asked
you brand, what would you have twenty two?
Speaker 2 (14:53):
Really? I felt like he said the twenties for something.
Speaker 5 (14:58):
But that's like classic, Like I don't feel good about
a spot and survivor, so it's time to get a
bunch of food and make everyone know how useful do.
Speaker 4 (15:04):
You either have to be the guy that had been
doing That's from the beginning, or like you can't start
doing it because it looks real like you.
Speaker 2 (15:12):
Everyone sees that and it's like, oh he's the right
is on the wall for him.
Speaker 4 (15:15):
Right, But like Rupert did it, like first day, got
his thing, went out there, did did what he needed.
Speaker 2 (15:22):
Was it still is? Amen? Amen Rupert? For fifty yude,
way's the cast already out? D damn dude made it?
What if I didn't know? And I just campaign if
you did the fifty mock draft of us? Yeah? What?
Speaker 5 (15:42):
And I think that takes us into everybody.
Speaker 3 (15:46):
Is It's the immunity challenge, guys. It's another water challenge.
So guess who wins. One at a time, they will
swim out to a pontoon. They have to dive down
and unclip a bunch of island names. Once everyone is back,
you have to identify the ten islands correctly at the
answer table by matching the islands with the island names
(16:09):
you just collected. The first tribe to answer correctly wins,
and the losing tribe will take a bottle with them
to tribal council and the twist will be revealed after
they eliminate someone. You run into the water and Ozzie
gets an early lead like with this is every week
and it is the to like Ozzie's credit, like it
is his strongest suit. Is like they were up basically
(16:30):
two bottles before they even got their first bottle back,
Like he gives you such a head start with the water.
I two wins before rai Row even gets to their
answer table.
Speaker 2 (16:42):
Yeah, I like it because I want Railroad to lose. Right.
Speaker 5 (16:45):
Anytime you watch this, whether it's the first time, the
second time, or the third time, you're still actively rooting
for rare Row.
Speaker 2 (16:51):
To lose, right, because that's the white tribe. Yeah, exactly.
Speaker 5 (16:54):
And then seeing them look so disappointed as they know
what's happening.
Speaker 2 (16:58):
They're not going to win.
Speaker 3 (17:00):
They have so many players because it's six verses four
at this point that there is like this poetic justice
of them not winning a single challenge post.
Speaker 2 (17:09):
Mutiny, like not a single one and not even close.
Speaker 4 (17:12):
Was four straight wins for I to It's like pretty great,
like almost they wrote it up.
Speaker 2 (17:18):
And you would think we could start sending the Whites
home now. No.
Speaker 3 (17:24):
The theory back at raire Row is that the bottle
that they got for losing the twist that will be revealed.
Speaker 2 (17:30):
The tribal is that it's going to be a merge.
Speaker 3 (17:32):
Right because you you you open it after right home,
right after someone goes home.
Speaker 2 (17:37):
You open it up.
Speaker 4 (17:38):
So they think, and you know, we'll send someone home,
we'll open it up. You made it to the merge,
Go get yourself. A feast is waiting for you. Like
that's tough to have that expectation. And it does not
come to that, like to be thinking, hey, we're probably
gonna get fed tonight, like we're gonna merge. It changes everything.
Speaker 5 (17:59):
And then they should have known it would be bad
because usually it's a surprise.
Speaker 2 (18:04):
They want the excitement.
Speaker 4 (18:05):
Never say never tell Jeff that you know what's happening,
because he will run back to the.
Speaker 3 (18:11):
Crew, got the whiteboard at let's the whole season.
Speaker 5 (18:15):
I love it because Jeff's like, you don't know there's
going to be a merch. There might never be a
merged the merche. I might just retire the merge as
a concept altogether.
Speaker 2 (18:23):
That's how he He.
Speaker 3 (18:24):
Did get up a little bit at the drible every
time the same thing.
Speaker 2 (18:29):
This is a fresh on my mind.
Speaker 3 (18:32):
But the UH fans versus favorites, they did a thing
where they were like thinking that it was going to be.
Speaker 2 (18:43):
Three Little pump. He's like, you don't know that, what
if it wasn't?
Speaker 8 (18:47):
Yeah, it's just classic like and nowadays, like, honestly, I
do feel like then on any given season, you really
didn't truly know how it was going to shake out.
Speaker 4 (18:58):
And that is there is one point for the Survivor
nerds that like, don't watch New Era because it is like,
you know, it's.
Speaker 2 (19:08):
Wait, pretty much we know a formula to an extent.
Speaker 3 (19:12):
Yeah, we know, like there's not nearly as many like
twist and turns as there would. That's one thing that
I hope after fifty we start singing is watching.
Speaker 2 (19:21):
I hope we just start getting wild twists. Yeah.
Speaker 5 (19:24):
I think after the bird Cage Idle thing, I think
I'm fine with how things are now.
Speaker 2 (19:30):
Do you Are you familiar with the.
Speaker 5 (19:32):
Bird Cage Idol season? Is that that's forty four? That's
the one we started on. Yeah, you're right, I forgot.
Speaker 4 (19:38):
About not there obviously that was Yeah, well wait about start.
I think I'm about to start Blood Versus water Watch.
I'm real excited about. I might have one more before them.
Speaker 3 (19:49):
Dude, you're crushing don Okay, the First Blood versus Water
is a great season. You're about to meet Wow. Anyway, Yeah,
to your point, you brought up a good point how
it was like they should have known it was something bad.
I think Candace was like, Guys, if it was something good,
the winning team would have won it. Yeah, yeah, it's
(20:09):
gonna be something bad. And I think at first I
thought that their strategy going into trouble with who they
were going to vote out was going to be like, well,
we're about to go to merge, so we should get
out someone that's not gonna stick with us after merge.
Speaker 2 (20:21):
But they don't even really do that.
Speaker 3 (20:23):
They get the big talk is they're gonna get rid
of Rebecca because she isn't good at challenges and she
doesn't help much at camp.
Speaker 5 (20:29):
But the two names it was Rebecca and then Jonathan
because Nate says he ain't family right, and and Jonathan
he wasn't because he had just like I think this
is what this is two weeks after he flipped on
it tests, so nobody sees him as trustworthy.
Speaker 2 (20:46):
Yeah, which is kind of his whole thing. Yeah. Yeah,
the o G Whites are sticking together, dude. A lot
of whities, that's right.
Speaker 3 (20:59):
I just didn't underst like they were all talking about
getting rid of Rebecca and not Pinner, and I was like, guys,
get rid of Pinner? Are you crazy? Why would you
keep the guy that just betrayed his other try? But
then there is the element of well, he can't go
back to them, right, they would never trust him after that, right?
Speaker 2 (21:14):
Yeah? So then they vote off Rebecca.
Speaker 5 (21:18):
Yeah, and then this is when we get the twist
that bottle, open up the bottle and now turns out
they gotta evict somebody else from the Cook Island's house
to vote out. Oh sorry, sorry, guys, Come on, dude.
I was genuinely shocked. And I've seen this season totally
(21:39):
forgot too. I didn't see it coming. It was awesome.
Let me ask you guys this.
Speaker 3 (21:43):
Do you think that they had any time to talk
to each other before they voted again? Or do you
think they just had to go in there and hope
that they all were on the same pad.
Speaker 5 (21:50):
They probably had time, but they had to cut it
out of the episode.
Speaker 2 (21:53):
I would hope that they don't.
Speaker 3 (21:54):
But that's what I thought was so interesting, is because
you're so used to all of the votes kind of
being in one camp or the other.
Speaker 4 (22:00):
I think the only way to make like obviously doing
having to vote immediately after is.
Speaker 2 (22:06):
It's hard, but it's only a huge loss.
Speaker 4 (22:11):
If you don't get to talk about it, like that
scramble of not knowing and like just try like like
trying to like telepathically talk to you like voting for
I like, I hope that they didn't get to talk
to it.
Speaker 2 (22:23):
It'll do it a new era. Now they just get
up and whisper.
Speaker 3 (22:26):
Yeah, I I thought, because whenever typically when you're at tribal,
everyone's either voting for one person or the other or
they're all unanimous on one person. I thought it would
be really interesting where everybody's scrambling and so they are
like five different people get votes.
Speaker 2 (22:41):
Yeah, Like I thought that would be really interesting. But
I wonder what the most people voted in one tribal.
That's a good question.
Speaker 4 (22:48):
That's that'll be a good fun facts for Chase. Yeah,
so they don't get time to DISCUSSI uh Rudy.
Speaker 2 (22:53):
Died, I did hear that weirdly.
Speaker 5 (22:57):
I heard it again at the beginning of the beginning
of Oh yeah, it is the beginning of it.
Speaker 2 (23:02):
The whole what I know, Rudy died. I've got an
memorial to show your brother. I was.
Speaker 5 (23:09):
I was watching Cook Island and they started it off
with this thing about all the players they got, and
I was like, this is kind of weird, but yeah,
rest in peace, Rudy.
Speaker 2 (23:19):
Did I ever clarify on the air what happened? I
don't remember.
Speaker 5 (23:22):
I figured out what happened. I yeah, I clarified on
the Sanctuary. Oh, Jonathan and Kristen.
Speaker 3 (23:29):
I watched a video talking about all of the survivors
that had died right before the episode started.
Speaker 2 (23:36):
So in my mind we all saw yeah, yeah.
Speaker 3 (23:39):
Because I'm an idiot, you are the laugh at Chase
on his birthday ha ha.
Speaker 2 (23:45):
Chase is the program director for CBS with You. It's like,
here's what we're going to watch.
Speaker 5 (23:50):
Now, Like they think it's the season forty eight premiere,
but it's actually an in memorial Chase his new podcast.
Speaker 2 (23:59):
It's Scooby Doo.
Speaker 3 (24:02):
They think it's Survivor, it's actually Scooby Too.
Speaker 4 (24:06):
I would win, Uh, what your season where it's just
the people from Scooby Doo.
Speaker 3 (24:13):
Daphne, that's a good pool. We should do a whole
episode where we go down, because I think I could
really get into this. Yeah, so Jenny gets voted out.
I thought for sure Pinner was going to be the
next one to go.
Speaker 2 (24:28):
But they stick with the whites. They stick with the whites.
They did.
Speaker 5 (24:32):
I thought, you know, when when you set up there's
two names and then you vote one out, turns out
you got to vote out a second.
Speaker 2 (24:38):
I think you would just go with the other name.
But no, they pull up a.
Speaker 4 (24:42):
Name like here at the end of it, like they're
not articulating this, but this is what's happening.
Speaker 2 (24:48):
You look at the other tribe. They are all minorities, right.
Speaker 3 (24:52):
Yeah, yes, So if you're playing this game and this
is the whole theme of the season, war is the
race war season?
Speaker 4 (25:01):
It like, it does make sense how they got to
this conclusion. It is weird that they're not talking about
it anymore though.
Speaker 2 (25:09):
They like not bring it up.
Speaker 4 (25:11):
Yeah, that was the whole thing to start the season,
and to me, it is very clear how they got
to that conclusion with this immediate second vote was Hey,
the most important thing right now, even though we don't
like Penner, Pinner is another number for for us.
Speaker 3 (25:27):
Yeah, the whites are wreaking havoc on the island. That's interesting.
Out of control. Yeah, and that's the end of episode ten. Guy,
all right, what did you guys think of that episode?
Speaker 5 (25:39):
No more thoughts, moving on episode twelve, let's get into it.
What Yah, we're just gonna jump roun.
Speaker 2 (25:44):
I'm just kidding. Well, it's episode eleven's next week.
Speaker 5 (25:47):
Oh we're skipping episode eleven. We're getting in twelve right back.
None of us have watched it, so we're just gonna theorize.
Speaker 2 (25:56):
This was a good a good episode.
Speaker 4 (25:59):
I challenges weren't great, but the twist was made.
Speaker 3 (26:05):
And all of the conversations and the strategy that was
going on, Candace going to exile.
Speaker 5 (26:10):
Again, Candace and Adam k I S S I n G. Yeah,
it was crazy. I enjoyed the challenges just because I
enjoy watching Rare Row lose and everything. I enjoyed watching
Ozzie be a beast, and he's such a beast that
Brand had to, you know, go back on his takes.
Speaker 2 (26:28):
I'm not going back on my takes. I'm no, you're
going back on you. You're a coward and a fool.
Speaker 3 (26:36):
Let's end this episode with some fun facts, which did
you already figure it out. No, I do have fun
facts for this episode that I had ahead of time.
This is the first time a starting tribe had two
eliminations at the same tribal council. Echa Borman's final words
were not aired due to the double elimination twists, so
she just didn't get to air her final.
Speaker 2 (26:57):
Words, essentially reserved for yeah. Any then he.
Speaker 4 (27:02):
Throws your thing down. You quit and throw your torch down.
We're not going to bear your words. Two things that
make Jeff mad. It's quitting and it's questioning, like if
there's gonna be.
Speaker 3 (27:14):
A merge, justudge, just purely judging on the what's coming
up next week on Survivor.
Speaker 2 (27:20):
I think we might it emerge. I think we might.
You're about to hear some ads that helped keep the
lights on here in the old studio. Thanks for listening
or don't listen. It's really up to you. At this point.
It is at the end of the show. I mean,
you're listening to me Hi, But here they come. I
promised they're coming. Yep, here they are. Happy Day.
