البيلِكانز دخلوا بفوضى جديدة بعد إقالة ويلي غرين عقب بداية 2–10. أربع سنين ونص، بلاي أوف مرتين، وانهيار 21–61 الموسم الماضي… ومع إدارة جديدة بدها تغيّر كل النظام، القرار كان مسألة وقت. إصابات زايون وغيرُه لعبت دور، بس فقدان غرفة الملابس وتشتت الفريق خلّى التغيير إجباري.
الإصابات مكملة ضرب. ليبرون رجع، بس يانيس وويمبي نزلوا، ومعهم لستة نجوم طويلة. النجوم غايبين عن ثلث المباريات تقريبًا، والفرق اللي عندها نجمين بالكاد عم يلعبوا سوا. ومع زيادة النسق والضغط، الإصابات قاعدة تزيد. الرسالة واضحة: قصّروا الموسم.
وما ننسى ملف المراهنات اللي عم يكبر. الـNBA فتحت تحقيق جديد وشملت الليكرز وغيرهم بعد سلسلة اعتقالات وتوسع الشبهات. وما في شي بربط لبرون مباشرة، بس التحقيقات بدها تثبت إن الدوري جدي بالحفاظ على نزاهته.
وبالنهاية مننزل على فقرة "تحت الرادار"—أربع قصص مقسّمة لفئات: أفضل قصة، أكبر مفاجأة، أكبر خيبة، ولاعب لازم تتابعوه. جولة على تورنتو، فينكس، تري يونغ، والروكي كون كنويبّل… قصص خفية بس تأثيرها كبير، ومنحاول نسلّط الضوء عليها بطريقة سريعة ومركّزة.
