An out-of-town geologist and his assistant explore the strange rocks at the end of Mudscoggin marsh. A murder at a nine-year-old's birthday party shatters the peaceful town and a receptionist at the local dentist's office becomes aware of her boss's disturbing behavior.
Casey, the handyman at Dental Services of East Haddam has a problem. Bonnie and Marco discuss Dr. Fusi's strange behavior and a mysterious note that was hidden in the office by the Doctor's former assistant. Connor and Kenny run into trouble while excavating the rocks at the end of the marsh.
Marco and Bonnie get closer to discovering what happened to Fusi's previous assistant, Catherine, Mazzanti makes Casey uncomfortable and the peculiar sonic phenomenon at Mudscoggin marsh seems to have had a strange effect on Kenny.
Dr. Fusi examines Kenny after the unsettling incident at the marsh. Casey recalls better days with Kenny and reports to Fusi about the unwanted attention from Patrolman Mazzanti. Bonnie and Marco steal some of Fusi's tapes to duplicate at home. René and Bo attempt to contact Judy spiritually.
Bonnie and Marco learn more about Catherine's whereabouts. Judy speaks on one of Fusi's tapes. Connor checks in with Magnus Becker Pharmaceutical and talks to Frank about Kenny's terrifying nightmare.
Bonnie and Marco bring their evidence to Mazzanti. Frank comes home to find Kenny in a strange state and Mazzanti presses Casey to help him squeeze Dr. Fusi.
Casey has something important to tell Dr. Fusi. At the diner where Bonnie and Marco are having breakfast, the locals are acting strange. Casey helps Connor at the site of the meteorite where they find others drawn there by the rocks. Bo returns home from the marsh and René finds he is not alone.
Fusi gets information out of Casey and makes an important connection. A distraught Frank brings Kenny in to see Fusi again. Fusi and Mazzanti discuss their arrangement. René and Bo begin their trek to visit Judy at the Psychiatric Hospital.
In this Season 1 finale, Marco and Bonnie set a plan in motion, René and Bo are contacted by Judy in a motel room upstate and Kenny takes his frogs on the road.

Judy has a visitor at Westmore State Psychiatric Hospital, Mazzanti pursues Kenny as he heads out of East Haddam, Casey's band is rehearsing a new song with strange lyrics and Bonnie and Marco are on their way up to New Hampshire to try to find Catherine.
Connor checks in with Frank about the strange behavior of his son, Mazzanti takes the high-speed chase upstate, Bonnie and Marco arrive at the cabins and Magnus Becker introduces Connor to Dr. Giustina Nobili.
Mazzanti continues his chase, Bonnie and Marco try to win Catherine's confidence, Casey begins to lose track of time at after sensing a presence at Mudscoggin Marsh and Fusi fills Becker in on his findings.
René and Bo visit Judy at the Psychiatric Hospital, Bonnie, Marco and Catherine prepare to bring justice down on Fusi, Dr. Isabella Schifano arrives at Becker Pharmaceutical with her synthesizer and finds that some sounds can have very negative effects on the frogs.
Things begin to unravel as Kenny finds Bo and René at Westmore Psychiatric Hospital just as Catherine, Bonnie and Marco are meeting with Dr. Haines to spill the details of Fusi's horrific treatment of Judy.
Hell breaks loose in the form of a little girl from Mudscoggin, CT.
Casey takes another detour out of consciousness during band practice. Mazzanti arrives on the scene just as Kenny and Judy make their escape and Connor finds Isabella waking from a frog-induced hallucination.
