Show Notes:

  • Who’s Voice Are You Listening To?
      • We’re flooded with opinions- influencers, false teachers, YouTube preachers.
      • God has made it clear about Jesus, His voice must be supreme.
      • False Teachers rely on human wisdom; John reminds us: God’s word is greater. (Proverbs 3:5 - “Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding.”
  • The Testimony Within
    • This isn’t some mystical elitism. This is grace-born assurance.

    • Usually subtle

      • Read the Word. Know what God says.
    • Trust the testimony
      • Let the Spirit affirm your faith, not shake it.
    • Reject false testimony
      • Don’t flirt with distortion.
    • Encourage others.
      • Speak up when the truth is twisted. Be Bold in truth, gentle in love
    • Set Boundaries to avoid false teaching
      • Ask God to strengthen your knowledge, wisdom, and discernment in His Word.
      • Guard your heart
    • How Do We Respond?
  • Conclusion:

The time will come when people will not put up with sound doctrine. Instead, to suit their own desires, they will gather around them a great number of teachers to say what their itching ears want to hear. They will turn their ears
