Speaker 1 (00:00):
Hey there and welcome back to the Live Life and
Apology Earthy podcast.
I'm Shannon Kaye, and todaywe're talking about something I
know will hit home for a lot ofyou, and that's the idea that
manifesting has to take up yourentire day, or that you need to
constantly be in manifestingmode to get results.
And it doesn't work that way.
Manifestation isn't somethingthat you do all day.

(00:21):
Today, I'm going to walk youthrough a systematic approach to
manifesting that'll simplifythe process and make it way more
manageable.
This week, we are going to bediving in and focusing on how
you can get powerfulmanifestation results.
In fact, trying to manifest allday long is more likely to burn
you out than to get you whatyou want.

(00:44):
So today we're really going toget into a more efficient,
streamlined way to manifest yourdesires.
So grab your favorite drink, cozy up and let's get started.
The first thing that we have todo is bust the major myth that,
to manifest successfully, youhave to be thinking about your
desires all the time, or thatevery moment of your day has to

(01:05):
be filled with visualizations, affirmations or scripting.
This myth is exhausting and, honestly, it's not sustainable.
Manifesting isn't aboutconstantly focusing on what you
want.
It's about aligning yourthoughts, emotions and actions
in a way that allows yourdesires to come into your life

(01:26):
without overworking your mindand energy.
You don't have to be inmanifestation mode 24-7 for the
universe to get the message.
In fact, trying to maintain aconstant focus often leads to
frustration, burnout and doubt.
You start feeling like I'mdoing everything, so why isn't
it happening?
The more pressure you put onyourself to manifest all the

(01:49):
time, the more likely you'regoing to be pushing your desires
away because you're operatingfrom a place of lack, like
you're having to force it.
You're chasing instead ofattracting.
I did this so much when I firststarted my manifestation
journey because we think that'swhat we need to do.
We need to completely focusconstantly on everything we want

(02:14):
.
We have to show up and bedelusional in our life.
I see that a lot.
Let's be delusional, anddelusional does work.
You do have to be delusionaland training your mind to think
a different way and havedifferent beliefs contrary to
the ones you already have.
Here's the problem with thedelusional that's put out there

(02:34):
when you're manifesting.
You know I'm in my delulu eraand I'm going to go out here and
be completely delusional.
We have to start somewhere.
You know, as you go through theprocess, it's actually easier
to do that.
It's easier to show up as theperson you want to be.
But I'm just going to be realwith you.
When I first started, I thought, okay, I'm going to go through,

(02:55):
I'm going to walk through mylife.
I'm going to just be thisdelusional version of myself I'm
going to call it in.
The problem was I still hadkids to take care of and
relationships as a part of justthings that didn't allow me to
go through my whole day beingdelusional because I had stuff I
needed to do outside of myself, and that's okay.
I think there's a lot ofpressure that that's how you get

(03:18):
where you're trying to goreally quick, really fast, when
truly yes, you have to enterinto a state of believing
something about yourself, yourcircumstances, life, to manifest
that so it can come into you.
It's probably easy to go in andbe completely delusional for a
day or two on this person thatyou want to be, but it's not
sustainable.
Today I want to offer you apowerful, systematic approach

(03:42):
that's not only sustainable butit's repeatable, because that's
key.
It's repeatable so that you canmanifest your desires going
through this approach.
You see, I was getting so burntout to where I could hold up
this version of myself that Iwanted to be for a short amount
of time, and then I would get sotired or overwhelmed, or just

(04:03):
it was too much, that whatevereffort I had put in for those
few days, or maybe even a week, just went to the wayside,
because then I needed threeweeks to recover.
We are shifting our mind, weare creating new neural pathways
.
I always liken this to ifyou've been around here for a
while working out, if you wantyour dream body, and you go to

(04:24):
the gym and you work out, youpush yourself so hard I can do
this for days and days, and daysand days and days.
Then your body gets tired, maybe you have an injury.
You're just so sore you can'tdo it.
It's not enjoyable, it's notfun because you've been in the
gym for four or five hours a day.
That's not sustainable.

(04:44):
And it's the same thing whenyou're trying to step into the
ideal version of you andmanifest what you want.
It's not sustainable to do thisfor four or five, six, seven
hours a day and keep going.
Then we wonder why we haveinconsistent results.
Or we get a little bit and thenit goes, or we get a little bit
but we never get any more.
That's why having a sustainable, systematic approach is

(05:07):
important.
That is why I went on thejourney to get it done, to
figure it out, to use myknowledge of how our brain works
, because I wanted to manifestsystematically without being
exhausted, without burning out, without feeling like I was
always starting over because Ihad to stop and start and stop

(05:27):
and start.
So what is this alternative?
What is this systematicapproach?
This framework is to simplifythe process.
It's going to break it downinto manageable steps for you so
that you can fit it into youreveryday life.
You don't need to bemanifesting all day long, just
like if you're trying to getyour dream body.
You don't need to bemanifesting all day long, just
like if you're trying to getyour dream body.
You don't need to go to the gymfor the whole day.

(05:49):
You can build that muscle, youcan build that body, just like
you can build your mind, withouthaving to do it 24-7.
The steps are clarity, identifying, replacing and
aligning.
You could also say clarity, identifying, empowering and
aligning.
Replacing and empowering samething, interchangeable.

(06:10):
So let's break each one down.
Clarity is where everythingstarts.
You have to be really clear onwhat you actually want to
manifest.
If you have vague desires, theuniverse is going to respond
with vague results.
Clarity means knowing what youwant, why you want it and how
you're going to feel when youhave it.

(06:32):
So, instead of saying I wantmore money, get specific.
I want to manifest $10,000 fora trip to Greece.
The more precise you are, theeasier it is to focus your
energy and align with thatdesire.
You could take your clarityfurther so that you leave
opportunities of.
I am manifesting $10,000 for atrip to Greece and it can come

(06:54):
to me in multiple ways.
That way, if somebody decidesto buy your plane ticket and
somebody else decides to pay foryour, you know, stay wherever
you're going to stay when you'rein Greece.
If it totals $10,000, great.
However specific you want it tobe.
What do you want the money for?
What's its purpose in your life?
Finding clarity.

(07:15):
I did a whole episode aboutbeing honest with the universe
because I had an aha moment onetime, a lot of times with
clarity, even though we want tobe specific, sometimes we are
specific but it's not reallywhat we want, and that also
sends mixed signals to theuniverse.
Maybe you really don't want togo to Greece.
Maybe you think you should justgo because it sounds like a
great vacation or a Caribbeancruise or whatever's trending at

(07:37):
the time.
Maybe that's not really whatyou want.
Maybe it's what you think youshould want.
So clarity is not just decidingwhat is it that I want, but
what do I truly want?
Not what I think I should want, but what do I truly want?
Do I really want a BMW?
In my case, no, that's not whatI want.
I want a Kia.
There's a specific Kia that Iam working on manifesting for

(08:00):
myself right now.
So what do you truly want?
Bmws or, you know, I don't know, whatever the cool cars are I'm
not a car kind of person butour Lexus, right, these high-end
cars Is that what you want?
Or you think you should wantbecause it's a status symbol?
What do you truly, truly want?
I truly want a Kia, likethere's a Kia out there that I

(08:22):
want and there's specificreasons why I want it and that's
what I want to get.
So is it what I should want orwhat I do want?
When it comes to clarity, aswell as being specific and
crystal clear, for this car Iwanted.
I went and test drove and I testdrove different models of what
I wanted.
I want the base model, butthere's one thing on the base

(08:42):
model I don't want.
So then I was like, okay, I'mgoing to go to the next model,
because there's nothing on thesouped up models that I truly
want.
The fact of the matter is, thebase model is the only one that
comes with cloth seats, and Idon't like leather seats.
And they're not even leatherseats, guys, they're fake
leather seats.
It's not like it's real leather.
But I'm not a leather seat gal,so a leather seat gal.
So I was thinking about it andI was like, but I really don't

(09:04):
like the bumper.
I don't know, that sounds crazy, but on the base model, I don't
like how the bumper is.
So I was talking to my husband.
He says, well, you could alwaysget the car seat covers to
cover up the leather seats.
I was like, oh, okay, cool.
So I'm trying to manifest thenext one up from the base model.
So that's what I mean when itsays be clear about what you
want.
Is that what you really want?

(09:25):
How can you get precisely whatit is that you want so that
universe can bring it to you.
So clarity, that's the firstone.
The next one is to identify.
So you know what you want, andyou have to know what you want
before you can identify thelimiting beliefs that are going
to hold you back from gettingwhat you want.
The limiting beliefs that aregoing to hold you back from
getting what you want, becauseit's limiting beliefs that get

(09:47):
in our way.
We manifest from what webelieve, and what we believe is
stored in our subconscious mind.
So what is standing in your way?
And this is where so manypeople get stuck, because you
think you're doing everythingright, but there's some
deep-rooted belief that'ssabotaging your efforts.
So you're going to have to askyourself what's keeping me from

(10:10):
believing I can have this?
What stories am I tellingmyself?
Identify those limiting beliefs, because that's the key to
moving past them.
I'm very big on making surewe're being specific.
I know what my desire is.
Okay, I know my desire is tohave this Kia that I don't have

(10:30):
to pay for, that's brand new.
It has to be a 2024 model orabove, right above, the base
model.
That is what I want and I don'twant a car payment that I know.
So what's keeping me frombelieving this, what's getting
my way?
I had to ask myself every time Igo through the process of
manifesting something, I get theclarity and then I say, okay,
what stories am I telling myselfabout what it is that I want

(10:52):
that could hinder me?
And what hinders me is wow, cars are so expensive these days
.
How am I going to come up withbecause I did test drive it and
I got you know numbers how am Icoming up with $50,000 to
$55,000 so I don't have to havea payment?
That's a lot of money.
Can I get that?
Would I be able to save that?
Do I really need to finance?

(11:13):
Maybe I can put down half andthen just finance the rest and
pay it off early.
All these thoughts goingthrough my mind.
So I had to ask myself why am Itelling myself that I have to
finance a car that's new?
Because I also went into thestory of if I want a cash car,
it can't be the one that I want, because the one that I want is
newer and cash cars are oldercars.

(11:33):
But why do I believe that?
Well, I believe it becausethat's what I grew up to believe
.
If you want a new car, youfinance it.
If you want to pay cash for acar, it's an older car, so an
older car, so I had to identifythat.
You see how this process worksyou get clear on what you want
and then you identifyspecifically what stands in your
way between you and that desire.
If I were to just say, oh, it'shard to get money, that's not

(11:55):
being very specific to my desire.
What specific beliefs can Iwork through related to my
desire and that I need toidentify?
Now that you've identifiedwhatever it is that's holding
you back, it's time to replaceit.
You know what your limitingbeliefs are.
You have to replace it with anempowering belief, and that's

(12:16):
where you are going to make anaffirmation statement that has
to be believable for you.
You can't be saying, oh, I'mnot good enough, I can't have it
.
You have to replace it.
You have to replace thelimiting belief and I think this
is where people get tripped upand we talked about this on the
podcast last week as well ismany times when we are crafting
our affirmations, we craft it toour desire.

(12:38):
I am going to get a Kia cashwith no car payment.
That's fine.
You can add that in.
You can have more than oneempowering belief that you're
replacing your limiting beliefswith.
But in my scenario I would needto say I am capable of buying a
car cash.
That's new.

(12:59):
People buy cars all the timewithout financing them.
I have to be contradictory tothe limiting belief that I
actually have.
People can get a car for cashthat is new instead of oh all
cash.
Cars are older cars.
You see how they counteracteach other.
You have to counteract thelimiting belief.
Once you counteract that, thenyou can create the new belief.

(13:21):
The new belief is going toreinforce the desire, but it
necessarily isn't directly tiedto it.
Now, like I said, I can havemore than one.
I can people get new cars withcash all the time.
I can buy a car cash that isnew without having a payment.
I am going to buy a Kia cashwith no payment.
But how are you going to frameyour new empowering belief to

(13:44):
help you steer away from the onethat's limiting?
You Don't have to be financedto be purchased.
I can purchase a new car.
I'm retraining my brain to thinkin a different way and that's
really all.
Manifesting is because if we'remanifesting from our beliefs,
then we have to train up newbeliefs and finally you're going
to align your thoughts, emotions and actions have to
work together towards yourdesire.
Now you don't have to train upnew beliefs.
And, finally, you're going toalign your thoughts, emotions

(14:05):
and actions have to worktogether towards your desire.
Now you don't have to focus onthis 24 hours a day, but you do
need to take actions that alignyour thoughts emotions all
together.
If I'm trying to manifest thisnew car, what am I doing?
What have I already done?
While I'm changing my beliefs?
I am going to go test drivethis car.

(14:27):
I'm going to make sure it'ssomething I actually want.
I'm going to go feel myself inthis car when I'm driving down
the road.
I'm envisioning myself drivingin the Kia that I want, how it
feels in that car.
Now, I'm not always in the car.
Right now, I'm not in the car.
I'm here recording this podcast.
I'm not thinking about the carright now.
It's not relevant right now.
Alignment should be relevant.

(14:48):
That's why you don't have to doit all day, every day.
It's not relevant for me to sithere and obsess over a car that
hasn't come into my 3D realityyet while I'm recording this
podcast, this podcast.
But if I get in my car and Idrive to go get a coffee later

(15:09):
and I'm driving.
I can feel what it feels liketo be driving in my Kia because
I've already test drove it, so Iknow exactly what it feels like
to be in it, and that's why ithas to be a 24 model or above,
because it has a certaindashboard feature that I like.
I need to feel what that feelslike.
That's my emotions.
I need to think about myaffirmations and my empowering
beliefs as I'm driving.
People buy cash cars all thetime that are new.
I can buy a car new with cash.

(15:32):
It is possible for me.
I'm driving in my new Kia.
Oh my gosh, I love it.
How am I thinking about it?
How am I feeling about it withmy actions as I'm driving?
And, like I said, anotheraction was me going and test
driving the car to physically bein it.
So what are you doing to alignto your beliefs?
Are you applying for positions?

(15:54):
Are you networking with peoplein your field?
What are you doing?
But you're doing it when it'srelevant.
I hope that makes sense.
It doesn't have to be all thetime when it's relevant.
That's the alignment, becauseif not, you're really just
focusing on the lack, and that'swhere we get into it.
When I'm obsessing over it,then I start to focus on the
lack of it.

(16:14):
Now, if I sit here and thinkabout this Kia that I want all
day long, when it's not reallyrelevant, I'm just obsessing
over the fact that it's not inmy driveway, and that's the lack
, instead of embodying what it'slike, and that's that
delusional we talk about, orthat delusional that you see on
social media.
You have to be delusional inyour ideal version of yourself

(16:35):
that when I'm driving down theroad, I'm delusionally thinking
that I'm driving in my Kiaalready because it's relevant at
that time.
That's the systematic approachto manifesting.
You're getting clarity.
You're identifying the limitingbeliefs that are going to get
in the way of what you're tryingto manifest.
You're going to replace thosebeliefs, not with your desire,
but with something contrary tothe belief that's getting in

(16:58):
your way.
You have to create a new beliefto get what you desire, because
there's a belief in your way ofthat desire, and then you're
going to find moments throughoutyour day to align.
This really gives you a clearprocess to follow, rather than
feeling like you have to be inmanifestation mode all day.
So I want to talk about how canyou use this approach without

(17:19):
taking up your whole day, because the key is efficiency
here.
You don't have to spend hoursjournaling or meditating or
visualizing what you need to get.
Just be intentional with yourtime and energy.
So I have a series on agratitude anchor on socials that
you can look at for how you canalign.
That's like checkpointsthroughout the day.

(17:40):
You can have a morningintention, you can have an
evening reflection.
You can use these practices.
I use these practicesjournaling and meditating and
visualizing and they areimportant.
What I really want you to getis, if I don't want to do this
all day, every day, how can I doit?
Craft your alignment to whereit's relevant when you're
driving your car or when you areat a networking event embodying

(18:03):
that person who's going to havethat career or that job
opportunity, aligning when itmakes sense and you integrate
that alignment into your routineand into your day.
You can integrate themeditating on it, the
visualizing of it, thejournaling of it.
Like I said, I do those things.
I have a routine for thosethings in my life in general,

(18:24):
when I'm really honing in onsomething like the car, when is
this relevant?
When I'm out running errands,and that's when I do it, and I
just trust the universe to dothe rest.
You know, that's what we got todo.
We have to trust the universeIf we're constantly journaling
and meditating, and meditatingand journaling and visualizing
all the time, because it's justnot here yet.

(18:45):
So I need to do more, focusingonce again on the lack instead
of trusting the universe.
When I do script journaling, Iscript one time.
I don't script over and overagain.
Whatever it is, I script itonce and I just surrender it to
the universe.
There's no need for me to do itover and over again.
The universe has heard me.
Now I just need to be open toreceiving and letting come to me

(19:06):
and making sure I'm inalignment.
You may be wondering whysystematic approaching works so
well, and the thing is theuniverse doesn't respond to
frantic energy.
It responds to calm, clear, intentional energy.
When you're using thissystematic approach, you're
taking the pressure off yourselfto do everything all the time.
You're focusing on doing theright things in a manageable way

(19:27):
, aligning once again when it'srelevant, and the more aligned
you are, the more the universeis going to meet you.
It's not about how much timeyou spend manifesting.
It's about the quality of youralignment.
When you're aligned, you cantrust that the universe is
working behind the scenes, evenwhen you're not actively

(19:47):
thinking about it.
Let me give you a real lifeexample About this time last
year not quite, but about thistime last year I was going
through some things.
It was definitely a pattern.
So funny, my daughter pointedout the pattern.
She pointed out the time frame.
I said, okay, I have to finallylet go, because what I realized
what the pattern was.
I used a specific situation andsomething that happened quite

(20:07):
frequently in my life so that Icould control the situation and
I could fix it.
I was like okay, universe, thistime I don't want to fix it,
I'm just going to give it to you.
This is exactly what I want, this is what I need from you,
and I'm going to sit back andI'm going to trust you.
I got into alignment.
I got very clear about what Iwanted.
Really.
It was I want money that Idon't have to work for.

(20:29):
That's what I want.
I want money that I don't haveto work for, and within four
weeks, money that I didn't haveto work for just starts showing
up constantly, and it hasn'tstopped.
So not only that, I said Idon't want a miracle, I don't
want something that's one-off.

(20:50):
I want consistent money that Idon't have to work for, because
I've gotten one-offs in the past.
I've gotten awards for $10,000and all kinds of stuff, money
that was owed to me that Ididn't know was owed to me in
the tune of $15,000.
I didn't want a one-off.
I wanted five figures a monthto show up in my mailbox that I
didn't have to work for or showup somewhere in an account in a
mailbox somewhere.
I got that and it happenedconsistently.
But it's when I learned to letgo, align, be clear with that

(21:13):
desire.
I aligned, I did the limitingbeliefs, I did it all.
I worked on that alignment.
And here's the thing Oldbeliefs are going to try to
creep back in.
There was a moment when oldbeliefs tried to creep back in.
I was like no, because thatisn't my life anymore.
I had to give myself a pep talk, and that's okay.
I want you to know like peoplego through that and that's okay,
it's normal.
I have just kept solidifying it, solidifying it and solidifying

(21:36):
it the more that belief Okay.
So here's your challenge forthis week.
I want you to start using asystematic approach to
manifestation.
I want you to get clear on whatyou want, identify and replace
your limiting beliefs and alignyour actions with your desires.
Now I go deep into this.

(21:56):
In the Manifesting Made SimpleMasterclass.
You can grab it in the showdescription or you can go to

You get your free masterclassand guide because it goes
through some things to look outfor and to do in each part of
this process and it sets thefoundation for systematic
manifestation so that not onlycan you manifest endless time,
but you can repeat the processand get consistent results.

(22:18):
I want you to let go of thepressure of trying to manifest
all day long.
I want you to trust that, whenyou're aligned with the universe
, that the universe is doing itspart even when you're not
thinking about it.
