Speaker 1 (00:00):
It's happy hour, bitches.
It's happy hour and actuallythis happy hour I am sober.
I want to share this.
It's an adaptogenic,neurotropic, botanical sparkling
bubbly drink, right?
So if you are, maybe you had along week and you drank all week

(00:20):
and drank yesterday then yousaid, hey, maybe time for a
little break, maybe time tochill on that?
Yeah, But the cool thing aboutit.
So I'm drinking the peach mangoflavor.
Yep delish And it's called hyal.
It's really good and you canget it online.
We'll put the link in there butit only has 30 calories, which
is nice.
Five grams of sugar.

(00:41):
It's all organic.
There's all kinds of cool shitin there, but a lot like
cordyceps, mushrooms, tomericand lion mane and they have what
they call the feeling thatgives you.
they call it the float.
So instead of a buzz, they callit the float.
Instead of a buzz, go on afloat with hyal and we totally

(01:03):
love it.
They do not sponsor us, butwe're open.

Speaker 2 (01:06):
I hope they do Give us a holler.

Speaker 1 (01:09):
But it's so good if you're feeling a little over the
drink.

Speaker 2 (01:13):
Yeah Well, or honestly yeah, if you're at a
barbecue or a party or somethingand you're just you're not into
drinking that day, or you don'tdrink, or whatever.
This is an excellent, excellentalternative.

Speaker 1 (01:24):
Yes, i love it.
Wanted to get that.
Share that because we want toshare any new products we find
for our gals.
And happy hour This one.
We're gonna focus on a couplecool experiences.
We've had doing sound baths andmeditations over the last
couple weeks with one of ourfavorite people in the whole

(01:44):
world called Kristen.
Fritz, yes, magical goddess,she's amazing.

Speaker 2 (01:50):
I told her that I know if a butterfly was a person
.
that's how she because he waslike oh, like, what's she like?
And I was like basically that'sthe only way I can describe her
If, like, this big majesticbutterfly turned into a person
it would be.
Kristen Fritz.

Speaker 1 (02:03):
Yes, I love that.
I absolutely love that.
Yeah, she, I, yeah, I've nevermet anybody like her and she's,
you know, definitely touched mylife and yours.

Speaker 2 (02:15):
I think right And Tammy, my stepmom, loves her.

Speaker 1 (02:18):
She's going.
We've brought you know cousinNicole there.
So anyways, her ripple effectis huge.
Yes, it is, but so we want toshare.
We went to a meditation at herhouse.
She opened back up hermeditation calendar for this
summer.
She has beautiful studio onLake Oswego.
Hello, it is small, like Idon't know if there's like 10 or
11 people in there.

Speaker 2 (02:38):
She said that the studio fits 12.
And when she does like.
So what time Tammy and I didthe sound bath outside on the
dock.
That's about 30.
Okay, cool And so to do the instudio meditation.
You really have to be like yesyes And lucky we were.

Speaker 1 (02:54):
Yeah, we were.
So, she had her first one of theseason.
We both went.
It was amazing.
Yeah, it was focused on theSophia century, which, if you're
intrigued by that, google it.
And I brought my own Sophia.
Yes, you brought your Sophia.
I was there.
Sophia is just rock in theworld.
I think I mentioned this lastseason, but I read a book called

(03:14):
the Sophia code, which is allabout this sort of energy, this
divine, feminine wisdom that'shere and how to connect with the
goddesses.
So that's a beautiful book, yeah, but do some research on it
.
It was fabulous And themeditation was all around that
and what you were focusing on itto bring that to life for
yourself.

(03:34):
Like, what were you?
what were you focusing on?
So, of course, i chose love, because that's my jam.

Speaker 2 (03:41):
And yeah, it was super beautiful.

Speaker 1 (03:43):
How about you?

Speaker 2 (03:44):
I loved it myself, of course.
I mean, it's such a calmingspace, she is such like an
inviting energy.
I just, you know you can't gowrong.
Can't go wrong when you'rehanging out with Christian Fritz
.
Yeah, mine, i feel the what had, what came up for me and came
to me during that meditationwith support, and I'm balancing

(04:04):
sort of like how much do I relyon others to support me and how
much can I really support myself?
And not obviously financially, but like mental stability and
like partnership and how to keepthis row boat a row it, you
know, if you will.
So, yeah, it was reallyinsightful and they always are.

(04:25):
Yeah, i felt a lot of, you know, calming It's funny to say like
powerful energy, because itwasn't like a masculine type of
like rush sort of energy, but itwas powerful and like a very
calming, empowering way.

Speaker 1 (04:42):
Yeah.
I should say Yeah, I love that.
Yeah so if you live in the area, you must go, and then she did
a sound bath.

Speaker 2 (04:52):
Yes so.
Summer solstice, yep.
So while you were out of town, tammy and I went to the summer
solstice sound bath Absolutelygorgeous, met some really cool
people, one woman specificallythat I hope will have on the
show, so TBD on that, but it waseye opening.

(05:14):
It sort of felt like like shereally tapped into.
You know, what do you need tofeel right now in order to be
your most like empowered self?
You know what can you tellyourself, even if you don't
believe that it's fully trueright now, what do you need to
be true?

(05:34):
What are you working towards toto become your most empowered
self?
And so you know, for me it wasa lot of like I am strong, i am
capable, i am loved.
You know that sort of vibebecause it really was about like
building up your own sense ofwho you are and knowing that you

(05:58):
carry this power within you.

Speaker 1 (06:01):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (06:02):
It was really incredible.
It's one of those things that'sso hard to talk about later,
because in the moment it's sopowerful and in the moment
you're really in it, you're justlike nothing else is there,
almost.
So then when you try to tapback into it, it just seems
almost like a dream that'sslipping away.
You know it's like you'retrying right after you wake up
and you're trying to recall itand it's just not.

(06:23):
I wish I could record the wholething and then just play it
every day.
Yeah, that's how you know it wasI was sad to miss it.

Speaker 1 (06:32):
I mean, the lunch she did last year for the Full Moon
in August was super beautiful, yeah, and at night and the bats
came out, it was really great.
But this was summer solstice, right, so it was a different
energy, sounds like it was alittle bit different energy and
but still just packed rightTotally.
It was a lot of people there.

Speaker 2 (06:52):
Yep, every seat was full.

Speaker 1 (06:54):
That's so cool.

Speaker 2 (06:55):
Yeah, I mean it feels really special to be able to be
a part of that communitybecause it is very like you have
to know someone who knowssomeone just to get to the list.

Speaker 1 (07:05):
Yes.

Speaker 2 (07:06):
I've never felt so included.

Speaker 1 (07:07):
Yeah, i love it.
We did an episode last season Ithink I don't know which one it
was but we talked about soundhealing and kind of the magic
behind it.
So we're not going to talk toomuch about that in a happy hour
Maybe we'll.
Maybe we'll have a sound healeron and they can explain it to
us.
That'd be great.
If you're a sound healer, giveus a shout.

(07:28):
Yep, but we want like scienceof it and what it does.
The sound bath I was at well, actually she's amazing, So maybe
she wants to be interviewed.

Speaker 2 (07:37):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (07:38):
Sam, if you're listening, I let her know we'd
be talking about her and theexperience on the happy hour, so
hopefully she's listening, hitme.

Speaker 2 (07:46):
We'd love to interview you, yeah.

Speaker 1 (07:49):
So in Arizona, speaking of couples doing things
together, it was.
Kyle's 40th birthday.
So we were in Scottsdale and Iwas trying to find a sound
healing there, kind of like wedid at the beach with a healing
exercise, and like wherever wego, got to find something cool,
yeah, and I was laying in bedone night, a couple nights
before the trip, maybe a week, and I kept seeing this chick and

(08:09):
like she had this studio and Iwas like, well, i wonder where
she's at.
And I happened to look and shewas in Scottsdale, of course,
and she's like a full on healer.
Her mantra or her phrase is Irise, you rise.
She's super beautiful Love.
That You can follow her on herInstagram is Sam underscore E

(08:31):
underscore pants, so Sammy pants.
Her name's Samantha Harper, soshe's a website.
You can follow all her linksthere, and the studio is the
portal Arizona.
So that's where we went to herstudio And so they also have an
Instagram.
It's a community, i think aswell, and it's home of modern

(08:52):
Reiki and the sound chamber.
Very cool.
You got to check it out.
I saw it on there and I waslike we are doing this.
I'm taking Kyle, he's turned 40, let's go.

Speaker 2 (09:00):
Yes.

Speaker 1 (09:01):
So and met her.
She was such a beautiful energy.
We went in and I want to say,is it two or six?
It was like eight of us, It'sabout eight of us and it was in
this cool like oh, I don't evenlike really old retro space, It
was very cool, vibes.

Speaker 2 (09:18):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (09:19):
Very artsy And so really the intention of going
was just to, you know, trysomething new in Arizona, but
get some healing energy for Kyleas he turns 40.
He's never done anything likethat, he's never been to
Christens, he's never doneanything And I've done the
previous sound baths, which Ilove, so we walk in.
She was super welcoming andlovely And this one gal was

(09:41):
actually late and she goes.
The girl was like oh my God,i'm so sorry And she goes.
You know that you're never late, you're always exactly on time
you know, she had this liketotally different energy and I
was really, really cool.
And then she came around and shehad like sage, yeah, and in
this bowl and she would goaround to each person and kind
of cleanse our energy as shewalked around.

(10:02):
She walked us through like abeautiful, just information on
the practice and the differentchakras and the different bowls
aligned to them, kind of gave usthe setup right, like here's
what they mean, here's how youmight feel, here's what's gonna
happen.
Very, you know, get too settledand chill.
So that felt really good.

(10:24):
We started with some breathwork, just easy breath work,
breathing in and out, gettingyourself really centered.
So that was beautiful.
And then we all laid down, wehad little blankets and got cozy
.
She started the sound healingAt the beginning of it.
I was laying down and mystomach started feeling a little
like.
Then I was like, oh man, what'sgonna?

(10:47):
happen here Like you know, thestomach was getting a little
cagey.
So, and she had started it bysaying either place your hands
up, you know to receive, or downto the earth for grounding,
because we're laying down right,Okay.
So hands are down.
Then she like she's doing thesound bath and during it, So my
stomach starts getting weirdlower stomach and my hands are

(11:10):
down, I just intuitively like, and she kept saying that your
body will know what to do.
So but I did.
Okay, all of a sudden my handswere like hot, intuitively, my
body's like put your hands onyour lower stomach, right, cause
I was feeling this.
So I put my hands over my lowertummy and the heat energy was
going into my body and itstarted working its way up right

(11:35):
.
So this feeling that was lowertummy, intestinal, started like
slowly working its way up rightAnd I could feel it and I could,
I was visualizing it almost asit was happening, as this dark
energy that was just like thisstuck energy, it starts working
its way up and I have my handson my tummy and I slowly move my
hands up toward the next, youknow, shocker point where I

(11:56):
could feel it coming up and itwas coming up and it was taking
like it probably took like 15minutes for this full thing to
happen, or maybe about 20.
So I'm making it sound fasterthan it was but, it was a slow
burn.
I knew I was purging somethingAnd so, as it started to work up
into my heart chakra, like itstarted to get heavy on my chest
and a little bit like youcouldn't breathe, a little bit

(12:18):
just, but not in a scary way,but just, you know it was moving
up And the part where it gotmost intense was so she would
walk around too and we each hada bowl next to us and it was
funny because I didn't knowwhich bowl I was sitting next to
.
We all just chose our spots andI was sitting next to the
grounding one, the root chakra, which I've, you know, need a lot
of in my life because I'm veryair energy.

(12:40):
So she would come around and, like you know, between each
person and kind of do the bowls, and so, as she was coming
towards me, that's when itreally started to get up into
the chest area And I felt like Iwas going to cough and I was
like, please, please, i do notwant to ruin these people's
sound bath.
You just picture everybodybeing disturbed.
I'm like fighting this coughand I'm like fuck.

(13:01):
You know, if you've ever been inschool or a place where you
can't cough, it's that tickling,itching And it's like burning,
And so I'm holding it.
She's walking towards me, it'sgetting stronger and stronger.
She's coming over to my bowland she's kneeling down and
she's on the bowl and it startscoming and I'm like swallowing.
I'm like I'm trying to swallowit down because it's coming up.

Speaker 2 (13:20):
I'm trying to stuff it down.

Speaker 1 (13:21):
I'm stuffing the cough down by swallowing, and
I'm just like I keep swallowing, and swallowing, and swallowing,
and then it starts to come upin the throat So it moves out of
the lungs.
That God, i did not cough.

Speaker 2 (13:32):
My God, but it was.

Speaker 1 (13:34):
It was like I was trying to choke this thing down
and it came up into my throatand then it was like all hot and
heavy And then it slowly feltmoved into my head, up into my
third eye, and it was reallyheavy in my crown for a long
time, like it sat at the top ofmy head And I was just imagining
like the you know, the darkcloud like coming out of the top

(13:56):
, like just like in a littlestream And you know, after a few
minutes of that and breathingand stuff, it finally went away.
I will say like after it Istill felt a little headsy for a
few hours And she said thesound healing can last up to 72
hours, like the effects of it.
But yeah, that was my experiencefully.

(14:18):
like I just purged this, Idon't know what it was.
I mean, i assume that over thenext, you know, a few weeks and
months I'll probably realizewhat I purged out, but it was
crazy.

Speaker 2 (14:29):
Did you talk to her about it?

Speaker 1 (14:30):
No, i no, I didn't, i was nervous, i was nervous, but
you know, maybe if we have heron, she could tell me more about
, like, what that was, or youknow, definitely, like when I
was tapping in, intuitively itwas, it was definitely like.
You know, don't worry, this isthis.
You know, we're purging thisenergy from your body, right,

(14:51):
and I think that's the fact thatit came from my lower tummy and
it just like came out.
It was so, so interesting, yeah, wow, Very intense, and I
highly recommend it because itwas like a beautiful, a
beautiful experience.

Speaker 2 (15:03):
Yeah, and I feel like anytime you can really feel
that shift in your body, it's,it's a magnified Yes, You know
it really is.

Speaker 1 (15:14):
That's good stuff, so , yeah, so she was great, i
think, yeah, we would love tohave you on, sam, and you could
help explain what all this isand sound healing and all of
that to our audience.

Speaker 2 (15:26):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (15:27):
And, yeah, it was beautiful.
Kyle had had a great experienceas well.
I mean, he saw some colors anddefinitely felt in a different
realm Kyle has.
He has challenges visualizingbut he meditates and he has
meditated.
He doesn't do it as frequentlyas I do, but he was definitely
tapped in as well and trulyenjoyed the experience.
So overall it was great.

(15:48):
Yeah, it's highly recommend, but these are just.
This is like invest in yourself, go to these beautiful
experiences.
You know you can do soundhealing on there's YouTube's
there's.
You know you can get a cheaperheadphones and get some sound
healing in some meditation.

Speaker 2 (16:05):
Yeah well, and trust your own self.
You can pace it, it's not adeal Like.
it doesn't have to bestructured.
You know it's great if it is,if you have someone who knows
what they're doing, aninstructor like what you and I
have.

Speaker 1 (16:18):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (16:19):
You know.
But if you are just trying todip your toe and it's okay to
just explore a little bit andyou know, see what comes up,
yeah, that sort of made me thinkof when we did the Meditation
at Kristen's house in the studio.

Speaker 1 (16:29):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (16:29):
And it was very much like all of the energy from like
one limb at a time and you'refusing all this energy into your
spine and then you werereleasing it all and it was like
all about, like what you need, and I was pulling the energy
you're supposed to like, pullfrom your fingertips, like
through your wrist, through yourforearm, through your elbow,
and my energy got stuck.

Speaker 1 (16:49):
Oh yeah.

Speaker 2 (16:49):
And I was like go like you, follow the path like
it was so stuck and had tototally relax, yeah, and totally
let go of trying to force it tohappen.
And finally it's like I felt mybody literally kind of click,
yeah, and then it flowed all theway up my arm, into my shoulder

(17:10):
, into my spine And I was likeman, i wonder what like energy
your elbow holds.

Speaker 1 (17:16):
Yeah, I was like what's stuck there?

Speaker 2 (17:18):
I?
you know I tried, but I got toreach out to like.
Gwen or someone who knows likewhat they're talking about.

Speaker 1 (17:22):
Oh, yeah, that would be great.
Yeah, reach out to her So thathappy hour.
We're always bringing you somepractices, we're trying people
to recommend all that fun stuff.
And I wanted to share one morething Just.
It's a place where we alsoshare, like manifestation
stories from us, our audience, our friends, people who

(17:43):
obviously give us the approvalto share, and so this one this
happened a while ago, but I just, for some reason, really think
it needs to be shared, because Ido get a lot of questions about
like well, why don't mymanifestations happen?
Like you know, i really wantedthis thing and I totally
believed it and I saw it andthis and that, and it didn't
happen.
So it's what the fuck you know?

Speaker 2 (18:04):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (18:05):
And the answer is really, sometimes you do not
know what the universe has instore for you.
You might want all of thesethings, and that's where we've
talked a lot about trust andsurrender, and so this story is
going to highlight for you thatin a very, in a big way, but

(18:25):
you're not always going to getto know this.
So the example is I had afriend and she said I can share
the story.
She was manifesting a newapartment, a new home like a
condo in downtown and gorgeous,right.
So she was manifesting it andshe found this one and she'd
sent me pictures and was like,oh my God, this, i love this one

(18:46):
, it's great, she's a tour.
You know, she loved it, yeah.
And a few days later she foundout she didn't get it right.
Well, a few more weeks go by,she ends up getting a different
place that she totally loves, right, she finds this other
place.
She will tell you like it's.
I went, i visited it, it'sgorgeous magical.
So her.
But a few weeks after she'dgotten this new place that ended

(19:10):
up being better for her shefound out that that the one the
initial one that she wanted hadcaught fire.
So it was on the news.
It had caught fire and peoplehad to be a fire and people had
to be evacuated and there's firedamage and all of that.
So, being your manifestations,i was telling her I'm like that
is like a literal, like younever, you never get to clearly

(19:32):
see why something didn't workout.
You know you don't.

Speaker 2 (19:34):
You don't ever get to know that, you don't always get
to see the apartment on fire.

Speaker 1 (19:38):
Yes, You don't get to see the apartment on fire, yeah
, and to see it and go.
Thank you, universe, for notgiving me that apartment.

Speaker 2 (19:46):
Yes, right, yes, yes.

Speaker 1 (19:49):
So if you can learn to let go and just trust that,
whatever reason thatmanifestation did not come to
you, yes don't blame it on theprocess, don't blame it on it
doesn't work.
Just know, like that's part ofmanifesting, yeah, letting go,
releasing, trusting Being inflow.

Speaker 2 (20:11):
Yeah, I think that everyone can think of something
that they've been reallygrateful They didn't get that
they thought they wanted.
Yeah, some makes sense Yeaheveryone, at some point or
another, has been like God, ifonly I had this one thing,
didn't get it super bummed atthe time, and then realize like,
oh god, i'm glad that didn'thappen.
Can you imagine?
Yeah if what I thought I wantedso bad.

(20:32):
I would have had that thing, itwould have wrecked this,
whatever, and so, knowing that'sAlways the case, even when you
don't see it, even when youdon't see on the news the
apartments on fire, you have toknow that, like if it's not
meant for me, it's not coming tome.
Yeah plain and simple, and whenyou let go of that belief of

(20:53):
like I need it, proof that itwasn't meant for me, for me Yeah
.
I need proof that I, you know, didn't actually want what I
thought I wanted.
Let go of that idea.
You can open your mind up tosuch bigger opportunities and
just trust like what's meant forme is coming to me and I will

(21:15):
always have exactly what I need.
I am exactly where I'm supposedto be.
Yeah, like that's for me,that's a lesson.
And also I, this one alwaysgets me and people like am I
manifesting wrong?

Speaker 1 (21:26):
am.

Speaker 2 (21:26):
I doing it wrong.

Speaker 1 (21:28):
Mm-hmm.

Speaker 2 (21:28):
And my answer always is you can't.
You can't manifest wrong, youcan't meditate wrong, you can't
create wrong.
Yeah, it's, it's alwayshappening All the time.
You're not, you're not a,you're not switching it on and
off, be, you're not doingsomething wrong to create some
other manifestation.
If you're in flow and you'realways like really trusting the

(21:50):
universe and kind of letting goof the idea that you have to
Like control the outcome, thenIt's always going to be right
for you.
Like you had said a long timeago, you're never gonna be right
for the wrong opportunity.
Yeah, that's, that's the beliefthat you need to carry when,
when the thing that you thinkyou want Doesn't happen, doesn't
come to you.
You have to remember that ifit's right for you, it will.

(22:11):
Yes, plain and simple.
Yes, it's not difficult, it'snot.
It's the Jello, yeah, episodeone green, fucking Jello man
green.

Speaker 1 (22:19):
Jello Squeeze it too hard.

Speaker 2 (22:20):
It's slipping right through your fingers.
Don't do it, just let it go.

Speaker 1 (22:24):
Let it go.
Yeah, it's not easy, we getthat, but of course So.
anyways, that wraps up happyhours kind of a mishmash.

Speaker 2 (22:31):
Yeah, but I like that's a happy hour.

Speaker 1 (22:33):
Is bitches, yeah, sober happy hour.

Speaker 2 (22:35):
Yeah, touching on all the things.
You.
