Thunder Lily is a Nashville-based musician by way of Toledo, Ohio who continues to grow as an artist with each release. Since 2015, Thunder Lily's musical palate has included songs with elements of 80's, Dream Pop, Electro Pop, Synth Pop, Indie Pop, Alternative, and Folk. His recent tours have included opening for Delta Rae and Pip The Pansy.
On October 2nd, Thunder Lily released his latest LP entitled Voyager. The 11-track album is a heartfelt journey for listeners that showcases Thunder Lily's versatility and continued exploration as a songwriter. The album ranges from the more somber tone of "Running On Air," to the uplifting vibe of "All Will Be Well," to the moving "Time Friends" with his wife and Delta Rae co-creator Brittany Hölljes.
On this episode, Thunder Lily talks with Mike about what life has been like since the last time they chatted in 2021, including meeting and falling in love with Brittany, getting married, becoming a father, touring with Delta Rae, his continued curiosity and exploration as a musician and songwriter with Voyager, and more.
