About Darcy Olsen Children's rights activist Darcy Olsen, who founded the Center for the Rights of Abused Children in 2017 and serves as its CEO, has dedicated her life to advancing the rights of abandoned and abused children. Darcy holds a master's degree from New York University and graduated from the Georgetown University School of Foreign Service. She received the Adoption Excellence Award from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services in 2020 in recognition of her contribution to the adoption of children who were on the waiting list throughout the pandemic. She was also recognized as a Leader of the Year in 2022 by the Arizona Capitol Times for her significant contribution to raising children's quality of life. Prior to the Center for the Rights of Abused Children, Darcy served as the CEO of the Goldwater Institute. Likewise, she received the Bradley Prize in 2014 as a reward from the Lynde and Harry Bradley Foundation for her efforts defending constitutional rights.
