Welcome back to the podcast.
Today I wanted to talk a littlebit about why investing in your
SEO can pay off for yourbusiness.
Why maybe continuing to try toDIY this and figure it out just
based on resources like thispodcast and the free trainings

and stuff.
Isn't the best solution for youif you really truly want to
grow.
So I talked to some of mystudents and clients recently
and asked them.
Why they had decided to joinSimple SEO content, and more
importantly than that, what theyhad gotten out of it, how it had

helped them to really grow theirbusinesses.
Most of them said they joinedbecause they had kind of gotten
to a point, maybe like you have,where they had learned quite a
bit.
They had been trying to do it ontheir own for a while.
They were starting to see someresults, but they didn't quite
understand what they wereseeing, and in many cases, they

thought they were doing great.
And then found out once theyjoined that they had actually
made a few mistakes.
They had gotten a few thingswrong.
They needed some more guide,leadership, mentorship, et
cetera, to really understandexactly what they were doing.
So some of them had hit thatpoint.
Another student said sherealized that.

She probably had learnedeverything she could learn on
her own.
She was starting to get someresults, but she also realized
that she didn't know what shedidn't know yet.
She knew there had to be quite abit more and she didn't know
what it was.
And so she figured she had hadsome results on her own.
She was ready then to invest andlearn and really get more

results.
And I can tell you she's gottena lot more results.
She and I were talking fivemonths in, she's gotten 81 new
clients from her SEO work.
She's getting leads from chat,GPT and from.
Traditional Google perplexity,AI overviews, et cetera.
So what she's been doing hasmade a big difference for her

business.
She's actually made over$27,000in those five months just from
her new patients who came infrom her SEO work.
So it really can make a bigdifference.
So then we talked a little bitabout like how it's helped them
and why it's made a difference.
And they said part of it wasjust having access to somebody

to answer the questions, savethem so much time, and they saw
that as business owners.
Their time was worth money.
And your time is worth moneytoo, because if you think about
it, the amount of time thatyou're spending trying to
piecemeal this and figure it outon your own versus the amount of
money it costs to enroll in aprogram like Simple SEO content,

if you can get just a couple ofclients, depending on what you
do, depending on what you sell,if you can get just a handful of
clients, you can probably.
Earn the money to pay back thecost of the training fairly
quickly.
From there, everything else thatyou make is then going to be
yours to keep forever becauseyou're not having to pay for

ads.
So that's something I reallywant you to start to think about
is it's an investment in yourbusiness, but it's not an
investment that is just a sunkcost.
It's an investment that when youmake that investment.
And then you do what you'retaught.
You use the accountability andthe structure of the program to
really help you grow and learn.

You have a potential to earnback significant amounts of
money many more times over thanwhat you've had to invest.
So a simple SEO content is 1497for a six month cohort program.
It's really a very minimal costwhen you think about it.
The students that I've talkedto.

We're okay with sharing, like,you know where they're at.
One of them has made 13,500 inthe first quarter.
The other one we talked abouthad made 27,000 in five months,
and a third has made over150,000 from just one revenue
line, and that's her one-on-onecoaching in 14 months.

So in just over a year, allthree of them.
I have invested to learn andreally seen exponential growth.
I earn thousands every monthfrom my SEO work, and so I know
that it's possible.
The other thing that we talkedabout is just how it makes it

easier for them to get the workdone because they know there's
this timeframe.
I have access to Rachel for sixmonths.
I have access to Rachel, youknow.
We're doing the implementation.
It's 12 weeks of implementation,and honestly, it's not gonna
take you the full 12 weeks to dothe implementation by the end of
the 12 week period.
You've also learned how to startbatching your content, so you're

ready to do that on an ongoingbasis.
So that each month you can batchyour content and stay ahead and
not have to worry about it.
So the actual implementation isgonna take you about eight weeks
and that's going to get youthrough making sure that your
website is SEO friendly.
So we've got everything that youneed on there for Google to like

you.
And for AI search to like you,so we're gonna make sure you've
got the right keywords.
We're gonna make sure you'vewritten the right title tags and
meta descriptions.
You've got the right copy,you're using the right keywords
there.
I said keywords, but keywordsare really important and they're
generally where you're makingyour mistakes when you're doing
this on your own.
We're gonna make sure thatyou've got all of that.
I'm gonna look at it with youbecause that's part of the

beauty of being in that program,is you also have content
reviews.
So you have a chance for me tocome look at it and give you a
thumbs up or help you adjust itand say, you know what?
We need to do this slightlydifferently in order to get
better results.
Then you're gonna learn how todo your tracking from a metric
standpoint, what matters, whatyou should be reporting on so

that you can start to see, oh,okay, my traffic is down, my
traffic is up.
My leads are up.
I'm getting this many leads frommy SEO, I'm getting, I'm making
this much money.
And then we get to celebrate.
So you go through that 12 weekperiod where you're really
working on it, you're optimizingyour website.
Then you are starting to createyour blog posts and you're

learning how to adjust them sothat you're writing for both AI
and Google traditional SEO, butyou're more importantly writing
for your ideal customer.
And so there's some nuancethere.
So I teach you how to do thatand how to, you know.
Keep the search engines happy,but also right for your
customer.
There's a lot going on in theSEO world, more than I've seen,

honestly in about 15 years.
So it's a time where if you'vebeen trying to DIY this
yourself, I really wannaencourage you.

Your time is worth money.
Think about how much you chargeper hour, how much you make per

hour, rather than spending hourstrying to figure this out on
your own.
Come spend about an hour a weekwith me, learn how to do this

should know is that sometimesthat's the perfect time to focus
on your business.
She said she had just renewedher web domain for two years and

she was like, you know what?
My traffic is down.
I've got issues with my site.
I'm not making any money on it.
But I just paid for my domainfor the next two years.
So why in the world wouldn't Ido this now?
Like it seems like the perfecttime to address it, figure it
out, lay the foundation to startmaking money again.
So I just want you to understandlike if you're brand new.

You have no background.
You've never done this before.
You feel a little overwhelmed.
It's okay.
I'm gonna come here.
I'm gonna help you.
I'm gonna answer your questions.
You're going to learn how to dothis faster and easier than if
you try to figure it outyourself.
The other thing that you have tobe careful of.
Is there are a lot of people outthere who are offering advice,

offering guidance, teaching SEO,who really don't know what
they're doing.
They really don't have theexperience, the expertise.
They're teaching things that youshould not be doing because.
They've cheated the system andthey've gotten some results, but
the reality is those who cheatthe system and get results will
be penalized by Google and by AIsearch fairly quickly.

I've seen it happen over thecourse of my career.
Many times, if people are usingcheater tactics, they will be
part of the next algorithmupdate.
Generally, they work really hardto maintain the.
Really the tr, the consistencyin the search results, but also
the integrity.

They don't want poor results inthere.
So that's part of what I helpyou with is making sure that you
understand how to stay on Googleand now chat, GPT and
perplexity, how to stay on theirgood side, how to be one of the
websites that they want to showto people, because that's really
what's important.
The only way your business isgoing to continue to.

Thrive in the online marketingworld is if you master search
engine optimization and now ai,SEO or GEO, depending on what
people call it, we can't as anindustry yet really decide what
it is.
We don't like GEO generativeengine optimization, but that
seems to be what some people aresaying.
The reality is, if you want tobe.

Visible online.
You need to do this and the bestway to do this is to work with
someone who can teach you.

I have students that areearning.
A four or five and$12,000 amonth more than they were this
time last year because of theSEO work that they're doing.
Like I talked about, I have onewho's earned 13,500 in just one

Just leads from one quarter thatwill grow exponentially.
I have another who's earned27,000 in the last five months.
That's a little over.
$5,000 a month that she'searning from her organic
traffic.
And I have another one.
And that has earned over$150,000in the last year, actually in 14

So just over a year from justher one-on-one coaching, not
