Στο πλαίσιο της δουλειάς μου, συχνά συναναστρέφομαι —και σε αρκετές περιπτώσεις συμβουλεύω— ανθρώπους που ξεκινούν τις δικές τους startup. Υπάρχουν δύο χαρακτηριστικά που τους διακρίνουν σχεδόν πάντα: ένας αφοπλιστικός ενθουσιασμός για το project τους και η ακλόνητη βεβαιότητα ότι έχουν ανακαλύψει το επόμενο μεγάλο πράγμα.
Οι περισσότεροι founders μπορούν να αναλύουν επί ώρες την ιδέα τους — αν τους αφήσεις, ο καφές θα γίνει δείπνο και το δείπνο ίσως καταλήξει σε μεταμεσονύκτια συζήτηση με… πατσά. Είναι σίγουροι ότι έχουν “κλειδώσει” την αγορά, ότι έχουν σκεφτεί όλες τις πιθανές γωνίες του προϊόντος ή της υπηρεσίας τους και νιώθουν απόλυτα προετοιμασμένοι.
