- Manny was honored as Legatus' Officer of the Year in 2011 for his service to the Orange Coast Chapter and his passion for the Legatus mission. Manny's leadership skills were evident in his service in the U.S. Army in the Vietnam War for which he was awarded the Bronze Star for Valor and the Purple Heart for wounds received in combat as a member of the 25th Infantry Division's 3rd Squadron, 4th Armored Cavalry Regiment in South Vietnam. He now serves as Regional Director of the West Region for Legatus.
