This episode is part one to a three-part series on Charles Bettleheim's Class Struggles in the USSR, First Period: 1917-1923.  Check out the summary of each section of this book on our Mass Struggle patreon for free.

Part One discusses the class contradictions of Russia on the eve of 1917, socialism as a period of transition and continued class struggle between capitalism and communism, and the role of the Maoist party, the proletariat, and the masses in revolutionary struggle.

You can find the pdf here, but this is one of the only volumes you can still find in paperback.
