There is a session to look atthis particular project in a
council meeting and the bylawsand the amendments and the
municipal planning had to bereviewed to ensure that the
potential project to build a 10to 12 story mass timber

The principal reason forsupporting the mayor's motion

concrete to reduce the carbonfootprint of its infrastructure.
The decision targets the highemissions tied to the building
materials.
As meta expands its data centerinfrastructure and ai cloud
(03:44):
systems, material choice nowbecomes a priority.
The company's firstadministrative structure using
mass timber is already completein South Carolina, with another
one underway in Alabama.
The material offers potentialto reduce around 40% of embodied

And we have an article on ourLinkedIn feed that looks at
prefab profiles, which is anongoing series of interviews

clients by streamlined designprocess, which led to a
collaboration in manufacturingwith crossland brazil on a
prefab building system calledmodular bv, which allows buyers
to configure the home andindividual units with less than
300 square feet in each area.
(04:51):
The the first prefab systemusing these modules is a single
level residence built fromengineered timber products, and
it's commonly designed in thearea with six modules, and we
have some great shots of theunits that you can see on our
LinkedIn feed.

of challenging and incorporatingmass timber in place of
traditional materials.
The initial funding would beawarded for up to five building
design teams to develop masstimber building designs, in

implementation and thetransition from concrete and
more traditional materials which, using mass timber, would help
the city's efforts in reducingits carbon emissions by an
