Let's have a look at what'smaking news around the world
this week in Mass TimberConstruction Land and the
record-breaking apartment toweris under construction in

The neutral Edison will be thetallest Mass Timber building in
the Western Hemisphere, to becompleted in 2027.
Story building at 1005 northaddison street will include 353
high-end apartments and loadsenvironmentally friendly
features numerous to mention.

Once it's complete it willeclipse the height of the
current record holder, which isthe 25 story ascent building

lease for Zug Timber SolutionsZTS to build and operate new
mass timber modular factory inthe Port's mass timber and
housing innovation campus atTerminal 2.
Zts is an anchor tenant at thecampus where the port is
transforming a former marineterminal into Portland's

The campus, according to theport, will support Oregon's
growing mass timber industry,create new jobs, small business
opportunities.
The port has approved along-term lease for ZTS and ZTS
will make sure that there is acontribution to the local

A project will be one of theworld's tallest hybrid timber
towers, delivering 351build-to-rent apartment studios,
one and two bedroom apartmentsand 64 short stay accommodation
units.

residential model that Perth hasset a new standard for with
high quality living.
The project prioritisesaspirational living, encouraging
greater interaction amongresidents.
