The spiritual journey of ascension is often clouded by fear – fear of changing beyond recognition, losing our sense of self, or becoming detached from reality. In this deeply personal season finale, I shine light on what the ascension process truly means and why these fears only prevent us from discovering our authentic selves.

At its heart, ascension is about reconnecting with our divine self – that part of us existing beyond time and space, free from religious or political constraints. When trapped in 3D human consciousness (dominated by ego, anger, and fear), we cannot hear the wisdom of this higher self. The journey involves shifting to 4D consciousness through grounding and centering, before ultimately experiencing the unconditional love and oneness of 5D consciousness.

I walk through seven approaches to ascension, including self-realization (discovering who we truly are), purification (shedding limiting beliefs and patterns), and perspective shifts that develop empathy and interconnectedness. These transformations aren't merely surface changes but represent fundamental rewiring of neural pathways, requiring consistent practice over 28-30 days to form new habits of thinking and being.

Most powerfully, I share my personal experience with psychedelics as a tool for spiritual growth – how a carefully guided experience with psilocybin mushrooms helped me break through unconscious fears around marriage rooted in generational trauma. This profound healing inspired my decision to become a psilocybin facilitator to help others access similar breakthroughs.

Speaker 1 (00:03):
Hello everyone, this is your host, keri Logan, at
Master, the Upper Rooms of HumanConsciousness.
This will be my last podcastfor Season 1 and therefore I
want to shine a light andinsight into the Ascension
process, because everyone hasdifferent views and opinions.

(00:25):
The truth is, not everyone willbe called at this time to
experience the ascension process, because some are not willing
to evolve consciously, and thatis okay.
Some people fear that they willchange to a point where they no
longer recognize themselves, orothers think one would become a

(00:47):
flower picking hippie runningbarefoot through a meadow
without a care in the world.
So many mixed ideas, beliefsand concepts only generate more
fearful thoughts.
This fear will stop anyone intheir tracks from truly
discovering who and what theyare.
So today I want to dispel thesefearful thoughts and roadblocks

(01:13):
to finding true happiness, bliss and joy.
If you google what is theascension process, you will find
information referring tovarious spiritual traditions.
Some refer to the ascensionprocess as a journey of
self-realization, purificationor being reborn and developing

(01:39):
with practice, an alignment withyour higher self.
Practice, an alignment withyour higher self, a higher
spiritual principle, energy orvibration.
Over the years, people haveused meditation, prayer,
breathing techniques, yoga andeven service to others.
Yet learning to master theupper rooms of human

(02:09):
consciousness is exactly whateveryone does to achieve the
ascension process.
So today I want to unpack theascension process journey.
Everyone has a divine self thatoperates beyond time and space.
Your divine self knows itselfas innocent and does not hold
obligations.
It has no religion, politics orindoctrination.

(02:33):
It is cut from the same clothas our creator or, as some might
say, I am of God.
Some people call this your soulor spirit.
A doctor experimented and whena person dies, their body weighs
20 grams less.
It has not been proven byscience, but I believe that it

(02:58):
is the weight of your soul, leaving the body Only 21 grams.
Therefore, we have a divineself, slash soul and the vessel
we occupy.
Your divine self is here onearth to learn because life
experiences are our teacher andeveryone here is a student and

(03:22):
teacher for one another.
Our divine self is in directcommunication and contact with
our creator.
The problem is that whensomeone is stuck in 3D human
consciousness, the divine selfcannot communicate or give us
sound advice.
Only the ego, pain, body orhostile inner critic can speak

(03:51):
to us when we are stuck in arigid 3D mindset.
That is why I tell people tocalm down and get grounded and
centered, which is 4D, humanconsciousness.
Nobody can make a favorable, rational decision from a place
of hate, anger and fear.
That is why I say one must getout of one's ego and into one's

(04:14):
heart.
They are two separate operatingsystems that control and
influence our lives.
So think of it as two separatehalves of a whole.
We have our divine self andthis ball of mental energy that
creates human consciousnesswithin the vessel we occupy.

(04:36):
Our primary purpose is tobecome whole again, to form that
mind, body and spiritconnection again.
To form that mind, body andspirit connection.
Something magical can happenwhen a person starts to examine
their life choices, beliefs, cultural or religions, do's and
don'ts.

(04:56):
This form of self-reflection ispart of the ascension process.
Who am I is part of theascension process.
Who am I?
Why am I here?
What is my life purpose?
When we discover what truth isfor ourselves, our personality

(05:16):
can change.
A person can go from beingangry all the time to being calm
and peaceful.
This transition from 3D into 4Dis about going within,
reflecting upon what has createdor caused one to become angry
and how to discover liberationfrom within.

(05:37):
I like to call itself-expression from anger into
peace.
It is learning to understandyourself without the rules or
edicts of the structures ofpersonality, country, family,
obligations and limitations.
So what is happening is thisangry person is making the

(06:01):
choice and the key word ischoice the choice to shift and
move into alignment thatsupports an idea of expression
which aligns with peace insteadof anger.
Maintaining this new way ofthinking, acting and behaving is

(06:21):
key.
It takes 28 to 30 days tocreate a new habit way of
thinking, acting and behaving.
You want to embody, embrace andbecome this new, happier,
confident person.
You do not want to test driveit, you want to become it.

(06:43):
Think of it as a new operatingsystem being installed.
New neural pathways within thebrain are being formed and
outdated neural pathways arebeginning to disconnect and
weaken from within.
For more clinical evidence aboutthe power of our thoughts and

(07:05):
emotions have over our physicalwell-being, read or listen to
the book the Secret Language ofyour Body the Essential Guide to
Health and Wellness, and howthose illnesses are associated

(07:32):
with our thoughts and emotionswithin the realm of 3D human
consciousness.
We have all heard of the AHAmoments.
Those AHA moments are likerevelations.
A new beginning has beenrevealed to you.
When one operates from theupper rooms of human
consciousness, one moves into astate of recognition of what is
only in truth.

(07:53):
Instead of listening to lies orthe angry ego, there can be
wisdom, understanding,compassion, patience and
acceptance.
And yes, at times the truth cansting a little.
It is as if one can now see thethorn stuck in their side and

(08:16):
they are in a position to viewthat thorn as a valuable life
lesson or teacher.
They no longer beat themselvesup mentally but can have
compassion and grace forthemselves and others.
So let's break down the stepsor give a more detailed
explanation of the ascensionprocess.

(08:39):
The ascension process has sevendifferent approaches or methods.
Some might explore theascension process has seven
different approaches or methods.
Some might explore theascension process for spiritual
growth and the evolution ofbecoming whole.
Again, ascension is oftenviewed as a process or journey
of spiritual growth and theevolution of oneness.

(09:01):
One becomes one with theirdivine self and our creator.
This is when a person moves orshifts towards a higher state of
consciousness.
An understanding of themselves, their life journey in general
and their knowledge of onenessslash connection with all

(09:24):
instead of separation.
Then there is self-realization.
Life is our teacher.
We are all students andteachers.
Everyone has had good and badlife life experiences.
I no longer view life as bad oreven good, because some of

(09:48):
those horrible life moments weremy most significant moments to
go within, learn and set myselffree.
I discovered generationaltrauma stories and memories from
my childhood.
That's why everyone's journeyis unique.
Nobody has the same lifeexperiences.

(10:10):
We might have similar lifeexperiences, but our childhood
experiences hold many valuablegems of wisdom and liberation
which can be hidden from us.
Wisdom and liberation which canbe hidden from us.
That is why going within is key.
You are holding a flashlightinto the darkness and

(10:32):
discovering why you took someonepersonally.
Why does one hate or dislikeanother person?
Who do they remind you of fromyour past?
Who do they remind you of fromyour past?
Therefore, self-realizationinvolves a deep exploration of
the self.
This deep exploration can leadto great self-awareness of one's

(10:57):
true nature and purpose.
For example, what if yourparents want you to take over
the family business and yourheart pulls you in another
direction?
Will you relinquish yourheart's hopes and dreams to
please another person?
Can your parents love youunconditionally if you refuse to

(11:19):
not take over the familybusiness?
This is your life, which shouldbe a life you love, instead of
obligations and unhappiness.
We have all heard stories ofpeople realizing that they were
gay.
This is another form ofself-realization.

(11:43):
Others can recognize that theyare empaths, mediums, intuitives
or have the ability to channelhigher dimensional beings.
Some have the self-realizationthat their divine self, spirit,
guides or angels arecommunicating with them or have
been communicating with them foryears.

(12:04):
They did not know it until theyexperienced self-realization.
Over the years, I have learneda mantra that has saved my
sanity and supports me, and nolonger attaching or taking
something personally when Iexperience chaos, or taking
something personally when Iexperience chaos, I say to

(12:25):
myself or out loud this is onlytemporary, this is only
temporary, this is onlytemporary.
I repeat that saying until Ifeel a sense of relief within my
body.
Then I say this is onlytemporary and something good

(12:51):
will come from this experience.
I do not know what it is now,but I know there is a lesson to
learn here.
Something good will come fromthis.
Then, when I was listening toEckhart Tolle's audiobook A New
Earth Awakening to your Life'sPurpose, he shared a similar

(13:12):
story.
His mantra is this too, shallpass.
I loved it because when wecling or attach meaning to a
horrible situation.
We get stuck in 3D humanconsciousness thoughts, actions,
beliefs and behaviors.
We can start to find faults inanyone and anything.

(13:35):
Blame is on ourselves for anerror of judgment, not a mistake
.
We can even blame God.
Can you comprehend why stayingneutral to life experiences is
essential?
Another one of my friends has amantra it is what it is.

(13:57):
This helps her not to attach toany outcomes or expectations.
Therefore, there is no good orbad, just what is Another part
of the ascension process ispurification and transformation.
Learning to master the upperrooms of human consciousness

(14:17):
supports this process becauseone is learning to find where
they are stuck in 3D humanconsciousness and shed the
negative ways of thinking.
You shed the patterns, thebeliefs, the actions and
behaviors limiting or preventingtheir spiritual growth.
The best example is my friendwho was stuck in regret and

(14:41):
could not see the gift ofunconditional love and his
connection with God.
If he did not have his lifeexperience with his ex-wife, his
relationship with God wouldmost likely be superficial.
Now he is one with his creatorand cherishes it.
Yet he was stuck in the mindsetof regret instead of gratitude.

(15:05):
I was able to support him inseeing the blessings in his
painful relationship with hisex-wife.
So let's unpack thispurification and transformation
process.
The best example I can give youis my friend.
Again, he was stuck at thehuman consciousness level of 30

(15:28):
and after our conversation hebecame aligned with
unconditional love whichvibrates at the frequency level
of 500.
To own this traumatic shift inhuman consciousness he must
undergo a purification andtransformation process.
He sheds the painful past.

(15:51):
He releases his attachments tothe stories and memories.
He clears his pain body of allthe 3D thought patterns,
behaviors, beliefs and attitudes.
Peace must be made with whatwas and what is.
This process of detachmentfrees his mind, heart, soul and

(16:16):
emotions.
He is transforming from the old3D perspective into 5D.
It is like a snake shedding itsskin.
It outgrows the old pain bodyand lets it go.
When he knows he is complete inhis purification and

(16:37):
transformation process, he canrecall those painful memories
and stories and no longer feelsadness, regret, heartache or
this salvation attitude towardshis ex-wife.
He will realizeself-realization here, that
those memories and storiessupported him in discovering his

(17:00):
divine self.
He will smile and feelgratitude.
The memories and stories nolonger haunt his dreams or his
daily existence.
The next step or practice can bemeditation, breathwork, yoga or
prayer.

(17:20):
Meditation, breathwork andprayer are life-changing because
they allow one to align withhigher energies.
The mind becomes quiet andstill.
You step into this vast spaceof nothingness and become one
with it.
It is a fantastic feeling.

(17:42):
This is another part or step inthe ascension process.
When we quiet our mind and goto this space and place of peace
, something magical happens.
It is like a doorway opens upand we can align with higher
spiritual beings, energies andforces.

(18:04):
Our consciousness can connectwith our divine self, the
universe and the creator.
What is also magical about thissimple practices is that the
mind becomes silent.
For some, this seems impossible.
The mind is constantlychattering and seems to take on

(18:27):
a life of its own, separate fromthe self.
I like to call the voice of thepast, because it is the voice
of the past for me.
I recall working with a clientand she said that her mind would
never stop chattering.
It drove her nuts and made ithard for her to sleep at night.

(18:48):
So I told her that listening toanother voice can teach her
mind to become quiet.
For example, when we watch TVor go to the movies, the mind
becomes quiet.
Correct, the mind is focused onsomething else.
So I advised her that withrepeated practice and patience,

(19:12):
her mind would become quiet.
One day she could learn tobecome self-aware of life
instead of life passing her by.
She could become mindful ofmany different things in life.
A good example is how many ofus are conscious and mindful

(19:34):
when eating.
I mean, we can tell ourselvesthat I will only take one more
bite and before you know it, weare shoveling food into our
mouth.
Then we try to rationalize orjustify the behavior.
I also have practiced mindfuleating when I was starving.
I mean, that's the time toreally practice it.

(19:57):
The first step was to becomeconscious, mindful and aware of
her breath.
She felt her breath moving inand out of her body.
Next, she followed the breathand noticed how it could calm
everything down when used as atool for inner calmness and
peace.
When used as a tool for innercalmness and peace, eventually

(20:21):
she revealed to me that her mindwas much calmer, less stressed
and filled with worry and doubt.
This is a gift she gave herselfand it took practice, practice,
practice.
She got out of fear, whichvibrates at the frequency of 100

(20:41):
, and became satisfied with lifeat 250.
That was purification andtransformation.
The next step in the ascensionprocess is shifting perspectives
.
I do this for my clients andanyone who comes to me with a
story stuck in 3D humanconsciousness.

(21:04):
When one can shift and movetheir perspective out of hate,
anger or fear, it leads to agreater sense of
interconnectedness and empathytowards others.
This is especially importantwhen a narcissistic or toxic

(21:24):
parent raised someone.
I strive for them to findempathy towards that person.
There can be years and years ofbuilt up anger, resentment,
blame, victim mindset and pain.
Most people want them to sufferas deeply as they have, and the

(21:45):
truth is they did.
The person cannot see it orrealize it.
Some do not even want to hearthe truth.
They want them to burn in hell.
Yet if one wants them to burnin hell, the same will happen to
them.
Life will be hell for bothparties.

(22:06):
Are the wheels turning?
Can we be humble towardsourselves and show mercy to all?
This lesson was hard to learnand discover because I did not
grow up in a 4D home.
What helped me shift myperspective about an abusive
family member was to know abouthis childhood.

(22:29):
When I did, I felt pity for him.
It explained why he became whatmany people would call a
monster.
Now I see him as my mostoutstanding teacher and I love
him unconditionally.
Do I want to sit down and havetea with him or hang out?

(22:50):
The answer is no.
My heart and mind and soul arecontent with having no contact
with this person.
I can love him from afar.
The last and most absolutefavorite is experiencing higher
states of consciousness.
It is true that when one beginsto master the upper rooms of

(23:12):
human consciousness, one willexperience moments of
enlightenment, pure bliss andoneness with the universe.
One can experience this higherstate of consciousness by
meditation, visiting placesworldwide that speak to your
soul, or taking something thatwill induce these effects.

(23:35):
It can be like taking Molly orbeing surrounded by a cushion of
unconditional love.
The energy is buzzing with life, joy, peace and connectedness.
It is better than going toDisneyland.
That is why I am happy thatcertain states and countries are
using magic mushrooms tosupport people with anxiety, to

(24:00):
support people with anxiety, depression, ptsd and addictions.
Coming from a mental healthbackground, I believe our
Creator gave us natural tools tohelp people who are stuck or
trapped within their pasttraumas such as psychedelics.
What I will say next mightshock some people, but listen, I

(24:22):
have a personal story to share.
I subscribe to a magazinecalled Reasons, free Minds and
Free Markets.
In the March 2025 issue therewas an article about the strange
case of the immortality keyBrian and I know I can't

(24:42):
pronounce his last name, but ifyou go to the blog post it's
here.
He wrote this fascinating book, the Immortality Key the secret
history of a religion with noname.
Some called it groundbreakingbecause this man dedicated a
huge chunk of his liferesearching the use of

(25:03):
psychedelics to bring peoplecloser to God.
Since I enjoy listening toaudiobooks, I went to audiblecom
and, to my surprise, I alreadyhad that book in my library, but
I never listened to it.
To me that was a sign and therewas, in fact, three signs,
because for Christmas, a friendgave me three grams of magic

(25:27):
mushrooms and those mushroomswere still sitting in my freezer
.
I had to listen to thisaudiobook and, yes, the book is
fantastic.
I highly recommend it.
Even Graham Hancock wroteacknowledgements in the front of
the book.
He admitted that he couldn'thave written his first book,

(25:48):
supernatural, without the aid ofpsychedelics.
I mean, imagine doingpsychedelics in ancient temples
and landmarks around the world.
The spiritual connection andoneness must have been
mind-blowing.
His book is next on my list.
Many of you might be wonderingif I consume the mushrooms or

(26:10):
take mushrooms.
Often, the answer is yes and no.
I was curious and, with mymental health and
trauma-informed background, Iwanted to try it.
I knew it would not kill me andit could be fun.
This would be my first time andsince it would be my first time
, I wanted a support person.

(26:32):
Now, I only took two grams, notthree.
I cut them up and turned theminto a T.
I also set my intention, andthat's so important.
I set my intention to connectwith my higher self and to
discover if there was anything Ineeded to release that was
holding me back in life.

(26:54):
As Brian said in his book, manypeople find the journey on
psychedelics to be in the topfive life experiences.
It was profound.
I saw rays of rainbow colors onthe ceiling even when my eyes
were closed.
My biggest realization was thatI could comprehend why people

(27:17):
are getting profound relief andthat their lives can be
transformed.
So let me explain.
As I looked at the large blackscreen TV, I realized that the
blackness represents all thelevels of consciousness within
3D human consciousness.
My state of mind andconsciousness were at the

(27:41):
highest levels of humanconsciousness.
From this higher state ofconsciousness, I could look down
at all the life experiences andworld events from a detached
perspective.
I was no longer in the thick ofit, but, above it, it was
fascinating for me.

(28:02):
I could clearly comprehend whypsychedelics were used centuries
ago for people to feel thepresence of our Creator Well and
even to connect to their lovedones that passed and died.
When someone is basking inunconditional love, joy and
bliss, this is 5D humanconsciousness.

(28:25):
Here one's painful lifeexperiences can easily be viewed
, analyzed and repaired.
I also received a gift from theexperience and my husband is so
grateful.
Yet he was not thankful I didit when he was out of town.

(28:45):
I knew that if I did it withhim and he was my support person
he might turn a happy trip intoan unhappy trip.
At times he can be like amother hen, full of worry and
concerns.
When someone is under theinfluence of psychedelics, they
are highly suggestible and cantake on the other person's fears

(29:10):
.
So you might be wondering whatwas the gift?
The gift was realizingsomething I had achieved, yet I
had a massive wall around thesubject matter.
What was the subject matter?
It was marriage.
When I was four and a half yearsold, I witnessed my father

(29:32):
almost kill my mom and this wasnot the first time, but the
second.
So I had a fear about marriage.
I grew up seeing and hearingevery female family member
struggle with various forms ofabuse, and it was because of
their marriage.
This made me afraid of marriage, yet I still wanted to get

(29:57):
married.
How it was displayed to me wasthat my mom was in a worn and
tattered sailboat, trying tostay afloat in a vast, stormy
sea.
The boat was rocking back andforth as the dark clouds loomed
overhead.
The sea represented heremotions.

(30:19):
She had 40 years of deepsadness.
She thought, or believed at thetime when she met my father
that he would make all herdreams come true.
Instead, it was a nightmare.
Then I saw my grandparents inthe same boat and next was my

(30:39):
great-grandparents, every one ofthem married, thinking or
believing the same thing.
Then they showed me my marriage.
The water was calm, the sailwas not torn or tattered like
theirs, the sun was shining, theenergy was warm, nurturing and

(31:02):
supportive.
Then the self-realization hit me.
I had this wallop, or feararound marriage that was
unconsciously aware of me frommy life experiences and what I

(31:24):
have witnessed.
It hit me like a ton of bricks, and tears of joy and sadness
streamed down my face.
They were letting me know thatI broke the cycle of domestic
violence and abuse within myfamily's generational timeline.
I no longer needed to beguarded.
That is when I saw the wallcrumbling down.

(31:44):
It no longer served a purpose.
I could trust 250 and enjoy myloving marriage.
The experience was so profoundthat I decided to become a
psilocybin facilitator forOregon, because there are so
many people in need.

(32:05):
Over 3,000 people in Oregonalone are seeking treatment for
their manic depression, ptsd, addictions and other mental
health concerns.
So if anyone is going toretreat and needs to bring along
a facilitator, please think ofme.
It will not be therapy, but ahuman consciousness guide to

(32:34):
support you in putting thepuzzle pieces together when you
integrate the images andmessages from a higher state of
being.
Season 2 will begin in the fall.
Until then, I wish everyonemuch joy, happiness and peace of
