Scott Middleton has been playing guitar and writing music for over 26 years. As a founding member and guitarist of the Toronto-based punk metal band Cancer Bats, he has played a pivotal role in shaping the band's sound and success. In 2003, Scott attended the Toronto Audio Recording Academy with the goal of becoming a producer at a young age. His first recording project after graduation was Cancer Bats' debut release, which quickly secured the band a record deal.
Throughout the band's six studio albums—selling thousands of copies worldwide—Scott contributed as a co-producer and occasional engineer, refining his skills in both songwriting and production. Since 2014, he has dedicated himself to helping other artists elevate their music through his expertise in songwriting, creative production, and a keen ear for tone.
Passionate about crafting impactful heavy records and bringing artists' musical visions to life, Scott has been operating out of his own studio, High Wattage Cottage, since February 2022. Located on the Bay of Quinte, just east of Toronto, this bespoke studio destination provides an inspiring space for artists to create and record.

Boysober
Have you ever wondered what life might be like if you stopped worrying about being wanted, and focused on understanding what you actually want? That was the question Hope Woodard asked herself after a string of situationships inspired her to take a break from sex and dating. She went "boysober," a personal concept that sparked a global movement among women looking to prioritize themselves over men. Now, Hope is looking to expand the ways we explore our relationship to relationships. Taking a bold, unfiltered look into modern love, romance, and self-discovery, Boysober will dive into messy stories about dating, sex, love, friendship, and breaking generational patterns—all with humor, vulnerability, and a fresh perspective.
