The Holy Spirit Today

Many believers know the Holy Spirit lives within them, but few understand the depth of relationship He is inviting them into. Every human being is made of spirit, soul, and body, and when you give your life to Jesus, it is your spirit that is born again. The soul, made up of your mind, will, and intellect, must be renewed by the Word of God before the glory already within your spirit can flow outward into your daily life. This is w...

You are a spirit, you live in a body, and you have a soul made up of your mind, will, and intellect. Your soul functions like a valve, either open in belief or closed in unbelief, and that position determines whether God's power can flow from your spirit into your circumstances. The reason many believers do not experience breakthrough is not a lack of faith, since Romans 12:3 tells us God has given every person a measure of faith. ...

At the moment of salvation, your spirit is completely transformed and made new in Christ. However, many believers continue to struggle because the soul, made up of the mind, will, and intellect, has not yet been renewed. The soul acts like a valve between the spirit and everyday life, and without renewal through the Word of God, the fullness of what God placed in your spirit cannot flow outward. Beyond salvation, there is also a di...

Many believers struggle to see themselves the way God sees them, but understanding your true identity starts with knowing what actually changed when you were born again. You are a spirit, you have a soul, and you live in a body, and each part has a different relationship to salvation. Your spirit was immediately and completely made new the moment you confessed Jesus as Lord. Your soul, however, is transformed over time as the Word ...

Most Christians have never been taught what it truly means to be born again, and that gap in understanding affects everything from daily life to worship. According to Scripture, every person is made up of three parts: spirit, soul, and body. When you are born again, your spirit is completely recreated and made new, but your soul, your mind, will, and emotions, must be intentionally renewed through the Word of God. The well of livin...

God designed every person as a three-part being: spirit, soul, and body. When you are born again, your spirit is completely recreated, but your soul, which includes your mind, will, and emotions, remains unchanged and must be intentionally renewed. This is why many believers still struggle with the same habits and patterns after salvation. The soul is the pivot point between your recreated spirit and your everyday life, and it is t...

The Holy Spirit is not a force or a feeling. He is a person, and He desires a real relationship with every believer. Being born again, as Jesus explained to Nicodemus in John 3, is a spiritual rebirth made possible through faith in Christ and the work of the Holy Spirit. Jesus sent the Holy Spirit as a Comforter and Teacher to guide believers into truth and understanding. Many Christians struggle to hear His voice because noise, di...

Many people call themselves Christians without fully understanding what that identity means. The word 'Christian' literally means 'little Christ,' a name given by unbelievers in Antioch who saw believers doing the very things Jesus had done. Being born again means being born of the Spirit, and with that new birth comes access to everything God has already provided for life and godliness. The problem is not that God is withholding a...

Too many believers are living from the outside in, reacting to circumstances rather than operating from what God has already placed within them. When Jesus faced pressure and accusation, He turned inward to spiritual vision before responding. He explained His own method clearly: He only did what He saw the Father doing. The same principle is available to every born-again believer. The Holy Spirit already lives within you, and He is...

When Jesus fed more than 5,000 people, the disciples responded to the crisis the way most of us do: they took inventory, saw that what they had was nowhere near enough, and concluded it was impossible. Jesus responded differently. He was not governed by the pressure of the situation but by the Spirit within Him. He took the small lunch a young boy offered, blessed it, and handed it back to the disciples. The miracle did not happen ...

Most believers are governed by what they can see, feel, and experience in the natural world. But Jesus modeled a completely different way of living, one that flows from the Spirit outward rather than from circumstances inward. As three-part beings made of spirit, soul, and body, we are called to renew our minds through the Word of God so that our souls become fertile ground for His truth. The condition of our soul is directly tied ...

Most people live life from the outside in, led by their physical senses and emotions rather than by the Spirit within them. But God is Spirit, and true worship flows from the born-again Spirit, not from the physical realm. Just as the Old Testament tabernacle had an outer court, an inner court, and a holy of holies, you are designed the same way. Your body is the outer court, your soul is the inner court, and your Spirit is the hol...

When life gets loud and pressure closes in, most people react out of whatever they have been feeding their minds. The battleground is the soul, and what we consistently input shapes how we respond in crisis. Jesus demonstrated this perfectly in John 8, spending time alone with the Father before stepping into a volatile confrontation with the Pharisees. Rather than reacting to the pressure, He turned inward, listened to the Spirit, ...

Most believers never fully step into the life Jesus modeled, one governed not by what is seen, heard, or felt, but by the unseen reality of God's kingdom. When the disciples failed to cast out a demon in Mark 9, the root issue was not a lack of faith but unbelief operating through the soul, pulling their attention outward toward the chaos around them. Jesus, standing in that same crowd, remained completely unmoved because He had tr...

God has called every believer to live from the inside out, operating from spiritual vision rather than being shaped by the natural world. Everything we need for a godly life has already been provided through His divine power, but many believers never learn how to access what has already been given. True worship is not simply praise. It is an ascent from the natural realm into the presence of the Father, where silence becomes the la...

Most believers know God's promises exist, but walking in them is a different challenge entirely. The struggle is not a lack of desire. It is the result of living from the outside in, governed by the five senses rather than by the Spirit within. The soul is the battleground, and it is transformed only through the planted Word of God and time with the Holy Spirit. True spiritual victory comes not from managing external circumstances ...

Most people instinctively look outward when life gets hard, focusing on the diagnosis, the bank account, or the storm. But true faith is built by training yourself to live from the inside out, fixing your gaze on the eternal Word of God rather than on temporary circumstances. Paul reminds us in 2 Corinthians 4:18 that the things which are seen are temporal, while the things which are not seen are eternal. Like the father in Mark 9 ...

Many believers struggle with sickness, anxiety, and lack not because God has withheld anything, but because the Word of God has not been deeply rooted in their soul. When you gave your life to Christ, your spirit was recreated, but your soul still needs to be renewed through the implanted Word. Strongholds are not demonic forces hovering over cities. They are thought patterns built inside the soul when the enemy's lies are entertai...

Fear and anxiety are not inevitable for the believer. The real battle is not fought in the world around us but within the soul, specifically in the areas of thoughts, imagination, and knowledge. Jesus instructed His followers to look up in times of trouble, a deliberate act of spiritual vision that shifts focus from circumstances to the promises of God. Praying in the Spirit, meditating on the Word, and guarding what we feed our so...
