Not as flawlessly riffed as the regularly numbered episodes, this "bonus" episode features some random thoughts, and then Dane's candid reflections on the situation surrounding the stabbing of Salman Rushdie, including the fact that he had poked fun at the absurd situation of being the subject of a 'fatwa' as recently as 2017. The ep is not journalistic in the least bit, but covers topics such as free speech and the need for sustained self-security in a perpetually insane world, however unfair that may be to the free speakers. We hope Mr. Rushdie survives and recovers to full health.
