This time around, the Mavens sit down to talk with media visionary and producer Daniel Tibbets, the CEO for From the Stairs Media, LLC.             Over two decades into his career, Tibbets has held a variety of major positions in the entertainment industry, including Vice President of Production at Fox, Executive Vice President at GoTV Networks and Chief Content Officer at Machinima. Through this tenure, Tibbets was responsible for developing and selling the critically acclaimed series Rome and writing on the mini-series “Signs and Wonders.” Further, Tibbets is also credited as the creator of the moibsode, a typically 1-3 minute episode of television made specifically for mobile viewing.             With the Mavens, Tibbets talks about the process to get “Rome” greenlit, his process of picking new projects, and the history of how and why mobisodes came to be. “To keep the buffering at a minimum, and get some content, the most we could do was a file size that was 684 kilobytes, and that was one minute of video content compressed” Tibbets said.             Tune in this week to learn “The Power of Story Telling” and what it takes to be among the most creative minds in Hollywood!
