Coronavirus has changed life as we knew . New Zealanders have been relatively spared with low case numbers and deaths over the last 2 years. That changed over the last few weeks as the Omicron variant which has been present globally for a while, made its way down under. Omicron is more contagious but supposedly causes less mortality and morbidity. Here in New Zealand we are just beginning to see a rapid increase in cases .
