Welcome to Meeples and Wine! This week Michael and Suzy play Flock Together from Sea Cow Games, taste La Vieille Ferme Rosé, and test out two new microphones! (Let us know how you think it sounds!) Yes, in this week's game we take on the role of two chickens trying to survive three seasons against the elements and the predators that surround our coop, as Madame Chickovski and Cluckerberry Finn we go claw to toe against such villians as Professor Moleiarty, Chicksune and Cleopoultra!
We also taste La Vieille Ferme Rosé, a fruity light wine for hot days, and attempt a cocktail with it also, with mixed results.
Our Final Call is the Scented Realms Kickstarter, a scent based system to get just a little more depth and immersement to your tabletop games!

the game we are playing is called
flock
together,
which is a board game by.

beautifully immersed cooperative
experience for 1 to 5 players. Yes. You
can play it 2 player.
During the game, each player takes on the
role of a unique chicken with
asymmetric abilities
and works together to drive off the invading
predators before the third season ends.

Every return players choose their own strategy to
progress their cause by selecting 2 of their
8 available.
Along the way, players will also have to
manage leveling up, predator loot drops, traveling gru,
and adverse weather conditions. However, players must plan
carefully because as the seasons change every predator

that is still alive
grows stronger and gains new abilities. So basically
they level up every season. Mh. With 11
asymmetric characters to play and 10 unique predators
to defeat.
Flock together offers immense replay ability that can
be enjoyed with quick turns,
and an experience that lasts 25 minutes per

that is something I found interesting. It wasn't
like it'll be 25 to 90 minutes.
It's 25 minutes every person that's point. You
have a 5 player game, hun down and
get ready because it's gonna take some time.

word that they're using.
I think I know what they mean, but
I've never heard it described in a game.
A, I think in this case, asymmetrical u
for me usually means that people are not
taking their turns
1 at a time.

what they mean by this is that the
asymmetrical

portion of it is you have a selection
of items and things that you can do,
but it's not like you have to do
this and then do this. You could do
you could attack and then you can lay
egg and then you could do this, and
then you can do that. It's not like
there's a set. Point of what you can

characters, they all have their advantages and disadvantages,

and that's what I thought maybe they were

was started out a little bit stronger than

And in that, you as you level up,
you have to get
eat so much food.
And as you eat the food, you level

And instead of leveling up and having things
change. You flip the page on your little

have more abilities available to you. Right. So

all the abilities that you start with at
the beginning of the game, you just add
to them. For each level. Right. So you
can still use the ones that you had
at the very beginning, and then you would
keep adding more as you go on. And
your health points go up, your overall health
points. Mh. Although the damage that you have
doesn't just disappear when you level up. That
is an interest mechanic. That. I am not

entirely sure I'd liked, but it definitely added
more challenge to it. Now know, in order
for you to survive,
you have to
get all of... You have to survive all
3 seasons and get rid of all the
predators. So 3
base predators and then the 1 big boss
predator.

You can fight to get bonuses from, So

ant hill which will do 2 damage to

enemy, but you have to kill it first.

you roll the really cool little chicken dice.
Right. And then the let eggs could later
on be turned in for food. But only
at certain times during the season. Right. That
that actually was the same time the weather
changed. Yeah. That the egg exchange. Exactly.
So you'd exchange your eggs for food, and

then the weather would change and then you'd
go for 2 or 3 days, depending on
where you were on the track. Before you
can do an egg exchange again, and the
weather would change again, But there's... Like I
said, there's a lot of things to pay
attention to in this thing because, like, what
are the cards that I got allowed me
to nor weather conditions. Yeah. That was nice.
But I, Suzanne wanted me to use it

eaten, so you know when you can level

of every day. Like, a cheat card with

day, you have to remove a gru. We

There's just... There are some portions of it

keep spending food to heal up and get

and attack and then back off and forage
and eat and then go back and attack

we only had 2 days left. When we
had won the game. Yeah. We only had
2 days when we won, and the big
boss, the each each
enemy has a different life total, depending on
how many people are playing. So like,

playing, they get He gets 2 life. So
with he start out with 4. Because we
were 2 playing players. So we're we're playing
with 5 players, he would have 10 Right.

once you played it a couple more times,
we'll be able to figure out the flow
of the game a little bit easier. It'll

Because you're supposed to pick
randomly. Your chickens randomly and pick your enemies

role of a unique chicken with
asymmetric abilities
and works together to drive off the invading

progress their cause by selecting 2 of their
8 available.
Along the way, players will also have to
manage leveling up, predator loot drops, traveling gru,
and adverse weather conditions. However, players must plan
carefully because as the seasons change every predator

grows stronger and gains new abilities. So basically
they level up every season. Mh. With 11
asymmetric characters to play and 10 unique predators
to defeat.
Flock together offers immense replay ability that can
be enjoyed with quick turns,

of items and things that you can do,
but it's not like you have to do
this and then do this. You could do
