We all have gifts and skills that we have already been utilizing so to go bigger, you don’t have to reinvent the wheel, you just have to use what you have already done. That’s why episode 115 of the Melanin & Medicine Podcast is about how to build and grow the million-dollar social enterprise that you’re probably sitting on right now.

Stop Waiting & Start Creating is a FREE  workshop where you get an opportunity to solidify the vision that your is business and recognize that it CAN be primed for maximum funding opportunities. There, I take a close look at your business or business idea and offer personalized  building and funding recommendations based on where you are in order to get you to where you want to be.

In this episode of the Melanin & Medicine Podcast, I’m sharing the importance of acknowledging and understanding that not everyone has your unique combination of skills and taking action without holding yourself back by focusing on perfection instead of excellence.

The 3 pieces of homework I want you to do after listening to this episode are:

  1. Take an inventory of your gifts, skills, and most importantly- how you have made a difference to people.
  2. Ideate how the things you listed in step number 1 can bring value now by making an impact on various groups and communities.
  3. Improve on that by looking at your network and understanding who needs that value right now.

Be sure to tune in to all the episodes to receive tons of practical tips on empowering Black women in medicine and academia to find their purpose and achieve their vision.
