(00:53):
Hello, this is Kenny Williamson and welcome back to another
episode of Mikhilzadek Chronicles.
I, of course, am your host and today we're going to be talking
a little bit about something. I got an e-mail on and this came
(01:14):
through the website on the contact form.
I have lots of people who contact me that way and if you
have any questions or comments, you can contact me on that
particular Ave. You can go to
truthseekersministry.org and select contact
(01:36):
kennywilliamson.com or it's flatbro.com.
And so the all those roads will eventually lead back to me if
you answer the questions. So anyway, on this particular
e-mail, I thought it was pretty interesting.
(01:56):
This is a common question. I've heard this question before.
I had a young person ask me questions about this before too.
And so I have this e-mail here, and it's from a listener by the
name of Devin, and he says he says.
I have a question I'd like to ask regarding the subject of
(02:17):
hell. I've recently encountered an
objection, and to be honest, I'mnot entirely sure how to address
it yet. The objection is often phrased
like this. If my sins are committed in this
short temporal life, why would the punishment be eternal?
What makes my sin worthy of everlasting fire?
(02:39):
Sometimes it is summarized as how is eternal punishment fair
for temporal sins? OK.
And then he goes on to say. Unfortunately, most of the
answers I've encountered, especially on YouTube, come from
individuals who rely more on philosophy than on Scripture,
offering responses that may sound biblical but lacked direct
(03:01):
scriptural support. And as you know me, I'm all
about scriptural support, OK? The Bible warns about
philosophy. Stay away from it, OK?
So he goes on to say. So my question is this, is there
any way to answer this objectionclearly and directly using
(03:21):
Scripture? I want to be able to explain
biblically why sins committed during our short temporal lives
deserve eternal punishment in hell, and how this is perfectly
just according to Scripture rather than relying on
philosophical arguments. Thank you for your time and
insight. Feel free to make a video on
(03:43):
this subject or read this e-mailon video if you like.
I look forward to your response.Well, that's exactly what we're
doing. We're going to talk about this
on a podcast on a video and answer it.
OK. And the only problem with this
thing is, excuse me, is you know, when you're well, that's
(04:07):
one of those things. There is no direct answer in
Scripture, OK? God does not ever come out and
just say here is why you deserveit.
Here is why I'm going to put youin hell for eternity.
OK? So what we have to do is we have
(04:30):
to understand a few things whichwe're going to go over the
verses in it, and then we have to just kind of bridge the gap
to understand why this is happening, OK?
But there is no black and white verse anywhere that where God
says here is why I'm putting youin hell for eternity.
(04:51):
You just have to kind of make that assumption based on
scriptures. OK, So one of my friends here,
he, he saw this e-mail and he said, this is the way I like to
describe it to people. And this is a very simple little
thing here. And so I'm going to go ahead and
(05:12):
read that to you first. And this fits for any sin.
But in this particular instance,he's using a lie as the sin.
So it says if I lie to my son, you know, I could disappoint
him. If I lie to my wife, well, I
could end up on the couch. If I lie to my boss, I could be
(05:36):
out of a job. I could be fired.
And if I lie to the government, I could go to jail.
So if you don't understand that what what we're seeing here is
as the authority of the entity to which the offense is
committed, the the you know, it increases.
(06:00):
So so as the person of authorityincreases that you're lying to
or sinning against, so does the punishment increase.
You say that's so that's that's what we're trying to explain
here. If you lie to your kid, you
don't you know, he might be disappointed, but you're not
(06:22):
going to get punished. You lie to the government
underoath perjuring you can end up in prison.
So the higher up the entity thatyou lie to or sin against, the
higher the punishment. So now take that in
consideration. What would the punishment be
(06:42):
when you lie to an infinite being who cannot lie?
So now instead of lying, you know, to the government about
your taxes or whatever, now you're lying to the Lord of
Lord, the King, the Lord of Lords, the King of kings, you
know, God Almighty. OK, now you're going to lie to
(07:04):
him. What do you think's going to
happen? OK, because, well, like I said
here, we're going to go over some scripture here.
But so basically, of course, lying is a sin.
But in this particular instance, you know, it's the nature of sin
(07:24):
before a holy God is what our what our concern is here.
So if you think to yourself like, like the question is, we
know I only live to be, let's say, 62 years old and I really
didn't send that much. OK, you know, I said, OK, let's
say you live 60 years old, 62 years old, whatever, and you
(07:45):
send every day of your life which, which you do 'cause
you're a Sinner, right? So, but you're not forgiven for
it because you didn't accept Jesus Christ.
So then you, you go to hell, youdie and go to hell.
It's like, well, you're going tobe in hell in eternity.
So it's like, well, why are you going to be there for eternity
when you only sin for 60 years? You know, I mean, a couple of
(08:06):
the first couple, 3 or 4 years, you weren't even sinning.
You're a baby. So the problem is here is sin is
not small and any sin is not small because who of your who
you are committing it against, you're committing it against an
(08:27):
infinite being a holy God. So even one sin makes a person
guilty, see of breaking God's law.
So it's because the fact you sinned against God who cannot
sin and will not sin and will not allow sin and cannot have
(08:49):
sin anywhere near him. What do you expect the
punishment to be? OK, Well eternity I mean the
Bible is clear. If you go to hell you will be
there for eternity. Now I don't know why that is OK.
God doesn't explain that. See, in my human way of
(09:10):
thinking, I would think, OK, well I know a lot of people who
deserve to go to hell, but you know, I don't.
In my mind, I don't think they deserve to go to hell for
eternity. You know, maybe they deserve to
go to hell for 100 years, maybe 1000 years.
Maybe there's some out there like these ones pushing these
snake bites, OK, these rattlesnake bites that are
(09:33):
killing people left and right, they probably deserve to burn in
hell for 5 or 6000 years. But you would think, now this is
my way of thinking. You would think that a person
after burning for 5000 years would realize everything they
did was a sin and they absolutely need Jesus Christ
(09:54):
because they're a Sinner. So, you know, would they accept
Jesus Christ because they realize they're a Sinner and
they need it? Or would they simply accept
Jesus Christ, to get out of hell?
I get out of hell, free card, soto speak.
I mean, is that what they would do?
And really, they wouldn't mean it.
They just try to say it and say,oh, yeah, any, anything to get
(10:16):
out of hell. And really, in their mind,
they're thinking, well, I'd go back.
I'd go right back to making money if I could and be a
billionaire and I, I don't care if all these people die.
Yeah, I don't know. Maybe God knows and that's why
you ain't getting out. But but as far as the sin is,
(10:36):
you know is concerned, in Romans623, it says for the wages of
sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life through
Jesus Christ our Lord. So sin is death for eternity and
believing in Jesus Christ is eternal life, you know, life
(10:59):
eternal. So you know, again, I'm, I'm
only a human, so I can't understand all of God's ways
because I'm not mentally able todo it.
None of us are. So, but either way, any sin, OK,
(11:26):
even a small sin is worthy of hell and it carries eternal
weight because it's against an eternal lawgiver.
And not only that is if you're not saved, you're going to keep
on sinning. It's not like you say well
sinned for 60 years and you sentme to hell.
It's like everything that you dois sin because you, you're not
(11:49):
forgiven. Say that's what a lot of people
can't wrap their minds around. I've heard people say this once
they get saved, they're like, well, I'm not a Sinner anymore.
It's like, no, you are a you, either you are a unsaved Sinner
or you're a saved Sinner. And see, that's what gets people
(12:10):
tripped up, especially these people in these Babel buildings
and people in these cults is they're like, oh, well, I'm
saved, but I'm, I'm still sinning.
So I need to do this, this and this to make it look better.
So I'm not a Sinner. And it's like, there's nothing
you can do to get rid of your sin.
You are a Sinner. Now if you're truly saved, you
(12:36):
know God will choose to look away from your sin.
He, he will choose to forget it.But he's not forgetting it
because you didn't do it. He's forgetting it because you
accepted His only begotten Son, Jesus Christ.
And His blood shed is what covers your sins, OK?
(12:57):
It washes you white as snow. If you don't have that, your
sins are still there. Well, OK, you won't accept Jesus
Christ, so your sins are there. You die.
Well, God can't have your sin anywhere near Him, so he puts
you in hell. Well, he's an eternal being.
(13:19):
So how long do you think you're going to be there as as I've
heard one other preacher say years ago he said, you know,
unless something happens to God.I mean, unless God dies or
something, you'll be there untilhe stops existing because he's
the one running the show and he's eternal.
(13:40):
So you're going to be there for eternity.
I mean, so, you know, that's theonly the only way I really know
how to describe it. OK.
We could talk about here eternalpunishment, which is declared by
Jesus Christ himself. Jesus Christ directly taught
(14:02):
that hell is everlasting. So that leaves no room for any
idea of temporary punishment, OK.
Because, you know, you'll hear people say that.
They'll say, well, you know, and, and Catholics talk about
this. They refuse to call it hell.
(14:24):
A lot of a lot of dominant denominations are doing that
now. They won't call it hell.
They want to call it purgatory, see, because they call it
purgatory. Then you can go to purgatory.
And if you do, your family members come in to the Church
and, you know, have a father pray for you.
Or if you pray enough to marry, you can get your loved ones or
(14:46):
you pay, you can get your loved ones out of purgatory early.
So obviously that's a satanic ridiculous teaching.
The Bible does not teach that. That is something that's
absolutely ludicrous. OK, That's that's some wishful
thinking by somebody who is going to hell.
(15:07):
And it's like I've heard before,anytime you find a preacher, a
teacher, whatever they claim to be, and they're trying to spruce
up hell, or as he said, they're trying to air condition hell.
The reason they're trying to do that is because they themselves
are on their way there. So they want to make it seem
(15:28):
like it's no big deal when it really is OK.
So in Matthew 2546 says and these shall go away into
everlasting punishment, but the righteous into it into life
eternal. So the unsaved everlasting
(15:50):
punishment, you know the righteous or the saved life
eternal. OK, and here we got another one.
In Mark 943 it says, and if I hand offend thee, cut it off.
It's better for thee to enter into life maimed than having two
hands and going into hell, into the fire that never shall be
(16:13):
quenched, where their worm diethnot.
And the fire is not quenched. OK, so the worm dieth not now
I've heard, I've heard a couple theories on that right there.
And one of them is the fact thatif you were in your normal
(16:37):
mindset and you were burning foreternity, that obviously you'd
probably go insane. So there's a chance you're
whittled down, if you will, and your very existence is as a like
a worm. You basically are a worm at that
point. So God strips your body away
(17:00):
from you. You've got your soul, and he
puts it in the form of a worm that's burning, like a serpent,
a snake or a worm. OK.
And so you're not you're not getting to run around and have a
good time anyway. Also, we have Matthew 1028 here
(17:21):
it says and fear not them which kill the body but are not able
to kill the soul. So you know, I mean, that's why
a true Christian, I mean, you don't want to die, of course
nobody wants to die. But you don't fear it like an
unsaved person because you know, they can take your life, but
they can't take your soul, but rather fear him which is able to
(17:43):
destroy both soul and the body in hell.
So you know, if you're a, you know, if, if you don't make it
right here, if you're not a Christian right now and the
rapture happens, for example, and once you realize that it's
real and you actually change at that point and say, OK, now I'm
going to live for God. Well, they're probably once you
(18:06):
did, you know, And so there's a good chance they're going to cut
off your head or something like that.
And so, but you don't have to fear that if they capture you
and they kill you, because the moment that you're killed,
you're going to, you know, you're going to go to heaven.
They can't take your soul. They can just end your bodily
life. But God, he can take your bodily
life and he can put your soul inhell, OK?
(18:30):
He is who you need to fear because, well, and that's like
we said in the in the full of Proverbs, the fear of the Lord
is the beginning of understanding, OK, You need to
fear the Lord because he's the one that can put you in hell,
not anybody else. So, and just as a side note, you
(18:52):
know, the same word everlasting, which is used in these, you
know, used for punishment in Matthew 25.
It's the same word used for eternal life.
Basically, if life is forever, so is the punishment.
So you know, anyway, so then let's go on here.
We could say, you know, man obviously, and of course I
(19:15):
believe this as well. Man is without excuse.
I've heard this, I've heard thisbefore.
People are like, well, you know,I just don't believe the Bible.
I just don't believe this. I don't believe that, you know,
the the book is written by feeble minded fools, feeble
minded idiot. I've heard everything.
And like this, the Bible teachesthat God has revealed himself
(19:36):
through creation. OK, leaving sinners without
excuse. So thus rejection of him carries
eternal guilt. It it carries eternal
consequences whenever you rejectthe God who created everything
and that that's what I like here.
(19:59):
Romans 120 it says for the invisible things of him from the
creation of the world are clearly seen being understood by
the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead.
So they are without excuse. So in other words, when you look
out and you look around and you see the stuff happening in the
(20:20):
birds and the skies and the rainand the stars and the moon,
you're without excuse because God made the things and you're
without excuse when you see them.
Because you see it, it proves God is real.
Now if you. But you know, again, if, if, if
(20:42):
you believe the propaganda you have been taught since birth,
you don't believe that. You believe that it's from The
Big Bang. It's all accidental.
And so then you look at the things and your mind reverts
back to the fake, OK, everythingyou've been taught fake by the
devil. And you're like, oh, well, this
(21:03):
doesn't prove God. This just proves The Big Bang.
But I'm going to tell you right now, when you're standing before
God, that excuse won't work, OK?It won't work.
This Cartoon Network, Big Bang Theory, that junk, you were
(21:24):
warned. You heard it here, you've heard
it other places. And if, if, if your mind is so
full of ridiculous propaganda and you are so deluded and
delusional that you won't look out your window and see for it
yourself, you will be held accountable for it.
(21:44):
And God, like he says here, the things of creation of the world
are clearly seen. You can see these things.
You can see the moon, you can see the stars, you can see the
clouds, you can see the rainbows, which by the way, the
reason it's round because it's bouncing off the firmament, OK,
It's the rainbow takes the shapeof the prism it goes through.
(22:08):
And because the rainbow looks like like an arch is because
it's really reflected through anarch.
OK, Now they, they teach that inscience, but they always run it
through a prism and they change the shape of this little rainbow
because it runs through a prism.Whatever the shape of the prism
is, is the shape of the rainbow. When you look up in the sky,
it's always an arch. It's not square, it's not
(22:29):
straight, it's not a pyramid, it's an arch.
There's a reason for that. So you're, you're not going to
have any excuse. All right, so let's see here we
go in John 318. He that believeth on him, on
(22:52):
Jesus Christ is not condemned, but he that believeth not is
condemned already because he hasnot believed in the name of the
only begotten Son of God. So if you don't believe in Jesus
Christ, you're condemned already, OK?
And well, it's just like we we talked about in the full of
(23:16):
proverbs. God is going to laugh at your
calamity when something happens,He's going to mock you.
And then when you come crying tohim, it's going to be too late,
OK? So as soon as you get thrown
into hell, then you start begging to get out, you're too
late, OK? So God's justice is eternal, OK.
(23:40):
So since God is an eternal and holy, He is eternal and holy,
His judgment is also eternal, OK?
So Hebrews 927 as it is appointed unto men wants to die,
but after this the judgment OK 2nd Thessalonians 18IN flaming
(24:08):
fire, taking vengeance on them that know not God in flaming
fire, taking vengeance on them that don't know God, and they
that not that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ.
So you don't know God, you're not obeying Jesus Christ in
(24:28):
flaming fire. Get this OK, who shall be
punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of
the Lord and from the glory of His power?
So and then hope this answers the question.
If you live a life of sin, let'ssay you live to be 7065 years.
(24:56):
You lived as a heathen and a Sinner and in the last year, in
fact, on your deathbed, you accept Jesus Christ and you
really did it. You're going to heaven.
If you don't, you're going to burn in hell.
Each is for eternity. Now do you deserve to go to
(25:18):
hell? You know, from eternity I well,
you're a Sinner and and you rejected Jesus Christ.
You got to understand these sinners they're talking about,
we're all sinners, but these sinners are there.
What Bobby is, what the Bible istalking about here is somebody
who rejects Jesus Christ. That's what you're doing.
(25:42):
You're actually rejecting God. It's not about, OK, I, I stole
some pencils. I stole a car.
I did. It has nothing to do with that
kind of sin. It has to do with the ultimate
sin is rejecting God and rejecting his free gift and
rejecting the free gift of JesusChrist.
You're rejecting it. So once you've rejected God,
(26:04):
your punishment, I mean, that's what you wanted.
You had your chance and you wouldn't do it.
So this is what you want. You chose it, and the Bible
specifically says it's for eternity and that's what you
chose. I mean, you had the choice,
right? You can choose it free, free
(26:25):
gift. It doesn't cost you anything.
You don't have to go to some bigchurch to do it.
You don't have to sit in front of ATV to do it.
You can do it in your house, on your bed, in your floor, in your
car, on a bicycle. You can stop and pray and accept
Jesus Christ and it's all free. But you didn't want to do that.
See, for some reason you don't want to do that because then
(26:48):
you're going to lose your, your friends, all your drinking
buddies, OK, all you're partying, that kind of stuff.
You know, they, they might not like that, especially when you
accept Jesus Christ and then youstart mentioning to them, they
don't want to hear it, just likeyou didn't want to hear it.
So they're going to back away. They don't have anything to do
with you. It.
(27:10):
I mean, if you think accepting Jesus Christ is going to make
you a, a movie star, somebody popular, you're wrong.
All those guys are devil worshippers.
That's how they are where they are, OK?
Jesus Christ and God is not interested in people running
around in Hollywood and Jersey Shores or whatever it is in
(27:32):
California half dressed with bigfake duck lips, running around
and getting paid, you know, to worship the devil.
That's that's what they're doing.
God's uninterested in any of that crap that that crap, OK?
He's interested in getting people's saved before it's too
late, interested in saving your soul and it's not going to get
(27:56):
done by dancing around and doingall the stuff people are doing
and claiming to be Christians. OK?
So let's see why eternal punishment is just another one
here, OK? The real issue is not the length
(28:19):
of the sinning, how many years, OK, but it's the gravity of
sinning against an infinite God,which we've covered.
It's not what the sin is and howlong the sin was.
It's who you're sinning against.OK, you're singing against the
(28:41):
top dog now, OK. And when you sin against the
creator who created you, who created the universe, who knows
everything, who knows your thoughts, who knows your hidden
thoughts, who knows everything that you've ever done, OK, And
(29:02):
anything that you ever will do. And then you want to run and
hide and reject that when you can look out and see proof of
God all around you. And then you can get on sites
like this and others where people have, you know, they have
miracles, people have been healed miraculously.
People have seen this stuff. You have no excuse, but you
(29:24):
choose to deny him anyway. Yes, you're going to burn in
hell for eternity just for that alone, regardless of any of the
other stuff you've done. That stuff is insignificant
compared to denial of Jesus Christ.
Think about it. OK, so let's see Isaiah 59 two.
(29:49):
But your iniquities have separated between you and your
God, and your sins have hid his face from you that He will not
hear. Now keep in mind, if you're
saved, you're still a Sinner andyou go to the Lord in prayer and
still ask for forgiveness for the sins that you commit daily.
(30:11):
OK, but you're not praying for salvation.
You're already saved at that point.
Now you're a saved Sinner. And now the Holy Spirit is
speaking to you, telling you, hey, you shouldn't be doing
that. Hey, you know that evil thoughts
you had about such and such, youshould have never done that.
Hey, you know how you cussed that guy out today when you were
(30:31):
driving? You know you shouldn't have done
that. And then you pray for
forgiveness for sins you're committing daily, and that keeps
you in fellowship with the Lord.It doesn't mean you're not saved
and it's not going to get you out of your heavenly position
and it's not going to send you to hell because you're saved.
But you still need to stay in fellowship with the Lord by
(30:53):
asking for forgiveness every daybecause you still are a Sinner
and you're expected to do the right thing.
OK, so but you hide your face from God.
In other words, you reject JesusChrist.
He says he will not hear you. So then when you come to prayer,
(31:16):
he doesn't listen and see peopledon't understand that like,
well, I pray every night. Well, if you're not saved, God
is not listening to those prayers, OK?
And he probably hears them, and I'm not saying he won't ever,
Once in a while, but he turns away from people who are not
saved. He laughs at you.
OK, You're not getting anything. You're not getting anywhere.
(31:40):
The only thing he's going to listen to is if you pray for
forgiveness and pray that you'resaved.
That's the only real thing he's got.
Now, after that, your prayers are probably getting listened
to, you know, but up to that point, why bother?
You're praying to somebody you've rejected.
Do you really think you're goingto get anything out of it?
(32:03):
OK, let's see. OK, so either way here,
rejecting God's grace through Jesus Christ deserves greater
punishment because it despises God's perfect remedy.
So. Let's see here we've got I've
(32:30):
got a little summary here. Summary eternal punishment is
not unfair because sin is against an eternal an eternal
holy God. OK, Jesus himself declared hell
to be everlasting sinners are without excuse in rejecting
God's truth. God's judgments are eternal, and
(32:56):
rejecting Christ adds even greater eternal guilt.
I would say rejecting Christ is the greatest sin of all.
OK, because if you don't do that, your other sins are not
forgiven. You have to accept Jesus Christ
(33:20):
in order to get your sins forgiven.
So regardless of how many years it took you to do those sins, I
think is irrelevant. Regardless of what sins you did
is irrelevant because you're born a Sinner, OK?
(33:41):
Your human nature is sin and youdeserve to go to hell for what
you've done and what you've thought, just as I have.
I deserve it. I deserve to burn probably for a
couple thousand years, OK, at least.
And that's even in my way of thinking.
So the things that I've done, I definitely deserve to go to
(34:04):
hell. And if it wasn't for Jesus
Christ, in God's grace, I would go to hell and I would deserve
it. And I can't even imagine ever
getting outgoing. Well, you know, I probably
deserve it for eternity just on the stuff I've done.
But if you don't accept Jesus Christ, you're denying God and
(34:28):
you're denying Jesus. That's the biggest sin of all.
And so now you've denied the creator and eternal creator.
And for that you will go to eternal punishment.
And so that's, that's what it boils down to.
I mean, but basically, you know, like I was saying, there is no
place in the Bible that it says,Hey, I'm going to send you to
(34:51):
hell for eternity because you did this, this and this.
That's, that's, that's not what it's about.
I mean, it doesn't say that. And I don't know that this was
philosophy that I answered this with.
I'm, I'm trying to answer this biblically, as in, you know,
here's what God thinks about sinand here's the greatest sin and
(35:13):
you chose you, you know, you chose to reject it for whatever
reason. And most people, I feel, I feel
they reject it because, you know, they don't want
accountability, not in this day and age.
I mean, today when you look at these people and you see them on
X, you see them on all these people, the way they act, the
(35:36):
way they talk. I mean, they don't want it.
They want to live out sin and they want to be very prideful
about it, and they want to put it up in your face and they want
you to be prideful for them. And when you reject it, they say
you're a bigot. OK, so all they are now is about
(35:57):
pride. Pride, pride.
That's the end of the word. Everything's pride.
Well, God hates pride. That's that's why they say it.
See, the devil has got them so fooled into this pride thing,
they're too dumb to open their Bible and see that.
That's one of the things God hates is pride.
He hates it. So of course, everything is a
(36:20):
pride movement, right? Gay pride.
I'm proud of this. I'm pride of that, proud of
that, proud of this, proud of that.
Pride. Pride, Pride, Pride month.
God hates pride, so of of coursethey're going to push pride
(36:43):
because it's exactly a what God hates.
And let me just let me just search this here just to let's
see here. Yeah, Pride goeth before
destruction, And a haughty spirit before a fall.
(37:06):
A man's pride shall bring him low.
OK, let's see. Let's look at a few more here.
We've got all kinds of them on here.
But yeah, God hates pride. So it's A and a proud look.
(37:34):
He hates a proud look too. I mean, let me re retype this to
proud here. Let's see here.
Yeah, let's see here. Proud, proud, proud.
Yeah, yeah. God hates a high look and a
(38:00):
proud heart. Yeah.
So you, you, you can look it up yourself.
I mean, I, I didn't have it already looked up, right?
Or I read it off to you. But God hates pride.
And that's exactly why everything's proud.
Proud and prideful. So what this whole thing boils
(38:21):
down to, and I hope, I hope thatthis makes you understand it.
If you had any question, is thiseternal sin or eternal
punishment for sin is because I mean, you wouldn't get eternal
punishment. You wouldn't get punishment like
you wouldn't go to hell at all if you accepted Jesus Christ,
But because you rejected Jesus and God and his remedy, that's
(38:43):
eternal. The sins themselves, I mean,
once you've rejected Jesus Christ or whatever and you, you
say, hey, I'm not interested, your sins are going to send you
to hell. Yes, because God doesn't want
any sin near him. He can't have it.
He doesn't sin, and when he doesstuff, he does it for long
periods because he himself is aneternal being.
(39:07):
So anyway, I hope that makes sense.
It's kind of a, you know, one ofthose things that a lot of
people get get hung up on because they don't think that
their sin is bad enough for themto get punished and they don't
think they deserve hell. They think that they're just
pretty good old boys, you know? And I understand that.
I mean, I know people like that.They, they're like, well, I've,
(39:30):
I've been, I don't, I don't needGod, but I, I, I've never really
stole anything and I've never done anything.
And I'm a good person and I givemoney to the church and I do
this and I help people. So why would I need God?
So I, I think I'll just try all my own.
Good luck with that one. Yeah.
(39:50):
There's your fool. There's your fool right there.
You, you don't have it. You don't have what it takes.
I'm sorry, OK, the bar is just alittle bit too high.
And since you can't make it on your own, if I were you, I'd
accept the free gift before it'stoo late because you'd there
(40:13):
ain't no guarantees how many more days or minutes or hours
you have. OK.
So anyway, I hope that helps you.
