As many of you know substance abuse is a topic close to our hearts at MHU and Corey discusses a period of his life where he was greatly impacted by SA. Corey discusses his experiences dealing with healthcare of behalf of a loved one. We also focus on the mental health component of being in a relationship with someone suffering from substance use disorder. Finally, we peel back the curtain on the healthcare and pharmacy side of the issue and get the patient perspective when prescription medications and controlled substances get involved.
