In this episode of Mental Health Mavens, we are joined by Dan Klco, who delves into the topic of running addiction. Dan helps us define what running addiction is and explores the potential effects of excessive exercise on the brain. We discuss the warning signs of exercise addiction, such as obsessing over exercise, continuing to exercise despite injury or illness, and feeling guilty or anxious when unable to exercise.
Throughout the episode, Dan provides valuable tips and insights for individuals who may be struggling with exercise addiction, as well as for their loved ones and support systems. Join us for this important conversation on a topic that is often overlooked in discussions around mental health and wellness.
