The highly anticipated Julie (Jisoo) Jeong finally joins Mentally Chill! If you know Julie, you'll know we rarely get a window into her more serious/vulnerable side. Since moving here from Korea, Julie talks about what it's like growing up as a minority in the US and how that gave her an identity crisis. We discuss her relationship with her parents and how that's evolved through the years. We also shed light on being raised in a Korean household, and how that's made it difficult for her to be vulnerable and learn to ask for help. We wrap on why we love working in the restaurant industry and reveal some cautionary tales too. Happy to see you!
