Unknown (00:00):
Hello. Me and Moreliance. Here's a little behind the scenes,
kind of notes of of the things I'm doing.
I like to kind of recently end up I don't think I've always done this but sometimes.
I try to take notes. So just to give you a bit of a background on this is for the book review and this is a book review of Mastery. We've got sitting here from Robert Green.

(00:23):
In terms of the process of that I take for this, I actually go and so to give you an idea, I go and read the book. Sorry. Big fab book. I go and read it. Go fully read it through
and then I as I'm reading it, I actually take notes as I go through it. Then I kind of annotate on the book itself which sometimes mercy as some people hate that but I'll I'll number them, I'll put some little notes again. So for me, so to give you an idea of like an example of a this is number nine and chapter 156

(00:52):
or something and I say
this is a, a tiring concept.
Prefer
prefer just showing parts of the real you,
where applicable. So I kinda made a little note of myself of what I've a partner here that I was gonna call out, which is, oh, yeah. At the top of your around, yeah, whether you fake it till you make a top of deal or do a little bit more realistic. Kind of challenge for being written here by Robert Greene. And anyways, I'll take some notes. I take I take the the particulars.

(01:18):
I
vocalize it through at the moment in AR. So then I'll kind of, like, speak directly to AI in terms of, hey. Can you here's all my notes. Here's what I thought. Blah blah blah blah blah. I've got a bit of a template, which then helps fill that out in terms of here. Here's your book review. Here's all your notes. Here's the comparisons.
From that, I'm gonna get some bullet points around what are my talking points. Right? And that's what I've just I've been get that, obviously, in a document in a written for me AI,

(01:42):
and I review that. But then what I I'm liking to do, and often at least for me in any case, is that I like to then rewrite it out onto paper. Really the valuable things, the things I care about. So to give you an idea, we've just started this, but mastery review, and this is the bullet point from when I'm actually gonna do the book review.
Right, well written, historically rich, very green, you know, very green, very Robert Green, less hard hitting than the 48 laws of power. And the next no. I'll do writing this, strong stories, although

(02:10):
repetitive.
Although repetitive.
And Tiff.
And a couple of things though at least for me personally and maybe you know for younger listening says maybe doesn't apply anymore but when I rewrite things
it does tend to kind of store more in the brain this is pretty usual for people who have done this quite a lot of times. Often when I've done podcasts, when I do a book review, if I do it right off the bat,

(02:34):
from when I've just, like, recently read it and I go off the cuff and I usually am pretty good at that, fantastic. It go really well. When I do interviews, I tend to write a lot of notes beforehand and it helps me not refer to the notes, kind of helps store that information in my mind. So I'm trying a layout where I'll rewrite the notes that I've gathered
and trying to structure it together because in that process, I kinda go, oh, what's really applicable? What what do I just not do a shit about really talking about? And so in

(03:00):
that, I'll be able to hopefully put a more well
documented structure to the book review, but then also as you saw in the notes, the actual book learnings that come around that as well. So if you've ever thought, yeah, how in the world do you guys do the,
the book reviews or the podcast or anything else? Well, they know. It was kind of like a little behind the scenes of what we do as well. And, we also have been playing around with the the light setup. So to give you some idea, there's one light just up here. I've changed the location of the couch, and I've got another big light that's gonna go around as well. So it's also playing around with the details on, you know, what does it look like? Is it better light? Or the light, you know, currently comes from there's a big window here that's open. I've tried to add a couple more light sources just to make sure that it's looking clean from a video perspective

(03:45):
and also just more well articulated.
I seem to be a good off the cuff, but you can always get a little bit better with the articulation. So, and if you ever want to see my
actual handwriting,
there it is as well. It's not the most fantastic, but it's beautiful and legible enough for me.
Yep. A little bit behind the scenes of how we do the Me and Mortals book reviews.
